I had a dream not long ago. I  was taken to a beautiful mansion, I had never seen such a site in all of my life. There were crystal chandeliers, gold and silver vases.  The walls seem to shimmer like diamonds. It was like a fairy tale that I dreamed of as a child. Lounged on a sofa was the most beautiful creature I have ever seen. He was dressed in white.  The white satin shirt was sleeveless and I could see his muscles. His long jet black hair touched his shoulders. I noticed the eye's most of all.  They were bluer than any blue I had ever seen. They reminded of a deep blue sea. The playful grin he had on his lips was a boyish smile. He beckoned for me to come closer.  As I walked closer he turned slightly and I notice his back. To my disgust there were two of the most hideous nub's.  They looked like at one time, to have been wing's.  They were burned, red, and had an odor that was terrible so I pulled back. At first, I thought this must be Heaven; with all the beautiful gold, silver and crystal.  Everything had a shine on it. Then I  realized this creature was the devil. All of a sudden I awoke, from this dream.  It disturbed me for several days. I finally spoke to my husband about what I had dreamed. I couldn't understand why I would dream such a dream of a beautiful man.  He actually haunted me, I can still see those eyes and his face.  My husband reminded me that God's most beautiful Angel, was Satan until he was cast down to hell.  I pondered over this dream for many days, then the answer came to me. After you have given your heart to the Lord, the devil is still after you. Whether you are sleeping or awake. He wants your soul.  The Lord is coming soon. The devil is always there tempting you to go back to your old nature, before  you had received the Holy Spirit. I have gone back to my old nature many times and put the Father on the back burner so to speak. I read the bible and said an occasional prayer.  But that was it. I hadn't stepped one foot in a church for over ten years. My friend's husband died and at the service I felt the Lord strong. He didn't give up on me. When I renewed my life with the Lord, I learned you have to feed the indwelling Christ, to nurture the spirit, walk in the spirit. So many people are saved and accept the Lord, then they don't read the bible or feed the spirit.  Their flame start's to run out, it is like an oil lamp, you pore the oil in to burn. When the oil is gone, so is the light. The spirit can glow dim, you must feed it in order to grow in your Christian walk. Being with a church family, having Bible study, is the way to grow in your Christian walk. Reading the Bible and praying is what keeps the spirit lit within you.  So when you renew your life with the Lord, keep the flames aglow. Do not let it go out like I have done so many times before.  It is the most rewarding thing that you can do for yourself, the Lord Jesus is coming soon.  Are you washed in the Blood of the Lamb?  Have you given your heart to Jesus? Do so today, do not choose damnation, choose Salvation. The spirit is with you, reach out and ask.  This was a dream, but I believe it to be a sign from the Lord as it will be a reality one day.
