Heavenly Father I lift up my daughter Dorothy to you in prayer. Dorothy has been diagnosed with psoriasis and hyperhidrosis. The past few years these diseases have been very painful and embarrassing for her. It is difficult for her at times to walk and difficult as well in her place of employment. She has reached the point to where she is becoming depressed. To see my daughter like this is breaking my heart. She used to get up every Sunday morning eager to go to church and now she has just stopped going.  She is faithful in watching sermons on television delivered by Pastor Joel Olstein and Pastor Charles Stanley but still she needs fellowship with other Christians. She loves you Lord and she loves reading and hearing your word. Lord I ask that you wrap Dorothy in your arms of love. I ask that you give comfort to her and draw her close to you. I ask that you cover her with your healing power from above. I ask that you remove the depression that she feels and replace it with joy and peace in knowing that you are with her each step of the way. There is no cure for these diseases only treatments that only help for a short time, therefore I come before your Heavenly Throne believing that through you all things are possible and I ask for miraculous healing.  I ask that you remove the psoriasis form her hands and feet that cause itching and painful sores. I ask that you remove the sweat that drips from her hands and feet daily. I ask for complete healing. If it is not your will to heal her then I ask that you give her the strength to accept your will and to be able to get through each day. Heavenly Father I lift up Bob to you in prayer. Bob has been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. He states that he is doing well. His heart goes out to others who have this disease and aren't doing so well with it. He states the following, when a cure for MS comes, give it to others in greater need, give the cure first, to those worse off, help those who need it the most, help those who have prayed for this day, I shall persevere and wait my turn, keep your chin up, hang in there, and if you wish to meet me, Ill be at the back of the line. Lord Bob's words have touched my heart in a big way. Here is a man thinking of others who are suffering from this terrible disease, hoping that a cure is found and wants the ones who are suffering the most to be first in line, yet he too has this disease and would gladly want others worse off than he to go first. Lord I ask that you wrap Bob in your arms of love. I ask that you draw him close to you. I ask that you cover him with your healing power from above. Heavenly Father I lift up my cousin Louise to you in prayer. A lump was discovered in her breast and  biopsy results show that it is malignant. She is scheduled for surgery on Wednesday, February 27th.  Lord I ask that you wrap Louise in your arms of love. I ask that you cover her with your healing power from above. I ask that you remove any fear that she may be having and replace it with peace and calmness in knowing that you are with her. I ask that you draw her close to you. Louise was released from the hospital yesterday.
I spoke with her today, she said everything went well and the doctor feels that all of the cancer was removed. Praise The Lord! She had a mastectomy plus removal of the lymph nodes. Thank you for your prayers. In Christ Love Charlotte

Hi everyone, just a quick note to tell you that I took Mom to the Dr today and he released her and told her she could do what she wanted to. She'll get her prosthesis in two weeks. Heavenly Father I lift up Prissy's brother-in-law to you in prayer. He is sixty-one years old and has fallen into the sin of pornography. He is now wanting to buy a disk for the television which will give him access to channels that are pornographic. His wife loves you Lord and being a Christian woman this is weighing heavily upon her heart. Lord I ask that you wrap this dear woman in your arms of love. I ask that you comfort her and draw her close to you. I ask that you place Christians in her husband's path to share THE GOOD NEWS OF CHRIST with him. I ask that you open his eyes to see, open his ears to hear and open his heart to feel your wonderful love.  I ask that you place conviction upon his heart so strong that he will fall to his knees in repentance and turn from the sin of pornography, turn from the lustful desires that have entrapped him. Heavenly Father I lift up Arlene, her daughter Cala and her mother to you in prayer. Arlene has a heavy heart right now due to the illness of her daughter and mother. Her mother is in a nursing home due to having cancer, hospice has been called in. Her daughter Carla has been diagnosed with anorexia. Carla was in the hospital for two days hooked up to IV's, her blood pressure dropped to 60/40. The doctor said it was a miracle that she didn't go into coma. Thank you Lord.  When she came home from the hospital she told her husband that she wants a divorce. The behavior of Carla is affecting her husband and her daughter who is only six years old. In studying up on anorexia Arlene found that Carla's behavior is common in people who have eating disorders. Lord I ask that you wrap Arlene's mother in your arms of love. I ask that you cover her with your healing power from above. I ask that you give comfort to her and remove any pain and discomfort that she may be having. I ask that you draw her close to you. The doctors have done all that can be done for her medically, therefore I come before your Heavenly Throne on Arlene's mother's behalf believing that through you all things are possible and I ask for miraculous healing. I ask that she be a testimony to the doctors, medical staff, family, friends and strangers of your healing power and of the power of prayer. If it is not your will to heal her then I ask for mercy. I ask also that you wrap Carla in your arms of love. I ask that you draw her close to you. I ask that you give complete healing to her body and mind. I ask that you restore her body to a healthy condition and restore her mind to think rationally. My Precious Sister in CHRIST!!!
As I read your prayer, I wept with joy in my heart. That your servant hood to the LORD and HIS children is so committed. I praised HIM for providing such love. I will keep in touch with any updates. Tomorrow, CARLA has to go for test to see the amount of damage done to her esophagus. The past few days have been overwhelming, dealing with all and dealing with menopause and migraines. I am going back to my neurologist to see if there is other medication for my migraines. He has me on depakote now, which was originally made for seizures, but never passed F.D.A so now they give it to people for (cluster) migraines. I cant find the words to say thank you for allowing the LORD to use you. This Friday we are going to North Carolina and coming home Monday. The last week in March both of our grandchildren are coming to be with us for eight or nine days. I need prayer for strength, spiritually, emotionally and physically to keep up with a three and six year old. They are active children and need assurance. I am sorry I didn't get back sooner. I am totally drained, spiritually, emotionally and physically. We were in North Carolina from Friday to Monday for our grandsons birthday. Carla is in total denial, even if it means losing her husband. My heart is breaking for the whole family. I can see the children are so affected by her condition also. I was really discouraged when I read Focus On The Family this month, they had an article on anorexia which mentioned a place to go for help, $1,400.00 a day. I wonder who the writer is for that magazine, and who can afford to pay $1,400.00 a day. Carla doesn't have insurance and we couldn't afford her train fare. I am struggling as I deal with menopause, migraines, anxiety attacks and overwhelming attacks. I went to see my Mom today, hospice is caring for her now. It seems she is falling fast. The cancer in her bones is eating through her skin. I don't know how I work from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, there are days I just want to run out. Charlotte, I am very discouraged. CHARLOTTE, I didn't go to work today because I have been feeling shaky the past two months. And I am overwhelmed with panic and anxiety disorder, menopause and migraines. Pray the LORD will soften my psychiatrist's heart. I am taking medication for my disorder and migraines. The past week, I wake up every hour. My husband even ask me why I am so shaky. The last time I had a major panic and anxiety attack I ignored the warning signs and I don't want to do that this time. CHARLOTTE, there are no words to explain the attack and I get upset when I think of it. I am going to call my DR. today. To be honest, I don't think I can go back to customer service, but for now I need time to heal. I am struggling in my walk with the LORD. I cant understand, WHY??. IN CHRIST LOVE, ARLENE

CHARLOTTE, I just spoke to my daughter (Carla) and I am so upset. She is in total denial about her anorexia. I fear for her, and her family. She said she wants her husband to move out, cause she cant stand being around him. Charlotte, this whole family is under attack. Please pray the LORD will send the HOLY SPIRIT and claim victory for our HEAVENLY FATHER. May all the Praise and Glory go to our LORD. Carla, said why should I eat and get better???????. I told her I understand she has a problem but this is not the LORD'S will for her to destroy herself and I asked her what about her children. She didn't answer. and I didn't want to pressure her. Please pray the LORD sends HIS angels to protect Jessika and Tommy (spiritually, emotionally and physically). Also lift her husband George before the LORD and that the LORD provides a place for Carla to go for help. They have no insurance (as I mentioned). And pray the LORD will heal that marriage, and give them both the heart, mind, eyes, and ears needed to walk according to HIS will (not the unhealthy one they are following) I am so drained and to be honest with you (and the LORD knows) I can't see any good that will come out of all of this. Sure I realize a lot is brought on by our own choices. But, HE is greater than that and they have accepted JESUS. And my heart aches for all of them (especially Jessika and Tommy).

Charlotte Please continue praying for my Mom and daughter (and family). Also will you pray for me, this Saturday we are going to meet my daughter and son-in-law half way from North Carolina. The children are going to be with us. My husband works so I will have them most of the time. Pray the LORD will give me what I stand in need of to be everything HE wants me to be as I care for them. I feel a little better now that I am not working, but I have a long way to go. I am looking forward to having the children, I pray everyday to be able to share in their daily lives and watch them grow up. But circumstances, I don't understand make that impossible. I struggle with that, I can only assume the LORD knows why. I want to enjoy them while I can, when they come for a visit. HI Charlotte, My mother went to be with the Lord, yes the grief is hard and I have hope in the LORD to bring me comfort, in which HE is giving me now. My daughter is taking it very bad. She came up with her family from North Carolina, one of her children is staying with us for five weeks. I don't know if your daughter told you but I am on temporary disability now,  I truly cannot work with my condition. I am praying for the LORD to supply what we stand in need of. Please pray for my family,  I truly believe the LORD still performs miracles and changes people. I need your prayers for myself, and my children. Heavenly Father I lift up Pastor Ralph Workman to you in prayer. A few weeks ago  he had to have  emergency heart bypass surgery, he survived and is healing very well Another health problem has arisen, his heart has not fully come back into a regular heartbeat and this causes his blood pressure to rise and other problems. The doctors are treating him with medication. Lord I ask that you wrap Pastor Ralph in your arms of love. I ask that you cover him with your healing power from above. I ask that you remove any pain and discomfort that he may be having. I ask that you restore his heart rate to normal and give complete healing to his body. I ask that you strengthen him and I ask for a speedy recovery. I ask that you give comfort and strength to his wife and draw her close to you. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen
Update 12/7/02
Pastor Ralph survived the open heart surgeries doing very well. In fact, due to his having the open heart surgery the doctor found some other critical problems with his heart which had never been detected before. By finding them in time and being able to correct them they prevented a heart failure at some time in the future that would have certainly killed Pastor Ralph. Therefore the open heart surgery was indeed a blessing from GOD which has allowed Pastor Ralph to stay with us here on earth a little longer. One thing that did occur was that Pastor Ralph was forced to retire from the full time ministry due to his heart still having an irregular heart beat. He has been scheduled to go to WV University's Medical Research Center where a doctor wants to try this experiment to "kick" his heart back into a regular rhythms, but Pastor Ralph has not been able to do it. He is doing well, he recovered very quickly and with no complications from the original surgery (PRAISE GOD!). Currently, as GOD permits he will go into the area and preach revivals, but the stress and long duty of being a full time pastor of our church is currently not in GOD's plan. Please continue to pray for Pastor Ralph and his wife, Mert. Mert has severe chronic pain due to back injuries and of course Pastor Ralph wants to continue to serve GOD with all his heart. Also, pray for our church's new pastor, Pastor Brent Null. He was elected by the congregation in the last week of August 2002. The church had many pastors come in and were examined and prayed for, but GOD has desired that Pastor Brent be here now. Please continue to pray for our pastor and his family, our church as we get adapted to the different ways of a new pastor, and the lost souls that we have an outreach to. Please pray for me and my wife Diana. Our health is not very good now, and stress from my job is carried home by me and causes unrest at home.  At work there are some very sinful, evil persons who are seeking to destroy peoples' jobs, careers, and family life. Sin abounds at work, and I pray hard that GOD will remove these people causing these evil, sinful acts, and may they come to know JESUS as their LORD and SAVIOR as a result of their removal. PLEASE PRAY FOR PEACE IN JERUSALEM & ISRAEL, and may all the JEWISH people come to know JESUS as their personal LORD and SAVIOR. May GOD richly bless you from HIS abundance for your love and prayers for others.

If all goes well Norman has a scheduled appointment to see his doctor next Tuesday for a conference to discuss the possibility of having by-pass surgery. Heavenly Father I lift up Payton Bradley to you in prayer. Payton is thirteen months old and she has Down Syndrome. She had heart valve surgery shortly after her birth, and everything seemed OK at first, but now the doctors have found a tiny hole in the value and a small leakage. She is scheduled to have this problem checked again this month to see if the hole has got any larger, if not they will leave it be, but if it has grown they will have to redo the surgery. Lord I ask that you wrap this precious child in your arms of love. I ask that you cover her with your healing power from above. I come before your Heavenly Throne on Payton's behalf, believing that through you all things are possible and I ask that her scheduled test show that the hole in her valve has completely closed and the leakage has stopped. Logan is my granddaughter! Thanks to all the prayers she is doing great now. God does hear and answer prayers. I am so thankful my son and his wife, Logan's parents, are going to church regular, and have become very active in the church. Charlotte I called Dennis and ask him to visit James. He did that this morning and then called me. He had a nice visit and found he had given his life to Jesus. Heavenly Father I lift up Jean Malanga to you in prayer. She had breast cancer  twelve years ago and had her breast completely removed at her request. Recent test show cancer in the other breast, small but deep. Again Jean will request complete removal of the breast. Lord I thank you for bringing her through twelve years cancer free. I just spoke with Jean, she is scheduled for surgery tomorrow at 9:00 AM. She is at peace and has faith that God will see her through just as he did twelve years ago. PRAISE THE LORD!!!!  I spoke with Pastor Malanga early this morning, Jean came through the surgery very well. The entire breast was removed as well as lymph nodes. He said she has been up walking, she can lift her arm and in doing so she Praises The Lord. Thank you for your prayers. In Christ Love Charlotte

Heavenly Father I lift up Eileen to you in prayer. She was recently diagnosed with  pancreatic cancer and she is scheduled to have surgery within the next few days or so. I ask that you wrap Eileen in your arms of love. I ask that you draw her close to you. I ask that you cover her with your healing power from above. Lord I come before your Heavenly Throne on Eileen's behalf, believing that through you all things are possible. I ask that you guide the surgeons hands and bring her safely through, free from complications, with complete removal of all cancer. I ask that she be a testimony to the doctors, medical staff, family, friends and strangers of your healing power and of the power of prayer. I ask that you give comfort to her daughter and loved ones as they await the outcome. I ask that a GOOD REPORT be given. I ask for a speedy recovery. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Eileen will be operated on Wed. the 9th at 11:30. It is a complicated surgery, the tumor will be removed from the pancreas, also part of her stomach and part of her small intestine plus her gallbladder. This will hopefully get all the cancer. She will be in the hospital 10-14 days. The operation lasts 5-6 hours.  She is on prayer chains plus all we know are praying. She will have a MRI just for the pancreas Tuesday morning- have all praying that it will show she is healed. She in God's hands. Without the surgery she had 6-9 months to live. Needless to say we are all in shock.  Have to go- Iona

Eileen came through the surgery OK, for someone her age especially. The tumor was removed and biopsies will be done ( Dr. said it looked like cancer) From what I understood the stomach was left intact but believe part of the small intestine was involved, can't say for sure. Five hours of surgery, the pain is being controlled. It will be awhile before she is able to eat. A tube will take care of that. Please pray that they removed ALL the cancer, a vein is in question. Dr. mentioned radiation and chemotherapy. Please keep the prayers up, the healing will take awhile. She is in God's hands.  Iona

Eileen is getting stronger every day. She probably has about four weeks or so before full recovery. The treatment for cancer could start anytime, will know more after her check-up next week. Pray that the cancer treatment agrees with her. She has been through so much already. You hear so many stories about how sick the treatment makes some people. I try to leave it in God's hands and take it one day at a time. She is so independent , convincing her that she isn't a burden and that I am not tired  is the hardest part at times. She is very special. Keep praying as she has a long way to go. She was told at the hospital that she did much better than most patients with her recovery. We told the Dr. that a lot of prayers were being said and he said-It works ! :) More Later, Iona

Eileen's energy level is still low and she tires easily. They want to start the chemo and radiation this week. She isn't fully recovered and it worries me what the chemo might do to her healing process. It is a fast growing cancer so I can understand why they want to start so soon. Elaine (Eileen's sister) is as sick or sicker than Eileen, she may have cancer also. She is scheduled to see the Dr. Tuesday, February 12th, then we will know for sure. Please pray for both Elaine and Eileen, and pray that Elaine will be saved. For Eileen please pray that the treatment works and that there will be no side effects. Remember the family in prayer as this is a very difficult time for them.

Charlotte, Thanks for asking about Eileen. Prayers are still needed. She has radiation every day with a week off after two weeks. The chemo is once a week with a week off after three treatments. This is a horrible cancer, the cure rate is very low- we pray during all the treatments. Naturally she is very weak and although very hungry has a difficult time eating, usually just tasting. We are trusting the Lord for complete healing-please pray for her as she will not finish treatment until mid-May. Thank You for your prayers , she feels better just knowing prayers are being said for her.

Please pray for  friend "Eileen ". Two years ago she had half her left foot removed (diabetic) and she was just sent to the hospital by her doctor ~ the big toe on her other foot is infected. This poor woman has been thru soooo much. Thanks, Ina
