Heavenly
Father I lift up Kathryn to you in
prayer. This precious child is only three years old and has
been diagnosed with cancer of the kidney. Her history is
repeated kidney infections since an infant and a continued
search for the cause. When the diagnosis was given her
family was devastated, these are dear Christian people. Lord
I ask that you wrap this precious little one in your arms of
love. I ask that you give comfort to her family during this
difficult time and draw each one close to you. I come before
your Heavenly Throne on Kathryn's behalf, believing that
through you all things are possible and I ask that you bring
her safely through, free from cancer, completely healed. I
ask that she be a testimony to the doctors, medical staff,
family, friends and strangers of your healing power and of
the power of prayer. I pray that she will grow up a Godly

Father I lift up my son Glenn to you in
prayer. He had a colonoscopy yesterday, the results were
colon polyps which were sent for biopsy. He was also
diagnosed with diverticulosis, he is very worried that the
polyps may be cancerous.
I don't have to tell you how much I love my son, he has
caused me a lot of heartaches but that has never taken away
my love for him. Lord I ask that you wrap Glenn in your
precious arms of love. I ask that you draw him close to you.
I ask that you remove any fear that he may be having and
replace it with peace and calmness in knowing that you are
with him. I come before your Heavenly Throne on his behalf,
believing that through you all things are possible and I ask
that you bring him safely through, completely healed. I ask
that he be given a GOOD REPORT, no cancer found. He knows
the gospel but has not accepted Jesus as his Lord and
Savior, I ask that you open his eyes to see, his ears to
hear and his heart to feel your love. I pray for his
salvation. I ask Lord that you mend our relationship and
bring us close together, I want him to love me so much Lord.

were benign for cancer. Praise The Lord!!! Thank you
for lifting my son up to the Lord in prayer. Please continue

prayer. She has been diagnosed with cancer and she is dying.
She has no pain because of her strong faith and this
precious woman continues to pray for all who attend her
church. Anna is the mother of the Pastor who Pastors Valley
Christian Assembly Of God. She loves you Lord with all of
her heart, mind and soul. Lord I ask that you wrap Anna in

pain. The doctors have done all medically that they can do

Wanda is my friend Audrey's sister in NY. She has lymphoma
of the brain and Audrey is with her. It does not look good
at all, she is in her mid 40's. Becky, the niece is
fine. They operated on her for colon cancer last month and
got it all! Praise The Lord!! Please keep
Wanda in your prayers.

Marilee to you in prayer. She is having some
problems in her life and feels that she is facing a losing
battle. Lord I ask that you wrap Marilee in your arms of

exploratory surgery Monday, October 7. If all doesn't go
well he will have to have corrective surgery involving the

Update 11/8/02
Charlotte,
Just a quick prayer request for Barb and myself. My blood
test and specifically PSA results did not come back
favorable this past week. As a matter of fact, they are
about four times higher than they should be. Right now I
have calls in to two doctors looking for courses of action
but neither are returning calls. Since I still have some
pain I am suspicious that they may find cancer after
performing an ultrasound and a biopsy. But then again they
may want to wait because of my infection in September. This
is where we need prayer!! Barb has already lost two husbands
and I have lost a wife -- we are happy and don't know what
God has in store for us or why He is doing this. We also
need understanding.

Heavenly Father I lift up
Josie to you in prayer. She has been a good
friend of mine for many years now. The mother of one of my
dear friends who died in a fire a few years ago. Not only
did Josie suffer the loss of her daughter but her son Tommy
died a few years later. She has been through a lot over the
years health wise as well. She is scheduled for triple
bypass surgery Wednesday, October 9. I spoke with her the
other day and she is a little scared. She is 78 years old.
Lord I ask that you wrap Josie in your arms of love. I ask
that you draw her close to you. I ask that you cover her
with your healing power from above. I ask that you remove
any fear that she has and replace it with peace in knowing
that you are with her every step of the way.

Update 11/20/02
Josie came through the surgery OK PTL! , she remained in the
hospital for two weeks after her surgery then she was placed
in a rehabilitation center. A week ago they discovered a
sore on her toe, gangrene set in and she was taken to the
hospital. She was placed on antibiotics. Please pray that
her toe heals and amputation won't be necessary. Pray also
for her salvation. Thank you for your prayers.

recovered from her heart surgery and amputation of her toes,
it was a long road to recovery but Praise The Lord!

Josie has been in a nursing home for two weeks now, her
husband Tommy just passed away this past Wednesday due to
complications from heart surgery. Please keep the family
in prayer, that God will comfort them and pray also for

to you in prayer. She and her husband Doug were having dinner Monday and she lost sight
momentarily in part of her right eye. She is scheduled to see a neurosurgeon October
8 to check for a possible blockage in the carotid artery. Lord I ask that you wrap Patty
in your arms of love. I ask that you draw her close to you. I ask that you cover her with
your healing power from above. I ask that you give wisdom to the doctor as he searches for
the cause. I ask that the test results show nothing of a serious nature. I ask that you

Charlotte, I went back for follow up visit this past
Tuesday. My Neurosurgeon thought I came thru OK and I am
doing well. I had an ultra sound and EKG done. I have a
stint in my carotid artery now. It is a very new procedure

Heavenly Father I lift up James
to you in prayer. He is going through some difficult times in his life that have caused
him to fall away from being the Christian that he wants to be. James like all of us in our
Christian walk strives to do the things that are pleasing to you but unfortunately we all
fall short of your glory, therefore we need your help to keep us on the right path. Lord I
ask that you wrap James in your arms of love. I ask that you draw him close to you. I ask
that you convict him of the things that he needs to straighten out in his life and place
him back on the path to righteousness. I ask that you mend the relationship with his
sister and that forgiveness and love will prevail over whatever problem has come between
them. I ask that love heal the relationship that the evil one has tried to destroy, for
your word says that love covers over a multitude of sin. I ask that you open his ears to
hear, his eyes to see and his heart to feel your wonderful love. I ask that you remind him
of the one that you sent to die for our sins, Jesus who loved and forgave those who
crucified him and that in knowing this how much more we should be forgiving toward one
another. I also fall short here and I ask that you help me to be more loving and forgiving
toward those who have wronged me. Lord please bring James and I from the valley back to
the mountain, renew us Lord and help us for you are the only one that we can turn to. In

Joanne had cancer and it has now returned. Unfortunately cancer goes into remission and a
lot of times it recurs and for the person who gets this news I know that it must be very
difficult for them. Lord I ask that you wrap Joanne in your arms of love. I ask that you
draw her close to you. I ask that you comfort her and remove any fear that she may be
having and replace it with peace in knowing that you are with her every step of the way. I
ask that you cover her with your healing power from above. I ask that you remove any pain

Heavenly Father I lift up Robin's niece Natalie to you in
prayer. Natalie is very ill and in need of another kidney transplant. Natalie is Robin's
niece by marriage and the first child of the many children that she has taken care of over
the past twenty-two years. When Natalie was about sixteen months old, Robin started taking
care of her in her home until she went to kindergarten. She is very near and dear to her
heart, as she was so much a part of her family. Natalie is twenty-two years old now. For
reasons unknown she developed nephritis around the age of nineteen, it was so severe that
Natalie's mother, Robin's sister-in-law gave her a kidney. Now she is in need of another
transplant. Her fathers and her mothers families have started to be tested for possible
donors. She went into kidney failure a few weeks ago and is now recovering after a few
dialysis treatments, which she will need until a donor is found. There are no possible
donors on her mothers side of the family but it looks like a possible donor on her fathers
side. If they cannot find a donor from the family Robin will be tested. Lord I ask that
you wrap Natalie in your arms of love. I ask that you draw her close to you. I ask that
you cover her with your healing power from above. I ask that you provide a kidney for her
either through her family, friends are another donor. When the time comes for the
transplant, I ask that you guide the surgeons hands and bring Robin safely through, free
from complications completely healed. If the donor is living I ask that you bring him or
her safely through the transplant. If the donor is through someone who has no possible
chance for recovery I ask that you be with the family and comfort them in knowing that
through their family member a life will be saved. I ask that you comfort the family of

Update 12/6/02
Dear
Charlotte, It is with a heavy heart that I write this to
you. My niece Natalie went home to Jesus on November 26th.
I am happy she is with him, but still in shock that she is
gone. It is never easy to lose a loved one, and when they
are so young it just makes no sense. Your mind just doesn't
want to except it. Natalie just turned 23 on November 20th
then died six days later. I had no idea she was that ill as
I am so far away from her here in KY. She was in our home
state of MI with her Mother and family. She had been having
dialysis every three days and was waiting for an Aunt on her
Fathers side who was in the last stages of testing to give
her a kidney. My sister-in-law (her Mom) told me at the
funeral home, that Natalie could not or would not eat since
her previous
kidney failure in, October? She was too weak and sick. Sue
(Natalie's Mom) said she had been trying to make her protein
drinks to keep up her strength and that Nat might have had
an equivalent of what you or I might eat in three days time,
in the last couple of months. Nat went for her dialysis
treatment on the 26th and went into cardiac arrest right
there before she could even be hooked up, I'm told. They
worked on her for 55 minutes giving her CPR but to no avail.
Her mother was very courageous and strong at the funeral
home and funeral. Her Father was just torn up! The family
members all tried to be strong for her parents...It was just
awful. We will all miss her so. Thank you and your members
for all the prayers and please continue to keep us all on
your list.

prayer. This precious child is waiting for a heart transplant and she has been given
approximately fifteen days to live. Her parents have been with her in Pittsburg for the
past week waiting. Lord I ask that you wrap this precious little one in your arms of

Heavenly Throne on her behalf, believing that through you all things are possible and I
ask for a miracle. I ask that she be a testimony to the doctors, medical staff, family,

Hi, I'm at work this week. Quick update, Erin got her heart on 9/8. Heart wise, she is
doing great, she will need lots of rehab, she can't talk, eat, or move very well, but
every day we see improvement. Hard to put it all in an email so feel free if you
want to call me. I'll be back in Pitts next week.

Charlotte......So sorry this has taken so long to respond to
you, we have been having computer problems...first a virus,
so I didn't want to send anything to anyone, then it kept
hanging up on us every minute.....looks like everything is
OK for now...we got it back last night. Anyway I forwarded
your email to my friend and this was her response she did
say that Erin walked further than she has in a long time and
didn't get tired, and that she was able to drink more so
they took the feeding tube out...I
was really surprised to get this email from her today...I
was under the impression they were going to keep her for at
least three or four more weeks since she is still in
rehab...so I guess they will continue that here. It's been
hard on my friend, she and her husband have been taking
turns on a weekly basis staying in Pittsburgh (about 3 hours
south of us) and she comes home to work every other week,
while taking family medical leave every other week so thank
God she is coming home and THANK YOU for your prayers and
concern, I truly appreciate everything you have done, and
so does my friend!

Erin is coming home tomorrow! She does have some rejection
and is now on
cell-cept. Still needs rehab and a lot of cardiology
follow-up, probably another biopsy in the next week or so,
echos and blood every week, but at least she's coming home!

Erin
is scheduled for a biopsy in Pittsburg February 11th. We
received some discouraging news yesterday, her FK level came
back extremely low, if it drops to low she could have more
rejection. We are praying that the lab made a mistake. They
upped her dose of medication some just in case, and another
test will be done on Saturday. Thank you for your prayers
and please continue in prayer for this precious child.

prayer. She is scheduled to have heart test Friday, August 29th. She also has thyroid
problems as well as diabetes. Lord I ask that you wrap Rose in your arms of love. I ask
that you cover her with your healing power from above. I come before your Heavenly Throne
on her behalf and I ask that you see her through the test that have to be done and that a
GOOD REPORT be given. There is no cure for diabetes only treatment, therefore I come

prognosis isn't very good right now. Lord I ask that you wrap Caden in your arms of

behalf of Caden, believing that through you all things are possible and I ask for

Update 7/31/02
Hi Charlotte, I appreciate the prayers and concern for my brother Clyde. After having a
triple bypass he is at home trying to recuperate. He is having a hard time and carrying
fluids. I knew this period would be hard on him. When I talked to him last night he was
worrying about their business and said he had things that just had to be done and no one
that could do them. One of his daughters works for him and she is out because she just had
surgery herself so they are having a time. Please keep them in your prayers for a speedy

Charlotte, thank you for your concern. My brother Clyde has
really had it rough. He has always been a very active man in
his life time and it has just about got the best of him
trying to adjust his life style to his health. Not only does
he own and operate a locksmith business he also owns a
construction remodeling business that he works with. Then he
has been active in the Shriners oriental band (they march a
lot)
Update 5/17/2003
I am sorry that I haven't answered you before now regarding
my brother Clyde. I just had minor surgery myself and it was
a painful one that takes a while to feel normal or like
doing anything. Clyde seems to being doing great after his
heart surgery. He is not one to dwell on anything or let it
hold him down. He seems like a different person since his
operation. I feel that all the prayers for him has sure
helped and I thank everyone so very much. Peace & Love

prayer. He has been ill for over a year now and the doctors cannot make a diagnosis. He
states that he would like to be healthy again. Lord I ask that you wrap Howard in your

I appreciate your prayers. I do not just want pain blocked out but the cause
healed. My brain or mind is crossed up and I need this corrected. Have lost sense of
smell and taste and need this corrected. Having flashbacks that don't seem to stop
and mental interference. Need lots of help.

prayer. She was diagnosed with breast cancer. She is in the hospital and had surgery
yesterday, the primary lymph nodes were removed and sent for biopsy, the results will be
in in a few days. Lord I ask that you wrap Kris's mother in your arms of love. I ask that

ask that you remove any pain and discomfort that she may be having. I come before your

Thanks for your mail. Mom is receiving chemotherapy now, so tough, vomiting, hair loss,
and many side-effects, she has been to the hospital several times due to the low level of
White Blood Cells. And thank God, she is having the second injection, and still has about
two months to go. So the time is tough but has light in front. Love Kris

Dearest Charlotte, Thanks for your continuous caring for my
Mom, she is not very happy, as she is facing physical
problems with her left hand since the removal of the lymph
nodes during the breast surgery. She cannot do most of the
housework and feels a lot of pain, I understand her pains,
but I don't know how to help her.. She cannot sleep well
because the left hand is so painful at night. I tried using
essential oils but they are not very good. Please pray that
the pain will end and pray for her physical ability. One
good thing is that she is very happy when meeting with the
church's sisters, we haven't been to church for two months
due the SARS epidemic here. Please keep her in your prayers.
Please pray also for me, I had a Pet Scan and got the
results last week, oh thank God, there was no cancerous
spots in my nose, I believe this is a miracle God has given,
the doctor said I may develop cancer later on in life since
my index is extremely high, God makes the doctor so
surprised, the doctor also said I may develop lymphoma then
lymph cancer. Please pray for my brother Kui he had been
imprisoned in China and now he has been sent back to Hong
Kong. He is still hanging out with bad guys, but it seems
that he has changed a bit, as he always tries to find some
opportunities to do something good for us. He behaves very
well at home, and he even tried to help Mom clean dishes and
cook. Please pray for his mental health, as he seems to be
quite depressed, sometimes, he pushes himself too much, he
has no self esteem as he cannot earn money for the family
now. He is unemployed. Please pray for his health as he lost
more than fifteen pounds and always has a cough. I really
pray that he can gradually turn his face back and walk down
God's road, I really believe that God is doing something
with him. Since he was imprisoned in China, eventually, all
the hard times passed, and God protected him through those
days. Recently, Kui said he has friends in Dutch who ask him
to go there together, however, those men are no good to him,
please pray for God's intervention in this. Last but not
least, I pray seriously for your health, as SARS is

prayer. She is only twenty-one years old and has been diagnosed with brain cancer. The
doctors have done all that can be done for her. Lord I ask that you wrap Danielle in your
arms of love. I ask that you draw her close to you. I ask that you cover her with your
healing power from above. I ask that you comfort her and remove any pain and discomfort
that she may be having. The doctors have done all that they can do for her medically,
therefore I come before your Heavenly Throne on her behalf, believing that through you all
things are possible and I ask for miraculous healing. Just as you gave movement to the
lame, hearing to the deaf, voice to the mute, healed leprosy, raised the dead, drove out
demons, healed the woman with the bleeding problem, I know that you can remove the cancer

FEW MORE WEEKS. DANIELLE CAME OUT OF HER COMA AND IS DOING

Update 7/13/02
Marilyn's fluid draw was a success. She has to have this done every once in a while,
and is always scared each time. I can't say that I blame her. Thank you all for your
prayers. I will keep you up on how she is doing. Keep praying. God has
kept her alive for over five years with breast cancer which usually kills within one to
two years, so I think it is God that has kept her going this long. She has two
children to finish raising, also works two jobs. Pat

I wrote to you about Marilyn Sharp, having to have fluids removed from one of her
lungs. She was sent back to the hospital last Friday and they had to remove fluid
from the other lung. Her lung collapsed and she is in the hospital on oxygen. She
has two children who need her to be home. Please keep her in prayer. Thank you.

My boss, Marilyn Sharp, in Witness Management at the Court House, that I had
you all praying for passed away yesterday morning from breast cancer. Pat Burns

Heavenly Father I lift up my family to you
in prayer. Fred Jr. my nephew just had quadruple bypass surgery, thank you Lord for bring
him safely through. Now the doctor says that a pace maker may have to be placed due to a
slow heart rate. His mother Barbara had a slight heart attack and was placed on a
respirator, thank you Lord that it has been removed as well as her feeding tube. Her
breathing is still not good. My niece Anne had surgery to remove the shunt that was placed
in her leg when she was on dialysis as infection had set in. Thank you Lord for bringing
her safely through the surgery. The redness and swelling is starting to fade and the
infection is clearing up. Her blood sugar is still in the 300 range. Lord I ask that you
wrap each one in your arms of love. I ask that you give each one comfort and draw them
close to you. I ask that you remove any pain and discomfort that they may be having. If a
pace maker is needed for Fred Jr. I ask that you guide the surgeons hands and bring him
safely through free from complications, completely healed. I ask that you restore
Barbara's oxygen level to normal and that you strengthen her weakened body. I ask for a
speedy, complete recovery. I ask that you remove the infection from Anne's leg and I ask
that you restore her blood sugar to normal. I thank you for Anne and Barbara's salvation
and I pray that Fred will find his way back to you. I ask that Fred Jr., Anne and Barbara
be a testimony to the doctors, medical staff, family and friends of your healing power and

Update 7/11
My nephew Fred Jr. came through the heart surgery well, PTL! Just talked with my
brother, said he had a quadruple bypass. They have not told his Mom that he had surgery
yet as she had a slight heart attack as well and just came off the respirator My brother
said he and the Pastor will tell her tomorrow together. She is doing well, the doctor
wants to do an angeo Wednesday providing that her breathing is better as she is still on
oxygen due to emphysema. She and her son are on the same floor in ICU. Fred Jr. has not
been to Church in a long while please pray that he returns. My niece Anne came through her
surgery well, blood sugar is still high, temperature down to 99 now, blood pressure
stable. They left her leg open to drain the infection out, then they well close it up. My
brother Ronald doing a little better. PTL he is going to Church now. Please continue in
prayer for a speedy recovery ad I thank you all so much for lifting my family up to the
Lord in prayer. I know that God will bring them safely through.

I just talked with my nephew, he sounds weak, said the doctor may put a pace maker in as
his heart rate is to slow. His aunt videotaped his Mom wishing him a Happy Birthday
yesterday and she took it to his room and showed him. When his Mom found out he had had
surgery she cried but spoke to him soon after she was told. She is doing OK, can't do the
angeo as her breathing is not good. They have phones in their rooms in ICU so they can
talk to each other. My niece Anne is doing OK, blood sugar in the 300 range now, the
redness and swelling in her leg is going away. The doctor said she will be in for at least
another 4 to 5 days. I called my brother Ronald he is feeling much better. Please continue
praying for a full recovery for my niece, nephew and sister-in-law. Please pray that that
my brother's sugar gets under control, it has really been dropping low over the past few
months. Thank you for lifting my family up to the Lord in prayer. In

Update 7/12
Spoke with my brother Fred last night, Barbara had a very bad day yesterday,
hallucinated due to the pain medication that was given to her. She was very frightened,
her grandson stayed with her last night. Spoke briefly with Fred Jr. today, he had the
pace maker put in this morning.
Haven't spoken with Fred Sr. today but heard that he was very upset as they wanted to put
Barbara back on the respirator and he doesn't want her back on it. She does not want to be
put on it either. Anne was released yesterday, a nurse will come in every day and
take care of her leg. Blood sugar down in the 200s today. Infection clearing up a little.
Please continue in prayer for my family.
Update 7/13
Fred Jr. was released from the hospital today, PTL ! Stopped by to see his Mom before
going home. It was not the respirator they were wanting to put on her last night, it was
the oxygen mask as she pulled it off and was fighting with them not to put it back on. My
brothers grandson called my brother at 2 AM and he got her calmed down so the mask could
be put back on. He stayed with her last night. Said she is doing much better today. She
will remain in the hospital until the infection in her lungs clear. My brother says that
God is watching over him as his wife and son need him. Anne is doing OK, nurse comes in
every day. Blood sugar is dropping. Please pray for my son Glenn, he injured his thumb
playing baseball yesterday, he has to see a plastic surgeon Monday. My friend who is a
nurse came over and bandaged it today, looks really bad, the nail on his thumb is very
loose and the thumb is swollen and bloody as he damaged the skin. The doctor in the ER
said the plastic surgeon will have to look at it. Please pray for his salvation. Thank you
for your prayers, may God bless you and keep you in His loving care.
Update 7/25/02
Barbara went to be with our Lord July 20. I just got back yesterday. Please keep my
brother Fred, and their children in your prayers. This has been very hard for them, my
brother held her until her last breath and a lot of the family was there also. He said
that it was very hard on him, as she was gasping for breath he ask Jesus to take her and
within a few minutes she was gone. The church that she attended had the wake from 2 :00 to
4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00, shortly after 4:00 they had prepared a dinner for all of us at the
church. Fred Jr. her son was really drained as he just had quadruple bypass and a pace
maker put in while his Mom was in the hospital. They were on the same floor. Everyone has
peace in knowing that she is with our Lord even the ones who have not accepted Jesus as
their Lord and Savior. Her casket was inscribed with In Care Of God, a cross and flowers.
We will all miss her and I will miss our talks as I called them at least twice a month. Me
I am drained physically and emotionally, I do have peace in knowing that she is with our
Lord. My son's thumb is looking good, no infection. he will be seeing the doctor again on
Wednesday. My niece Anne is doing OK, still has the infection but it is clearing up. My
brother Ronald really looked very worn out, he has not been feeling well, blood sugar out
of control a lot lately. Please keep them in pray and pray for the unsaved in my family.

Update 7/21/02
Charlotte, Being in the hospital for 3 days and then being so weak its been hard to even
get on the computer. I'm doing OK now just very tired and still a little weak but that
will pass soon I'm sure. The leg is doing much better now, but the pain in the whole body
is still very bad. I know this is going to be like this for the rest of my life so I just
have to find a way to live with it. Thank you so much for the mail and again I'm sorry
about the loss of your sister in law
