Heavenly Father I lift up David to
you in prayer. He is twenty years old and
severely disabled. He has many things wrong with
him, he is scheduled for the third time in three
months for hip displacement surgery to relieve
constant pain form dislocated hips and
contractures in his legs. They will be removing
his hip-balls and bone about three inches down
each leg, it is the only thing left that the
doctors can do for him to relieve the severe
pain. He is so young, yet he has endured a so
much pain and suffering in his life. Lord I ask
that you wrap David in your arms of love. I ask
that you draw him close to you. I ask that you
cover him with your healing power from above. I
ask that you remove any pain and discomfort that
he may be having. I come before your Heavenly
Throne on his behalf and I ask that you guide
the surgeons hands and bring him safely through
surgery, free from complications, completely
healed. I ask that you give comfort to his
mother lonnisue and loved ones as they await the
outcome. I ask that you draw each one close to
you. I ask that a GOOD REPORT be given. I
ask for a speedy recovery. I ask in the name of
Jesus. Amen.
Update 2/6/03
Hi Charlotte, David is pretty sick. He has been
fighting for a good breath since Tuesday and he
is becoming tired, I am taking him back to the
hospital today and praying for the Lord's divine
healing swiftly and that whatever the treatment
for Dave is going to be that it can be done by
myself and his dad at home. Please join us in
praying. Love to you lonnisue
Update 2/8/03
I
am sorry I have not been on the computer until
this afternoon. Praise our Heavenly Father they
let me bring David home again on Thursday with
schedule of treatment that has been pretty time
and energy consuming. I am almost a little
hesitant to say that I think he has turned the
corner more towards recovery than becoming
worse. He is pretty sore from percussion every
two hours on his chest and back and tired from
having either a breathing treatment, meds,
suctioning, or the percussion around the
clock but he has actually given me a couple of
small but hopeful smiles this morning and he is
still at home!!!! I have actually felt God so
strong throughout this episode. Every time I
feel tired or the devil tries to plant a seed of
worry I actually can feel the Peace of Our Lord
push it all away!! This is definitely a first
for us. David has never become this full of
fluids without requiring hospitalization. He
has never been this sick without a severe
infection somewhere. The hospital is such a bad
place for him and I have to quote the nurses
when they check his breathing sometimes, they
either say" I'm seeing it but not believing it"
(which means they don't believe which ever
monitor they are looking at), or "I'm seeing it
and believing it", which is what I am doing. I
am actually seeing God's work through myself and
David with this illness like I have never done
before. I won't know for sure until tomorrow
morning when we take him back for more chest
x-rays if we have kept this from the lower
regions of his lungs but for him to give me
those two little smiles tells me he is fighting
right along with us which is a good sign. I am
so THANKFUL to Our Lord God and our prayer
family. I still have to keep Dave on his
schedule so right now I should be resting with
him instead of on the computer but you know
something?? I really miss you guys but I have
felt all of your prayers for us. Every single
one and I love you and everyone for them. I will
get back to you in a day or so.
Thank You, God Bless You, We Love You
David and lonnisue
Update 1/25/03
Hi everyone. Our love and the
Lord's blessings to each of you, as you know
David has just come through a very miserable
illness 100%. We were prepared for his hip
surgery on March 17th, then we received a call
yesterday, David's surgery has been bumped
again until the first week in April. There is
another very sweet little boy who needs his
surgery ASAP so that he may reap all the
benefits of having the procedure at a young age
(6) which include possibilities that were never
an option for Dave. I had every intention
to argue down anyone or anything that would
change the surgery date for David, but as soon
as I heard that there was a child that this
surgery could be a miracle for, I cried out my
frustration and cried thankful tears also, that
it was God's will to work through this little
boy and God's time for him. I am waiting for the
nurse to get back to me if this child's parents
will let me have his name and age and them mine
so that I can post prayer request for him. The
Good Lord has again shown me that this is not
the time for David so we will just keep
waiting!! I know I sound a little disappointed
and truthfully I am but it is all going to work
out IN GOD'S TIME! As soon as I get a name for
this little boy I will be bringing him to all of
you for prayer, in the mean time keep David in
your hearts for continued good health until his
surgery! My love to you all lonnisue
Update 3/26/03
Hi everybody! I want to update everyone
on my son David. His surgery is scheduled for
March 7th. That gives me twelve days to put 3.5
pounds on him (doctors orders) so I will be off
the computer for a day or two until I can get
him regulated on twenty-four hour feedings.
Please pray for the Lord's guidance and
direction for me as I administer to David, pray
for him to thrive and for illness to stay away
from us so that he makes this surgery date. I
will be praying for all of your prayer needs,
for our military, our president, injured
military, POW's, all of their families, and for
a swift end to this war. My love to you
as well as the Lord's blessings
Love and God Bless You!

Update 4/4/03
Hello to each one of you! Well, the day
has finally arrived for my son David to have his
surgery. Everything is finalized and we should
he should be in surgery by 8:30 A.M. on Monday.
This is such a blessing to finally be getting
through this. Please keep us in prayer over the
weekend and especially Monday during surgery-me
for the Lord's love and peace to be worn by me
like a shield to keep Satan from trying to
bother me with worry and anxiety. David, for
guidance and direction and skill to be imparted
on his surgeons, the anesthesiologist and nurses
by our Heavenly Lord. For a safe, uneventful,
successful procedure and for Heavenly monitoring
and management of his pain during surgery and
his recovery. Since I can't have any of you with
me during this and won't even be able to get on
the computer with you I am printing every reply
(again-remember this is the third try!) and
bringing you all with me that way! and I will
be including everyone in my hourly praying!
Also I won't be on the computer at all until
David gets out of the hospital. Yes, I am one
of those mothers that never leave the hospital
and probably am on every nurses hit list at the
end of it all. I will keep you all posted as I
will have to come home every couple of days at
least long enough to check on my daughter and
grand kids which could also use prayer that the
lord watch over them and keep them all okay. I
am so very Thankful that our God is an AWESOME
God and can do so many things in so many places
just through prayer! So-Love to you all and the
Lord's blessings also. Please send this
everywhere!
Love and God Bless You! lonnisue & David
Update 4/11/03
Hello Everyone!
I have a very major BIG praise report and update
on David. It has been only five days since his
surgery and we are at home!! Yep! At Home! All
our many prayers were most definitely answered
by Our AWESOME most HEAVENLY FATHER!
Everything went wonderfully. All Glory to God!
Not one single hitch. No breathing problems, no
pneumonia, not one single bad thing. I am truly
amazed, at this truly great act of Love Our Lord
has shown for my David. And Thankful? You
Bet." The Lord is my strength, and my shield; my
heart trusts in Him, and I am helped......"
Psalm 28:7 NIV. The best thing was yesterday
when David sat up in a chair without pain. It
was so heart warming to see him actually sitting
up, relaxed and content, no grimacing in pain or
fidgeting and fussing because his hips hurt him
so. I have no words that come close to
expressing how thankful to Our Lord and to all
of you I am.
We still have to keep a close watch for any kind
of infection and I look to the Lord to help us
with that too! I will be away from the computer
for a few more days, sitting right next to my
son as he heals. Thanking Our Lord with every
breath for yet another in the many, acts of Love
He has shown us. My Love and the Lord's
Blessings to all of you.
Love and God Bless You!
lonnisue and David.
Update 4/16/03
David seems to be having a problem, we are not
sure if it is an intestinal slowing or blockage
from pain meds or something else. I wish
he could talk to me but he can't so I am
asking for prayer that Our Heavenly Father who
knows exactly what the matter is, guide and
direct me and or the doctor's to the source
quickly and through us with Him resolve it and
continue to keep a healing hand on David. Thank
You all. David is actually doing real well after
his surgery except for this, which has not
actually developed into a problem but it is
causing discomfort for him Love to
you. lonnisue.
Update 4/24/03
Hi
Everybody!My
love and the Lord's Blessings to each of you.
Just want
to give you an update on my
son David. He had the staples removed from his
incisions today! He is really doing so much
better than I ever imagined and has through this
whole thing!
Yesterday he straightened his legs by himself
for the first time since surgery or even the
first time in over three years. I wish you all
could have seen his eyes get so wide with
surprise and wonder at this! It filled me with
so much love for our Lord Jesus that this look
on my sons face was His will. We have had David
fitted for a new wheelchair! He asks (demands!)
with frequent loud noises and head nods to get
up in his chair and is happy just being pushed
from room to room in the house! He enjoys the
two hours of driving to and from the doctors
sitting in a regular car seat and looking out
the window at all the cars on the freeway. He
is a little frightened of the big rigs!) All
without the severe pain that his legs had caused
him for so many years. Tomorrow will be his
first tub bath without pain! And I know that
look of surprise will be there and it is slowly
turning to one of understanding as I keep
telling "see God fixed your legs". I have to
tell you all that your prayers and kind words
were not wasted by me. I have a huge (3-4 inch
tall) stack of replies to all my requests. If
it weren't for your support I would not have
been as strong as I have needed to be for David.
I love you all and I pray so very hard that the
Lord hears and answers your every prayer needs
swiftly. Love and Blessings lonnsiue
Update
2/19/05
My
son David has been in the hospital for eight
days now with pneumonia, the complications are
adding up almost daily. His condition is
critical. I have come home for a nights of
sleep, I am exhausted but I needed to get this
out to you all before I attempt to rest.
Please storm the Heavens that God's will be to
heal David. Thank you in advance, you all are
my support. Your prayers are coveted and a
great source of comfort to me especially now
when I am at my weakest. Much love lonnisue
Update
2/22/05
Prayers please. They
found a bleeding ulcer in Dave's stomach
this morning. He is losing so much weight
and we can't feed him until they place a
tube. God's knowledge, skill, healing needed
desperately. Also this is a particularly
awful time at the hospital so many very sick
with pneumonia, most with no immune systems
to speak of. Lots of Grandmas and grandpas
going to be with Our Heavenly Father, lots
of bereaved, and of course the children and
babies, husbands, wife's, moms, and dads.
Apparently this is the close of the flu
season and it is taking its toll. Please
also lift up all the nurses, doctors, aides,
volunteers and all the care givers. They
are really working so hard and many with
there own struggles besides. Love to you all
and know that you are all in my thoughts and
prayers. One more request for a very special
lady across the hall from us, she has
leukemia and she is having side affects from
treatment she also has pneumonia. I don't
know her name, I can only speak to her from
outside her door as I have a cold and anyone
sick or not disinfected cannot be around
her. God bless You all and thank you

Heavenly Father I lift up Jean to
you in prayer. She is in the Intensive care Unit
at William Beaumont Hospital. She is now in
acute kidney failure. She had a pace maker put
in on January 7th, everything went fine. On
January 17th, she was rushed to the emergency
room as her cumadine (blood thinner) levels were
extremely dangerous (too high). They stabilized
that and discovered that her hemoglobin levels
were too low. She was given a transfusion and
her husband was told that he could take her
home. She then started vomiting, they gave her a
shot to combat that and sent her home. Her
husband tried to take care of her the best he
could, her six children tried their best to
help. By the following Wednesday, she still
could not eat and was extremely weak. Her
husband and daughter Robin took her to her
hemoglobin doctor, he took one look at her and
sent them over to the emergency! room. Jean was
admitted and the tests began. Very strangely,
her face began to fill with fluid and her liver
enzymes were very high. By Saturday, she was in
such acute abdominal pain, they decided they had
to do emergency exploratory surgery. This
happened at 11:00 p.m. The good news is that
the worst fears of conditions such as a
perforated bowel were ruled out. The surgery did
show that her liver was in extreme distress.
This usually happens from an auto accident or
forceful blow, a blood clot, toxic doses of
medication such as Tylenol, or Hepatitis A, B,
or C. - none of which she has had or has. Her
liver now appears to be working and the enzyme
levels have dropped to a still high 1100 as of
today's blood test. Now, the doctors are dealing
with acute kidney failure. For an unknown
reason, her kidneys have stopped functioning.
They have given her medication to try to get the
kidneys to start working, they will give more
this evening. If this does not work, they will!
start dialysis tomorrow. This is serious as her
blood pressure must be monitored, it has been
fluctuating in the low ranges. There are also
other complications. She has been sedated to
almost a coma-like state since the exploratory
surgery. She does not seem to be in pain. Her
Husband Elmer is devastated, he is still
recovering from pneumonia yet he has been at the
hospital every day for the entire visiting hours
from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Lord I ask that you
wrap Jean in your arms of love. So much has
happened to her in just a short period of time.
I ask that you cover her with your healing power
from above. I ask that you remove any pain and
discomfort that she may be having. I come before
your Heavenly Throne on her behalf, believing
that through you all things are possible and I
ask that you restore her kidneys to function
normal, I ask that her hemoglobin levels, liver
enzyme levels and blood pressure be restored to
normal ranges. I ask that you brin! g her
through this illness, free from complications,
completely healed. I ask that she be a testimony
to the doctors, medical staff, family and
friends of your healing power and of the power
of prayer. I ask that you give comfort to her
husband Elmer and children as they await the
outcome. I ask that you draw each one close to
you. I ask that a GOOD REPORT be given. I
ask for a speedy recovery. I ask for complete
healing. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Heavenly Father I lift up Bernice's
husband to you in prayer. He is sixty
years old and since 1995 he has had seven heart
attacks and two strokes, which left him
paralyzed on his right side. He can walk some
and his speech is O.K. He doesn't get out much
except for Church on Sunday nights. He works so
hard trying to do things. Bernice states "I have
to watch him suffer every day, it is heart
breaking, God has been there through every
trial, I would never make it without my
Wonderful Lord, I ask myself all the time where
does all the strength come from, it comes down
from Heaven, What a Saviour?" Lord I ask that
you warp Bernice's husband in your arms of love.
I ask that you draw him close to you. I ask that
you cover him with your healing power from
above. I ask that you remove any pain and
discomfort that he may be having. I come before
your Heavenly Throne on his behalf, believing
that through you all things are possible and I
ask that you restore his right side to move and
function as it did before he had the stroke. I
ask that he be a testimony to his doctor, family
and friends of your healing power and of the
power of prayer. I thank you for the strength
that you have given to Bernice as she cares for
her husband. What a wonderful testimony she has
given about you Lord, as she knows that her
strength is from you. What a wonderful woman
that she puts her tiredness aside and gives you
praise Lord. I ask that you wrap her in your
loving arms and comfort her with your peace that
surpasses all understanding. I ask for complete
healing. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Heavenly Father I lift up the church in Liberia
to you in prayer. Civil war continues in Liberia
bringing severe hardship, famine, beatings, and
death to pastors and saints there. At least five
members died last week in the displacement camp
from sickness and hunger. Many people are still
trapped in and around the Fassama area, some
hiding in the rain forest. Eight pastors are
unaccounted for, others have been severely
beaten. Lord I ask that you place a hedge of
protection around each and every person in the
Fassama area and those who are in hiding in the
rain forest. I ask that you provide them safe
haven from the enemy. I ask that you provide for
their needs. I ask that you place a hedge of
protection around the pastor's that are missing,

Heavenly Father I lift up Peter to
you in prayer. He had surgery in 2001 as a
result of having a brain tumor. He is
forty-eight years old, sometimes he has
migraines along with other symptoms, such as
slurred speech when he gets tired. The shunt, or
tube that was placed in his head to drain fluid
always gets plugged and that might be when the
symptoms increase, he goes back in a lot for
this to be cleared or replaced. He is
maintaining status quo for the time being until
he makes up his mind for further surgery. He is
afraid to go in as it was hard to regain his
previous status before the tumor, and the pain
is horrible. He became a Christian, (THANK
YOU LORD!) and now uses new wisdom to sit
and share with others in hospice. He is very
mellow now and compassionate. Lord I ask that
you wrap Peter in your arms of love. I thank
you for bringing him safely through surgery in
2001 and I thank you for his salvation. I ask
that you draw him close to you. I ask that you
cover him with your healing power from above. I
ask that you remove any pain and discomfort that
he may be having. If healing is to come through
more surgery, I ask that you remove any fear
that he may be having and replace it with peace
and calmness in knowing that you are with him
every step of the way. I ask that you give him
wisdom in making his decision. If it is your
will that healing come through the hands of a
surgeon, I ask that you bring him safely
through, free from complications, completely
healed. I ask that his recovery be free from the
terrible pain that he encountered the first
surgery. I pray that he will be a blessing to
those in hospice. I ask that you open their
hearts to feel, their eyes to see and their ears
to hear your wonderful love when he shares the
GOOD NEWS OF CHRIST with them. I pray
that he will be a testimony to all of your
healing power and of the power of prayer. I pray
for salvation to all who come in his path. I ask
for complete healing. I ask in the name of
Jesus. Amen.
Heavenly Father I lift up Sonya to
you in prayer. She was just diagnosed and
operated on for a brain tumor.
She
is about sixty years old and her brain tumor
seems to be malignant and the doctors said some
was left. She needs radiation and
chemotherapy. She needs to know if she will be
able to talk and walk. Sonya was a singer in a
ladies group that performed without music, her
family is worried if she will be able to return
to a normal life. Jerrilynn witnessed to them
about her brother Peter who also had a brain
tumor removed in 2001. She witnessed to them
that he is up and moving. If it is your will
Lord, she too will be able to walk and talk, but
for now, she sleeps a lot and suffers an
agitation. Lord I ask that you wrap Sonya in
your arms of love. I ask that you draw her close
to you. I ask that you remove any pain and
discomfort that she may be having. I come before
your Heavenly Throne on her behalf, believing
that through you all things are possible and I
ask that you bring her safely through, free from
complications, completely healed. I ask that you
remove the terrible side effects that may occur
because of the chemotherapy treatments. I pray
that she will be a testimony to the doctors,
medical staff, family and friends of your
healing power and of the power of prayer. I ask
that you draw her family close to you and give
them your peace that surpasses all
understanding. I ask that you give comfort to
them during this difficult time as they await
the final outcome. I ask that a GOOD REPORT
be given. I pray that this will be a time of
rejoicing and giving all PRAISE, HONOR and
GLORY to YOU. I pray that a song will be
placed on her heart as a testimony of your
healing. I thank you for Jerrilynn, that she is
there to share with Sonya's family of her
brother Peter's testimony of your healing power
and of the power of prayer. I ask for complete
healing. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.
Update 2/11/03
Hi Charlotte: It is difficult for Sonya since
her brain surgery. She is sluggish both in form
and speech. Therapy is her main type of
recuperation, and it is difficult at times. But
she is alive. We continue to ask God for long
life for her and that chemo and radiation will
remove the tumor remaining. Thank you for asking
about her and thank everyone who lifted her up
to the Lord. Please continue to pray for her.
God bless you Charlotte!
jerrilynn
Update 3/20/2003
Charlotte: Because of God, and all the prayers
for Sonya, she was saved from a lethal dosage of
morphine and other medications. My friend Sonya
had brain surgery and was sent to hospice. She
wanted to go home, when she did, a doctor at
hospice (not her family doctor), sent her home
with medications and morphine and instructions
for her family. Sonya has been very weak and
lethargic. The other day Sonya, her husband and
two daughters were baptized. The night before,
her own doctor "just happened to come over"
without being called. At that very moment,
Sonya's family was getting ready to give her
morphine. It turned out that the hospice doctors
had given instructions to over-medicate her and
gave her a deadly dosage amount of morphine five
vials of it, according to Sonya, with
instructions to inject her with one vial every
hour. The family doctor walked into the home at
the time of the injection and was shocked at
what was about to happen. He took away all the
medications. He said Sonya would have died
within hours of that injection, because the
amounts were lethal. Sonya is now up and walking
about, and talking regular. She was saved by
God from being "murdered" that night due to
malpractice. Sonya said a lawsuit will be
started soon. Thank you all for your earlier
prayers.

Heavenly Father I lift up Logan to
you in prayer. This precious little one will be
two years old in February. She has been ill a
lot since birth. Last year in February she had
tubes placed in her ears to see if that would
help her, she did good for a while. She is in
the hospital once again, this time with an upper
respirator infection. Lord I ask that you wrap
this precious little one in your arms of love. I
ask that you cover her with your healing power
from above. I come before your Heavenly Throne
on her behalf, believing that through you all
things are possible and I ask that you bring her
safely through this illness, free from
complications, completely healed. I ask that you
give comfort to her loved ones as they await the
outcome. I ask that a GOOD REPORT
be given. I ask that she be a testimony to many
who come into her path when she grows into a
young lady of your healing power and of the
power of prayer.
I pray that she will be a Godly woman and that
she will let her light shine for all to see. I
ask for complete healing. I ask in the name of
Jesus. Amen.
Update 1/23/03
They have done a lot of X-ray's on Logan. The
final results is she has RSV. I'm not sure what
that is other than it is a respiratory
infection. They will not let me go in to see
her, with the problems that I have, they are
afraid I will get sick. Thank everyone for
their prayers for her. Please continue to pray
that she will continue to improve and that she
will come out of this with no permanent lung
damage. She has been so sick her entire life.
Please pray that she will outgrow this
condition. God can restore her to perfect
health. Please continue to pray. Gene McGhee
Update 1/27/03
LOGAN IS OUT OF THE HOSPITAL, BUT STILL HAS A
LONG WAY TO RECOVERY. I AM BELIEVING GOD FOR
HER HEALING, SHE HAS BEEN USING A NEBULIZER
(BREATHING TREATMENT MACHINE) FOR A YEAR. SHE
HAD BEEN DOING GOOD FOR A WHILE, UNTIL SHE
PICKED UP THIS BUG. SHE HAS RESPIRATORY
SYNCYTIAL VIRUS. SHE IS ONLY TWO YEARS OLD, BUT
SHE IS TAKING THE SAME AMOUNT OF ALBUTEROL
SULFATE IN NEBULIZER AS I AM. I HAVE TO USE IT
EVERY FOUR HOURS, SHE USES IT TWO TIMES A DAY,
FOR WHEEZING. I WANT TO THANK EVERYONE FOR ALL
THE PRAYERS AND THE E-MAILS, NO ONE WILL KNOW
HOW WONDERFUL THE E-MAILS FROM EVERYONE PRAYING
FOR LOGAN MEANT TO ME

Update 1/28/03
My little granddaughter came over with Mom
and dad to eat, it is amazing what God has done
for this little baby. She is on a lot of
steroids and it does her the same as pop. She
was eating everything she came in contact with.
She ate really good, I was so happy, thank
everyone who prayed for her. She looked so good
after being so bad, thanks for your prayers,
there is no greater gift. Gene Mcghee
Update 1/30/03
Logan has a virus called impetigo. It is a
rash that appears on the body as small bumps.
They can come up anywhere on the body. She also
has an ear infection in her left ear. The tube
was trying to come out as normal, but the ear
got infected before the tube came out. She will
have to have another one put in. She will be
going to the pulmonary doctor for her
lungs, they want to make sure that she doesn't
have any scar tissue in the lungs. She is having
such a hard time breathing. She will have to see
the sinus doctor also. She is still battling
with the RSV virus. Thank you for all your
prayers. We serve a mighty God. Please remember
Logan in your prayers. Gene McGhee
Update 6/6/03
Logan McGhee my grand baby, has gotten so much
better they have taken her off the nebulizer,
breathing machine. She is only taking one pill
for her allergies each day now. PTL! Thanks to
all who lifted her up to the Lord in prayer.
Gene
Update 6/10/2003
Please pray for Logan. She is having to take
prednisone again. They were over this evening
and the little thing was just rattling. Please
pray for her. I know God can heal her. Thanks
again for all your prayers. Linda McGhee

Update 12/17/03
My little granddaughter is back in the hospital
again with breathing problems, her oxygen level
dropped to low 80, they have her on oxygen, she
said she was just like pop, she knows that I am
sick a lot with COPD . The nurses put her doll
pouch on oxygen to make her happy, she went into
the hospital last Monday. Please place a prayer
for her once again. God has always brought her
through, I am sure He can this time. She will be
three years old in January, it hurts to see a
little two year old as sick as this baby is.
Love, Gene Mcghee
Heavenly Father I lift up Jeff to
you in prayer. He lives in Seattle and his
mother Kit is very concerned as she cannot
locate him. She states that she is not
physically capable of making the trip there,
although if she had any idea where to find Jeff
she would definitely try. He placed a call to
her but it can't be checked because there were
two calls that came in after he made the call,
plus she had made calls also. She contacted the
telephone company's business office yesterday
and since the call was collect they will see if
they can get the record which will have the pay
phone number that he called from. Praise God
there is a lay minister in Seattle that will
help in talking with Jeff, if he is found. The
police in Seattle checked out the only telephone
number that Kit had and sent a police car to the
address. He was not there, they were told that
he had not been there for two days and they had
no idea where he may have gone. There was a
shelter that he stayed at which was also checked
out, they had not seen or heard from him for
about two months. Without an address or general
area to look the police said there was nothing
they could do. They have Kit's contact
information and a description of Jeff.
Lord I ask that you wrap Jeff in your arms of
love. I ask that you draw him close to you. I
ask that you place a hedge of protection around
him and keep him safe from harm. I ask that you
press upon his heart to call his Mom and to seek
help. I ask that you place Christians in his
path to share the GOOD NEWS OF CHRIST
with him. I ask that you open his eyes to see,
his ears to hear and his heart to feel your
wonderful love. I ask that you lead him to the
minister in Seattle who is waiting to talk with
him. I ask that you place the right words in his
mouth to be of help to Jeff, to help him turn
from his old ways and walk in the light of
Christ. I ask that you place him on the path to
righteousness. I ask that you give comfort to
Kit during this difficult time in her life. I
ask that you draw her close to you. I ask that
you lead her son safely home with a testimony on
his lips. I pray for salvation. I ask in the
name of Jesus. Amen.
Update 1/23/03
Thank you and God bless you for your
kind prayer and sending out the request. Here is
the latest. Praise God Praise God! Jeff is okay.. okay in the fact that he did not
hurt himself. His girlfriend called the
police and they took him to Providence Hospital
in Seattle Wa. I talked with him tonight and while
it was so wonderful to hear his voice.. my
heart broke to hear the anger again. I have his
girlfriend's name and number now, so I have a
contact person at least if needed in the
future. They did find he has some heart problems
and he will be followed up from what I
understand for that at Pikes Street Clinic. I
talked with the social worker and he said Jeff's
doctor was pretty definite that he was being
released tomorrow. He can not go back to the
place he was living, because there was loud
arguing over the week end. Jeff was the
one screaming cuss words and the neighbors
called the police. He was told from what I
understand he could not go back for two months.
His employer is willing to let him have his job
back on Friday. The problem is where he is
going to stay, food etc. until he gets back on his feet. Does
anyone on the Internet know any church..
outreach programs, half way houses in
Seattle that would be willing to help. Bill and
I like so many are living on social security,
and I would be willing to give up the Internet
service so I could send him that much each
month.. but that isn't going to pay for a room
and food. Surely there is a church in the
Seattle area that would be willing to reach out
and help my son. He is so needy.. especially
someone who will counsel and pray with him...
help him with his anger, and show him something
besides what he feels is so called "Christian
love." Please don't misunderstand me.. a lot
of this is Jeff's fault and he needs to see and
own up to it. I am babbling.. it's just that I
am so far away, and feel so helpless. Please if
anyone knows of a place he can stay.. please
notify me. I am to call the social worker back
by 10:00 eastern time tomorrow. Please keep
praying that God will send someone who can reach
Jeff.
God bless
Kit
Update 2/6/03
I ask your forgiveness for being so late in
responding to your wonderful prayer and
encouragement about my son Jeff. Once again,
you through God have helped me get through a
very difficult time. I am so blessed to know
you took the time to show you care. That gift
in itself is priceless and I thank you from the
bottom of my heart. May God bless you 100 fold
in return for your kindness. Jeff is doing much
better though still in a rather unstable
situation. He has his job back and is staying
at a center that is known for its wide range of
programs to help those with physical or
emotional problems. I pray he cooperates and
accepts the help they can offer. Praise God
several have my contact information, and I have
numbers also, so God has fixed it that I should
never have to go through days of feeling so
helpless because I don't know who to contact. Kit

Heavenly Father I lift up Linda to
you in prayer. Linda suffers from lupus and
states that she feels so much pain, she feels
that she is losing the battle to fight and she
is scared. She has suffered so much over the
past few years and all of the surgery's that she
has had has not helped. She has pain in her back
so bad that she is not able to stand or walk.
Lord I ask that you wrap Linda in your arms of
love. I ask that you draw her close to you. I
ask that you cover her with your healing power
from above. I ask that you remove any pain and
discomfort that she may be having. I ask that
you remove her fear and replace it with peace
and calmness in knowing that you are with her
always. I ask that you give strength to her
weakened body. I come before your Heavenly
Throne on her behalf, believing that through you
all things are possible and
I ask that you remove her pain and give complete
healing to her body. I ask that she be a
testimony to her doctor, family and friends of
your healing power and of the power of prayer. I
ask for complete healing. I ask in the name of
Jesus. Amen

prayers. Please let everyone know how much it
means to me. I got the call and its cancer, I
don't know to much yet, I will be seeing the
cancer doctor next week on Wednesday. I'll let

Update 2/13/2003
I have had all the test and everything is
back now. I have seen three doctors and they
all advise the same thing. So I have another
new experience in front of me now. On Feb 25th,
I am scheduled to have a total mastectomy. After
that there will be chemo for some time but I
don't know how much yet, we won't know until
after the surgery. I won't start the chemo until
three to four weeks after surgery. They want me
to heal some before they start. Will keep you
updated when I know more. Blessing
Update 2/20/03
Charlotte, Thank you so much my friend for all
the prayers and love I feel coming from you and
all the many Brothers and Sister who have so
much love and caring in all their emails to me.
It seems every time I start to feel down or
scared I have an email from you or one of them.
I can't tell you how much you mean to me
Charlotte we have traveled many roads together
my friend and I love you. I am very sick now so
the surgery has been postponed until March 4th.
Charlotte this is the same day Ernie went home
to our loving Father as I am sure you know,
again my friend you was there for me throughout
that very hard time in my life. Needless to say
this will be an even more of a trying day. I
just pray I am well by the 4th so I can get this
over. I can't help the feeling something is
growing like this in me. I pray and ask my
loving Father to help me with this and also the
feeling of the fear deep in my soul. Please pray
this sickness I have now goes away so I can get
this over with. Linda.

Update 3/4/03
Just
a quick note to let you know Linda's surgery
went well and she is back in a room now. Surgery
took about an hour. She didn't seem to be in to
much discomfort and the doctor said she may come
home tomorrow. Now we have to wait a few days
and see what the lab test say so we know what
the next steps are. Brian
Update 3/5/03
Just to let you all know Linda came home today
and is resting comfortable. Brian
Update 3/16/03
Linda is doing OK, she still hurts a
lot, especially her arm which is why she's not
online a lot, but otherwise OK. I'll tell her
you wrote her and are praying for her.
Brian
Update 3/28/03
Thank you for all the prayers and
love you send my way. Still not doing well with
the wound. At least three to four weeks until
we'll know if its healing, then chemo. Need lots
of prayers to get through this time.
Blessings, Linda
Update 3/31/02
Hello my Friend, its been a
long time but I have been having a really hard
time healing. The wound from surgery didn't heal
at all. I now have a very big wound in my chest,
they had to cut all the dead tissue out to get
new tissue to grow. I have to have a nurse come
two times a day to change the packing. It's just
been very hard to take all in.
Please keep me on your prayer list for healing,
so I can get on with my chemo and move on with
this part of my life.
Your friend and Sister with our Lord, Linda
Update 5/16/2003
Charlotte, I'm so sorry I haven't written you in
such a long time. I have been so sick and weak
from the wound not healing and now with chemo.
The wound still isn't healed but we had to start
the chemo because we were getting into the
danger zone with the growth of the cancer. I
will do my best to keep you up on how everything
is going. Charlotte please pray I can get
through this, I'm so weak and sick, I'm scared
its to much with everything else going on with
my health. Also please pray for my Mom who is
also so very ill with her lupus. She has been
in and out of the hospital and the doctors won't
let me up to see her with fear I could get
something there. God Bless you my friend,
I love you Linda
Update 11/19/2003
Charlotte, I'm sorry I've
taken so long to email you. I am just now
starting to get online, a little bit at a time.
This cancer has taken a lot out of me. I still
have to rest every after noon and have to go to
bed early. The doctors say this will most likely
go on for a year or more because of the lupus.
Please continue in prayer for my recovery. I
thank everyone for their prayers during and
after my surgery.
Your sister in God's name, Linda

niece. I feel so bad for her. I'm sorry I
haven't emailed you in a long time. I had to

the computer. Also I need lots of prayers for
my daughter who is six weeks pregnant and is

baby so much already. So please keep her and
the baby in your prayers. May God Bless and

Heavenly Father I lift up Rose to
you in prayer. She had a tumor as big as 3/4 of
the bladder. They removed it and the biopsy
showed that it was cancer, therefore she is
scheduled to have her bladder removed on
February 15th. Lord I ask that you wrap Rose in
your arms of love. I ask that you draw her close
to you. I ask that you cover her with your
healing power from above. I ask that you remove
any pain and discomfort that she may be having.
I ask that you prepare her mentally and
physically for her scheduled surgery. I come
before your Heavenly Throne on her behalf,
believing that through you all things are
possible and I ask that you guide the surgeons
hands.
I ask that you bring her safely through free
from complications, completely healed. I ask
that she be a testimony to the doctors, medical
staff, family and friends of your healing power
and of the power of prayer. I ask that you give
comfort to Rose and her loved ones as they await
the outcome. I ask that you draw each one close
to you. I ask that a GOOD REPORT be
given. I ask for complete healing. I ask in the
name of Jesus. Amen.
Update 2/24/03
Again
my heartfelt thanks to all who lifted my Aunt
Rose up to the Lord in prayer. She was operated
on Wednesday. They removed the bladder that they
had removed a tumor from a month before that was
cancer. They also gave her a hysterectomy in
case there was any trace of cancer there. She
doesn't know much yet on the testing of these,
but she said she is in less pain then before.
The morning of the operation she was so gray and
had been turning that for some time but her
color is back. She thanks you and so do, thank
you so very much for all your prayers.
God Bless and many thanks

Heavenly Father I lift up Mike
to you in prayer. He has some very serious liver
problems. His sister-in-law states that he is
not aware of how close to death he is, the
doctors have not told him yet. Lord I ask that
you wrap Mike in your arms of love.
I ask that you draw him close to you. I ask that
you cover him with your healing power from
above. I ask that you remove any pain and
discomfort that he may be having. The doctors
have done for him all that they can do
medically, therefore I come before your Heavenly
Throne on his behalf, believing that through you
all things are possible and I ask for miraculous
healing. I ask that he be a testimony to the
doctors, medical staff, family and friends of
your healing power and of the power of prayer. I

share the GOOD NEWS OF CHRIST with him. I ask
that you open his ears to hear, his eyes to see

you. If it is not your will to heal him then I
ask for mercy and that you give the family
strength to accept your will. I ask in the name
of Jesus. Amen.
Update 1/28/03
They were able to operate. He is breathing
on his own. He will be sent down to the med surg floor as soon as a bed is available. They
will keep him in the hospital a few days after
that, then he will be coming home. Praise
the Lord! It will be quite an adjustment
when he gets home, but the Lord will work that
out as well. THANK YOU and all of the others
that have prayed for him. I never thought I
would ever go online and ask for prayer but,
when you feel that you can't pray enough and you
have to touch the hem of his garments. You call
out. I thank you and the other prayer warriors
for being there. Sister Barbara Neff
Heavenly Father lift up David, Kristen,
Myles, Gabe, BJ, nanny, and Sandy to you in
prayer. Kristen will not be able to return to
school until Gabe is cleared by a doctor to
return to daycare. Little Gabe is at the
doctor's now. Sandy's husband David couldn't
finish his shift last night and came home sick
from work. Lord I ask that you wrap this family
in your arms of love. I ask that you draw each
one close to you. I ask that you cover them with
your healing power from above, I ask that you
remove any pain and discomfort that they may be
having. I ask that you give healing and strength
to each one. I ask that you see them safely
through this illness, free from complications
completely healed. I ask that Gabe receive a
GOOD REPORT and that he can return to
daycare. I ask for a speedy recovery. I ask in
the name of Jesus. Amen.
Update 1/21/03
I am humbled and so grateful for the
replies I have received for prayer request for
my family's healing. Thank you so much for your
prayers. The doctor prescribed liquid albuterol
for Gabe. It helped his wheezing somewhat. He
has been so much better today than in the last
several days. No constant screaming. He was a
bit fussy this evening but nothing compared to
how he has been recently. Praise the Lord!! The
doctor said he may return to daycare when he
stops wheezing and has no fever. Kristen plans
to stay home with him at least tomorrow. The
medicine may have played a part in his getting
better, but he's been on medications for almost
a month, and it hasn't helped. I know his
improved condition is an answer to prayer.
Please keep us in your prayers. As Kristen says,
we need the 24-hr dose. Sandy
Update 1/24/04
Update on family:
Gabe is doing much better. He was supposed to go
to the doctor again today, but
Myles and Kristen did not take him out in this
10 degree cold. Kristen has gone to school only
one day in two weeks. I do not know how she is
going to be able to catch up. Please continue to
keep her in your prayers. BJ has been out of
school sick for the last three days. As a praise
report I would like to thank God for all he has
done for me in this last year. Today is my
birthday and on this day last year I felt so
hopeless and depressed that I considered ending
my life. Maybe it was wrong but I asked God to
send me hope by midnight. He did. The Lord has
worked wonderful headings in my life since then.
Today is also my anniversary. Last year this
time, my husband and I were separated, and the
only reason we weren't divorced was because I
didn't have any money. Praise God that he has
restored my marriage, and it is better and
stronger than ever before.
Yours humbly in Christ,
Sandy

Heavenly Father I lift up Patty to
you in prayer. She is going through a rough time
in her life right now both emotionally and
physically. She feels alone and alienated from
her son and stepdaughter, she is very depressed
and feeling like an outcast. Her doctor told her
that he feels she is having an emotional
breakdown and prescribed antidepressants and
medications for anxiety attacks. She had been
having up to four and five anxiety attacks a day
which have now decreased to about one a
week. She had been feeling better the past few
weeks since she was paced on medication, a few
days ago she had a relapse due to running out
of medication. She has no health insurance and
has not worked for the past two years due to a
back injury and degenerative disk disease in her
lower lumbar, which is pinching on her sciatic
nerve. She had money in the bank from the sale
of her home and was going to use that money for
a down payment on another house but
unfortunately, she has had to live on that money
due to being unemployed. She applied for social
security but was denied even through she had a
MRI done proving her condition and a note from
her doctor. She needs back surgery desperately,
medications for depression and anxiety attacks
and cannot afford to go to the doctor. Her son
and step daughter do not want to talk to her
because of her depression. Their father shot
himself in the head in front of her and blew
half his head off a little over twenty years
ago, this tragedy has a lot to do with her
depression, she was thirty three at the time as
her husband was also her age. The memory
remains very vivid in her mind. She is feeling
suicidal due to a very hurtful remark made by
her son to her during a telephone conversation.
She states "I do not want to die, but I cannot
take the pain, emotionally, physically or
mentally anymore. I have lost my will to live."
Father I feel this woman's pain. You know all
that I have experienced in my life and all that
I am still going through, who better to
sympathize with her situation than I. One thing
that I know for sure is that it is through You
that I can and will go on and it is through You
that she will and can go on. You are our
shelter, our rock in times of trouble. Lord I
ask that you wrap Patty in your precious arms of
love. I ask that you allow her to feel your
presence. I ask that you comfort her and fill
her with peace that surpasses all understanding.
I ask that you remove all thoughts of suicide. I
ask that you cover her with your healing power
from above. I ask that you comfort her and
remove any pain and discomfort she may b |
