Lord I thank you for my daughter,
She is special in every way.
When I'm feeling stressed in life,
She always brightens up my day.
The joy that she has brought to me,
Is more than words could express.
Her smile, her laughter, her kindness,
Helps to take away the stress.
I am so happy that she's a Christian,
And she knows of Jesus Love.
Keep her in your care Lord,
Watch over her from above.
I love to see her read the Bible,
And it brings me joy to hear her pray.
And when I see her raise her hands in praise.
I am inspired more than words can say
I thank you for her salvation,
And I thank you for mine too.
Together we will walk,
Hand and hand with you.
