No Good-byes
Please don't ever say good-bye,
It's not the word to choose.
So never say good-bye to me,
And I won't say it to you.
Though even when you get here,
I know that you can't stay.
For in just a week or so,
You'll be on your way.
Good-bye just sounds so final,
When it's time for us to part.
How can I be missing you,
When I have you in my heart.
And one day when I'm lonely,
A tear may touch my eye.
Though I know I'll see you soon,
For we never said good-bye.
