God picked one of His flowers today, a rose
to add to heavens bouquet. Because one single
rose was needed to make it beautiful, for all of the heavens to see.  He watched this flower grow through a life time.  Oh how did it blossom, the rose left seven buds on this earth.  The rose had came to full blossom, the growth was finished. She lived  for eighty-eight years with a life time of love around her.  This rose was the one called mother, wife, and grandmother. The rose was a gentle soul, never would she say an unkind word.  When she was happy the rose out shined them all.  She was the happiest when her children and grandchildren were around her.  Tears come to my eyes when I think of this past Christmas.  It was very different, because the children were angry with each other.  Almost a year ago, she decided to leave her house to one grandson, whom had lived with her all of his life.  Their selfishness tore the family apart, so they punished their mother by not seeing her for almost a year.  Oh, they got to see her as she lay dying, taking her last breath.  It is  too late now, they cannot get this time back.  They have to bare their own cross.  I see the pain and loss in their eye's and my heart cries out for them.  Their guilt, they will carry, the rest of their lives. When her body is laid to rest, they will never see her again, unless they give their hearts to Jesus.  She had given herself to the Lord many years ago.  This little lady was one of the sweetest that I knew, she was my dear mother-in -law.  My husband visited her almost everyday.  I am glad that he was not one of the angry ones.  She would sit patiently, waiting on her paper that he carried. We could have had it delivered, but this was a special routine which my husband loved.  Just to see that sweet little smile.  A few weeks ago, he got a chance to tell her how much he loved her, and appreciated everything she and dad had sacrificed for their children.  They grew up with no hot water in their house.  They heated by an old wooden stove.  She cooked a many of good biscuits on that old stove I was told. The old house is over 120 years old.  Of course when the children grew up, some of them help modernize it.  She loved this old house and did not want it sold.  This was one of her last wishes.  To keep this house in the family.  Never in all of her eighty-eighty years did she ever complain.  At times her life was a hardship, but she never neglected her children.  They did not know what a baby sitter was.  When our loved ones get up in age, they need not to be disrespected, they are wiser than we will ever be. I am writing this story so people can open up their eyes and see that material things mean nothing.  Family and love is one of Gods most precious gifts that He has given us.  Believe me when I say, there is very little free in this day and time. The Lord says not to accumulate earthly things.  You cannot take it to heaven with you.  Only good deeds and believing in the Lord Jesus Christ will get you into heaven.

Foot note at the bottom

              His bouquet is complete today.

A rose once grew where all could see,
sheltered beside a garden wall.
And, as the days passed swiftly by,
it spread its branches, straight and tall.
One day, a beam of light shone through,
a crevice that had opened wide.
The rose bent gently toward its warmth,
then passed to the other side.
Now, you who deeply feel its loss,
be comforted the rose blooms there.
Its beauty even greater now,
nurtured by Gods own loving care.

Dear Heavenly Father, I pray that you will help heal this family and all the families that are like this one.

In You Holy Name, In Jesus Christ I Pray.

Family torn apart

One of her daughters , last words were hateful and cursed her mother.  She moved out of town.  Her very words  were; I am changing my name, she was no longer a part of the family, and she hated all of us.  I cannot not understand how someone, can disrespect their parents this way.  She is not a child.  It is a shame that peoples hearts can be so filled with hate.  Just be so empty.  The devil is here, people put material things above family and friends.  I had words with her, and  I asked God to forgive me, I will  continue to pray for this sister-in-law.  Her heart is full of hate, she did not attend her mothers funeral. However she attended the viewing, she did put on a good show.  Whether it was, to hide her hurt, grief, or guilt, I cannot say.  Only God knows the real truth on how she feels.  I have added her to our prayer page, please pray for her.  One of the brothers has come back to the family.  His eyes were opened, he said material things mean nothing, when there is no love or family to share it with. The three children remain distant and the grandchildren.  It is a shame when there used to be so much love. We will miss the happy times at the old house together. I am writing this story so people will see, what they can do to a family.  It hits home especially when it is in your own family.  Please open your eyes, without love and the love of Jesus there is nothing.   God Bless You.

Please everyone pray for this family we need Gods love and guidance.  Your opinions are appreciated.
