Heavenly Father I lift up Carol's brother to you in prayer. He was in the hospital and almost died. Thank You Lord for seeing him through. The doctors were not able to find the cause of his illness. Lord I ask that you wrap this man in your arms of love. I ask that you draw him close to you. I ask that you cover him with your healing power from above. I ask that whatever illness he had never return to his body again. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Lord I ask that you wrap this precious woman in your arms of love. I ask that you draw her close to you. I ask that you cover her with your healing power from above. I ask that you remove any pain and discomfort that she may be having. The doctors have done all that they can for her therefore, I come before your Heavenly Throne on her behalf, believing that through you all things are possible and I ask for miraculous healing for only a miracle will save her. I ask that you give comfort to her family and draw each one close to you. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.
 

Heavenly Father I lift up Dan to you in prayer. He had two nodules removed from his lymph nodes and another one is forming. Lord I ask that you wrap Dan in your arms of love. I ask that you cover him with your healing power from above. If healing is to come through the hands of a surgeon, I ask that you guide his hands and bring him safely through surgery, free from complications, completely healed. I ask that he be free from any more nodules forming on his nodes. I ask that you give comfort to his mother as she awaits the outcome. I ask that a GOOD REPORT be given. I ask in the name of Jesus. Heavenly Father I lift up Mark and his family to you in prayer. Mark will be on active duty with the National Guards next week.  At the end of that time, or shortly afterwards, he may be called to go to Iraq somewhere around Dec. 18th.  He and his wife Cheryl are separated.  They have three little boys, Will who is ten years old, Micah eight and Joshua twenty-three months. Lord I ask that you wrap this family in your arms of love. I ask that you draw Mark and Cheryl close to you. I ask that you open their eyes to see, open their ears to hear and open their hearts to feel your wonderful love. I ask that you bring to their remembrance what your word says about divorce. I ask that you bring to their remembrance the vows that they made to one another on their wedding day. I ask that you open their hearts to feel the love that was so strong on that day. I pray that as they remember these things they will be drawn to honor their vows.  I ask that you mend this broken relationship and bring this family back together. I ask that you wrap these precious children in your arms of love and open the hearts of their parents to know that these children need to be with both of them. If Mark is called to Iraq, I ask that you place a hedge of protection around him and keep him safe from harm. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.
 

Heavenly Father I lift up Pat to you in prayer. She has had an infection around her feeding tube for almost two months now. Last Friday, she found out that a culture that was taken from the infection the week before came back showing that she still has a very bad bacterial infection. The doctor placed her on IV Cipro at home. Her last dose of this medication will be taken this coming Sunday. Because she has had so many infections for so long, one course of antibiotics does not usually work. She is afraid that unless the doctor continues with Cipro for another course, it will only be a matter of a couple of days before she becomes septic and has to be admitted to the hospital. Lord I ask that you wrap Pat in your arms of love. I ask that you draw her close to you. I ask that you cover her with your healing power from above. I come before your Heavenly Throne on her behalf and I ask that you give wisdom and guidance to her doctor as to whether he should keep her on antibiotics or not. I ask that she be healed completely of this infection before it causes any complications. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Dear Family, Friends, and Prayer Warriors,  I'm sick.  About three weeks ago I had the feeding tube replaced, must have irritated the site and so now I have an abscess again.  I have a fever and am feeling terrible.  The doctor ordered Cipro IV for me last night.  In addition, one of the leads on my Hickman is either clogged or has come off of the main line (which is what I think) and so I have to disconnect from my pain medication to do the antibiotic which makes it easier for bacteria to enter my blood.  Please pray that this abscess clears up, and please, please pray that I do not become septic.  My resistance is so low that even the slightest infection turns into me becoming septic.  Thank you for all your prayers for me.  Love ya,  Pat

 

Heavenly Father I lift up Gene to you in prayer. He has Chronic Obstructive Lung Disease. He just  came home from the hospital where he was treated with a lot of antibiotics and steroids. He is still having a lot of difficulties. Lord I ask that you wrap Gene in your precious arms of love. I ask that you draw him close to you. I ask that you cover him with your healing power from above. I ask that you remove any pain and discomfort that he may be having. I ask that you give strength to his weakened body and open his lungs so he can breathe freely. Heavenly Father I lift up my brother Buck to you in prayer. He was taken by ambulance to the hospital at 5:00 AM this morning. He was placed in the Intensive Care Unit, diagnosis double pneumonia. He has been placed on antibiotics and oxygen. His wife Ruth is on the 4th floor of the same hospital due to an aneurysm of the brain and he went faithfully everyday to the hospital to be with her and stayed there most of the day since she was admitted on November 2nd. He needs to get well so he can be by her side. Lord I ask that you wrap Buck in your arms of love. I ask that you draw him close to you. I ask that you cover him with your healing power from above. I ask that you bring him safely through this illness, free from complications, completely healed. I ask that you give comfort to the family as they await the outcome. I ask that a GOOD REPORT be given for Buck and Ruth. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

My brother Buck has  been diagnosed with double pneumonia. He has an infection in his lung which caused bleeding, he had to have two pints of blood due to this problem. He is feeling a little better, they gave him liquids today. Please continue praying for a full recovery. Thank you for lifting him up to the Lord in prayer.

 Buck went to see the doctor yesterday, his blood pressure medication had to be increased. He sounds very tired and run down. He has had a lot of stress due to his wife being in the hospital since November 4th and his daughter has been in for two weeks now due to kidney failure. Heavenly Father I lift up Nancy's daughter to you in prayer. She recently had a mammogram and  something showed up on two of the films. She is scheduled to go for an ultrasound on Monday. Lord I ask that you wrap Nancy's daughter in your arms of love. I ask that you draw her close to you. I ask that you cover her with your healing power from above. I ask that you remove any fear that she may be having and replace it with peace and calmness before, during and after the ultrasound. Heavenly Father Thanksgiving will be here soon and I give thanks for my family who will be here to share this holiday with me. My thoughts are with our military men and women who will not be at home to celebrate with their families. Lord I ask that you wrap our military men and women in your arms of love, those who are in Iraq, Afghanistan and throughout the world. For those at war I ask that you place a hedge of protection around them and keep them safe from harm. I ask that you provide for their needs whether it be blankets to keep them warm, or food to keep them healthy, I ask that their every need be met. I ask that you let your presence be felt with them when they are afraid. I pray that this war will be over soon, every time I hear of someone getting killed my heart aches for their families. Lord I ask that you comfort the families of those who have lost their lives. I ask that you wrap the children that they have left behind in your precious arms of love. I ask that you comfort them as they mourn the loss of their loved one.  I ask that you heal those who have been wounded in war physically, mentally and spiritually. I ask that you give wisdom and guidance to President Bush, our world leaders and military leaders to make the right decisions concerning this war. I ask that Saddam and those who are under his command be captured.  If there are any chemical and biological warfare in Iraq I ask that they be found and destroyed. I ask in the name of Jesus. Heavenly Father lift up Doris to you in prayer. Her husband is an alcoholic and lives a block away from her. She is depressed and has been placed on three antidepressants. She is trying to get her life together but her husband wants to do things his way. He won't give up his apartment so they can get back together and try to save their marriage. Lord I ask that you wrap Doris in your arms of love. I ask that you draw her close to you. I ask that you remove the depression that she feels and replace it with your peace that surpasses all understanding. I ask that you remove the addiction of alcohol from her husband. I ask that you open his eyes to see that this addiction is causing his marriage to fail. If he has not accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior I ask that you place Christian in his path to share the GOOD NEWS OF CHRIST with him. I ask that you open his eyes to see, open his ears to here and open his heart to feel your wonderful love. I ask that you give him the strength to overcome his addiction.  I pray that he will see that the love that he has for his wife needs to be of greater value than the love for alcohol. I ask that this marriage be restored. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Heavenly Father I lift up Doug to you in prayer. He was diagnosed with colon cancer three years ago, yesterday he was taken to the hospital in severe pain. He has been given medication for the pain but it doesn't seem to be working very well. The doctor ordered that he be given a colonostomy which will probably be done tomorrow. Lord I ask that you wrap Doug in your arm of love. I ask that you draw him close to you. I ask that you cover him with your healing power from above. I ask that you remove any pain and discomfort that he may be having. I ask that you cover him with your healing power from above. I come before your Heavenly Throne on his behalf and I ask that you guide the hands of the doctor who will be doing the colonostomy and bring him safely through, free from complications. I ask that no cancer be found. I ask that you give comfort to his wife and family as they await the results. I ask that you draw each one close to you. I ask that a GOOD REPORT be given. Heavenly Father I lift up Carl Bir to you in prayer. He is a seventy-four year old Viet Nam Veteran.  He has been diagnosed with high blood pressure, diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, severe pain of unknown origins in his lower back and osteoarthritis. The pain in his back is a result of lower spine degeneration, to the point that there are spurs and pieces of bone probably due to having osteoporosis.  He is devastated,  he went from being a very active man to a very sick man who can only get around with a walker in two weeks time. Lord I ask that you wrap Carl in your arms of love. I ask that you draw him close to you. I ask that you remove any pain and discomfort that he may be having. I ask that you cover him with your healing power from above. I come before your Heavenly Throne on his behalf, believing that through you all things are possible and I ask that you give healing to his body where healing is needed. I ask that you restore his blood pressure and blood sugar to normal. I ask that you remove the pain in his lower back and give complete healing to his spine. I ask that he be given the strength to function without the use of a walker. I ask that he be a testimony to the doctors, family and friends of your healing power and of the power of prayer. I ask for complete healing. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.
 

Heavenly Father I lift up Tyler Cooke to you in prayer. He is eleven years old and he is scheduled to have surgery on Wednesday, November 18th, diagnosis, cancerous tumor on the brain. The surgery is very dangerous because it involves the brain stem and a main ventricle. Lord I ask that you wrap Tyler in your precious arms of love. I ask that you comfort him and remove any pain and discomfort that he may be having. I ask that you remove any fear that he may have and replace it with peace and calmness in knowing that you are with him every step of the way. I ask that you cover him with your healing power from above.  Update on Tyler, eleven year old brain cancer PTL!!!!
Hey Charlotte! I just wanted to let you know how Tyler is doing.  His surgery was long and involved, but they feel that they got 99% of the tumor.  He is recovering now and will have to undergo some chemotherapy, but they feel that they caught it early and so far the prognosis looks good.  Thank you and everyone so much for your prayers! Grace

Charlotte: I just wanted to thank you for all of your prayers and support.  Just to update you, my nephew Tyler's pathology reports took a little longer than they thought, which greatly worried my cousin, but it was only because they wanted to be sure of the results.  His tumor was diagnosed as being BENIGN!   There are miracles!   Praise the Lord!   It truly baffled all the doctors, but happily so.   Please thank everyone for me and my family for their prayers!   It truly gave us all a HUGE reason to be thankful this Thanksgiving! I come before your Heavenly Throne on her behalf, believing that through you all things are possible and I ask that you bring her safely through, free from complications, able to move, talk and function normal in all ways. My sister-in-law Ruth was moved to a private room yesterday. She is showing some improvement. She will be having a trach placed in today. Her eyes are open at times and she responds by squeezing the hand of her loved ones. Please continue in prayer for a full recovery. Thank you, In Christ Love Charlotte
Update 11/27/03
 Ruth has developed an infection in her brain. She has her eyes open and responds by squeezing the family's hand when spoken to. She has no movement on one side  of her body. My brother Buck, her husband was admitted yesterday and placed in ICU, diagnosis double pneumonia. He is on the 6th floor and she is on the 4th floor. Infection in his lung caused bleeding which led to him having to need a transfusion of two pints of blood. Their daughter Ann had a kidney transplant a few years ago, her body is rejecting the kidney. She has been in and out of the hospital the past year. She has stayed at the hospital sleeping on a couch in the waiting room since Ruth was admitted on November 2nd. She finally went home tonight, she is not feeling well. If she is not better by tomorrow they will have to place her back in the hospital. Please continue in praying for healing.

 My sister-in-law Ruth is responding. PTL!! My brother visited with her before his release from the hospital on December 12th, said that when they ask her to move her toes, she did. She also responded to pain and tried to move her mouth as if to say stop. Please continue in prayer for a full and speedy recovery.

 Praise the Lord, Ruth's daughter gave her a piece of paper and a pen yesterday and she wrote her name. Wow is God working??? Yes, HE is and I thank HIM! Please continue in prayer for a complete recovery. Thank you so much for your prayer for my sister-law, may God Bless you and yours.
