Rescue me Lord,
Hold me in your love.
Wrap your arms around me,
From your home above.

Though I am burdened down,
I will trust in you.
You and you alone Lord,
To reach out and help me through.

All the pain and heartaches,
That have come into my life.
Lord I ask that you walk with me,
Through all of this pain and strife.

When you see the tears.
Falling from my eyes.
Reach over and gently brush them,
And help me not to cry.

I know that you are here with me,
And I know how much you care.
Lord please don't keep me waiting long,
I have so much to bear.
