Josh. 23:16 When
ye have transgressed the covenant of the LORD

your children, and will not keep my commandments
and my statutes which I have set before
you, but go and serve other gods, and worship
them:
7 Then will I cut
off Israel out of the land which I have given
them; and this house, which I have hallowed for
My Name, will I cast out of My Sight; and Israel
shall be a proverb and a byword among all
people:
8 And at this house,
which is high, every one that passeth by it
shall be astonished, and shall hiss; and they
shall say, Why hath the LORD done thus unto this
land, and to this house?
11:38
And it shall be, if thou wilt hearken unto all
that I command thee, and wilt walk in my ways,
and do that is right in my sight, to keep
my statutes and my commandments, as David my
servant did; that I will be with thee, and build
thee a sure house, as I built for David, and
will give Israel unto thee. 39 And
I will for this afflict the seed of David, but
not for ever.
2 Kings 17:7
For
so it was, that the children of Israel
had sinned against the LORD their God, which had
brought them up out of the land of Egypt, from
under the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and had
feared other gods,
8 And walked in
the statutes of the heathen, whom the LORD cast
out from before the children of Israel, and of
the kings of Israel, which they had made.
9 And the
children of Israel did secretly those
things that were not right against the
LORD their God, and they built them high places
in all their cities, from the tower of the
watchmen to the fenced city.
10 And they set
them up images and groves in every high hill,
and under every green tree:
11 And there they
burnt incense in all the high places, as did
the heathen whom the LORD carried away before
them; and wrought wicked things to provoke the
LORD to anger:
12 For they served
idols, whereof the LORD had said unto them, Ye
shall not do this thing.
13 Yet the LORD
testified against Israel, and against Judah, by
all the prophets, and by all the seers,
saying, Turn ye from your evil ways, and keep my
commandments and my statutes, according
to all the law which I commanded your fathers,
and which I sent to you by my servants the
prophets. 14 Notwithstanding
they would not hear, but hardened their necks,
like to the neck of their fathers, that did not
believe in the LORD their God. 15 And they
rejected his statutes, and his covenant that he
made with their fathers, and his testimonies
which he testified against them; and they
followed vanity, and became vain, and went after
the heathen that were round about them,
concerning whom the LORD had charged
them, that they should not do like them.
16 And they left
all the commandments of the LORD their God, and
made them molten images, even two calves,
and made a grove, and worshipped all the host of
heaven, and served Baal. 17 And they caused their sons
and their daughters to pass through the fire,
and used divination and enchantments, and sold
themselves to do evil in the sight of the LORD,
to provoke him to anger. 18 Therefore the
LORD was very angry with Israel, and removed
them out of his sight: there was none left but
the tribe of Judah only.
19 Also Judah kept not the
commandments of the LORD their God, but walked
in the statutes of
Israel which they made.
20 And the LORD
rejected all the seed of Israel, and afflicted
them, and delivered them into the hand of
spoilers, until he had cast them out of his
sight.
21 For he rent
Israel from the house of David; and they made
Jeroboam the son of Nebat king: and Jeroboam
drave Israel from following the LORD, and made
them sin a great sin. 22 For the
children of Israel walked in all the sins of
Jeroboam which he did; they departed not from
them;
23 Until the LORD
removed Israel out of his sight, as he had said
by all his servants the prophets. So was Israel
carried away out of their own land to Assyria
unto this day.
21:7 And
he set a graven image of the grove that he had
made in the house, of which the LORD said to
David, and to Solomon his son, In this house,
and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all
tribes of Israel, will I put my name for ever:
8 Neither will I make the
feet of Israel move any more out of the land
which I gave their fathers; only if they will
observe to do according to all that I have
commanded them, and according to all the law
that my servant Moses commanded them.
Isa. 1:19 If
ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the

rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for

labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest

6:4-12 For
it is impossible for those who were once
enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly
gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,

the good word of God, and the powers of the
world to come,
6 If they shall
fall away, to renew them again unto repentance;

8 But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected,
and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is
to be burned.

we are persuaded better things of you, and
things that accompany salvation, though we thus

10 For God is
not unrighteous to forget your work and labour
of love, which ye have shewed toward his name,
in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do
minister.
11 And we desire
that every one of you do shew the same diligence
to the full assurance of hope unto the end:
12 That ye be not
slothful, but followers of them who through
faith and patience inherit the Heb.

By the which will we are sanctified through the
offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for
all.

priest standeth daily ministering and offering
oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never
take away sins:
12 But this man,
after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for
ever, sat down on the right hand of God;
13 From henceforth
expecting till his enemies be made his

offering he hath perfected for ever them that
are sanctified.
15 Whereof
the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for

the covenant that I will make with them after

into their hearts, and in their minds will I

and iniquities will I remember no more.
18 Now where
remission of these is, there is no more
offering for sin.
19 Having
therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the
holiest by the blood of Jesus,
20 By a new and
living way, which he hath consecrated for us,
through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;
21 And having
an high priest over the house of God;
22 Let us draw
near with a true heart in full assurance of
faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil
conscience, and our bodies washed with pure
water.
23 Let us hold
fast the profession of our faith without
wavering; (for he is faithful that
promised;)
24 And let us
consider one another to provoke unto love and to
good works:
25 Not forsaking
the assembling of ourselves together, as the
manner of some is; but exhorting one
another: and so much the more, as ye see the
day approaching.
26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the
knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more
sacrifice for sins,
27 But a certain
fearful looking for of judgment and fiery
indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
28 He that
despised Moses' law died without mercy under two
or three witnesses:
29 Of how much
sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be
thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the
Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the
covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy
thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of
grace?
30 For we know him
that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto
me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And
again, The Lord shall judge his people.
31 It is a
fearful thing to fall into the hands of the
living God.
32 But call to
remembrance the former days, in which, after ye
were illuminated, ye endured a great fight of
afflictions;
33 Partly, whilst
ye were made a gazing stock both by reproaches
and afflictions; and partly, whilst ye became
companions of them that were so used.
34 For ye had
compassion of me in my bonds, and took joyfully
the spoiling of your goods, knowing in
yourselves that ye have in heaven a better and
an enduring substance.
35 Cast not away
therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.
36 For ye have
need of patience, that, after ye have done the
will of God, ye might receive the promise.
37 For yet a
little while, and he that shall come will come,
and will not tarry.
38 Now the just
shall live by faith: but if any man draw
back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
39 But we are not of them who draw back unto
perdition; but of them that believe to the
saving of the soul.
2 Pet. 2:20
For if after they have escaped the pollutions of
the world through the knowledge of the Lord and
Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled
therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse
with them than the beginning.
21 For it had been
better for them not to have known the way of
righteousness, than, after they have known it,
to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto
them.
22 But it is happened unto
them according to the true proverb, The dog
is turned to his own vomit again; and the
sow that was washed to her wallowing in the
mire.
John
15:1
I am the true vine, and my
Father is the husbandman.
2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every
branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it,
that it may bring forth more fruit.

Now ye are clean through the word which I
have spoken unto you.
4 Abide in me, and I in you.
As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself,
except it abide in the vine; no more can ye,
except ye abide in me.
5 I am the vine, ye are
the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in
him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for
without me ye can do nothing.
6 If a man abide not in me,
he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered;
and men gather them, and cast them into
the fire, and they are burned.
Heaven and hell are in
our choices. We are His very own children and IN
CHRIST JESUS we have an inheritance to enjoy. We
have been adopted into His family IF we accept
His CONDITIONS. We are
the children of God as He has ADOPTED us into
His family if we accept His CONDITIONS. The act
of adoption gives us all the rights and
privileges of a son and daughter. ADOPTION takes
place at the new birth (John 1:12
But as many as received him, to them gave he
power to become the sons of God, even to
them that believe on his name: 3:5; Rom.
8:14-16). As the legal work of ADOPTION was done
on the cross when Christ paid the debt of sin
and redeemed men to God by His own blood (John
19:30;When Jesus therefore
had received the vinegar, he said, It is
finished: and he bowed his
head, and gave up the ghost.
Eph. 1:7; In whom we have redemption through his
blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the
riches of his grace; I Pet. 1:18-23
Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed
with corruptible things, as silver and
gold, from your vain conversation received
by tradition from your fathers;
19
But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a
lamb without blemish and without spot:
20 Who verily was
foreordained before the foundation of the world,
but was manifest in these last times for you,
21 Who by him do believe in
God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave
him glory; that your faith and hope might be in
God.
22 Seeing ye have purified
your souls in obeying the truth through the
Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren,
see that ye love one another with a pure
heart fervently:
23 Being born again, not of
corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the
word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
At the time of
ADOPTION we receive the parental care of our
Father God. (Heb. 12:5-12And ye
have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh
unto you as unto children, My son, despise not
thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when
thou art rebuked of him:
6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth,
and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
7 If ye endure chastening,
God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son
is he whom the father chasteneth not?
8 But if ye be without
chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then
are ye bastards, and not sons.
9 Furthermore we have had
fathers of our flesh which corrected us,
and we gave them reverence: shall we not
much rather be in subjection unto the Father of
spirits, and live?
10 For they verily for a
few days chastened us after their own
pleasure; but he for our profit, that
we might be partakers of his holiness.
11 Now no chastening for
the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous:
nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable
fruit of righteousness unto them which are
exercised thereby.
12 Wherefore lift up the
hands which hang down, and the feeble knees;

spiritual law of obedience. Go

you in time past, that they which do such

That ye be not slothful, but followers of them
who through faith and patience inherit the

And for this cause he is the mediator of the new
testament, that by means of death, for the
redemption of the transgressions that were
under the first testament, they which are called
might receive the promise of eternal
inheritance. Eph. 5:5
For we through the
Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by
faith. I Pet. 1:4 To
an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and
that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for
you, Rev. 21:7)
He that overcometh
shall inherit all things; and I will be his God,
and he shall be my son.
Our
lives should become a reflection of His. Our
words should bless all that here them. We
should shine as a light into the darkness of
this world. As we make the thoughts and
actions to become the Lord's, so shall we
enjoy all that is promised in His word. My
people are destroyed for lack of knowledge:
because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will
reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to
me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy
God, I will also forget thy children. (Hosea
4:6 My
