Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. Matthew 5:4    Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. Matthew 5:4

Richard Baily was a minister and evangelist of God's word,
He made sure that the Gospel of Christ was heard,
He witnessed and preached far and wide
And the Lord walked always close by his side.

He had bouts with six different types of cancer and he never complained,
He knew that one day he would be free of suffering, free of pain.
He saw a light the morning before he was taken to the heavens above,
Was it the light of God's eternal love?

Yes, God sent His angels of love to comfort him,
Before He took him to heaven where life never ends.
If he could speak to his family these are the words that he might say,
Dearest loved ones from you I am never far away.

When you want me just look inside of your heart
For I am with you always, we are never far apart,
It is not good-bye but until we meet again,
Here in God's home where life shall never end.

This poem is dedicated to the memory of Pastor Richard Baily, minister and evangelist. He went to be with our Lord on April 12, 2002. He had six different types of cancer and never complained. He loved everyone.  On a blank white wall the night before the Lord took him he saw a light three different times. He ask his wife if she saw it, her answer was no. Early that same morning he went peacefully in his sleep.  He was much loved and is missed deeply by his wife Alice. She has assurance and knows beyond a shadow of a doubt that Richard is in heaven.

Lester and Katheryn Ford are with our Lord above,
When their time here on earth was over He was there
to meet them with outstretched arms of love.
Lester was the first of the two to enter in to be with Him forever more,
Hand in hand they now walk together upon God's peaceful shore.

I know that their children did not get to say good-bye to them,
But it is not good-bye dear loved ones, but until you meet
with them again In God's eternal home where life shall never end.
When your life here on earth is over,
He will bring you to His home above,
There Lester and Katheryn will be waiting for you
with outstretched arms of love.

From your precious parents you will never be far away,
For their love they left her with you to last you all of your days.
So until then hold onto their memories and hold onto their precious love,
Until you meet with them again in Heaven up above.

Never forget the Love for the Lord that you mother instilled in you,
Live your life for Him in all that you say and do.
Love Him with all of your heart, your soul and your mind,
Love as He would and always be kind.

I dedicate this poem to the memories of
Lester and Katheryn Ford. They were married for fifty years.
The Lord took Lester in April of 1996 and Katheryn
on September 12, 2001. They now have life eternal.

David Wayne McQuinley now resides with our Lord above,
He was there to meet him with outstretched arms of love.
Dear and precious mother who gave birth to your son
Please find comfort in knowing that he is with the one.

The one and only, who knew him before
he was placed in your womb,
The one and only who lives again, and arose from the tomb.
The one who gave his life that your sons would never end,
It's because of His great love that you will see your son again.

So dear, precious mother when you are sad and you cry,
Please look for comfort in Jesus and he will
wipe the tears from your eyes.
Until your life here on earth comes to an end
Please find comfort in knowing that you will
see your son again.

If he could speak from heaven these are
the words that he might say,
Do not grieve for me my dear mother,
for I will see you again someday.
When your life is over there,
and you return to God above,
I'll be waiting here for you with
outstretched arms of love.

Troy was called to heaven to be with our Lord above,
He left behind fond memories and he left you with his love.
Hold onto that love until you meet with him again,
In God's eternal home where life shall never end.

When you are saddened ask God to comfort you,
He will be there always, He will see you through.
See you through the sad times when you are
 missing your precious boy,
The son, that He blessed you with who
brought you so much joy.

Feel joy in knowing that he is with our Lord above,
Surrounded by Heaven's beauty, filled with God's love.
May God bless and keep you always in his loving care,
When you mourn for your precious son that you loved so dear.

Remember too God's precious son, that he gave to you and me,
Jesus our Lord and Savior who died upon the cross at Calvary.
For it is through that love that we have life again,
Cleansed by his precious blood, forgiven of our sins.

Pastor Pat
February 23, 2003

Family and friends gathered not to say good-bye
to Pastor Pat but until we meet again,
In God's eternal home, where life shall never end.
Laurel Grove is where his ministry began,
Preaching God's word brought great
joy to this devout man.

This same location is where he loved to go and prayer,
For this is where he found blissful peace
in the quiet of the day.
The quaint little Church there was build of stone,
It had stained glass windows and became his home.

Every Sunday morning he would be there,
Equipped with the word of God to share.
He turned many from their life of sin,
Led them to accept Jesus and be born again.

Later on his ministry moved from the quaint
little church that he grew to love,
A move that was directed by God above.
He remained at this new location until his work
was completed as God had planned,
Then the Angels came for this preacher man.

We rejoice that he is in Heaven with our Lord above,
We know that Jesus was there to meet
him with outstretched arms of love.
He would not want us to grieve for him,
but he'd want us to press on,
To share the love of Jesus with others
in word or through a song.

He's want us to run the race with perseverance
until our life here is through,
He's want us to fix our eyes on Jesus,
who died for me and for you.
We shall remember always our beloved Pastor Pat,
From the pulpit where he preached to the
office chair in which he sat.

Let not your hearts be saddened he is
with our Lord above,
Surrounded by the beauty of heaven,
filled with God's love.
When our life here is over we shall meet with him again,
But until that time let us keep swinging for
 Jesus until the very end.

The end of my poem reads let us keep swinging for Jesus until the very end. During my Pastor's time in the Intensive Care Unit he passed out Bibles and witnessed the Love Of Christ to every one who entered his room. He said to a man who went to visit with him, if it's time for me to go, then I will go out swinging for Jesus. He saw angels around his bed and described them to his wife, at the wake there was an angel which he had drawn as he saw it. Pastor Pat was a wonderful teacher of God's word, he preached on Sundays, held prayer meetings on Sunday nights and taught classes on Wednesday nights. He went out evangelizing to peoples homes, he baptized many who had accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior and he played various musical instruments, when needed he did so during Praise and Worship before his sermons.  He shall be missed deeply by his wife, his family, friends and his congregation. We thank God that he crossed our path in life.

Marci's precious Mom was called to Heaven
to be with our Lord above,
He was there to meet her with outstretched arms of love.
So suddenly her life here on earth has come to an end,
The loved ones left behind have broken
hearts that only God can mend.

Please comfort them Lord and hold them in
 your precious arms of love,
Give them peace in knowing that she has
life again in your home above.
Keep forever fresh the memories of her
and as they go throughout each day,
May they know that her presence will never be far away.

She left behind her memories and she left behind her love,
Until they meet with her again in your home above.
If she could speak to them these are the words that she might say,
Do not grieve for me my precious loved ones for I am not far away.

Memories of me you will always carry deep within your hearts,
It is not forever that we shall remain apart.
Nor is it good-bye, but until we meet again,
For one day we'll meet in Heaven where life shall never end.

Natalie
November 26, 2002

Natalie was so young and so very ill,
The Lord took her to be with Him and you must except His will.
Please find comfort in knowing that she is in Heaven up above,
She left behind her memories and you will always have her love.

Jesus was there to meet her when she entered in,
With outstretched arms of love He drew her close to him.
She is surrounded by Heaven's beauty
and is free from pain forevermore,
She walks in blissful peace upon God's Heavenly shore.

One day you will join her in her home above,
She will be waiting there with Jesus with outstretched arms of love.
So until that day hold her precious memories close within your heart,
And from our precious Lord and Savior never depart.
One day, dear family you will meet with your precious Natalie again,
In Heaven up above where life shall never end.

This poem is dedicated in memory of Natalie, who went to be with the Lord on November 26, 2002. To her family, may you find comfort in the Lord for His word says, Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. Matthew 5:4
