Lord, let me take a walk with you,
That I may see the suffering which I put you through.
Lord, the pain and suffering that should have been mine,
You have interceded for me, countless times.
Lord, help me to understand the power of your love,
And the compassion and mercy of God above.
Lord, as we walk along this road together,
Help me to reaffirm and to always remember.
Lord, it was you, who paid for my sins,
So that I would have a chance, to be righteous once again.
Lord, if I stray from your straight and narrow,
Then let me walk with you, again tomorrow.
Lord, I ask this and so much more,
Because your great love for me,
has reopened Heaven's door.
