Christ IDENTIFIED Himself with man and became sin for him that he might become the
righteousness of God in Christ ( Cor. 5:21). He became man's substitute and died in
his place. He died to make him live; to make him well and healthy; to make him strong and
victorious over all his enemies; to make him happy and prosperous; and to take him to
Heaven to live forever with Himself and God. If we have to suffer the sins, pains, and
sicknesses that Christ bore in our place, His substitution work for us avails nothing ( Cor.
5:21; Isa. 53:10; 52:14; and all the other scripture references to IDENTIFICATION. It
is through the death of Christ we are made alive. It was our sin that caused Him to die.
When death slew Him it destroyed itself. When sin conquered Him it was conquered by Him.
When disease conquered Him it was conquered by Him. When He put away our sins He also put
away our diseases. By His stripes we WERE healed. It is already a fact that we WERE
healed. We each partake of His righteousness and healing when we accept His work for us.
Just as our IDENTIFICATION or UNION with sin, sickness, and Satan brought defeat, so our
UNION with Christ brings victory over these things. We were crucified with Christ
and if we BELIEVE we live with Him by
Resurrected Power, He is our perfect Savior, Healer, Provider, and all we need in this
life, as well as in the one to come.
I have blessed myself over and over again as I study about our AUTHORITY IN CHRIST.
This is the entire design of this message. IT IS TO BLESS ALL WHO SHALL ENTER INTO THE
KNOWLEDGE OF OUR AUTHORITY IN CHRIST. I have not received a penny in writing and working
at this message. The Lord sent me to His Word and I found this Holy Scriptures. For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye
shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.( Matthew 23:39). Also
read Matthew 21:9; Psalms 118:26. It is just as Christ conquered sin,
sickness, and Satan, we can conquer them IN HIM by IDENTIFICATION with HIM. His victory
was our victory. He was victor in our place and we are victors IN HIM. We were there when
the devil was defeated. We are masters of these same powers THROUGH CHRIST. We are the
ones who must carry on the work of God that JESUS started. There can be no defeat or
failure. We have salvation and healing now IF we will take it. We must REFUSE to have
either sin or sickness. Read that again and realize that it is us that must REFUSE to have
either sin or sickness. The scriptures talk a great deal about the connection of SIN with
SICKNESS. Search the Word of God and find where this connection is true. Remove the sin
and you remove the root cause of the sickness. Ask Him about the problem and be ready do
as He states to you. Take your circumstances and anything else to Him and permit Him to
become your resources. We must TAKE our rightful place. We have the power of attorney, all
we need it to use it to get what we want and what is ours IN CHRIST. We have the Power of
God as children of God. I need to state this to you and it is so very important. If you
are not a child of the Lord then you are child of the Devil. You must be a child of the
Lord to receive from Him. Come to Him and receive His Great Salvation today. Read what we
have today IN CHRIST. This Word IN is used over and over again in scripture. I want you to
see this Word IN as it is used IN CHRIST. This word means IN UNION WITH and when used of
person's it does not mean bodily entrance into, except, in the case of disembodied
spirits, or demons. We read of God being IN CHRIST ( Cor. 5:19) and Christ being IN
God (John 14:10-11, 20); of man being IN CHRIST and Christ being IN man (Rom.
8:10); of man being IN the Spirit and the Spirit being IN man (Rom. 8:9); and
of Satan entering INTO man (John 13:27). Men control each other to the extent of
oneness with each other. So it is with God and Satan, who control men to the extent of
UNION with them to the same end. Thus, when God dwelled IN CHRIST and Christ dwelled IN
GOD, it did not mean they were one person or that they dwelt inside each other bodily.
They were one IN UNION-one to the same end, IN the same sense that men and Christ, or men
and men, dwell IN each other. He that is joined to the Lord is one Spirit (I Cor. 6:17).
"IN THE NAME OF" is a phrase denoting "by the authority of " Webster
dictionary states, in the name of, is given as an invocation, adjuration, etc., originally
of Divine or Holy persons or things; as, In the name of God, Amen." In behalf
of, by the authority of; as in the name of the law." This latter is the sense in
which Jesus and many Bible writers used it. I have search the Word of God and found
hundreds of references to our authority IN CHRIST. I asked the Lord for a good example
that we all would understand. He said to me a law enforcement officer has a great deal of
authority in the name of the law. All of our nation and all of our laws are standing
behind their authority. The person themselves can do only a limited amount of enforcement.
It is was is within their authority that bring forth great power. That really blessed me
and it still does today. We must use our authority that is residing IN CHRIST. All of
heaven and all of the creators power is reading within His words of spirit law. Read in
the
book of Genesis how many times the creator God states (And God Said). This
authority is waiting for each of us to come into the full knowledge of who we are and what
we can enforce in this world and in the spirit world.
