you've put here in this beautiful tree, Is a wonderful gift that you've given me.
I'll always remember, my brother dear, How you've helped me today overcome a fear.
Of reaching for things far above me. And knowing someday, that we'll look down
and see our own little one's, in this very swing, Reaching toward the sky and
remembering...So, push me gently, push me high, So my young girl's shoes may reach the
sky. The clouds are still like a cotton ball.
With you here, dear brother, I shall never fall.Now the years have passed, but I've come today, to
this beautiful swing, where we used to play.
I came my dear brother, remembering....The special times we had, and the tears they
bring.
Our swing sits empty now these days. For you have gone to a higher
place. And all the wonderful dreams we had shared, For this swing, our lives,
and places out there...Were gone in an instant, taken out of our grasp. I miss you
dear brother, your hand I can't clasp.
So I'm sitting here now, just longing to hear,
your voice and touch on my back, brother dear. In the gentle breeze, I feel the seat sway, And I
know that from Heaven, you're looking today,
at our beautiful swing, and our times gone by.
