Answered Prayer
Jesus Christ lives in my heart,
I should have let Him from the start.
But I was blind and could not see,
That He would light my paths for me.
Someone prayed He'd save my soul,
That I'd repent and be made whole.
An answered prayer from God above,
Has given Jesus Christ my love.
My life is not the same these days,
The God of love has changed my ways.
The Lord has taken me apart,
He's cleaned the stains within my heart.
He's filled my life with blessings too,
And changed the things I want to do.
No longer broken, torn apart,
The peace of God dwells in my heart.
I have that comfort from above,
Of knowing God and feeling love.
You'll never know just what I feel,
Until you know my God so real.
I had a void inside my soul,
It took the Lord to make me whole.
I thank you God for being there,
I thank you God for answered prayer.

Lord.
