Budded on Earth To Bloom in Heaven
![]() |
Thinking back to
yesteryear,
My memories
unfold.
The little girl
I speak about,
Was only three
years old.
Her hair like
sun kissed corn silk,
Dimpled cheeks
and a button nose.
With eyes as
blue as the heavens,
Her beauty like
that of a rose.
Such a sweet and
happy one,
This whisper of
a child.
She'd brighten
up the darkest day,
With her prize
winning smile.
But we weren't
meant to keep her,
God just loaned
her for awhile.
To leave us
loving memories,
Of His darling
child.
And the Angels
cried for joy,
As they came to
take her home.
Once more to
grow and blossom,
Around God's
shinning throne.
In loving
memories of my niece
