Lord, some
days in life just aren't easy,
So very difficult to make it through.
This is when we need to lay our burdens down,
And place our trust in You.
Sometimes when we feel so overloaded,
And our burdens are more than we can bear.
We have to lay them at your feet Lord,
And leave them in your care.
You are always there,
To reach out your arms of love.
To help us make it through each day,
From your home above.
Help us make it through,
The stressful days of life.
Give us the strength that we need,
To get through all the strife.
Help us not to fight back,
When unkind words are said.
Just help us to walk away,
By your hand may we be led.
Unkind words can reach down,
To the very core of your heart.
And bring on tears of sadness,
And rip your life apart.
For those who mistreat us Lord,
Draw them close to you.
Replace their hearts with hearts of love,
In everything they say and do.
