JUST FOR ME

JUST FOR ME

Can't I just sit quietly,

Knowing He is there?

Do I always need to ask,

For something with my prayer?

Can't I just enjoy Him,

The good company He provides.

Just feel His presence near me,

Sit back and close my eyes?

Cant I just absorb His love,

Feel His warmth around me?

Just silently communicate,

And know that He has found me?

I know I need to share my Lord,

But, can't I selfish be.

If only for a little while,

And keep Him just for me?
