Heavenly Father I lift up Basil to you in prayer. He had surgery for prostate cancer four or five years ago. The cancer has returned and he is having a difficult time. Lord I ask that you keep Basil in your loving care. I ask that you cover him with your healing power from above. I ask that you destroy all cancer cells within his prostate.  I ask that you draw Basil close to you.  I leave him in your care Lord. I ask for complete healing. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. My dear brother expired at 4 A.M. Monday morning. He will be greatly missed, but our loss; is his and Heaven's Gain. His wishes were granted, he was at home and in his wife's arms. To have had him this long has been a blessing... Heavenly Father I lift up Patti to you in prayer. Patti is twenty years old. She is having a very difficult time with work and with depression. She also has learning difficulties. She has been a Christian for one year and has a strong desire to live fully for Jesus. She is watching as her uncle reverts to old drug habits and is troubled that she is the only remaining family where she is living who still attends church. She lives thousands of miles away from her mother Mary. Mary is very concerned for her daughter. Lord I ask that you wrap this young lady in your arms of love. I ask that you place a hedge of protection around her as the devil steps in and tries to steal her joy. Lord I ask that you give her strength and draw her close to you. I ask that you remove depression and replace with peace and calmness. I ask that you remove the difficulties that she is having with her job. I ask that she excel in her learning abilities. I ask that you give her wisdom and knowledge as she learns your word. I ask that she grows strong in her Christianity. I ask that you draw her Uncle close to you. Heavenly Father I lift up my friend Betty to you in prayer. I don't have to tell you what a wonderful person she is, you already know her Lord. The love that she has for you truly shows and she shares her love for you with all the people she meets. Thank you for crossing her path and mine together She just had an ultra sound done and it showed a mass on her ovary. Now she is having a cat scan done to get a closer look at the mass. The doctors will be doing a biopsy to determine if the mass is cancerous. Lord I ask that you wrap Betty in your arms of love. I ask that no cancer be found. I ask in the name of Jesus Amen.
2/16 Update
Betty is scheduled for a biopsy Tuesday, February 20. She had a test the other day and the doctor said the mass seems to be shrinking, therefore he suspects that it is a benign mass. I went to visit with Betty yesterday she seems to be getting around very well. praise The Lord!  We talked about God and I prayed for her before I left. I went with her daughter who is a very dear friend of mine. Betty has three daughters two of which have fallen away from the Lord and need to get back to church. Please keep them in prayer. 3/25/01 Update
Betty will be returning to her home in North Carolina next week. Her strength is back and she is doing very well. Biopsy came out fine, no cancer found. Praise the Lord! Doctors found that Betty has gall stones, she will be scheduled soon to have them removed. Part of her colon will have to be removed as well. The colon removal will be done after recovery from the gall stone removal. Please keep her in prayer. Thank you. In Christ Love Charlotte
Update 8/14/01
Betty had  twelve inches of her intestines removed, her gall bladder and a growth near her gall bladder removed. No cancer was found PRAISE THE LORD  She was in the hospital for six days. She is staying with her daughter Mary and she is regaining her strength. I will visit with her when she feels up to having me come. She is a wonderful lady, a Christian for many years. Heavenly Father I lift up Lisa to you in prayer. She is twenty-five years old and has been blessed with five children. A few nights ago while at work she went out to fill a propane tank and it blew up in her face. She is not expected to make it and they are saying her brain is gone. Lord I ask that you wrap Lisa in your arms of love. I come before your heavenly throne and ask for a miracle for Lisa. I ask that you cover her with your healing power from above. I ask that you remove any pain that she may be in. I ask that you draw her close to you. I ask that you give comfort to her husband and children during this difficult time. Heavenly Father I lift up my cousin Orilas to you in prayer. He had a stress test a few weeks ago, he didn't last long on the machine. Another test was ordered and the results showed a blockage in one of the arteries. They attempted to put in a "stint" but his veins were too big and it wouldn't take.  They will have to do a by-pass to prevent a severe heart attack.  Because of his condition they will do it after the first of the year. Lord I ask that you keep Orilas in your loving care. I ask that you guide the surgeons hands and bring him safely through with no damage done to the heart. I ask for complete healing. I ask that you give comfort to his loved ones and draw each one close to you. I ask that you draw him close to you. I ask that you place a desire in his heart to seek you and to follow your teachings.  I pray for his salvation. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Orlas will probably be going to Cleveland to let them try to put a shunt in there. The doctor here couldn't manage it as hard as he tried. He is doing good with his sugar especially since he started using the insulin pump. Our daughter Tracy is a nurse on the heart surgery team, she has been the one to talk to the doctors and have them decide on trying Cleveland. All the medical talk is over our head so we thank God for her help. Love Iona

Hi Everyone! Just to keep everyone up to date on my dad.....we had his angio sent to Cleveland Clinic and it was reviewed by a Cardiologist who was recommended by a DR here in Buffalo. As you all must know during his first angio they tried to get a stint in his artery for over an hour, but were unsuccessful, they recommended surgery, but I thought with only one blockage he deserved another chance at a stint. This Dr in Cleveland thinks he can do it.....so please everyone pray that he can! If this is unsuccessful as well, he will have to have surgery, but at least we know we tried. We are leaving Thurs. Feb 15th and the actual angio will be done on Fri the 16th. So please keep him in your prayers!   Thanks Tracy

Orilas did great with the stents! The Dr. in Cleveland managed to do it. All the prayers that were said for him helped the Dr. How wonderful!.

Heavenly Father I lift up Matthew to you in prayer. This precious child is only eighteen months old. He had to go to the hospital a few days ago I don't know the full details of his illness. Lord I ask that you wrap this precious child in your arms of love. I ask that whatever the illness you guide the doctors and medical staff as they administer care to him. I ask that nothing serious be found. I ask that you comfort his parents and draw them close to you. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen. 

Heavenly Father I lift up John to you in prayer. He is in his mid twenties and went into a coma last week. He has a wife (Heather) and a two year old son (Josh). They think that the coma stems from heart problems. The doctors ran an EEG and said that if he ever regains consciousness he will probably be left with severe brain damage. His organs are starting to fail and they do not expect him to live. Lord I ask that you keep John in your loving care. I come before your throne and I ask for a miracle. I ask that you bring John out of coma with a fully functioning brain. I ask that you restore his organs to normal. I ask that you give comfort to his wife Heather and draw her close to you. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Heavenly Father I lift up the family of Bobby Blaire to you in prayer. Their oldest daughter Tara, twenty-four years old was killed in a car a few days ago. Father as this is the season of family gatherings and a time of joy in celebration of Jesus our Lord and Savior, this is a sad time for this family. Lord I ask that you wrap this family in your arms of love. I ask that you draw each one close to you. I ask that you give them comfort as they mourn the death of their beloved Tara. I ask that the memory of her will stay forever fresh within their hearts. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Heavenly Father I lift up Jerrilynn and her family to you in prayer.  Her nephew Kevin has cystic fibrosis and he has lived long past his prognosis. He is battling pains and lack of breath due to low oxygen levels in his blood from his diseased lungs. His life has had other "diseases" in it as well. He has been displaced most of his life. He has felt the wounds of rejection, bitterness, discouragement, helplessness and hopelessness. His biological father (Jerrilynn's brother) is filled with fears, arrogance, and hatred. He has a new child in his life. Another brother Peter has a brain tumor, this has led him to humble himself before you Lord. Lord I ask that you wrap Jerrilynn in your arms of love and give her much needed comfort as she battles the hurt in seeing her family this way. She is certainly carrying a full load right now.  I ask that you take away Kevin's feelings of rejection, bitterness, helplessness and hopelessness and replace those feelings with a desire to seek you. Only in you Lord will he ever find comfort and be able to get past these feelings. I ask that you draw him close to you. I ask that you open his lungs and restore his oxygen level to normal. I come before your throne and ask for complete healing for this man both spiritually and physically. I pray for the salvation of this hurting soul Lord. I ask that you draw his stepfather, mother and step brother close to you. I ask that you draw his father close to you. I ask that you remove fear, arrogance and hatred from his life. I ask that you replace the fear with peace and calmness. I ask that you replace the arrogance with humbleness. I ask that you place a desire in him to reach out with love and overcome the hatred. I ask that you place a desire within his heart to seek you Lord, I pray for his salvation. I ask that you renew in him a clean heart. I pray that all of this bitterness resolves before his new child grows up. I pray that this child will grow up knowing your ways Lord and lives a life that will be pleasing to you. I ask that you keep Peter in your loving care. I ask that you remove the tumor that is growing in his brain. I thank you that he is growing close to you as I ask of you Lord.  I ask that through his illness and the changes that he has made in his life his family will be so inspired that each one will draw close to you.  I pray for the salvation of this entire family. I pray that you pour out your Holy Spirit upon each household and bring them to their knees in repentance and lead them to a new life in Christ.  I ask that you fill their hearts with love for one another. I ask that you bring this family together. I ask in the name of Jesus my Lord and my Savior. Amen.

Heavenly Father I lift up the Pine Ridge Reservation Area of NE to you in prayer. Lord the people there who seek you need to be sent a spirit filled Pastor. One who is on fire for you Lord, one who will inspire them to learn of your ways. I ask that you place a Pastor there for them. I ask that you pour out your Holy Spirit and bring revival. Heavenly Father I lift up Joshua to you in prayer. This precious child is only two years old and has been diagnosed with retinoblastoma, cancer of the eye. He is scheduled to have his eye removed Wednesday, December 20. His mother is driving him from their home in Wichita, Kansas to Memphis, Tennessee to get a second opinion at St. Jude Hospital today. They do not have medical insurance. Lord I ask that you wrap this precious child in your arms of love. I ask that you cover him with your healing power from above. I ask that no cancer be found in the results of the second opinion. I ask that you give comfort to his mother during this difficult time and draw her close to you. I ask for complete healing. I ask that provisions be made to cover all medical cost. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Joshua has been accepted into St. Jude's program. They have done an evaluation and told them they can go home Friday for Christmas. They will have to return to St. Jude's within two weeks for surgery to remove his eye and any further treatment that will be needed afterwards. Joshua has never been to the doctor before all of this and is very afraid., his Mom is also afraid. She flew to Memphis instead of driving and now will have to pay $150 to change her tickets to get home for Christmas. Please pray continue in lifting Joshua up to the Lord. With the surgery delayed for as long as two weeks, there is time for lots of prayer! :-) Thanks Amy

Joshua Edwards, the precious two-year old, underwent surgery to remove his right eye. At the time this communication is being sent, he and his parents are returning from St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis to their home in KS. Answers to the prayers for this family have been overwhelming. It is likely that answers will continue long after those of us in Memphis remember Joshua. This has been the prayer heard around the world. This story is not over. Do not forget the Edwards family. There are more tests ahead, and the possibility of cancer occurring in Joshua's remaining eye exists. I had hoped to forward more news from Dr. Wilson, the surgeon from St. Jude, but since there has been no release signed approving general information, we must rely upon the secondhand variety. Thanks to all who have lifted this family in prayer and donations.

Donato passed away two months ago. Thank you for your prayers for him. Please keep his sister Joellen in prayer. She has really had a lot of tragedy in her life. HEAVENLY FATHER I LIFT UP VICKI TO YOU IN PRAYER. SHE WAS BROUGHT HOME THREE TIMES THIS WEEK FROM WORK WITH EXCRUCIATING HEADACHES. THESE HEADACHES HAVE BEEN GOING ON FOR A LONG TIME NOW AND EACH TIME IT IS "TAKE ANOTHER PILL OR SHE IS GIVEN ANOTHER PRESCRIPTION, OR BEING TOLD TO SEE A THERAPIST. INSTEAD OF DOING TEST SUCH AS AN MRI OR CAT SCAN, THE DR. JUST BELIEVES THEY ARE HEREDITARY. SHE LOOKS TERRIBLE AND HER BLOOD PRESSURE WAS SO HIGH AT THE DOCTORS OFFICE THEY HAD TO CALL FOR SOMEONE TO PICK HER UP. SHE HAS ENDURED A LOT OF HEARTACHES OVER THE PAST TEN YEARS. SHE IS BEGINNING TO GET HER LIFE BACK ON TRACK WITH YOU LORD AND ATTENDS CHURCH. SHE USED TO COUNSEL YOUTH AND SHE AND HER HUSBAND HAD SUCH A LOVE FOR THE KIDS. LORD I ASK THAT YOU WRAP VICKI IN YOUR ARMS OF LOVE. I ASK THAT YOU DIRECT HER TO FINDING ANOTHER DOCTOR, ONE WHO WILL RUN NECESSARY TEST TO SEE IF A CAUSE CAN BE FOUND FOR HER HEADACHES. Heavenly Father I lift up Glen to you in prayer. He had brain surgery over five months ago to reverse epilepsy. Although he no longer has epilepsy, since having the surgery he has had terrible vision and hearing problems which has left him impaired to the degree that he can no longer drive. Lord I praise you and I thank you that he no longer has epilepsy. I come before your heavenly throne once again Lord and ask that you cover Glen with your healing power. I ask that you restore his vision and his hearing. I ask that you draw him close to you. I ask that you comfort his mother who loves him so very much. Lord I leave Glen in your care. I ask for complete healing. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen

Heavenly Father I lift up Mary's husband to you in prayer. He has a lot of health problems to deal with. At the age of four he developed polio which left him disabled. Recently he went to see a specialist and was told that the tissue in his spin is deteriorating. The right side is all bone now-no tissue. He has arthritis, his knee caps are deteriorating and he also had cancer on his face that has returned. He is in constant pain and in need of a wheel chair. Lord I ask that you keep him in your loving care. I ask that you draw him close to you. I ask that you remove the cancer from his face. I ask that you heal his body and stop the deterioration that is causing him so much pain. I ask that you restore his knee caps. I ask that you cover him with your healing power from above. I ask for complete healing. I ask that there be no need of a wheel chair. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Heavenly Father I lift up Bill to you in prayer. Something was found out about his heart, that it wasn't getting blood to certain places. He is scheduled to have a cauterization done on Monday, December 11 to find the problem. Lord I ask that you keep Bill in your loving care. I ask that the test result tomorrow on his heart show nothing of a serious nature. I ask  that the blood flow be restored to normal. I ask that you draw Bill close to  you. I ask that you give comfort to him during the test tomorrow. I ask for  complete healing. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Heavenly Father I lift up Karen to you in prayer. Her mother passed away just before Thanksgiving.  Karen is trying to help her father with the things that need to be taken care of. She has asked her sisters to help go through their mothers belongings. They are not wanting to do this. Karen's father wants this taken care of during the time they all are there through the Christmas Holidays. Karen is very drained at this time both emotionally and physically.  I ask that you place upon the daughters hearts to respect their father's wishes. Lord I ask that you give this family comfort during this difficult time. I ask that you wrap them in your arms of love as they mourn the absence of their mother. I ask that you draw them close to you. I ask that you comfort them as they sort through their mother's belongings as I know it will be a sad time for them. Her belongings hold also memories of her, a dress, a piece of jewelry, a picture etc. May the memories of their mother be forever fresh in their minds, until they meet again in your eternal home. I ask that you give strength and comfort to each one. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Heavenly Father I lift up Karen to you in prayer. She is sixteen years old and has been diagnosed with Lyme's Disease. According to her symptoms she is in stage three of the disease. The disease is now in her joints which is not good. Karen was given antibiotics, but after consulting another doctor yesterday evening, she was told that she should not take the medication until another test has been done. The health department will test Karen again since sometimes the results are wrong. Lord I ask that you wrap Karen in your arms of love. I ask that you draw her close to you. I ask that whatever is found to be the result of Karen's symptoms be treatable. I ask that you give comfort to her mother Brenda during this difficult time. I ask that you draw her close to you. I ask that you heal Karen completely. I leave her in your loving care. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Heavenly Father I lift up Brenda to you in prayer. She is scheduled for test today to determine what kind of damage has been done to a disc in her back. The doctors are going to put dye in her spine because the MRI did not give a good enough picture of the damage. She is in a tremendous lot of pain. After she takes her pain pill in the morning, it takes over two hours before she can get out of bed. Lord I ask that you wrap Brenda in your arms of love. I know her pain as I have a herniated disc and the pain is unbearable. I ask that you bring her through the test with no complications and a clear image of what is causing her pain. I ask that nothing be found that is not treatable. If surgery is the only alternative to relieving her pain I ask that you place her with the best surgeon. I ask that you comfort Brenda, I ask that you relieve her of any pain that she is having. I ask that you draw her close to you. Lord I ask that healing come from you without the need for surgery. I ask for complete healing. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Heavenly Father I lift up Sheyla to you in prayer. She is having problems with her blood count and her heart. She has been in and out of the hospital and she is feeling very weak. Lord I ask that you wrap Sheyla in your arms of love. I ask that you restore her blood count to normal. I ask that you return her heart to normal functioning. I ask that you give strength to her weakened body. I ask that that you draw her close to you. I ask for complete healing. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.   

Heavenly Father I lift up Katie to you in prayer. She is ten years old and dreams of becoming a missionary one day. Katie has aides due to being attacked a year ago. The man who attacked this precious child is in prison now. Katie is not doing well at the present time. Her doctor said her cell count is down to 60 and will go lower. There is nothing more he can do for her. He has given her three months. Lord I bring Katie before your throne. I ask that you wrap this precious child in your arms of love. I ask that you give her comfort and remove any pain that she may be having. I ask that you give comfort to her mother Tammy during this difficult time. Heavenly Father I lift up my cousin Glenna to you in prayer. Glenna had ovarian cancer  years ago and now cancer has reappeared.  It has settled close to her liver. She has been on chemotherapy treatments every week. I just got word tonight that the doctor's have given her one or maybe two more weeks to live. Lord I ask that you wrap Glenna in your arms of love. I ask that you comfort her and remove any pain that she may be having. I ask that you remove the cancer from her body. I ask that you draw her close to you. I ask that you give comfort to her husband and family and comfort them during this difficult time. Her brother Darrell is not well and just got out of the hospital. His heart is very bad and he recently had his leg amputated due to poor circulation. Lord I ask that you comfort him and give him strength to get through this. Glenna went home to be with the Lord today. She is now united with her loved ones. We will miss her but we know that she is in Heaven at peace and free from all pain and suffering. Thank you for your prayers. Please keep the family in prayer.

Heavenly Father I lift up a wife and mother to you in prayer. I don't know who she is Lord but you do. She requested prayer for her husband and children as she is contemplating suicide. She says that her life has spiraled out of control and that she no longer feels like living and ask concerning her husband and children" please pray that they will be all right when I take my leave of this planet. Heavenly Father I lift up Maria to you in prayer. She is having an anxiety attack almost every day now. She is burdened down with a heavy load to carry right now. Her job is on the line. Monday she is scheduled to meet with the principal and he will decide if she goes or stays. She feels that false accusations against her are allowing him to make a decision with no compassion, not understanding her situation or giving her a chance to hear her side etc. Lord I don't know the full details of the situation but I know that you do. I ask that you intervene, I ask that you open the principal's heart to allow Maria to tell him her side of the story concerning this matter. I ask that you draw Maria close to you. I ask that you remove all feelings of fear and anxiety from her and replace them with calmness. The school decided to  KEEP ME  there, according to the principal and other teachers the plan of assistance was successfully completed. This child had surgery for removal of the tumor but total removal was not achieved. He is now undergoing chemotherapy. As we all know these treatments can make a person very ill. Lord I ask that you wrap this child in your arms of love. I ask that you remove the rest of the tumor that he has in his brain. Heavenly Father I lift up Pastor Bob's wife to you in prayer. She is in a Hospice Hospital and she has pulmonary fibrosis. Last week the staff advised the family that she was getting to the stage where she could have a stroke or heart attack at any time due to her blood oxygen level and the heavy burden on her heart. She had an especially good day yesterday and sent Pastor Bob home to take care of some errands and to get some sleep in his own bed. At the age of sixty-seven he doesn't sleep well in the chair that folds out to make a bed in her room. This morning the staff at Hospice called him to hurry over because she was having a lot of trouble breathing. At noon she was alert but still having trouble breathing. Lord I ask that you wrap pastor Bob's wife in your arms of love. I ask that you draw her close to you. I ask that you lift the heavy burden that she is carrying. I ask that you comfort her and restore her blood oxygen level to normal. I ask that you open her lungs that she may breathe. I ask that you restore her heart and make it strong. I ask that you give comfort to Pastor Bob and the family. I ask that you give him strength as he goes through this difficult time seeing his wife suffer. Thank you for the prayer support.  I must assume that you received the second message telling that she is in Heaven.  We consider that to be the ultimate of complete healing and the Prize of the Race that we are running. She was first diagnosed in February of '99 and told then that she might have six months left.  We can only thank the Lord for the "extra time" we were blessed to have her here among us.  Her life was a glowing testimony to Him to the very end.  Yesterday a new nurse came into her room on an errand and after a couple of minutes, she stopped what she was doing and looked all around the room and said, "This room is filled with love.  I can feel such Love here!" Bev told her it was the Love of Jesus and of all her friends who shared in His Love. Thank you again for the prayer support. Judy



Heavenly father I lift up Brooke to you in prayer. She is eight and a half months pregnant and has been diagnosed with toxemia. She is retaining a lot of fluid and the doctor has ordered total bed rest for her. The doctors have told her that it would be very dangerous for her and the baby if it were born right now. Lord I ask that you wrap Brooke and her precious child she is carrying in you loving arms. I ask that you place a hedge of protection around them. Heavenly Father I lift up Michael to you in prayer. He is seventeen years old and he is traveling down the road of self destruction. Last week he was expelled from school, he would have graduated next year but he was caught buying dope, drinking, smoking, and was caught driving drunk. He will not listen to his Mom or dad. His Mom has been to a lawyer, a counselor and a judge to see if they can offer any help in this situation. They offered no assistance. Her husband offers no help either. A court appearance is scheduled for December 7 concerning the charge of driving while intoxicated. Michael comes from a good Christian home, he was raised going to Church. He certainly knows right from wrong. Lord I ask that you keep Michael in your loving care. I ask that you place a hedge of protection around him. I ask that you draw him close to you. I ask that his court appearance result in getting assistance for Michael. I ask that you place him where he will be able to get help for his destructive ways. I ask that you place a desire in him that will make him want to change and straighten his life out. I ask that you place him on the road of righteousness. I ask that you give comfort to his mother who loves and cares for the well being of her son. A mother who wants him to better himself and to go forward in life living righteous. Heavenly Father I lift up Stacey to you in prayer. Stacey is only eight weeks pregnant and scared of having pains. She and her husband Curt have waited on this baby for so long. Heavenly father I lift up Eunice to you in prayer. She and her husband lived in Switzerland. Her husband lost his job there due to fellow South Africans who spread lies about them. They were there for seventeen months. Her husband was involved in the planning of a contract and was also head of the project. They were supposed to stay there for another year or so and finish the contract but it was broken due to all of the lies that were spread. Eunice became depressed over the winter and as time went by her depression grew worse. When she heard that they had to come back and work she had a nervous breakdown and ended up in the hospital. The hospital staff were told that she and her husband were unemployed and only visitors in Switzerland. They were asked to leave. They are presently in Johannesburg. Eunice had to go straight to the hospital upon arrival there for treatment.  At the present time she is not in good health. She feels that the main reason that led to all of their problems is the fact that they are Christians and that they prayed a lot for the safety of the people on the contract. She has endured much suffering to enable her husband to do his best for the Swiss Government. The government was very good to them and tried to keep them working there. Their own company treated them very bad.  It was difficult for her to be housebound for such a long length of time. She had polio as a child, and has been in a wheelchair since the age of nine. They lived on a very high steep mountain and she could not leave the house on her own. So much snow during the winter she seldom went out. Her husband wants to take this matter further because they lost a lot of money due to the breaking of the contract. Both Eunice and her husband have been Christians for thirty years. Lord I ask that you keep them in your loving care. I ask that you direct them in whatever decisions have to be made. They are not seeking revenge but only desire justice. Lord I ask that justice prevail concerning this situation. I ask that you draw both Eunice and her husband close to you. I ask for reconciliation and forgiveness to ensue. I ask that you strengthen Eunice, I ask that you remove her depression and replace it with joy. I ask in the name of Jesus. amen.

We have been through very tough times lately. We were treated very unjustly while we lived and worked in Switzerland. My husband Hannes, had been with his previous Firm for over 30 years, and headed a very big project. We were to stay for seven years and complete the Gotthard Tunnel Project, but a colleague of the previous firm made it absolutely terrible for us. This man called us back and made things so bad, that Hannes left. The company owes us for the shipment of our belongings and airplane tickets from to Switzerland and back to South Africa. Hannes use to work between twelve and sixteen hours a day, seven days a week. It was extremely difficult for me, especially in the beginning.  I could not speak German then and had no friends. Our house was the second last house on a very high and steep mountain, and there was no way in which I could leave the house. Nothing in Switzerland is really wheelchair friendly enough!  The country is absolutely picturesque and I use to refer to my place as living in God's Garden!  When winter came, I was even more housebound.  I had a very tiny little veranda, but due to the snow, I could not use it.  It gets dark very early in the afternoon, and my days alone at home felt even longer.  I became very depressed, to such a state that I was hospitalized.  It was during this time that we were very ill treated.  A person from the SA side, also living in Switzerland and working as the liaison Officer let the Hospital know that my husband was not employed by the previous firm!  We were supposedly to be on holiday only!  The Hospital authorities asked me to leave immediately, as we would not be covered to the medical aid.  It later came out that I was never registered and was indeed not covered by our medical aid, due to the firms negligence!  The Swiss people were wonderful to us, from the start, and couldn't believe what we had to tell.  We were offered a paid-for Holiday by the Swiss. They knew about the fact that I had not left the house for weeks on end and that I hadn't seen much of their beautiful country. On arriving back in Johannesburg, I was admitted back to the Hospital.  I have been taking medication for nine months, and will remain on treatment for a rather lengthy time. The almost two years at home alone, took its toll on me.  My husbands contract was broken, we lost much money, but God has been wonderful to us. My husband is now employed by an International Firm, he handles Director National and International Contracts, and is very happy in his new position. Please pray that the people who owe us the money will pay, they are offering to pay only forty-percent of what is owed to us. These people are spreading lies about Hannes in order to put him in a bad light here and abroad.  We know that prayer changes things!  We are exited by the thought that God is going to intercede. We live in a Townhouse complex here, and we would be happy enough, if it weren't for the stairs. Can you help us pray that we could be moved where there are no stairs. Thank you for your prayers. Heavenly Father I lift up Steve to you in prayer. He fell a few weeks ago in his home and damaged his neck causing a pinched nerve. The severe pain that he has as a result limits his movement. He has been off work for three weeks and has now been released since he can't do the job. He was told to collect unemployment, which is only a percentage of what he used to make. Prior to all of this their financial situation was not good. Lord I ask that you keep Steve and his family in your loving care. Because of Steve's fall he not only has health problems but added as well is the burden of finances. Lord I ask that you heal the pinched nerve in Steve's neck. I ask that provisions be made for the family financially. I ask that you draw each one close to you. I ask for complete healing. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Heavenly father I lift up Jo-Jo to you in prayer. She was kidnapped by her father on November 24, she is three years old. Her father is an American citizen, but was born in and has citizenship in Mexico. The man is a heavy drinker with a violent temper, who has beat Jo-Jo's Mom on several occasions. Lord I ask that you wrap this precious little girl in your arms of love. I ask that you place a hedge of protection around her and keep her safe from harm. I ask that you intervene and give guidance to the authorities in locating this child. I ask that you give comfort to her mother as she waits to hear if her daughter has been found. Heavenly Father I lift up my daughter Dorothy to you in prayer. I thank you for her Lord, she is a wonderful daughter and I love her dearly. I ask that you keep her in your loving care. She has had psoriasis for quite some time now. Yesterday she came home from work early because her feet were so bad.  She has open sores on the soles of her feet and they are very itchy. The palms of her hands are covered with dry itchy scales. I made an appointment for her with her dermatologist, turns out she has an infection on her feet a result of the psoriasis. He prescribed an antibiotic and a new medication. She has been on so many medications none of which seemed to be working.  I ask that you heal her completely from this disease. Lord I thank you for her salvation, so wonderful to see her walk in your ways for the past six years. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Heavenly Father I lift up the family of Kile Williams to you in prayer. This precious child was killed in a car accident and died in his mother's arms. He was only three years old. Lord I ask that you wrap his mother and loved ones in your arms of love. May they know that Kyle is never far away for his love and memories he left them until they meet again in your eternal home. Heavenly Father I lift up Meda's sister and brother-in-law to you in prayer. Her brother-in-law had triple bypass heart surgery Sunday. Her sister has no relatives to be there for her and Meda's financial situation won't permit her to travel there to be with her. The brother-in-law just lost his brother to suicide which I'm sure was very difficult for him. Both Meda's sister and brother-in-law aren't saved. Lord I ask that you keep them in your loving care. I ask that you draw them close to you. I ask that you bring Meda's brother-in-law safely through recovery with complete healing. I ask that you place a desire in their hearts to seek you Lord. I ask that you place Christians in their path to teach them your ways. I pray for their salvation. I ask that you give comfort and strength to Meda's sister. Heavenly Father I lift up Meda's eldest daughter to you in prayer. She was taken to the John Hopkins Hospital. She is almost seven months pregnant and her cervix has thinned out and has dilated. It is to soon for the baby to be born. The contractions need to be stopped until at least six weeks before her due date if the baby is to make it. She has a five year old son and this baby is a girl. Lord I ask that you wrap her in your arms of love and bring her through this pregnancy safely. I ask that the precious little girl that you have placed in her womb be born healthy and strong. I ask that you draw her close to you Lord. I ask that you comfort her. I ask that you place a desire in her heart to know you. Michelle is doing better, she recently found out she is pregnant and the baby is due in Sep. Oct. time frame. She has blessed us with two beautiful grandchildren already, a boy Ryan is now seven, a girl Destinie ( the one that was prayed for in November 2000 now two) Praise the Lord!  I just pray this pregnancy goes well as she has some health problems and was told not to get pregnant again but we both believe there is a reason for all that happens in our lives. Thought I'd answer your e-mail and give you an update on my niece. She is still with her husband the doctors at Path Ways told her she is suffering with."Bi-Polar Disorder", a form of depression. I don't understand why so many woman stay in an abusive relationship, the men keeps saying "I'll change" but they only change until the next time it happens. Please keep her in your prayers.

Lord the music in this world is becoming more and more evil. Lyrics of hate, sex, suicide etc. The youth are becoming more and more influenced by these songs and the performers. Heavenly Father I lift up the Glover family to you in prayer. Their daughter Deborah shot herself last week, she was only twenty years old. Her family stated that she came home, went into her bedroom and started listening to a Marilyn Manson CD.  Not long after that she shot herself through the head.  The lyrics of his songs are not morally fit to be heard by anyone's ears. The cremation service is to be held tomorrow morning at 10 AM.  I ask that you comfort this grieving family and wrap them in your arms of love. I ask that you draw each one close to you. Heavenly Father I lift up Alexander to you in prayer. He is only five years old and he has a rare disease called Mitochondrial Encephalopathy Lactic Acidosis. He has severe seizures and a heart condition. He also is hypoglycemic and a year ago had to have a feeding tube surgically placed. With his disease his cells do not absorb nutrients from the food he eats to keep his vital organs functioning properly. Heavenly Father I lift up Alexander to you in prayer. He is very weak and won't eat anything by mouth. He has a bad infection caused from his feeding tube. His parents can't get him in to see a specialist until Wednesday. The doctors have told them in the past that when it is time for Alexander to go that he would give up eating first. They told them that no matter what they put through his feeding tube it wont help, and that his organs will just begin to shut down. Lord with all of this in their minds right now they are afraid that they may be losing little Alexander. Lord I ask that you wrap this precious little child and his parents in your arms of love. I ask that you comfort them and draw each one close to you. I ask that you direct the specialist in administering medication that will eradicate the infection. I ask that you give strength to his weakened body. I ask that you heal Alexander completely. I ask in the name of Jesus.

Thank you all for praying and those that fasted for Alexander.  Today he seems to be responding to the antibiotic.  He is trying to eat some baby food and Popsicles.  It is a start and with that I know it is the Lords will for him to get better. 1/30/01 Update Alexander is on another medication. His blood work was not good. We have  to take him to see his specialist. They said that he does not have a virus.  It could be the disease working on his body again. Heavenly Father I lift up a mother and son to you in prayer. They were staying in a hotel, the mother went into the room to put something away and when she came out her son was missing. He is only two and a half years old. There is a pond nearby the hotel. Lord I ask that you wrap this precious child in your arms of love. I ask that you place a hedge of protection around him.  Heavenly Father I lift this woman up to you in prayer. She did not leave her name and that's OK Lord because you know who she is. She is having a hard time dealing with the loss of her parents, grandmother, brother-in-law and two of her very dear friends. They all passed on this year. She mourns their absence here. Lord I ask that you keep forever fresh the memories of them within her heart. May she know that they will never be far away for their love and memories are left here with her, until they meet again in your eternal home. Also she is having health problems and test will probably be scheduled for next week to determine what is the cause of her problems. Lord I ask that you keep her in your loving care. I ask that nothing serious be found from the result of her test. I ask that you give her comfort and strength through this difficult time in her life. Her son who is thirty-one will possibly be having major surgery on his heart some time in the month of December. He has Cerebral Palsy and a pace maker. When he was born the doctors said that he would only live until the age of five. Lord he is your miracle and we thank you for the thirty-one years you have given him of life. Lord I ask that you keep this man in your loving care. I ask that you cover him with your healing power from above. If it's your will that he be healed through the hands of a surgeon, I ask that you bring him through safely with no complications. I ask that his heart be functioning well and strong.  Heavenly Father I lift up Maria to you in prayer. She has been having anxiety attacks since Sunday. They have been so bad that she had to go to the emergency room. I have never had these attacks but I know several people who have and I was around a young lady during one. Not pleasant at all to see so I can't imagine actually having one. Lord I ask that you keep Maria in your loving care. I ask that you remove these attacks from her and replace them with calmness. I ask that you draw her close to you. I ask that you draw her family close to you for they are in the need of salvation. I ask that you place a desire in their hearts to seek you Lord and to learn of your teachings. Heavenly Father I lift up my cousins Orilas and George to you in prayer. Both of them are getting up there in age. Orilas is sixty-eight and George is  sixty-one. Lord I ask that you place a desire in their hearts to know you. They know the gospel of Jesus for it has been shared with them. Heavenly Father I lift up Teresa James to you in prayer. I ask that you draw her close to you Lord. She is feeling your presence and feeling the need to seek you. Heavenly Father I lift up Scott's Dad to you in prayer. He preaches in a Church, prisons and at a homeless shelter. Amidst all his activity he has a very bad heart. The doctors have told him that only half of his heart is functioning. Lord I ask that you keep this faithful servant in your loving care. I ask that you cover him with your healing power. I ask that you restore his heart to functioning fully, so he can continue in his ministry. Lord he is needed to carry the good news of Christ into the prisons and into the homeless shelters. Heavenly Father I lift up Sister Hale to you in prayer. She has worked in Haiti for many years. She was over there full time a few years ago, and since goes over nearly every year. She has contracted Malaria transmitted by mosquitoes which are very prevalent there. Her temperature has been up to 103 degrees and then to back to normal. She also has other problems. Lord I ask that you keep Sister Hale in your loving care. I ask that no complications arise from the malaria. I ask that she be able to continue her work in Haiti. I ask for complete healing and that you give strength to her body. I place her in your care Lord. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Heavenly Father I lift up the mother and loved ones of Tracie to you in prayer. Tracie was killed in a car accident April 2, 2000. Her memory is still so fresh within their hearts. They miss the presence of this lovely young lady. Lord I ask that you give comfort to them. I ask that their memories will remain ever so fresh of the wonderful time that you gave them to have with Tracie. May they always know that she will never be far away from them. Heavenly Father I lift up my friend and sister in Christ to you in prayer. Katherine has had quite a few health problems over the years. One being anxiety attacks which you delivered her from. Thank you Lord. Now her blood pressure has been out of control for quite a while. The doctor has prescribed many different medications for her, none of which are helping to lower her pressure. She is currently taking four different medications and still no results. In trying to find if there is an underlying problem causing a rise in her pressure, she will be having some test done on Friday, November 17. She is also scheduled to see a gynecologist on November 29 due to another health concern. Lord I ask that you keep Katherine in your loving care. I ask that you guide those who will be doing the test. I ask that if there is a problem causing the rise in her pressure that it be found. I ask that nothing serious be found that is not treatable with medications. I ask that she receive a good report on the test that will be ran the 29th. I ask that no cancer be found. Heavenly Father I lift up Pearline to you in prayer. She sprained her ankle recently and she is in a wheel chair now until it heals. She is an alcoholic. She quit drinking for a while but has now returned to it. She hasn't seen a doctor in quite a few years to have a complete physical done. Her daughter Loretta is concerned about her health as well as her drinking problem. Lord I ask that you keep Pearline in your loving care. I ask that you heal her ankle and get her back on her feet soon. I ask that you remove the desire for alcohol from her. I ask that you replace that desire with a desire to know you Lord. I ask that you place her in the care of a good doctor who can do a physical on her to make sure there are no problems concerning her health as the result of her long term drinking problem. HALEY IMPROVES!!!!!!
Date: 11/14/00 4:34:50 PM Eastern Standard Time Dear Prayer Warriors, I wanted to let you know how Haley "Izzy" is doing. Last week they seen an improvement in her when her seizures dropped from 6 a day to 2 then 0!!!! We Thanked God right then! Then they gave her some soy milk through a tube and she kept it down. I knew this was a good sign! (She weighs about 6 pounds.) On Monday they moved her to her own room!!  She has a tube down her throat and an IV. She is still heavily sedated but isn't that something!!!  God id so good and merciful! We don't know how she is as far as being normal but we have faith that God has healed her little body. Thanks to everybody's prayer. It made a difference. She wasn't even supposed to live. Sorry I haven't wrote sooner. I read these prayers, cry and print them out. There have been so many. Thank everyone you know from the bottom of my heart. I know that God has heard you!!!!!! This is when you know that Prayer Works Miracles!!!! I pray that God Blesses each one of you!! Heavenly Father I lift up Brenda to you in prayer. She has been having pain underneath both sides of her rib cage. She is also having severe leg cramps in her muscles. The pain is so bad at times she can hardly breathe. She has no insurance to cover any medical needs. Lord I ask that you keep Brenda in your loving care. The cost of an office visit to see a doctor is so expensive and with no insurance it would be very hard on Brenda financially. I ask that you remove all pain that she is having. 11/15 Update
Charlotte, ....I am feeling so much better. Several friends informed me that my potassium may be low. I started on orange juice a few days ago. The pain  under my rib cage was like a charlie horse, it felt horrible. It felt as if my breath was being cut off completely. So many people have been praying for  me and I am very THANKFUL. Compared to how I was I am now 99% better, other than normal pains. I THANK THE LORD AND I THANK ALL WHO PRAYED FOR ME. GOD BLESS/BRENDA

Heavenly Father I lift up my friend Edith to you in prayer. She is scheduled to have surgery Thursday, November 15. She will be having gall stones removed and a hernia repair. Edith came through the surgery really good. She was home two days later. Just called her again yesterday and she is doing great. She wishes to say thank you to everyone for your prayers! Praise The Lord!

Heavenly Father I lift up Dan to you in prayer. He is forty-two years old and in need of a heart transplant. His heart is only functioning at 25%. Lord I ask that you keep Dan in your loving care. I ask that you give comfort to his wife and children as they go through the stress of waiting on a heart so Dan can have the transplant done. I ask that a transplant not be needed, I ask that you heal him and restore his heart to normal. I ask that you draw Dan, his wife and his children close to you. Heavenly father I lift up Harlean's family to you in prayer. Their sister Jean has been diagnosed with a brain tumor. First Harlean chatted with Jean briefly on the computer, she complained of a migraine and got off. Later on in the day Jean talked with her daughter on the phone who sensed that something was wrong. Her daughter immediately called her brother who lives close by and he went over to her house. As soon as he arrived he could tell that Jean needed immediate medical attention. During their conversation she made no sense at all. He thought she was having a stroke. He got her help and she was diagnosed very quickly. They are now awaiting to see how serious and when and if surgery will be done. She has been under a lot of stress having to care for her husband who is completely disabled. Their son is there with him now. Her husband has been on the waiting list for a nursing home for quite some time now. Depending on the outcome Harlean may have to go to be with her Jean. She has grandchildren and great grandchildren that she takes care of and provisions will have to be made for them. Jean lives in Newfoundland and Harlean lives in North Carolina. Lord I thank you for placing Jean's family in place to be there to help her. I thank you that a diagnosis was determined so quickly. I ask that you wrap her in your arms of love. If she needs surgery I ask that you guide the surgeons hands and bring her safely through with no complications. I ask that no cancer be found in the tumor. I ask for a speedy recovery. I ask that you give comfort to her family. I ask for safe travel for those who will be going to Newfoundland. I ask that you keep the family in your loving care and draw each one close to you. I ask that you be with her son who is taking care of her husband while she's away. I ask that you provide a good nursing home for him where he will receive good care. 12/12/ Update
Kay and I went to the cancer clinic about 2 PM and didn't get away until almost 5 PM. That time was spent mostly waiting. Jean is now prepared for her treatments and they will start on Thursday about 3:30 PM. She is of good spirits but the outcome is only to relieve her of pressure and make her a bit more comfortable. One tumor is big and the doctor said there is really nowhere else for it to grow inside her brain. If it were in her stomach or somewhere else than it would have been different. They only could get very little of the tumor as it is imbedded in her brain. The other tumor would be almost impossible to remove. Anymore surgery would have only created a lot more problems. Jean she could go down hill at a fast rate at anytime and, after talking with the doctor I sense she won't be around if she can make it through the summer. She seems aware of how serious her problem is, but she doesn't seem to know of any time limit. It seems she just hopes for more time. She smiled and laughed and made jokes there today. The doctor said she doesn't need to know of any limit. Let her have some hope and things will be a little easier for her. He said it is good to joke with her and make her laugh. It also hurts Elaine (her daughter) to talk about a time limit. Elaine is doing all that she can and she is putting her whole self into it and a lot of what she is doing is of Jeans requests. The main thing is Jean. It is also difficult for her to have a conversation on the phone right now but that could improve with her medications  and her upcoming treatments. I wish the news could be better, I don't think it will get much better for any length of time. Bob

1/29 Update
I just want to say thank you to all off you who have been offering up prayers on my sisters behalf and thought maybe I should give you an update. Jean just completed 15 treatments of radiation without any side effects except for losing just a little of her hair. She is still in good spirits and has a very positive attitude. I have been able to talk to her several times on computer and we have had some good chats.  She had a lot of hope that the radiation was going to be her cure but we know it was more for her comfort. Her prognosis is not good the doctor says maybe 6 months but he has not offered much hope that she will last any longer. Last week they decreased her medicine from 4 pills a day to 3 and today she had a little set back which could be because of the decrease so they upped the meds again. She had what the doctor called a speech seizure. She can be trying to tell you something and it comes out like a foreign language.  She does not realize what is happening and thinks you can understand her when you can't. It does not last long and within an hour she is back to her old self. Her legs have gotten stronger so she goes to the mall and walks around and is able to see her husband in the Nursing Home.Her daughter is still with her but is leaving this Friday to go back to Baltimore to her job. I will leaving to be with Jean February 5th. My plan is to stay about a month and then maybe go back in June but I will stay as long as I am needed. This will not be a vacation or an easy trip. I am going because I am needed. Someone will be with Jean until I get there. She cannot be alone.  Please keep us all in your prayers. Thank you again for your prayers they are greatly appreciated. Update 9/30/01 Praise Report
Hi Everyone!  First let me say thank for all of your prayers that went up on behalf of my sister Jean who was diagnosed with 2 brain tumors and went through brain surgery last November.  Remember I told you that the doctors said that the tumors were going through her brain like dandelions. They zapped her with heavy doses of radiation and she has been on medications ever since. Well! she had a scan a month ago and just went for the report on Monday, September 24 and the doctor said there were no lesions.  She said that was great news and her daughter did too. Since I did not know what that meant, I called a friend who is a nurse and used to work in a Brain Surgeons office.  She said it is good news, it means that the tumors are not growing.  Jean was on three  different kinds of medicine, one kind she had to take three times a day to keep brain swelling down, they have now cut that back to two for two weeks and after two weeks it will be cut to one a day.  So for the moment things are  good.  Jean went to the doctor on Monday, on Thursday she got brave enough to get on a plane and fly to Annapolis Maryland.  I talked to her on phone yesterday and she sounds good.  I will be going up on the 12th for the weekend to visit with her and our brother who lives in Virginia. Jean said to be sure and thank everyone for praying for her. God's blessings on you, Harlean

Heavenly Father I lift up my cousin Betty to you in prayer. She was flown to Johnson City (Tenn) today at 10:00 AM Mercy Flight. She had a severe heart attack. Lord I ask that you wrap Betty in your arms of love. If surgery is needed I ask that you place her in the care of a good surgeon. I ask that you guide his hands and bring her through with no complications and completely healed. I ask that you give comfort to her husband and loved ones and draw each one close to you. 11/12 Update
As far as they know Betty didn't have a heart attack but thought she did because her heart stopped twice. But she has a virus in her blood, her blood pressure is low. They had to put a cathrader in her, (Gyniths words) her veins keep popping. I don't know what that is. She also has fluid. They are going to do a lot of test to find out what happened to her. Gynith said she is in bad shape.
11/14 Update
Hi Charlotte~ Louise called a short while ago and she said that they have taken out the tubes and Betty is doing GREAT.  Will possibly get out of ICU tomorrow. Betty is doing very well. Out of ICU now so we have a telephone number to call her later. Louise said that she may be in the hospital for a while, but at least she's doing much better. We PRAISE THE LORD for that.  George is still there so keep him in prayer as well. He'll have a long drive back to Ohio, by himself. He had heart surgery about four or five years ago. He recently had another heart attack and was just given permission to drive again. Thanks again for your prayers. God Bless you all.

Heavenly Father I lift up Sue to you in prayer. Lord I ask that you answer this mother's prayer for the salvation of her family. I lift up her husband and her three children and the families of her children. They were raised up going to Church but have now parted from your teaching. I ask that you revive them Lord. I ask that you place a desire in their hearts to return to you. I ask that you place in them a hunger for your word. I ask that you draw each one close to you. I pray for their salvation. Heavenly Father our country has no President as yet. Lord I come before you while that decision has not been reached. I ask that you make the final decision. I ask Lord that you intervene. I ask that you put the best man in office of the two. The one who will be focused on you Lord, the one who will prayerfully seek you when decisions are to be made.  Lord I come before your throne and ask your help. The moral conduct of this country has gotten so corrupt especially of our leaders and those in governmental positions. Lord we need people to fill these various positions who have good morals.  However this election comes out whether it is to be Al Gore or George Bush, I ask for peace. Peace from riots erupting because of the decision. Peace between the republicans and the democrats, that they accept the outcome.  I pray that our new President will lead this country in ways that will be pleasing to you Lord. I pray that he will work toward helping the people of this country, especially the poor and the elderly. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Heavenly Father I lift up Jose Ortega Jr. to you in prayer. He was in terrible pain yesterday and had to be taken to the emergency room. They found that he has kidney stones in the left kidney. He will have to stay out of school and work for over a week until he passes the stones. Lord I've never had kidney stones but I saw my cousin a grown man drop to his knees and cry from the pain of having them. Lord I ask that you keep Jose in your loving care. I ask that you remove the pain that he is going through. I ask that the stones pass from his kidneys rapidly. I ask for a speedy recovery. I ask that you draw Jose close to you. If he has not accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior I pray for salvation. I ask that you give comfort to Jose's mother as I know that it hurts her to see her son in pain. I ask in the name of Jesus. Heavenly father I lift up Melissa up to you in prayer. Lord I ask that you keep her and her mother and father in your loving care. Her father is bedridden and has emphysema. Her mother fell and as a result of the fall is not able to use her walker and might not be able to ever use it again. She too, has emphysema. Melissa has Hepatitis C which causes her to tire very easily. Her sisters no longer speak to any of them. Her brother has his life and does not want it to be interrupted. Melissa is feeling very alone. Lord I ask that you wrap this family in your arms of love. I ask that you give strength and comfort to Melissa as she is carrying a heavy load. Lord I ask that you give her parents comfort and open their lungs to breathe. I ask that you cover each one of them with your healing power from above. I ask that Melissa's mother will be up and about soon. I ask that you place an overwhelming sense of guilt over her sisters and her brother that they will not be able to escape it. Heavenly Father I lift up Keith to you in prayer. He has so much pain in his back he can hardly move around. He has three herniated discs and the nerves are deteriorated. He will be going to the doctor in January to get an injection in his back to freeze the nerves. This treatment helps only for a little while. He is depressed because he is not used to just sitting around, he's used to doing things and with all of the pain he is in it is impossible. This really bothers him a lot. He feels like he is putting a big load on his wife and she tries to assure him that she doesn't mind doing the things she does. Lord I ask that you keep Keith in your loving care. I can't imagine the pain he is in with three herniated discs. I only have one and the pain has reduced me to crawling. Lord I ask that you remove the pain and discomfort from Keith's back. I ask that you draw him close to you. I ask that you cover him with healing. I ask that you give comfort to RaDonna and her children and draw each one close to you. I ask that you give RaDonna strength to get the things done that she has to get done. I ask that you remove the depressive state that Keith is in and replace it with peace. Heavenly Father I lift up Sue to you in prayer. She was recently diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease. The past few days she has been very dizzy and she can't keep anything on her stomach. She cannot even close her eyes to sleep. She went to the doctor and he is treating her with a new medication. Lord I ask that you wrap Sue in your arms of love.  I ask that you draw her close to you. I ask that the new medication that she is on will give her relief. I ask that you keep her in your loving care. Lord no cure for this disease has been found. I ask that you give guidance to all of the people involved in trying to find a cure for this terrible disease. I ask that you cover Sue with your healing power, I ask for complete healing. Heavenly Father I lift up Nellie's son to you in prayer. Nellie is a loving mother who is crying out for her son's salvation. She knows that her son needs desperately to have you in his life Lord. Heavenly Father I lift up Jenny and her family to you in prayer. Her mother Lisa has cancer which is continuing to grow worse. Her husband Michael is not only hurting her, he is also hurting their son with his neglect and verbal abuse. Jenny has no job and she needs desperately to find one so she can get her own medical coverage to take care of her son. Lord I ask that you wrap Jenny and her family in your arms of love. I ask that you cover Lisa with your healing power. I ask that you give her comfort and remove any pain that she is going through. I ask that you give comfort to Jenny during this difficult time in seeing her mother suffer with this terrible disease of cancer. Lord if it is not your will to heal Lisa I ask for mercy. I ask that you draw her close to you. I ask that you place a hedge of protection around Jenny and Jeremy against the abuse of Michael. I ask that you find safe haven for them to escape his abuse. I ask that you place a strong feeling of guilt in Michael's heart Lord, so strong that he will cry out to you and ask for forgiveness.  Heavenly Father I lift Jenny up to you in prayer. She has written a book entitled Knock With All Your Heart.  It's a self help inspirational book about her life of abuse. She has written this book in hopes of reaching out to other women who are in abusive situations. It is also her hope that this book will help women who have suffered abuse find their way to you LORD and to wonderful Christian friends and support groups as she has. I have not viewed Jenny's book but the title and just the brief description she sent sounds like it may be of help to others. It has taken her eight years to find an agent to represent her. Her agent has not found a publisher as yet for her book.  Lord I ask that you assist in finding a publisher for Jenny's book. I ask that you place her agent in the right direction.  We need to get inspirational reading material out into the world especially books like Jenny's that will provide help for others. Lord I pray that when her book is published that many women out there in this world who are abused will find help and seek safe refuge. I pray that her book will be an inspiration as to leading them to you Lord. I ask that you watch over Jenny and her son and keep them safe. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

She is fifty-two years old.  She has been diagnosed with Interstitial cystitis, (a bladder disease of unknown origin) Irritable Bowel Syndrome and Pelvic Floor Syndrome. These are very painful diseases and conditions and she is in constant pain. Lord I ask that you wrap Jodie in your arms of love. I ask that you draw her close to you. Lord I ask that you give wisdom to the doctors who are treating her. Heavenly Father I lift up Marie to you in prayer. She will be having surgery Tuesday, November 7. She had a gall bladder attack and when the doctor was doing test on that, they found a growth on her kidney. The growth turned out to be cancerous so they will be removing her kidney and the gall stones on the same day. Marie has three grown children, five grandchildren and many brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews that love her very much and I praise you Lord for she is a Christian. Lord I ask that you wrap Marie in your arms of love. I ask that you guide the surgeons hands and bring her safely through with no complication and completely healed of cancer. I ask that you give her a speedy recovery. I ask that you give comfort to her as I know she will be missing the presence of her husband being there with her. I ask that you give comfort to all of her loved ones and draw each one close to you. I ask that you give strength to her niece who will be caring for Marie and keep her in your loving care Lord. Aunt Marie is doing wonderful. PTL She had major surgery, they removed her gall bladder, her left kidney, glands etc...... and she spent less than 24 hours in ICU and was home in only 3 days.  I have heard no plans for chemo so I assume the docs got all the cancer.  God is good all the time.  Thank you all for your concern and prayers. Heavenly Father I lift David up to you in prayer. He is only ten years old. David was flight lifted to Houston Children's Medical Center Saturday morning with Spinal Meningitis in a very severe stage. He is currently in critical condition. Saturday his fever went up to 107. The fever is now under control and the doctors have said that he will survive. There are complications, a lot of his tissue has died. His right hand, right foot, left leg and at least 2 of the fingers on his left hand will have to be amputated. There may be more, they won't know until the swelling has gone down. Until then they will not be able to tell the true extent of the damage that has occurred. This once very athletic child will now have to learn how to cope with multiple disabilities as well as go through much physical therapy. His parents have no medical insurance and no way to pay for his medical stay, medicine, or future rehabilitation and doctor visits. His parents are devastated and his younger sister is very confused as she doesn't understand what is going on with her big brother. The entire elementary school that David attends had to be sanitized and all the children and teachers had to be treated. to try and prevent them from contracting this disease. Lord I lift up this precious child to you. I ask that you wrap him in your arms of love. So young and yet he is suffering so much. Lord I know that his condition doesn't look very promising right now but I know that with you all things are possible. You Lord are able. I come before your throne and ask for complete healing. I ask that you revive the dead tissue in his hand, foot, leg and fingers. I ask that you bring him through this disease with no further complications than has already occurred. I ask that you intervene with divine direction to the doctors in treating David. I ask that provisions be made to cover all medical cost that have incurred. I ask that you place a hedge of protection around everyone who was in contact with David and keep this disease from them. I ask that you give comfort to his parents Larry and Lisa and to all loved ones and friends and draw each one close to you Lord. I ask that you keep his little sister Holly in your care, comfort her and wrap her in your arms of love. Lord I ask for a miracle. I pray that David will be a testimony for all to witness of your healing power. I pray for the salvation of his family, friends and loved ones who have not accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior. UPDATE: 11/7
I just spoke with my mother-in-law and I asked about David.  She said that some are saying that David's skin is turning a little more pink again...but those that see him daily do not believe this is so.  Surgery is scheduled for tomorrow sometime...for the amputation of the dead limbs. She also said that the state's Habitat for Humanity has contacted David's family and has offered them a new house...as their current place of residence should be condemned and cannot be properly sanitized to avoid reoccurrence or spreading of this disease. Also...she said that she believes everything is taken care of...from current medical expenses to future help...and Habitat for Humanity coming to them without their applying...is a true blessing...as well as a miracle. David's father, Larry, has quit drinking...and has rededicated himself to his children.  His near loss of his son has opened his eyes... 11/24 Update
David's condition isn't well.  he is still in the hospital...and will be for at least another year...due to rehabilitation, and therapy...as well as continued fight to stay alive... the doctors had to remove his right and left legs at the knees...and also took his right hand.  they are almost certain that they will have to remove more of his legs...due to the extent of gangrene. due to the amount of gangrene...and the fact that David was having trouble breathing on his own, no one was able to tell him about his having to lose the limbs before it was done.  he was taking the news of losing his legs fairly well...as that was the first surgery that was done.  then doctors decided there was no way to save his right hand.  they transferred some nerves from his right to his left hand...but so far...David isn't showing any positive signs of feeling or usage of his left hand...so...doctors may need to remove his left hand as well. as far as his spirits now...he is pretty numb to emotion, everything he liked to do...he will have to relearn, or will never be able to do again. since i do not live near the family...i dont get updates very often.  I will keep you updated as I can... Heavenly Father I lift up Mary to you in prayer. This coming weekend she will be eighteen years old. The last two years of her life have been filled with medical and emotional problems. She was diagnosed as being bipolar and they have been unable to find the right combination of medications to stabilize her. She was just released from the hospital a couple of weeks ago after her third visit. At this time she has no friends and has many suicidal thoughts. She plans on attending Bible College next year, her goal is to be a Christian counselor. Lord I ask that you wrap this young lady in your arms of love. So young and she has already endured much pain and suffering. I ask that you give wisdom and guidance to the doctors to get her stabilized. Lord I ask that you place a hedge of protection around Mary and remove any suicidal thoughts that come upon her. I ask that you place Christians in her path her age who can be there for her. I ask that you draw her close to you. I ask that you place a desire in her heart to seek your guidance in her life. Lord I pray that one day she will be a Christian counselor and that she will be a help to many. I ask for complete healing. I ask that you comfort her mother Diane during this difficult time. Sorry I haven't gotten back to anyone on Mary's progress. They changed her medications and I am beginning to see a small change for the better, so I'm hoping this means we might have the right combination at last. She just found out last week that there is a group of kids at school that meet once a week at lunch for a bible study class. She went to one of their meetings and is planning on going every week.  The school counselor set up a meeting with a girl she hasn't seen for several years and they went to church together last Sunday.  Her church has a service just for teenagers which was what she was looking for. Mary also told me yesterday that she is going to join another group at school that does community service.  She really is good at that type of thing even though she doesn't think she is. I was counting my many blessings yesterday and I truly have much to be thankful for. After writing this note to you, I realize Mary is doing better than I thought.  It hasn't been that long ago that she might have talked about doing these things but would never have carried through on them.  She is reaching out to people again. Thank you so much for your prayers.  When I sent my prayer request, all of my hope was gone and I was just waiting for the worst to happen. You will never know how thankful I am for each little step forward Mary takes.  I know God has a special plan for her if I can just keep her going. Thank you again for everything. Diane

Heavenly Father I lift up Shetwan to you in prayer. Shetwan was last seen October 23 late in the evening at a truck stop at Shelby Drive and US #78 in Memphis. She was looking for a ride to New York or California. The trucker gave her food and fuel and allowed her to follow him to Birmingham, Alabama not knowing that she was not in her right mind. After this she reportedly continued on to Atlanta, GA with only the clothes on her back and no money. Something has happened to her mentally for she would never do this if she was thinking properly. Right now her family does not know where she is. Lord I ask that you keep Shetwan in your loving care. I ask that you draw her close to you. I ask that you place a hedge of protection around her. I ask that you place someone in her path to give her help. I ask that you place a desire in her heart to call her loved ones and let them know where she is. I ask that you keep her from harm and return her to her family safely. I ask that you give her family direction as to finding a doctor who can help her. He also is scheduled for hernia surgery depending on the outcome of the biopsy. If it shows cancer they won't be doing surgery for the hernia. Lord I ask that you keep Jim in your loving care. I ask that the biopsy results come back negative to cancer. I ask that the hepatitis C remain in remission. I ask that you guide the surgeons hands during surgery for the hernia. Heavenly father I lift up Madeline to you in prayer. The doctor found a lump on her lung. She is scheduled for surgery on Monday, November 5. Lord I ask that you keep Madeline in your loving care. My dear friends- Madeline is doing well because they found the cancerous node so soon. Praise The Lord!

Heavenly Father I lift up Glenda to you in prayer. I ask that you keep her in your loving care. She has an addiction to nicotine and has tried many time to give up smoking. Lord I know where she is coming from. I also had a struggle with quitting as you already know Lord. I quit many times only to start back again. Only after being so short of breath that I knew death was near did I stop. After two weeks of quitting I spent seven days in the hospital only to find out that my lungs have been severely damaged. I feel so much better now that I have finally stopped. Now I can breathe and I don't cough anymore. Thank you Lord! I ask that you place a desire in Glenda's heart to stop smoking now. I ask that you remove the control that cigarettes have over her life. I ask that you remove this deadly addiction. Glenda will be going for a biopsy in a few weeks. Lord I ask that the results will show nothing serious. I place Glenda in your care Lord. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Heavenly father I lift up Glenda's son to you in prayer. He is sixteen years old and last Friday night his friends dropped him off on his mother's front porch. He had to be put in the hospital because his blood alcohol was at a dangerous level. Lord I ask that you keep Glenda's son in your loving care. I ask that you place a hedge of protection around him. I ask that you draw him close to you Lord. I ask that you place a desire in his heart to know you. I pray that he will remember the danger that drinking caused him and refrain from drinking alcohol ever again. I ask that you place people in his path who can get through to him about the dangers of drinking. If this young man has not accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior I pray for his salvation. Heavenly Father I lift up Michael to you in prayer. He was operated on for a very large tumor in his head and it left him with drop foot. There was a part that surgery could not be done on and it has grown back in a little over a year. Lord I ask that you keep Michael in your loving care. I ask that you cover him with your healing power from above. We know that the surgeons could not operate on the one part and that it has now grown back. Lord I know that you are able to heal that tumor, to remove that tumor, to cast that tumor completely away. I come before your throne and ask that you heal Michael completely. I ask that you draw him close to you.  I pray for Michael and his loved ones. If they have not accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior I pray for salvation. Heavenly father I lift up Brenda to you in prayer. She had a hernia operation a few weeks ago and has not been feeling well. Lord I ask that you keep her in your loving care. I ask that no complications come about from her surgery. I ask for complete healing. I ask that you draw Brenda close to you Lord. Heavenly Father I lift up Shannon to you in prayer. She recently had surgery to remove a tumor. She was released from the hospital a few days ago and had to go back because infection set in. She will be hospitalized for a week. They are treating her with antibiotics administered through IV. Lord I ask that you keep Shannon in your loving care. I ask that you draw her close to you. I ask for complete healing of the infection. I ask for a speedy recovery. I pray for her salvation Lord. I ask that you place Christians in her path to share the good news of Jesus. Heavenly Father I lift up my cousin Junior to you in prayer. He had a heart attack September 30. Too much damage was done to do surgery. He is scheduled to see the heart doctor Thursday, November 2 to see how much his heart has healed. Lord I ask that you keep Junior in your loving care. I ask that the results of his test will show complete healing. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.
11/3 Up Date
 Jr. saw the Cardiac Doctor today and it seemed to go well. The Dr. told him that he is doing excellent for anyone that had such a serious heart attack. He is setting him up for a "PETSCAN" and then he can start the Re-Hab. He can drive now but has to continue to take it easy. Can even mow the lawn, but not a big lawn all at once. Has to stop if he feels any discomfort. Will continue on the medications for now and see his regular doctor. Won't have to see this doctor for 4 months.  Now we have to wait and get the results of the PETSCAN. Believing all is well though. The doctor did say that it is unusual for someone to do this well. Heavenly father I lift up Kim to you in prayer. She is having a lot of health problems to cope with at this time. Both her hip and back have bone spurs in them. She has wrist problems. Her spine is not lined up the way it's supposed to be. It's all out of line from the middle of her back down. She may need major surgery to correct this problem. On Tuesday, October 31 she is scheduled to have a MRI on her back and hip. Lord I ask that you keep Kim in your loving care. If she has to have surgery to correct the health problems she has, I ask that you guide the surgeons hands. I ask that you bring her through the surgery with no complications. I ask for complete healing. I ask that you draw Kim close to you Lord. I ask that you place more compassion toward her in her husbands heart. I pray that he will be there to see her through her illness and to help and comfort her.  I ask that you remove the stress that she is feeling. I ask for complete healing. In Jesus name I ask. Amen.

Ruth had surgery as scheduled. She was released from the hospital on Saturday, November 10. My brother said she is doing fine and having very little pain. She has to remain in the upstairs bedroom until she is completely healed. She uses a walker when she gets up. Thank you, to all of you who lifted her up in prayer. Thank you Lord, for bringing her safely through the surgery!
2/9 Update
Ruth is not doing well. She will be having test done today to see if she is having a problem with her circulation. Her leg and hand have been getting very cold and leg also feeling numb at times. Her daughter my niece Ann is in the hospital, she will be having test ran today as well to see if she has a blood clot in her arm. She is in need of a kidney transplant due to complications caused form the disease of diabetes She is now on dialysis. My nephew her brother Ryan was electrocuted a few years back and his mind is not good. He has a seven year old daughter and his wife has divorced him. He sees his daughter and he loves her so much. Heavenly Father as the day of Halloween draws near I pray for a hedge of protection to be placed around children and adults throughout the world. This is a day of evil, a day of cultic practices upon the innocent. On this night many satanic cults make ritual blood sacrifices and they prefer it with the youngest ones they can find. They also make many incantations and call all demons from hell. They bring evil upon places and especially Christian churches and people. Many children end up poisoned or injured by the treats given out on Halloween. There is much evil going on in the world on that night and on the night before. Lord I ask that you intervene and stop any sacrifices that come about. I ask that you send out your guardian angels to watch over each and every child to keep them from harms way. I ask that your mighty hand be upon each and every satanic practice of evil to stop it. I ask that you protect people throughout the world and keep them safe from the schemes of the evil one. Heavenly Father I lift up Zachary Foster to you in prayer. He will be three years old on Jan 21. Zachary was born with spinal problems and had a gaping hole in his spine. He is deaf and he goes to sign training classes three days a week. His parents have now found out that he needs four more surgeries because of kidney trouble and pressure on his eye. Lord I ask that you wrap this precious little child in your arms of love. I ask that you cover him with your healing power. When it comes time for the surgeries I ask that you guide the surgeons hands and bring him safely through each procedure with no complications and complete healing to his kidneys and eyes. I ask that you heal him from deafness, open his ears Lord to hear. I place Zachary in your loving care Lord. I ask that you give comfort to his parents Jenny and Steve and draw them close to you. Heavenly Father I lift up Chris, Jenn and the rest of the team who will be going to Belize for a week long mission trip. Their trip is scheduled for November 7-14. Belize was hit severely by a hurricane and the camp they are going to was under almost six feet of water as well as the road that leads there. It has been said that there are still areas under a couple feet of water. Jim Moss who is heading the whole project was supposed to be going to the camp the beginning of this month but his mother is severely ill. He will be getting there only two days before them so they won't be able to find out how bad the situation is there. They have no idea what to expect however there is work to be done for the Kingdom and the good news of Jesus Christ who is Lord of all to be preached. The devil will of course be around with his evil schemes however you Lord are their strength. You can and will defeat the schemes of the evil one. Lord I ask that you give them a safe trip there. I ask that you place a hedge of protection around this team of men and women and keep them safe from disease and obstacles that might interfere with the things that have to be accomplished there. I pray for unity in the team. Just as Aaron and Hur held up the hands of Moses during the battle with the Amalekites, I pray that they will hold one another up in whatever situation arises. They are all there for one reason and that is to serve you Lord in helping others and bringing the good news of Christ to those who don't know of His great love for them. Heavenly Father I lift up Autumn to you in prayer. She is fifteen years old and lives in a household of four. Her sister who is only sixteen years old is pregnant. This has really upset the family and torn them apart. When Autumn found out about her sister's pregnancy she persuaded her not to have an abortion. The decision was to have the baby. When the family got the news that her sister was pregnant Autumn feels that they shoved her aside. She feels that she is no longer a family member. Autumn says that she knows that she should turn to you first Lord but feels that right now she doesn't know how. She needs so much to put you back into her life and says that she needs help to find you again. She stopped going to church because there are no young people there her age, Lord she feels that she needs this to be a strong Christian. Lord I ask that you place a strong desire in Autumn's heart to return to Church. I ask that you place a hunger and a thirst for your word so overpowering within her that she will have a desire to read your word. I ask that you place Christians her age in the Church that she can share the love of Jesus with. I ask that many will come and I ask that a youth group be placed within her Church. I ask that you draw this family close to you Lord. I ask that you keep them together in love for one another and I ask that you keep their love for you strong. I ask that you protect the child that her sister is carrying. I ask for a safe delivery with no complications. I ask that the baby be raised knowing the love of Jesus. Recently her cancer has gotten much worse. She hasn't been eating well or drinking. A few days ago she told her mother that she was ready to talk to you face to face. Barbara and her husband have been under a lot of stress by all of this. Lord I ask that you wrap this precious little child in your loving arms. I ask that you place a desire in her for food and drink. I ask that you cover her with your healing power from above. I ask that you remove all cancer from this precious child and heal her completely. Heavenly Father I lift up Margaret to you in prayer. She was in the hospital recently as a result of having seizures. Blood was taken and the result showed that the medication she is taking is toxic. There is no other medication to treat her with. It was the best seizure control she ever had. She was having seizures every day but over the past six months they were under control.  Lord I ask that you keep Margaret in your loving care. I ask that you give divine guidance to the doctors as to a treatment to use for her. I ask for complete healing. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Hi, I am doing real good so far! They put me on the wrong medication in the ICU, and I just had to live through the side effects. I haven't had any seizures, since then and that is so good! Heavenly Father I lift up Valerie Watkins to you in prayer. She is pregnant and not due until December 18.  This week she started having premature labor pains. The doctors have tried to stop the contractions with mediations. If this is not successful she will be transferred to UNC where they will have to deliver the infant prematurely. She is only thirty-one weeks and the doctors said that the baby's lungs and respiratory are not yet fully developed. Lord I ask that you keep Valerie in your loving care. I ask that you place a hedge of protection around her and her unborn child. Hold this precious child in your arms of love. I ask that the contractions will cease and that she will carry the baby to full term. I pray for the delivery of a healthy baby with no complications. Heavenly Father I lift up to you in prayer the families and friends of the men and women who were killed on October 12 by terrorists.  The USS Cole warship was bombed as it arrived in Aden Yemen to refuel. As a result of this evil act seventeen were killed and thirty-nine were injured from the explosion. I ask that you intervene with divine guidance and lead the officials who are investigating the bombing to the people responsible. I pray that they will be apprehended soon and pay the penalty for the crime they have committed. How sad for the children who are now minus a mother or father in their lives. The parents minus a son or daughter. Loved ones and friends who are hurting and mourning. Lord I ask that you give comfort to all the families and friends of those who have been killed and those who have been injured. Lord I thank you that she will be OK and I ask that you heal her completely. I ask that you give strength to her body and remove any pain that she is having. Linda has been under so much stress Lord with her brother so ill from cancer, her illness with lupus and feeling that she has let her support group down. Heavenly Father I lift up The New Life For Youth Ranch to you in prayer. This ranch is run through a church for drug and alcohol abusers. This is a free place that men who have these problems can go and find help and to learn about the love of Jesus. Many men are now living for you since they have stayed at the ranch. When they go in they make a commitment to stay there for one year. Most of the men go on to serve you Lord when the year is up. Lord I thank you for The New Life For Youth Ranch. I pray that it will be a blessing to all who go there for help. I pray your Holy Spirit will fill the ranch and draw many to you Lord. I pray for salvation for all who enter. I pray that when they leave they will move forward and lead productive lives in sharing the good news of Christ with others. I pray that they will leave their past behind and never turn to drugs or alcohol again. I lift up Danny to you in prayer. He has been on drugs for the last 5 years since he got out of the Navy. Heavenly Father I lift up Danny you in prayer. Danny went to court and was convicted. He will be staying at the New Life for Youth Ranch until he goes back for sentencing in February. Lord I ask that when that time comes Danny will be allowed to return to The New Life For Youth Ranch. During his time in jail while waiting for bond Danny witnessed to one of the inmates that was on drugs. He told him about the Ranch and this man would like to go there. I lift up this man to you as well Lord. I ask that he be given a chance to straighten out his life and be allowed to serve his sentence at the ranch. I ask that you draw these two men close to you. I ask that you place a desire in them to want to change. I ask that you remove the desire for drugs from them. I ask in Jesus name. Amen.

Heavenly Father I lift up Jane to you in prayer. She lost her mother in February after a long battle with cancer. Lord I ask that you give comfort to Jane as I know she misses her mother deeply. I ask that she will be comforted in knowing that her mother is with you. Her three brothers have accused her of neglecting her mother. I ask that you touch her brothers hearts and I ask that you bring this family together in love for one another and forgiveness. Draw each one close to you Lord. I ask in Jesus name. Amen.

Heavenly Father I lift Bill up to you in prayer. He has a hernia that has been coming up under the skin.  He is scheduled to see a doctor Tuesday, October 25. The doctor will be explaining the procedure for surgery to him. Lord I ask that you keep Bill in you loving care. I ask that you guide the surgeons hands. I ask that you bring him safely through the surgery with no complications and complete healing. I ask for a speedy recovery. I ask that you draw Bill close to you. Heavenly Father I lift up Robert to you in prayer. He is twelve years old and suffers from Steven Johnson Syndrome. He had a seizure and a reaction from the medication he was treated with has put him in critical condition. He has burns from the violent chemical reaction over his entire body, including his eyes, the inside of his mouth, etc. This morning he was in critical condition and unable to breathe. His condition is now stabilized. The doctors are saying that within four days as long as there is no infection he should be able to get up. After this they will begin therapy. Lord I ask that you keep Robert in your loving care. I ask that you restore his vision. I ask that any complications from infection be kept from his body. I ask that he will be up and about soon so he can begin therapy. I ask that you cover Robert with your healing power from above. I ask for complete healing. I ask that you give comfort to his Mom Cari and his step father Rod and draw each one close to you. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen. 
UPDATE 11/24 
Last week there was hope that Robert would be home by Thanksgiving :) However, I do not know if that has happened. He is enduring 3 hrs. a day of physical therapy (very painful) because of muscle atrophy over the past months.  We still need to pray for his sight.  It has improved slightly in his right eye.  But I'd guess, from what I've been hearing, that at this point, he would be considered legally blind. He's getting feisty and complaining about his therapy --- which is a good sign!   :) God bless you for caring for this young man  :) Happy Thanksgiving!
10/23/00: UPDATE: 
 Robert remains in critical condition. Not only is every square inch of his body burned as a result of the very unusual condition he suffers from but his organs (even his eyes) are also burned.  Right now he's having difficulty breathing. The oxygen doesn't seem to be helping as it should. He stopped breathing once, but was immediately resuscitated.  They thought his lungs were filled with fluid, but testing today showed they are not. Please pray that his blood gasses will be in order and full oxygen saturation. Please pray for Carrie (Robert's Mom) to continue to have peace through this time, and that the Lord will be her strength.  Please, make this a fridge request. We are DEFINITELY more than "two or three gathered in His name." (Isiah 65:24):  "He answers us before we even call to Him. While we are still talking to Him about our needs, He goes ahead and answers our prayers." Oh, Lord God, we are praying for a miracle..... in Your name and for Your glory. 

10/31/00: UPDATE
Last week, for two days, Robert took a turn for the worse.  But the prayer vigil continues. Now he is better, Praise God!  He has pneumonia, but that was expected.  The doctors have had him in a drug induced coma (due to pain, etc.), so they suctioned his lungs with some kind of machine. They were very happy when they saw the insides of his lungs because they looked good. They were not burned.  This terrible syndrome has caused burns from the inside out, so the  organs are often compromised or destroyed :( He has been on a powerful ventilator this entire time. They have now put him on a ventilator that isn't as powerful so his lungs can get used to breathing on their own again. Doctors hope by the end of this week, that they can wean him (completely) off of the ventilator and bring him out of his coma :) He is still listed in critical condition but God is repairing the damage that the enemy has done. I was talking to my pastor about Robert and his Mom the other day. We were both saying how much we looked forward to the day that Robert and his Mom can stand before the congregation with their testimony. I can't even type that without getting goose bumps. There won't be a dry eye in the house!!!  Oh, one last thing any people in Robert's condition look like burn victims when they recover. Doctors are very upbeat that this will not be the case with Robert :) Bless you all for being so faithful and for keeping this dear young man and his family in your prayers.

11/09/00: UPDATE
Charlotte, forgive my delay, but I've been trying to get a really accurate up to date account on Robert. The one thing I don't yet know is if he's been downgraded from critical condition. I'm assuming he has been, as they have stopped the drug-induced coma he's been in and he's now breathing without any mechanical assistance. So, he's obviously improving, I just don't know how they are rating his condition right now. One thing that has been a concern this entire time, and I just received word about it today, is that the chemical burns (that also affected his eyeballs) currently have left this little 12 year old blind. We are storming the gates of Heaven for God's intervention and healing. Medically, Robert should have never lived through this, and it appears he will, praise God!!!  The number of prayers he's received have been heartwarming! I don't know if doctor's feel this blindness is a temporary thing as his eyes heal, or whether they're inclined to think it will be permanent -- not that it matters if God chooses to restore his vision! 11/15 Update
Doctors are saying he "may" be home in 10 days.  He still can't see, however, and he has lost a tremendous amount of weight.  I'm sure mama's home cooking will eventually take care of the weight problem.  But they are still asking for prayers for his sight. Jo

Robert is doing better. He is now out of danger, he continues to have seizures. His family does not want to put him on any medication because of what they have gone through.  Continue to pray for his eye sight, he still is unable to see out of his left eye. Your prayers have deeply been appreciated. Heavenly Father I lift up Bailey to you in prayer. She is four years old and has been suffering with migraine headaches and nose bleeds for a few weeks. The doctor did a cat scan and it showed an abnormal formation in the cerebellum part of her brain. She is scheduled for a MRI on Friday, October 20. Lord I ask that you wrap this precious little child in your arms of love. I ask that nothing serious be found on the MRI. I ask that whatever this abnormal formation is in her brain that it will be treatable. I ask for complete healing. Heavenly Father I lift up Brianna to you in prayer. She will soon be four years old. Brianna has been diagnosed with a brain tumor on the brain stem. The tumor is inoperable and it is pressing on the nerves that control eye movement. This is causing her eyes to droop.  She is also complaining of leg pain. At this time they do not know if the tumor is malignant or not, a biopsy would be to dangerous.  This precious child is so full of life. She goes to Church with her family, and has been singing, "Jesus Loves Me" since she was 2 years old. She and her parents have been in Boston Ma, at the Ronald McDonald house since October 14.  The doctors there have viewed her MRI and feel that by doing a procedure one of the doctors there perfected, maybe they will be able to help her.  The procedure consists of drilling a small hole in her head in hopes that the pressure and fluid buildup will be relieved.  She will be admitted Wednesday, October 18 at 6:30 A.M. They will be doing another MRI to see if anything has changed. A scan will be done of her spinal cord because of leg pain. Lord I ask that you wrap this precious little child in your arms of love. I ask that no cancer be found in this tumor. So young and she has already suffered so much pain. Lord I ask that nothing serious show up on the MRI and scan done on her spinal cord. I ask that you guide the surgeons hands and bring her through the procedure they will be doing on her with no complications. I pray that this procedure will relieve the pressure and the fluid build up. Lord I come before your throne and I ask for mercy for this little child. I ask that you remove pain from her little body. I ask that you intervene with your guidance from above and lead the doctors in treating her. I ask for complete healing. I rap that you will give comfort to her parents, grandmother and loved ones and draw each one close to you during this difficult time. I pray that Brianna will grow up to serve you Lord in a mighty way. I pray that she will be a testimony of your healing power. I ask that you cover her Lord and give healing to her body. Update 10/28/00
Brianna is at home now. She arrived home last Monday. It was her birthday and we had her a small family party that night. She was really glad to be home and to see her little brother.  (Blake will be 2 Nov. 7th.) Her biopsy was benign, but they said the tissue sample was not large enough to be a true reading. Her eyes appear very bad.  She had her stitches out on Thursday, and that went fine.  She will be seeing her regular Neurologist here soon.  They plan to schedule another MRI. Some of the doctors want to start chemo, others want to wait and see. As for me I am trusting the Lord.  Brienna seems to be doing fine except that her eyes continue to look very bad, I am afraid that the damage done will not be corrected without eye surgery at some later date perhaps. She is scheduled for another MRI on Tuesday, I am praying for some good news from that.  Thanks for the prayers, and for caring. Update, 11/7/00
Brienna's MRI had to be postponed as she has a cold and her chest is congested. It has been rescheduled for November 29. Thanks for the prayers and thanks for caring. It seems she is blind or close to it at least in one eye now, and does not have good vision out of the other one. I am praying heavily that the tumor shrinks and goes away but I am also asking for her vision to be restored as it is really bothering her. Thanks Again, Brenda

Heavenly Father once again I come before your throne lifting up Brienna to you in prayer. I ask that the MRI be done as scheduled for the 29th. I ask that the report will show that the tumor is completely removed. They say the tissue sample was not large enough to be a true reading We have faith that benign it was and benign it remains. Lord I ask that no cancer be found anywhere in her body. I ask that her eyesight be restored to normal no surgery required. I ask that you heal her of the cold that she has now and remove the congestion from her chest. I ask that you give strength to her and comfort her.  Heavenly Father I lift up Ada to you in prayer. She has been diagnosed with pneumonia. Lord I ask that you keep her in your loving care. The doctor wanted to admit her to the hospital but decided to treat her as an out patient. She was given medication and told that if she is no better by today ( Wednesday) he will have to admit her. I ask for a speedy recovery and that no hospital stay will be required. I ask for complete healing. I ask in Jesus name. Amen.

11/2 Update
Praise The Lord! My mother is living with my brother Kenneth now. She is feeling much better. Her problem was a kidney infection which she was given antibiotics for and now it's all cleared up.  The doctor increased a medication he had her on and that helped her indigestion problem. Nothing serious was found. Thank you for your prayers!

Heavenly Father I lift up Anthony to you in prayer. He will be two years old in November. Anthony was taken to the emergency room a few nights ago due to having a temperature of 104 for over 48 hours. Six hours were spent in the emergency room. Test were done on Anthony his urine came back good, x-rays were good, blood good except that his platelets are low. Normal is 140-400 and his were 91. The doctor said that he could have a virus although that this may not be the cause. Anthony had his blood tested again the next day and the results weren't good. When the platelets get low they cause blood to clot. His blood began clotting to quick when they took it, therefore they couldn't get an exact count but they said his levels were decreasing which is not good. Anthony will be seeing a blood specialist soon to find out what is going on. Lord I ask that you wrap this precious little child in your arms of love. I ask that nothing serious be found and that whatever is causing the platelets to drop so low can be treatable with medication. l ask that you give comfort to his mother Stephanie and loved ones and draw each one close to you. I leave Anthony in your care Lord. I ask for complete healing. I ask in Jesus name. Amen.

Just got the information this afternoon He is doing better. Currently he has a virus and his spleen is enlarged but he is much better. Thank you for your prayers and just continue to lift him up until he is completely healed. Gale

Update 11/7
 Hi everyone, I am typing this through tears.  As of today, the 6th of November 2000, my darling sweet boy Zeke lost his precious life to leukemia. At 2.25pm this afternoon, my darling boy passed away in my arms hearing me sign "You are my sunshine" over and over again.  He wasn't able to speak much before he left, but the last thing he said to me was "I love you daddy" which touched my heart. My heart is hanging heavy right now. I still cant believe I have lost my little one. All that keeps me going is the fact he has gone to join his twin brother Ethan who passed away shortly after birth. Thank you for your continual support for us all. Heavenly Father I lift up Meda to you in prayer. She has a lot to deal with right now. She has a homogeneous liver, her gall bladder is not working properly and her bile duct has cysts. The doctor told her a homogeneous liver can be anything from damage due to her cholesterol medication to cancer of the liver. She has been told by her regular doctor that she will need to get someone who can be with her for at least two weeks during her recovery. The surgeon will have to cut her just below the center of her rib cage and it will go all the way around the rib cage. She will be seeing the surgeon on Monday, October 16th. at 2:30 PM. Lord I ask that you wrap Meda in your arms of love. I ask that you keep her in your loving care. I ask that you guide the surgeons hands and bring her safely through the surgery with no complications. I ask that nothing serious be found. I ask that you remove any worry or fear that she has and replace it with peace. Lord I ask that provisions will be made for someone to come and take care of her during her recovery. Her daughter was raised by her parents and this makes her feel that her daughter was never really hers. She doesn't feel that she has any close friends and feels that she can't develop a friendship with her mother. 10/13 Update 
Well, Dad was operated on a day early as they had a cancellation and Dr. Mindige wanted to get it going rather than waste time. It went off with clockwork precision. Exactly 4 hours from the start until he was in the recovery room. Within 10 minutes of that the assistant surgeon Dr. Rubenstein, was on the phone with us to tell us everything went well. Its off to post op and then rehab and then home in about a week. (next Wednesday) barring complications. Amazing! Salvation is hopefully the next phase! John Heavenly Father I thank you for bringing John's Dad safely through bypass surgery. I ask that you keep him in your loving care. I ask that there be no complications and that he will have a speedy recovery. I ask that you draw him close to you. I ask that you place a desire in his heart to know you. I ask in Jesus name. Heavenly Father I lift up Rose Everett to you in prayer. She has severe pain in her lower abdomen due to a bladder problem. Her bladder has lost it's inner lining and stays irritated. The medicine prescribed for her makes her sick and she can't take it. She also has cellulite at the surgical site of her recent hysterectomy for which she is being treated with antibiotics. She is in a lot of pain. Lord I ask that you remove her pain and heal her completely. In Jesus name I ask. Amen.

Heavenly Father I lift up The Kairos Prison Ministry in Arkansas to you in prayer. They will be taking the love of Jesus into the women's prison at McGee Arkansas on November the second, third, fourth and fifth. I pray that the room where they are witnessing will be filled with people. Lord I ask that many hearts will be touched as they hear the good news of Jesus. I pray for salvation of all who attend. I pray that the Holy Spirit will fill the room where this is held. I pray that your presence will be felt by all who attend. I lift up to you in prayer the team who will be witnessing to these women, I ask that you intervene with divine wisdom. Place words in their mouth as they witness that will touch hearts. I pray for a spiritual awakening in this prison. Lord I ask that they all come together in repentance and in acceptance of Jesus as their Lord and Savior. I pray that they will be so enlightened they will hunger and thirst for your word. I pray that they will grow in their Christianity and witness the love of Christ to all new inmates. Raise up strong Christians in this prison Lord. I pray that when those who have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior leave the prison they will go forward with the love of Jesus in their hearts. Heavenly Father I lift up Doug to you in prayer. He lost his job, had to file bankruptcy and things have been rough for he and his wife Patty. Doug has an interview for a job Fri. Heavenly Father I lift up Viki to you in prayer. She has hepatitis-C and her treatment has been interferon injections for the past six months. She received a call from her new doctor regarding her six month blood work. There is no change in her viral load, this means the medication has not been of benefit to her system. She had to stop the medication. She will be receiving a call from the research department to discuss other studies and medications that are available. The doctor also informed her that the other medications are much harder to take and they all come with more severe complications. Lord I ask that the new treatment will not cause side effects or serious complications. I ask that you give the doctors divine wisdom as to the treatment they choose for her. I ask that you keep her in your loving care. I ask for complete healing. In Jesus name I ask. Amen. 

Heavenly Father I lift up Les Leifken to you in prayer. He was recently diagnosed with the worst type of pancreatic cancer a person can get. He has been told that he has less than a year to live. Lord I ask that you keep Les in your loving care. I come before your throne and ask that you cover him with your healing power from above. I ask that you heal him completely, remove all the cancer from his pancreas. I ask that you wrap his wife and children in your arms of love and give them comfort during this difficult time. Heavenly Father I lift Judy Lemke up to you in prayer. Her son Richard died of cancer this year in May He was 36 years old and left behind a wife and 5 children. Lord I ask that you give her comfort in knowing that he is in heaven free from the pain of cancer and all the suffering that goes with this terrible disease. 10/12 Update
To all those who had been praying for Monique my mother in law, here's the update! On her second night at the hospital there was a close call, and the team actually woke her up as they were working on her. Apparently she would have gone softly in her sleep if she had not been in the hospital and under monitors.  Sunday her heat beat went from 36 to 60 beats per minute. Because of this she was afraid she would not get her operation until quite later! Today around 1:00 PM, she was on the table, and the Lord was with her. She was awake around 3:30 and getting better as she was talking to Marc (her son) on the phone. She should be out of hospital by Friday if all goes well. It was a simple procedure, and now she will have a better quality of life. Thank you so much for your prayers. I know all who knew prayed, and some of you even sent a word via email. I cut and pasted all the emails and gave them to her and her husband in a get well card. They were both touched, and quite surprised that I knew people who prayed!  I told her that not all sent email, but all prayed for her, and that was good. Thank you all so much for your prayers and support, you've all been so kind, and most supportive. I Know God heard, and Monique said this afternoon on the phone that she is speaking to "the one upstairs" God everyday since she's been in hospital. Not much about Claude her husband. Please keep praying that he gets closer to the Lord.  Now the real miracle is in their spiritual hearts! You are all very dear, God Bless you all so much! Love you all in Him.

Heavenly Father I lift up Cameron Denny to you in prayer, He is only eleven years old and he has cancer. He has been fighting this devastating disease for over a year now with radiation and chemotherapy.  Through it all he has remained very positive.  He always has a smile on his face. Recently Cameron was sent to Duke Medical Center to receive a bone marrow transplant. His mother was going to be the donor. He was sent back home because the doctors realized that the cancer is developing too fast and the transplant would not work. The doctors have given Cameron two weeks to two months to live. Even after receiving this news and as weak as he is when offered a wheelchair he said that he did not want one because there were children sicker than he that need it more. Father I ask that you wrap this precious young man in your arms of love. All that can be done for Cameron here on earth has been done. I come before you Lord and ask for a miracle. I ask that you cover him with your healing power from above. I ask for complete healing of all cancer in his body. This young man is a true inspiration of love. I don't personally know him but his kindness and love for others has certainly touched my heart in a big way. He is showing people who are placed before him what love is all about and I am sure he has touched many hearts with his caring ways. I ask that you give comfort to his mother and his loved ones. I ask that you draw each one close to you. If it is not your will to heal Cameron I ask for mercy. In Jesus name I ask. Amen.

 Heavenly Father I lift up Summer Rose to you in prayer. Three days after giving birth to this precious child her mother Krista fell with her as she was leaving the hospital. As a result from the fall Summer has a cracked skull, a blood clot, the brain is swollen and there is internal bleeding.  Her condition is very serious. Lord I ask that you wrap this precious child in your arms of love. I ask that you cover her with your healing power from above. I ask that you restore her skull to normal, remove the blood clot, and stop the eternal bleeding. Strengthen her little body Lord. Give divine guidance to the doctors who are treating her. I come before your throne Lord with love in my heart for this little child. I pray for her mother Krista. I ask that you hold her in your arms of love and comfort her. I ask that soon she will be walking out with Summer in her arms healthy in every way. I pray for her Grandfather John and the loved ones who love Summer and her mother that you comfort them Lord. Keep this family in your loving care and draw each one close to you. In Jesus name I ask for complete healing. Amen.

I just got off the phone (6:30 PM CST, Oct. 9th) from talking to Kristi Gray, mother of Summer Rose with an update on Summer.  They just returned home from having her at the doctor (she had been sent home from the hospital two days after the tragic accident!). First of all, I will tell you what the extent of her injuries were immediately after the accident.  She received approx. a 1" circular fracture of the skull at the top right side of her head.  This caused a blood clot the size of a golf ball to form which was leaking blood into the brain and causing the brain to swell.  Because of the trauma to the brain, Summer would not eat.The instinct to suck was hampered.  She lost nearly 1 1/2 lbs. After hearing about this accident and sending out many requests for prayer, people from all over the US and around the world (literally) began interceding.  Kristi said that Saturday Summer began to eat much like she had before the accident and she was seeing a dramatic change in her behavior.  But it was Sunday morning, the Lord's day, that Kristi said that as soon as Summer woke up and looked at Kristi, she could tell that she had her baby back. On Saturday, Kristi could still see the indication on her little head where the fracture was and could see where the golf ball sized clot was.  Sunday, the only evidence of either was some slight yellow discoloration on the skin around where the clot had been. Today's doctor's visit proved that Summer has already gained  to within 5 ozs. of her birth weight.The doctor was extremely pleased with her progress and could only see the discoloration on her skin also.  No X-rays were done today but will be done Thursday at the neurologist's apt. Because of the possibility of future problems due to a skull fracture of this nature on a newborn, Kristi will be taking Summer to the neurologist every 3 mos. for the next 2 years for testing. Many have asked how Kristi is doing also. Kristi is a very dedicated child of God and also a neonatal nurse.  She has, of course, been greatly heartsick because of this accident, but is seeing it for what it was - an accident!  She has sounded wonderfully in control all three times that I've talked to her.  She is giving our Lord the glory for all He has done! I would also like to say here that Kristi fell in her hospital room while waiting for the wheelchair to be brought to escort her down to be taken home.  Several people had asked about why the hospital didn't provide a wheelchair to transport mother and baby out of the hospital. Kristi was born without certain ligaments in her ankles and had surgery on them when she was 19.  Her weak ankle contributed to the fall when she slightly tripped on something.  Someone also asked where in Mississippi does Summer Rose & Kristi live.  They live in Hernando and she was hospitalized in Southaven.  Grandma & Grandpa John Miller live in Southaven and he is on staff at the Trinity Baptist Church in Southaven. We are Praising the Lord for His healing touch on Summer Rose.  Not only has He restored her health, but He has also overwhelmed us, Summer's great-grandparents, with an outpouring of support from His children, our brothers and sisters in Christ.  We have received approx. 75 e-mail messages, numerous phone calls and many words of support and prayer over the weekend at our church and literally everywhere we went.  Our hearts are overflowing with gratitude for His precious love and anointing upon our family. I want to thank John Mills, moderator of the Kansas Gospel Music list, which is one of the avenues I sent my prayer request to.  Because my husband's name is John Miller, many people who received this request from that list, sent their replies to John Mills instead of to John Miller. John Mills took precious time to forward those messages (about 65 in all) to us and we are deeply grateful. We would appreciate if you would forward this to anyone to whom you forwarded our original prayer request.  We want everyone to know this blessed and wonderful report. God Bless each of you!  Greetings to all, Many have requested a current update of baby Summer Rose Gray.  She went to the neurologist yesterday and he was VERY pleased with her progress. Currently he is seeing NO signs of effect from the trauma to the brain and skull fracture.  The blood clot is NO LONGER a concern either.  He said that now all they will need to do is take skull X-rays in 6 weeks to make sure that it is healing properly so as not to cause seizures later in life.  He said that 1 in 100 will not heal properly on their own, so they must keep a watch for that. I am Kristi's grandma by marriage and I live in Kansas.  Kristi lives in Mississippi and does not have a computer for me to have forwarded all your messages and prayers of support to her.  However, rest assured that Kristi will receive all your messages and will be able to read every word because I have made them into a booklet for her.  I already mailed her the booklet with the first 66 messages in it and have since received nearly 100 more that I will send to her to update her booklet. I know these messages will uplift her and give her as much (if not more) encouragement as they did us.  I Praise The Lord for your tender spirits and you taking the time to send words and prayers of comfort to our family.
