Mother's Promise
Cry not for me,
when I am gone,
For I'm just a breath away.
You're what I lived for, when I was here,
And there's so much left to say.
Things won't be
the same, now that we will be apart.
Just know I'll always be alive,
in a place down in your heart.
So when you're down and need someone,
Just know that I'll be there.
To listen to your every word.
And let you know
I care.
So when you walk along that road,
And no matter what you do.
There will always be a part of me,
To walk along with you.
