The Fool
It takes a fool to think he's
right,
And a man to admit he's wrong.
A woman to keep love growing,
And an Angel to sing a song.
I'd like to be that man,
And stand so proud and tall.
Forgiving others of their mistakes,
Or not be a man at all.
I'd like to be that woman,
That keeps helping love to grow.
Than to keep right on hurting,
The ones' who love her so.
I'd like to be that Angel,
And sing my song all day.
That tells about the happiness,
She's spread along life's way.
I don't want to be that fool,
Who keeps the family torn apart.
He can't stop a grudge from growing,
But knows how to break a heart.
When you're talking about others,
You're sinning to God above.
So if you speak about someone,
Make sure it's said with love.
