Jesus Rides The Choo Choo Train

My uncle rides the Choo Choo train,
He rides most every day.
He doesn't ride it for the fun,
He rides to earn his pay.

He's ridden it for quite some time,
Up and down the track.
It sometimes takes him out of town,
But always brings him back.

Now, there's another train he rides,
It doesn't have a track.
It only goes one way you see,
And will not bring him back.

My uncle rides the train of life,
He rides this train for free.
He boards it every morning,
On his knees at Calvary.

This train rolls on to glory,
Never looking back.
It follows God's eternal light,
It doesn't need a track.

No one buys a ticket,
To climb aboard this train.
Christ already paid the fare,
The day that He was slain.

My uncle didn't always ride,
This train to Victory.
But then one day the Savior called,
And said "Come ride with me".

My uncle had to make his choice,
To die or be set free.
So he turned his back on death and hell,
And claimed the Victory.

Now Jesus rides the Choo Choo train,
With my uncle every day.
My uncle has to switch the cars,
While Jesus lights the way.

    Thank You Lord.
