"Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours." Mark 11:24

The Power of Prayer

Think about this power, there is none stronger.

PRAYER POWER

I almost lost a precious friend,
God nearly took her home.
How I pleaded, how I begged,
How I prayed He would postpone.

God had His very hand on her,
And, of course, God's claims come first.
But, He was bombarded with requests,
To leave her here on earth.

So God, I think, had second thoughts,
He saw she was loved so much.
He smiled then, upon my friend,
And released His gentle clutch.

So many prayers were said for her,
God decided He would wait
He has not changed the destination,
He has merely changed the date.

The Greatest Prayer

The greatest prayer that I can pray,

For any man I know.

Is health for him in every way,

As his wealth on earth below.

A healthy body, certainly,

A healthy mind, of course.

A healthy love, assuredly,

A healthy spiritual source.

If, however, God sees fit,

To hamper any one.

May man's body first be smit,

For that, man just may overcome.

Should God tamper with man's mind,

With that, too, man may adjust.

And if He's feeling so inclined,

God may alter love for us.

But I pray that spiritual health,

As so generously given.

Remain as man's most unchanged wealth,

'Til man sits with Him in heaven.

Prayer, what a wonderful gift the Lord has given to us.   It is free, there is no charge to you,  just a short amount of your time.   Prayer has been proven to heal  the soul, body and a broken spirit.  Try it sometime and see  how your life will change.  When you are lonely you need not be, talk with the Father.  He is just a prayer away.   He will always listen to what you have to say when no  other will.  Sometimes it seems we just talk ourselves to  death and no one listens.  But the Father will  always hear  what you have to say.  When you are down and out.   Do not give up, just pray and see what happens in your life.  The Lord always answers my prayers, it may not  be this instant or tomorrow but He always answers them.   Ask and you will get your answer.   Pray!
