Jesus is
the happiness in my life,
During these times of troubles and strife.
I look at the world and it's troubling to me,
Not many good things do I hear or my eyes see.
I'd
like to turn the radio on,
And hear joyous music filling the air.
Instead it's mostly filled with hate and despair.
Words filled with hate, sex and suicide,
Are these words becoming our children’s guide?
God
look down upon us in a world
filled with disarray.
As people just go about their lives each day.
May you open their eyes to see?
What a mess the future of their
children is going to be,
With all things past and the future in mind.
May
they see an image of the coming time?
God we call upon you, you are always there.
Help us as Christians the love of Jesus to share.
If they don't stop what they are
doing and cast out sin.
Show them their future and how it will end.
Waken them Dear Lord, and show them the way.
Give them an image of the coming day.
Like in the day of Moses with the world in
Darkness, three days without light.
Maybe
this is what it will take to steer them right.
Something has to happen Lord,
to show them the way.
Cast upon us darkness that will also fill our day.
Maybe they will come out of the
darkness into the light.
With a glorious awakening and a better insight.
