Heavenly Father I come before your Heavenly Throne on behalf of our nation and I lift it up to you in prayer. Evil has come upon our nation that has caused much grief in our hearts. As I watched this tragedy unfold my heart was filled with sadness and unbelief that this was happening. This is the work of madmen so filled with evil and hate that they have no respect for life. Lord I ask that you wrap the loved ones of the victims in your arms of love. I ask that you give comfort to them and draw each one close to you. I ask that you cover those who have been injured with your healing power from above. I ask that you bring them through completely healed. I ask that people be found alive today as they search through the rubble. I ask that you give wisdom and guidance to our President and leaders as they seek to find those responsible for this tragedy. I ask that this evil aggressor and his accomplices be found and brought in to receive their just punishment. I ask that you touch the hearts of each and every American in this nation, I ask that you touch the hearts of each and every country and draw them close to you. I ask that an outpouring of the Holy Spirit fill this world and that many will come to you Lord. I pray that we as a people stand united together in prayer for this nation and for the people who have lost their loved ones. I prayer that from this tragedy we come together as a nation with love and kindness toward our fellow Americans. I pray that from this tragedy many will come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Lord I ask that you place your mighty hand of healing upon this nation. I ask that you place a hedge of protection around us and protect us from evil. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.
