Heavenly Father I lift up Jo Jo Cline to you in prayer. He was in a car accident this past Wednesday, his father George was killed. His father was a coach and a teacher. Jo Jo is only around six years old and he lays in a coma in a hospital. They had been at Church at the time of the accident, they pulled out of the Calvary Baptist Church parking lot and an eighteen wheeler coal truck hit them. George died at the scene of the accident. As a result of the accident Jo Jo has both legs broken, his jaw is broke and he has swelling of the brain. Lord I ask that you wrap this precious child in your arms of love. I ask that you cover him with your healing power from above. I ask that you remove any pain or discomfort that he may be in. I ask that you give the doctors and medical staff wisdom as they care for Jo Jo. I come before your Heavenly Throne on behalf of this precious little boy and I ask that you heal him completely from all injuries. I ask that you give comfort to him when he hears the news of his father. I ask that you give him wisdom to know that George is in Heaven and that he will see him again one day. I ask that you keep the memories of his father forever fresh in his little mind. I pray that he will grow up to serve you Lord. I ask that you give comfort to family and friends and draw each one close to you. I ask that Jo Jo be a testimony to doctors, medical staff, family, friends and strangers of your healing power and of the power of prayer. I ask for complete healing. I ask in the name of Jesus. Thank you so much for your prayers and concern.  Mr. George Cline Jr. was a dear friend to many of us and I worked with him 8 years at Iaeger High School.  His son Jo Jo is still in need of many prayers.  His condition has not worsened but it has not improved a great deal either.  If you could for a second imagine a little boy that always had a smile for all and the sweetness of an angel :)  that may begin to describe this child. Please continue to pray for Jo Jo and his family.  As for my dear friend George, he loved the Lord and lived it every day and night of his life.  He is sadly missed but has received his just reward in the arms of God :).  Take care, Sherry and Kerri

George Cline Jr. wife's name is Melony and he has a beautiful daughter from a previous marriage, Tiffany who will graduate from the high school this year where he taught and coached. You are precious for keeping this prayer vigil. Rest assured that his wife Melony, Tiffany, Mom, Dad and Sister are all good Christian people and thankful for all prayers. George was physically handicapped and overcame many surgeries and adverse conditions in his life.  He taught and coached several sports and had a masters degree in education. He lifted many people up in the name of God.  Please keep those prayers going for Jo Jo.  He is still fighting to recover, his condition has not improved a great deal. Jo Jo did undergo another surgery a week or so ago and I haven't had an update this week.  I will let you know as I can. Thank you so much.

Hi, Sorry for all the delay, but good news about JoJo : ) He is talking some now and actually took a few steps. He is in a rehabilitation hospital and still needs prayer. Thank you to everyone. Sherry

The last I heard, JoJo was doing fine. Gracie (grandmother) had him out visiting with friends and relatives.  He seems to be responding and physically doing well. When I hear more I'll let you know. Hi Charlotte, I haven't heard anything about Jo Jo in a long time.  However, I did see him on one of my visits back home,  but didn't get to speak with him or his family. He appears to be doing good.  I often think of him and his father also and I think it is so kind that you continue to pray for him. His father was a dear friend of mine and sadly missed but I know his soul is at rest with the Lord.  He lived in God's light and I can only hope that someday I can do the same.  Keep us in your prayers. Heavenly Father I lift up Tom to you in prayer. He had a small heart attack, but they think it is something else working on him that caused it. At this point the doctor still doesn't know what that something else is. The heart attack did some damage, how much is not known. Lord I ask that you wrap Tom in your arms of love. I ask that you draw him close to you. I ask that you comfort him and remove any pain or discomfort that he may be having. I ask that you direct the doctors and lead them to find the cause of his heart attack. I ask that nothing serious be the cause and whatever has caused it the doctors will be able to treat. I ask that no serious damage be found in his heart. I ask that you cover Tom with your healing power from above. I ask that you give complete healing to his body. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

They know he had a heart attack, but there is no damage, they can't find anything that proves he had one. He is doing better now. I praise God for that.  He is still on medication and his condition remains stable. I know that God had a hand in that.  I told Tom so, too.  Let him think on that for a while. Love, Pat

Heavenly Father I lift up my mother-in-law Logene to you in prayer. She has been a diabetic for quite a few years now. Her blood sugar went up to five hundred a few days ago. She was admitted to the hospital for two days and released today. The level is now down to about two hundred, which is still to high. She is feeling very weak and tired. She is in a wheel chair as a result of a stroke a few years ago. One side of her is completely paralyzed. Her daughters Ellen, Shelby, Elva and Elaine work in shifts taking care of her. They also have outside help as well. Lord I ask that you wrap Logene in your arms of love. I ask that you draw her close to you. I ask that you bring her sugar level to the normal range. I ask that you give strength to her weakened body. I ask that you restore movement where she is paralyzed. I ask that you bring her out of that wheel chair. I ask that you give comfort to her daughters who take very good care of her. I ask that you give them strength to lift her when needed. I ask that you draw each one close to you. I ask that Logene be a testimony to doctors, friends, family and strangers of your healing power and of the power of prayer. I ask for complete healing. I ask in the name of Jesus.

My mother-in-law remains in a wheelchair, her speech is very slow at times especially when she is tired. Her brother JC passes on yesterday, please keep the family in your prayers. Thank you. In Christ Love Charlotte

Heavenly Father, Sarah is missing. Please wrap Your loving, protective arms around her. Hold her close to You and speak to her, tell her that her family wants her back.  Tell her she is loved.  I know she is probably very afraid, comfort her, give her the strength and desire to return to her family, Father.  In Your infinite wisdom and mercy, shield her from all harm; open her heart and her ears to Your voice and guide her home to her loved ones, safely, unharmed.  I ask this in Jesus' precious name, Amen.

Heavenly Father I lift up Sharyn to you in prayer. She has been diagnosed with pneumonia and suffers from acute asthma. She has not been sleeping very well since she has had this illness. Lord I ask that you wrap Sharyn in your arms of love. I ask that you draw her close to you.  I ask that you cover her with your healing power from above. I ask that you open her lungs so she can breathe freely. I ask that she be able to get some much needed sleep and rest. I ask that you clear the pneumonia from her lungs and heal her of asthma. I ask for a speedy recovery. I ask for complete healing. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.


Heavenly Father I lift up Gary's dad to you in prayer. He has cancer in the throat, one lump is on the base of the tongue and another is in the node. He is scheduled to have seven weeks of radiation and chemotherapy treatments. Gary is also ill, he has been diagnosed with Hepatitis C. Lord I ask that you wrap Gary and his dad in your arms of love. I ask that you draw them close to you. I ask that you cover them with your healing power from above. I ask that you remove any pain or discomfort that they may be in. I ask that you remove all cancer from Gary's dad and give him a speedy recovery. I ask that you restore Gary's health and heal him from Hepatitis C. I pray that both father and son will be a testimony of your healing power and of the power of prayer. I ask for complete healing. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Heavenly Father I lift up Hannah to you in prayer. She was admitted to the hospital due to an ear infection which has spread to her lungs. She is only a few weeks old. Hannah was placed in an oxygen tent and they are giving her breathing treatments. Lord I ask that you wrap this precious baby in your arms of love I ask that you cover her with your healing power from above. I ask that you remove the infection in her ears and lungs. I ask that you open her lungs so she can breathe freely on her own. I ask that you give her a speedy recovery and return her home to her family so they can enjoy this precious child. I ask that you give comfort to her parents and loved ones and draw each one close to you. I ask that you remove any fear that they have and replace it with calmness and peace in knowing that you are there with them. I ask for complete healing. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Heavenly Father I lift up Bonnie Ginn to you in prayer. Her mother passed away in October of 2000 as a result of lung cancer. Her mother was a smoker which was probably the cause of her cancer. Bonnie also smokes and is trying to quit. Lord I ask that you keep Bonnie in your loving care. I ask that you draw her close to you. I ask that you keep the memories of her Mom forever fresh within her mind until the day they meet again in your eternal home. I ask that you place a desire in Bonnie to stop smoking, I ask that the craving for nicotine be forever removed. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Heavenly Father I lift up Vera to you in prayer. She had surgery last year on one of her legs, the doctor placed a plastic vein in it. She was in the hospital for a long time. The surgery took place around August of last year and recovery has been very slow. She is walking very slowly with the help of a walker, but has to be very careful. Last week during a routine physical, she found out that she has breast cancer. Surgery has been scheduled for April 4th. Vera is in her late sixties and has a wonderful disposition. She very calmly told her neighbors about the cancer and acts as if it is just routine stuff and has faith that you will take care of her Lord. People from her church have been very helpful, taking her to the doctors, buying groceries, picking up medications, etc. Her daughter, two sons and their families live in town and are always there for her as well. Vera's oldest son Michael has Hepatitis C and is on chemotherapy, which keeps him feeling poorly most of the time. Lord I ask that you wrap Vera in your arms of love. I ask that you draw her close to you. I ask that you remove any pain or discomfort that she may be having. I ask that you heal her completely of breast cancer. If healing is to come through the hands of a surgeon I ask that you guide his hands and bring her through safely, completely healed with no complications. Whatever method of treatment is to be done for Vera I ask that she be healed completely. I ask that you heal her leg and give strength to her body so much so that she will be able to walk without using a walker. I ask that you give comfort to her family during this difficult time and draw each one close to you. I ask that you give strength to Vera's son Michael and heal him completely from Hepatitis C. I ask that you remove any pain or discomfort that he may be having. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

My friend Vera has moved into an assisted living complex.  She survived breast cancer surgery but still having problem with her legs.  Can still drive herself most anywhere she wants to, but must walk with the help of a walker or cane.  She is very thin but looks really good.  She sold her home to her youngest son, Michael. Michael and his wife are living in the home and are doing well. Vera continues in my prayers. Thank you, Charlotte, for all your prayers.  I know Vera is very appreciative, as is her family, for all the prayers.  I will try to keep you updated when I can. Love, Hilda

  Vera placed herself in an assisted living home and is happy there. Her health continues to fail but I don't know the details. Her son, Michael, and his wife bought the family home from Vera when she moved and he never tells us more than she's okay, but her health keeps going down. Heavenly Father I lift up Lisa to you in prayer. Lisa is in her early fifties and has been diagnosed with cancer. The cancer is in her lungs and breast. She has been on many different medications and chemotherapy treatments, at the current time nothing has helped. Lord I ask that you wrap Lisa in your arms of love. I ask that you draw her close to you. I ask that you remove any pain or discomfort that she may be having. I ask that you cover Lisa with your healing power from above. I ask that you give comfort to her husband and daughters and draw each one close to you. I ask that you give them strength to be of help to Lisa during her illness. Lisa is in such horrible pain and her daughter tells me she looks just awful. They are giving her a different type of chemo, she has to go every so many weeks to San Francisco for the treatments. She lives in Reno and I believe the drive isn't pleasant for her. I keep praying and looking for a miracle and I have tried to prepare her daughter, Jennifer, should the inevitable happen. She and I are not of the same faith but I have sent her some pamphlets I picked up at our church that are helpful when you find yourself in a situation such as she is in at this time.  Please keep Lisa in your prayers. Lisa's daughter tells me that right now she's doing a little better. The daughter is very concerned because Lisa and her husband Larry are drifting away from the Lord, every time she feels better by running off to the casinos to gamble. They reason that God's not healing her so they may as well enjoy what time is left. Lisa's daughter is a good Christian woman and is very concerned for her mother's spiritual life. Please continue to pray Lisa. Love, Hilda

Lisa passed away this year.  The cancer finally took over.  Her daughter Jennifer has not contacted me since the death of her mother.  I still write to her but never get any responses.  Her marriage dissolved prior to her Mom's death.  I continue to pray for her and the family and am trusting the Lord.  He knows what's best. Heavenly Father I lift up Denise to you in prayer. She has what was originally skin cancer. She had a mole on her head removed fourteen years ago. The cancer is accelerated by female hormones, so they were told to wait for a period of ten years before having another child. They had passed the ten years suggested waiting period and decided it was time to have another baby as Denise would be thirty-eight years old. Denise conceived and gave birth to a daughter and named her Grace. Now it has been found that cancer has invaded Denise's lungs, kidneys, liver and brain, she has been diagnosed terminal and has only a few weeks to live. Grace was tested to make sure that she was free of cancer and she tested negative, no cancer found in or on her little body. Thank you Lord! The doctors have started chemotherapy treatment on Denise's brain in hopes of helping to keep her from loosing her eye sight, hearing etc. Denise also has another daughter who is around the age of six or seven, her name is Emily. The families of both Denise and Mark are there to help out as well as long time friends of the family. Lord my heart aches for this family, the joy of giving birth to a daughter and then the heartache of being told that cancer has been found followed by the news that she has been given only a few weeks to live has to be devastating. Lord I ask that you wrap Denise in your arms of love. I ask that you draw her close to you. I ask that you remove any pain or discomfort that she may be having. I ask that you remove any fear and replace it with calmness and peace. I ask that you give comfort to Mark, their daughter Emily, and their friends and family and draw each one close to you. I ask that you give them strength to get through this painful time in their lives.  I thank you that Grace came safely into the world healthy and cancer free. I ask that you wrap Grace and Emily in your arms of love and keep them from the illness of cancer. Lord I come before your Heavenly Throne on behalf of Denise and ask for a miracle. I ask that you remove all cancer from her body just as you removed the bleeding problem from the lady who bled for many years and used all of her money seeking doctors to help her. She is your hands Lord for all that can be done here on earth for her has been done. Heavenly Father I lift up Kim to you in prayer. She has problems with her gallbladder and she was just diagnosed with a pinched nerve in the left side of her neck. She is afraid that she won't be able to find a doctor who will see her because of her many health problems. Lord I ask that you wrap Kim in your arms of love. I ask that you draw her close to you. I ask that you remove any fear that she may be having and replace it with calmness and peace. I ask that you remove any pain or discomfort that she may be in. I ask that you lead her to finding a good doctor who will be able to help her with the treatments available to her for her conditions. I ask that you heal her completely. If healing is to come through the hands of a surgeon I ask that you place her with one who is qualified in treating her illness. I ask that you keep her in your loving care. 3/29 Update
I'm still having a lot of problems, I went to my wrist doctor today and he told me that surgery was a definite. Just have to wait now to see when I'll be getting the surgery done...I want you to thank all those people who are still praying for me, right now I could use them all. It's hard for me to deal with all of my problems, sometimes I sit and cry knowing that someday I'll get better with the help of God guiding me I won't give up because I am too strong and I know that there are people out there far worse than I could ever be. Heavenly Father I lift up Lisa to you in prayer. She has a man named Darin living in her house and she has told him that she wants him out. He refuses to leave and has threatened her life if she calls the police. Lord I ask that you wrap Lisa in your arms of love. I ask that you surround her with a hedge of protection from the threats of this man. I ask that a way be provided to keep him away from her and out of her house. I ask that you protect and keep her safe. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

 I am happy to say Lisa got him out. Took his dad five hours and it was one A.M. before he was gone. Rev. Shirley is still worried because she has only written one line sentences since, so we are praying she is OK and he is not back in the house and no harm has come to her. Please pray that she is OK. The first step was to get him out which she did with the Lord's help. I know and I pray He will intervene on her behalf and keep her safe from him.

 Heavenly Father I lift up Taylor to you in prayer. Taylor is seven years old. She has battled with cancer from the age of four and a half to the age of six. She has been through so much for such a young child. Cancer has almost taken her life three times. A celebration took place last year when the cancer went into remission. Now it seems that the tumor in her cheek has come back. This time she must go through extensive and critical surgery, followed by chemotherapy treatments and reconstructive surgery.  When Taylor was told she asked if she would lose her hair again. When her mother told her yes, she smiled and said "That's OK...my dad will be losing his again too."  When they shaved her head to keep her from going through the trauma of it falling out, they also shaved her dad's. Lord I ask that you wrap this precious child in your arms of love. I ask that you draw her close to you. I ask that you take away any fear that she may have and replace it with calmness and peace. I ask that you give comfort to her and take away any pain that she may be in. I ask that you cover her with your healing power from above. I ask that you guide the surgeons hands as he goes in to remove the tumor from her cheek. I ask that you bring Taylor safely through the surgery completely healed with no complications. I ask that she be a testimony to the doctors, the surgeon, friends, family and strangers of your healing power and of the power of prayer. I pray that Taylor will have a long life and that she will serve you and walk in your ways. I pray that she will share her testimony of your healing power to everyone that she meets. Heavenly Father I lift up Glenda's family to you in prayer. Her husband, son, son's girlfriend, daughter and daughter's boyfriend are all going to church with her tomorrow. Lord I ask that you wrap them in your arms of love. I ask that you draw them close to you and that you speak to each one tomorrow through your word. I ask that you place a desire in their hearts to know you. I pray that they leave Church tomorrow with a new life in Christ. I pray for their salvation. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Heavenly Father I lift up Susie to you in prayer. She has been very ill for the past six months and now a spot has been found on her lungs. Lord I ask that you wrap Susie in your arms of love. I ask that you draw her close to you. I ask that you remove the spot from her lungs and  when more test are ran she will get a good report. I ask that you cover her with your healing power from above. I ask that you give strength to her weakened body. I ask for complete healing. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Heavenly Father I lift up Karl Henise to you in prayer. He has been diagnosed with liver cancer, the cancer is in the center of his liver. They cannot operate due to the size and because of it's location. He has two more treatments to go. Lord I ask that you wrap Karl in your arms of love. I ask that you draw him close to you. If he has any fear I ask that you replace that fear with peace in knowing that you are with him each step of the way. I ask that you remove any pain and discomfort that he may be having. I ask that you give him comfort and give strength to his body. I ask that his last two treatments be filled with your healing power. I ask that all cancer be removed from his liver. I ask that when the time comes for a report from the doctor that he will receive a good one. I ask that he be a testimony to his friends, family, medical staff and strangers of your healing power and of the power of prayer. I ask for complete healing in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Heavenly Father I lift up Chuck you in prayer. He has been diagnosed as having a hernia. I ask that you wrap Chuck in your arms of love. I ask that you draw him close to you. I ask that you give him comfort and remove any pain or discomfort that he may be having. If healing is to come through the hands of a surgeon I ask that you guide the surgeon's hands. I ask that you bring Chuck through the surgery with no complications and completely healed. I ask that you give him a speedy recovery. Thank you to all of you who prayed for my husband and asked for an update. Chuck came through his hernia surgery with flying colors on the 5th of July, 48 hrs. ago, and is healing remarkably well. He's up and about and not needing anymore pain pills. His spirits are good, and he knows that God is responsible for his rapid recovery. Thank you so much for your prayers. Heavenly Father I lift up Dawn to you in prayer. She has had the flu for three weeks now and was beginning to improve. She was eating and gaining her strength and getting some color back in her cheeks and suddenly took a turn for the worse. She didn't sleep at all Wednesday night and when she woke up she was very tired, felt achy and was running a low grade fever. By noon time she was experiencing numbness in her arms and legs and her right hand was in a spasm, she couldn't even extend her fingers. Her color was very pale and she felt cold to the touch. Her DR was called and he advised that she be taken to Urgent Care. When Dawn's husband went to help her get on her feet she collapsed. She started to cry and said she couldn't do it and felt like she was going to pass out. 911 was called and an ambulance came and took her to the hospital. They did blood work on her and hooked her up on an IV. The Dr. said she was badly dehydrated. They got her straightened out and sent her home, after she arrived home she went straight to bed. Lord I ask that you wrap Dawn in your arms of love. I ask that you draw her close to you. I ask that you cover her with your healing power from above and give strength to her body. I ask that you give comfort to her mother Holly who is with her taking care if her and her children. I ask in the name of Jesus.
3/29 Update
Hi Everyone.....Please pray for Dawn. She has been sick for more than a month now. The Dr. still doesn't know what the problem is. The Dr. has done about every test imaginable and so far everything has come up normal. Dawn has lost over 20 pounds and is still very weak and tired all the time. She is still light, noise and smell sensitive. Please pray that the Lord will touch Dawn and heal her body soon. She is tired of laying around & sleeping all day and having know energy. I will extend my flight back home for another week. Please pray for my family in Denver as it has been hard for me to be gone a month now. Thank you All for your prayers in advance. 3/31 Update
Hi Everyone....Have a wonderful story for you concerning Dawn. She is still very weak and tired and dizzy. She is regaining her strength day by day slowly. Her appetite is coming back and she seems brighter and happier. She has been doing better since Wednesday. Now for the story. Wednesday afternoon Dawn was lying in a makeshift bed I was sleeping on in the dining room. I was outside playing with the kids. Dawn told me later that she had God's promise that she would be well soon. As Dawn lay there on this bed in the dining room she said she felt so tired and so sick and weak and cried out to the Lord saying "Lord where are you, please take this from me. Lord I know you gave your son's life for me.. Lord if you want to take me now I am ready Lord...if your not ready for me to go, please heal me" Then Dawn heard the Lord tell her He wasn't going to take her and that this was a lesson for many to learn from and that she would be healed and that He had never left her. Then Dawn said she felt someone sit on the edge of the bed and she felt so comforted to know someone was in the room with her. When she opened her eyes there was know one there. She began to weep and instantly knew it was the Lord that was sitting beside her.  Since Wednesday afternoon Dawn has progressively gotten better and better. Its a slow going...but it is in God's timing...AMEN!!  Love, Holly 
4/1 Update
Hi Everyone....Well...we are going on five weeks of this sickness. Dawn is really done with this and wants her life back.  She continues to lose weight. She is so tired all the time and her glands in her neck are very swollen. She is having a hard time swallowing because of it.  Today (Monday) Dawn has a Dr appointment at 4:30 PM. He will be testing her for Mono. All of Dawn's symptoms sound like mono. Please continue to pray for Dawn. Thank you so much! Blessings to you all....Holly

Hi Everyone...Well...I am still in California taking care of Dawn and the kids ( 7th week). This has been a long haul. Dawn is slowly regaining her strength. She is eating a little more, but has lost 2 more pounds. Not good. Since my last e-mail Dawn has had some ups and downs....but is recovering. She still has the dizziness and pounding heart with a skip every once in a while. Anyway....this morning Dawn had a heart monitor put on her for 24 hrs and we will know the results in 2 weeks.  Thank you so much for all your prayers. I will keep in touch. Hi Everyone.....Just wanted to update you on Dawn. As of Tuesday Dawn was doing so well. She even drove her brand new van, for the first time, to the Dr.'s office, but was unable to drive home because she felt dizzy again. She has been lying down ever since. Dawn feels like she was gaining strength and stamina and then took 10 steps backwards. I want to thank all of you for your prayers and your love. Even though we are all struggling in some way with this temporary illness....the Lord has blessed us with his patients and grace and is teaching us the true meaning of dying to self. Update 7/09/01
Hi Everyone.....It's been awhile since my last update on Dawn so here goes. Dawn is pretty much experiencing the same symptoms she was a couple months ago. The Dr.'s at this time cannot find anything wrong with her and it is possible that she does have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome but they cannot diagnose it as such until you have this fatigue six months or more. Dawn had some blood work down a month ago and it showed that she is producing a greater amount of antibodies in her body which means she is fighting a virus....which can be the Epstein Barr Virus. This virus is hard to detect in some people and sometimes doesn't come up positive in your blood after you have had it for a year or more. This has all been very frustrating for us. I am still in California with Dawn. I will be going back home to Denver in one week. Paul is worried he won't be able to handle this alone. They will have help from Paul's Mom for a month, but after that we don't know. Paul quit his present job to go with something that would give him more flexible hours. Dawn is on a strict sleeping and eating schedule. If she doesn't eat or sleep when she needs to the unfortunate consequence is her body shuts down and is tired all the time for weeks. Then she starts all over again to regain her strength. I have  a sad note, my husband left me a few weeks ago again for the other woman he met before. He said he doesn't love me anymore and he doesn't want to stay with me. I was very upset because of that but I have to go on with my live as God wants me to. The point I didn't understand was that he knew I was pregnant by him and he still left me. I have and had a very rough time but I'm not going to give up and I'm going to fight for what I believe in. On May 18, I had to go through an abortion because of the high risk for me. It was very hard but God was with me that time and I know he will be with me all the time. I had to make a decision my life or the baby. I had three c-sections and the doctor told me it would be very dangerous to carry  the baby in so short of a time after the last c-section. I thought the baby would bring us even closer together but it made him run away. I ask God to forgive me but I cant forgive myself for making the decision I had to make. Please keep me and my children in your prayers. I will go the way that God wants me to go. And I know God will show us the way go. Thanks so much for praying for us. She has been having suicidal thoughts and she is overcome by feelings of hopelessness. Lord I ask that you wrap Glenda in your arms of love. I ask that you draw her close to you. I ask that you remove the depression that she feels and replace it with joy. I ask that you remove suicidal thoughts and feelings of hopelessness and replace them with peace and a desire to live. Heavenly Father I lift up Jeanie to you in prayer. She has been a good friend for many years. She had a stroke which has left her paralyzed on her right side and has taken her speech. My visit with her was very nice but hard to see her in a wheel chair and not able to talk or stand. Amazing to me that I could not understand a word that she said but when I left I said to her "I love you friend and clearly she said I love you too." Wonderful words to my ears. Lord I ask that you wrap Jeanie in your arms of love. I ask that you draw her close to you. I ask if she has accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior she answered yes, I do not know this to be true or not. Lord only you know her heart. If she has not accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior I pray for her salvation. I ask that you restore all movement to her body.  I ask that you will give her complete recovery from the paralysis and loss of speech. I ask that you heal her completely. Misty went to the doctor today and praise God the baby has turned in the right position to be born. God is so good! Please keep praying for both. He has dropped some but not enough to be born. Update 3/21
Wilford's report was just about as bad as it could be. The type cancer he has been diagnosed with has no cure rate. The oncologist said it was far advanced and that he would leave it up to Wilford whether to try and take the only known drugs for it. They are probably just going to make him sicker with what time he has left. He said only God knows the length of time, but he felt Dr. Tozer was somewhere in the ball park on the time Wilford has left. At first I didn't think Wilford would go for the treatments and he still hasn't said for sure if  he will, but whatever he does I will stand behind him and do all I can for him.  He said he would just continue to get weaker and lose more weight, etc.... what it boils down to is that if he chooses the treatments they will prolong his time a little bit but no cure. We need your prayers, we still ask that you pray for healing because miracles still do happen.   Peg

Heavenly Father I lift up my grandson Justin to you in prayer. I thank you for this precious little child for he has truly brought joy to my life. I thank you that the hole in his heart is closing and that surgery will not be needed. Lord I come before your heavenly throne once again on behalf of Justin. He is scheduled to have blood work today to check for thyroid problems etc. His skin has a yellowish tint, the DR said that could be caused from the yellow vegetables he is eating. Hi Friends, There is very little improvement since my eye surgery on April 24th. They look better,  they are not black anymore, but they feel terrible. My eyes are really uncomfortable. The doctor did not seem very encouraging when I went to see him. He just said we will have to wait two months to see if it worked. There is nothing they can give me for the discomfort caused by the shunts. If the doctor were optimistic,  it would make going through this much easier. My eyes are filled with water half of the time, so it makes everything a little blurred. I am a hairdresser and the chemicals and hairsprays are really an aggravation too. But, this is the job I have done for 20 years. I guess you can tell I am pretty bummed out over this.  I have been getting depressed at times, but I keep trying to think positive.  I know I need to trust in the Lord. I don't know why I am having trouble with that. I continue to pray. I know there are people out there who have much worse problems,  so I feel I should just try not to let this get me down, It is just so uncomfortable, Anyway, thanks for your prayers.  Please continue to lift me up and ask for healing. Heavenly Father I lift up Burl to you in prayer. He is in the VA Hospital in Georgia as result of having blood clots from his ankle to his thigh. The doctor will be treating him with blood thinners. The doctor said it was a miracle that the clots had not gone into his lungs and stopped his breathing. Thank you Lord! Any movement in his leg could cause this to happen. He has been in pain for almost a week now, he can barely walk ten feet without excruciating pain. Lord I ask that you wrap Burl in your arms of love. I ask that you draw him close to you. I ask that you remove the clots from his body. I ask that you heal him completely. I ask that you comfort him and remove any pain or discomfort that he may be in. I ask that you comfort his wife and draw her close to you. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen. 

Heavenly Father I lift up Krizza to you in prayer. She has been diagnosed with acute leukemia. She has been ill from this disease for nearly a year now. Last month the doctor told her parents that the cancer is relapsing rapidly, the cancer has spread to her bones and somewhat in the brain. For the past two weeks she has suffered so much pain in her knees. The first three days the pain was so unbearable, she cried she just couldn't take it. The doctor had to give her morphine to give her relief. After chemotherapy treatments and four days of taking morphine, she no longer feels the pain. The doctors have said that she could go into remission or they can remove the malignant cells in her body in four to six weeks. This will be her last chance to have a bone marrow transplant. The transplant will be done in Bangkok and they live far away from there. The doctors have informed her parents that there are risks involved and that they need to be strong. Lord I ask that you wrap Krizza in your arms of love. I ask that you draw her close to you. I ask that you remove any pain and discomfort that she may be in. If she does not go into remission and healing is to come through a bone marrow transplant I ask that a way be provided for her to go to Bangkok to have it done. I ask that you guide the hands of the doctor who will be doing this procedure. I ask that you bring Krizza through safely with no complications and completely healed from all cancer. I ask that you give comfort to her family and draw each one close to you. I ask that you give them wisdom and understanding of your word as they seek to know you Lord. I ask that Krizza's healing be a testimony to the doctors, medical staff, strangers, family and friends of your healing power and of the power of prayer. The coming together of sisters and brothers in Christ in prayer and love for Krizza. I come before your heavenly throne and ask these things in the name of Jesus. Amen.

I'm very sorry if  I didn't write any news from Krizzia.  But it doesn't mean that I forgot all of you there who is helping us of prayers. Krizzia died April 25 in Bangkok. Even now everything seems unfair to me because of what happened.  There's a lot of questions in my heart and mind that I feel so confused I still cannot believe that I cannot even touch or hear her voice. You are the first one I write this mail to say what happened.  Because there is a feeling here inside me that I

Heavenly Father I lift up David to you in prayer. When he was at Church tonight he was struck by another teen. As a result he has bruises on his face, chest and head. All of this violence happened because of a misunderstanding, David was accused of hiding the teens scooter, which he says he is not guilty of. Even if his accusations were true it still gives this young man no right to strike David in any way. David didn't hit back in retaliation he turned the other cheek. Lord I ask that you wrap David in your arms of love. I ask that you cover him with your healing power from above. I ask that you draw him close to you. Better a man is he as he turned the other cheek. I ask that you place a feeling of remorse in the heart of the young man who did this to David. I ask that you draw him close to you. He will be in surgery for at least five hours. Lord we come together in prayer and ask that you wrap this precious child in your arms of love. We ask that you guide the surgeons hand and all the medical staff and bring Stuart through safely with no complications and completely healed. We ask that his recovery be a speedy one. Sunday, March 11 at 9:30 P.M. and he hasn't been seen or heard from since. The sheriff is looking for him and the U.S. Marshall. They searched his dad's home Tuesday night, no one knows where he is. Lord I ask that you wrap P. J. in your arms of love. I ask that you place a hedge of protection around him. I ask that you keep him safe from harm. If he is running away from the Army purposely I ask that you place a desire in his heart to turn himself in. We still don't know where PJ is. He called his mom  last week, but he wouldn't tell her where he was, he said he was all right and not to worry about him, He is not in his car, so someone is with him and driving him. He just got a $4000 bonus, so we don't know if he was possibly robbed and kidnapped. I know the whole family is upset, but I will let you know if I hear anything. It is real nice for you to keep him in your prayers, I know one thing if he is OK, when they find him, he is in lot of trouble with the army. Heavenly Father I lift up Lindsey to you in prayer. She is fourteen years old and has been diagnosed with a brain tumor. The tumor is located in the center of her brain and it is three to five centimeters in size. She attends a youth group at a Baptist Church in Georgia. Lord I ask that you wrap this precious young girl in your arms of love. I ask that you draw her close to you. I ask that you give comfort to her and remove any fear that she may be having. I ask that you remove the tumor from the center of her brain. If healing is to come through the hands of a surgeon I ask that you guide his hands. I ask that you bring her through with no complications and completely healed. I ask that you give comfort to her friends and loved ones. I ask that you bring the youth group that she attends together in love and prayer for their sister in Christ. Thank you Lord for this young ladies salvation. I was just writing to give you all an update on Lindsey. I plan to keep each of you informed of her condition. Lindsey began her radiation and chemotherapy treatments last week.  She has had two rounds of radiation and two rounds of chemo., and it has not made her sick.  Praise the Lord!!!!!  She will be going back next week to continue her treatments.  She and her family are staying at the Ronald McDonald House, and they love it and the people there.  I also wanted to tell each of you Thank you so much for your prayers and for sending the prayer chain to everyone.  We have had an awesome response, and it really encourages Lindsey to hear from people she doesn't even know who are concerned. Also, she has really been encouraged by all the letters of people who have had God perform miracles and healing in their lives.  I just wanted to let each of you know, even though I may not know you we still have a connection and that is Jesus Christ.  I love each of you and I will keep you posted.  Friends in Christ

Hello everyone, I just thought I would give you all an update on Lindsey. Lindsey is still doing great, she has yet to get sick from her treatments. About two weeks ago she did begin losing her hair pretty bad, so when my daddy went up to visit her she got him to shave the rest of it off. She really responded well to losing her hair. In May, some members of my church are going to have a fund raiser, where they raise money for Lindsey and they shave their hair also. She has the rest of this week and three days next week and she will be through with radiation, so she'll get to be home for a while. Lindsey had her 14th birthday last week (April 11th), since she had to be in Atlanta, my parents took her to Stone Mountain to celebrate. The biggest praise report of all is that Lindsey is still eager to spread the word of God to others.  About two weeks ago, our youth ministry went to sing and give testimonies at another church and Lindsey felt well enough to get up there with us (answered prayer).  Thank you all so much for continuing to remember Lindsey in your prayers.  God does answer prayers and I can see his hand in this situation as he has pulled a community of believers together.  Thanks again and may God bless each of you in a mighty and special way.  Friends in Christ,  Paula Tomberlin

Heavenly Father I lift up Sheila's family to you in prayer. Her daughter Sara is in a custody battle concerning her children Dakota and Quinton. These children have different fathers. False accusations have been made against Kenny (Sheila's son) who is mentally handicapped. There is a lot of hatred and confusion going on in this family right now. Lord I ask that you keep each person involved in your loving care. I ask that you draw each one close to you. I do not know the truth of this situation but you do Lord. I ask that the truth prevail. I ask that you place a hedge of protection around this family against the evil one and his lies. I ask that you bring everyone together in love and forgiveness for one another no matter the outcome of this situation for the sake of the children. Heavenly Father I lift up Peter to you in prayer. He is scheduled to have a cat scan Tuesday, March 13. He has had a bad cough and is spitting up blood. He had to be put on medication due to depression from losing his wife last year as well. Lord I ask that you wrap Peter in your arms of love. I ask that nothing of a serious nature be found in the results of the cat scan. Whatever is causing the cough I ask that it be treatable with the proper medication. I ask that you remove depression and replace it with peace in knowing that Virginia is now safe with you and all of her suffering here has ended. I ask that you give him peace in knowing that he will see her again one day.  I ask that you place a desire in his heart to go back to the church where his wife attended as they are all waiting to welcome him with arms of love. I ask that you give him strength to get through this difficult time in his life. I ask that you give comfort to him and draw him close to you. I ask that you give comfort to Peter's daughter Margie as she too is having a difficult time dealing with her mother not being here. Margie is a loving person with a heart filled with kindness and compassion. She loved her Mom so much and took such good care of her. Now she has to care for her father and see to his needs. I have been in touch with Peter's daughter Margie, she said Peter is doing fine and all test were OK. She said to thank everyone for lifting her dad up to the Lord in prayer. She ask that you keep her brother in prayer, he got angry at her and said he never wants to speak to her again. She has went out of her way to be nice to him and he has nothing to do with her. This has been going on for over a month now. Please pray for his salvation and that he makes peace with Margie. Update 6/14
Margie's brother is speaking to her again and their relationship is getting a little better. Please continue in prayer for the family, it has been difficult for them since Margie's mother passed on to be with the Lord. Thank you for your prayers.

Heavenly Father I lift up Miriam and her husband to you in prayer. They are having financial difficulties. They relocated from NY to GA. Miriam's husband left behind a good paying job. He is presently earning a little more then minimum wage. They are barely getting by on their salaries combined. They have three daughters to provide for.  Sometimes Miriam gets fearful, when the bills are over due and there is no money to cover them. Her husband is looking for a better paying job. Lord I ask that you wrap this family in your loving arms. I ask that you draw them close to you. I ask that you provide Miriam's husband with a good job with medical benefits and enough pay to provide for their needs financially. I ask that you keep this family in your loving care. Heavenly Father I lift up Rae and her family to you in prayer. Last week her parents and her daughter who had just arrived in town were murdered by her son. Rae was at the house, but left earlier. When Rae's son shot the first family member, Rae's Mom tried calling 911. The computer was on, and the line would not work. Grace, Rae's sister who lived with the parents ran to the neighbors, and when she returned, her Mom and dad were killed. Rae's son is only twenty-one years old, and has had previous felony convictions. Rae wanted him to live with her parents and in the end, his problems caused their deaths, and the death of his sister. His sister was five months pregnant she and the baby died. She left behind two children in Honolulu with their father. It took Grace several days to talk and eat. The boy was found and was arraigned. They said he has not said why he did it. He refused drug testing but the detective on duty that night said he was high. He did not say why he did it. What a terrible tragedy this is Lord for a family member to be responsible for the deaths of his grandparents and his sister, life's taken by his hand. Dear Lord my heart weeps for this family and the heartache that this has caused. Lord I ask that you hold this family in your arms of love. I ask that you give comfort to Rae, her sister Grace and the husband and children of Rae's daughter. I ask that you give comfort to all of the friends of this family. I ask that you draw each one close to you. I ask that you give them strength to get through this tragic time in their life's.  I ask that you convict the heart of Rae's son so strong that he will fall to his knees with remorse for what he has done. I ask that he be given a vivid picture of each life that he has taken and that he feel unbearable guilt. Guilt so strong that he will call out to you Lord and ask for your forgiveness. I ask that when he stands before a judge for this terrible crime that he receive just punishment. I pray Lord that the family will find it in their hearts to forgive this young man for what he has done. I pray Lord for this young mans salvation. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Heavenly Father I lift up Carol to you in prayer. Her feet have been so swollen that she can hardly walk on them. She is scheduled to see her doctor tomorrow March 5. Lord I thank you for placing sister Carol in my path. I ask that you wrap her in your arms of love. I ask that you draw her close to you. I ask that you remove the swelling from her feet. HI CHARLOTTE THANKS FOR WRITING ME. I WENT TO THE SPECIALIST TODAY...AND HE PULLED A HUGE VIAL OF FLUID FROM MY KNEE AND WASHED THE INSIDE OUT AND INJECTED CORTISONE INTO IT AND THEN INTO MY HIP. ALL PAIN IS GONE EXCEPT WHERE THE NEEDLES WERE INSERTED, A LITTLE SWELLING BUT NOTHING LIKE THEY THOUGHT IT WOULD BE. I HAD BURSITIS START IN THE HIP FIRST AND THEN IT JUST ESCALATED TO THIS, THE DR SAID WE WILL KNOW IN TWO WEEKS IF THE CARTILAGE IS TORN OR NOT, IF SO I IMAGINE HE WILL WANT TO DO SURGERY TO CORRECT. Heavenly Father I lift up Pam's grandmother to you in prayer. She was taken by ambulance to the hospital, they lost her along the way but you revived her Lord and I praise you. The doctors have told her family that they do not expect her to leave the hospital alive. Several spots were found on her lungs and she was having a difficult time breathing. She has a pace maker and the doctors feel that she has gone into congestive heart failure. Lord I ask that you wrap Pam's grandmother in your arms of love. I ask that you draw her close to you. I know there is a reason that you revived her. I ask that you open her lungs so she can breathe freely. I ask that you guide the medical staff as to treating her. I ask that you give comfort to her and remove any pain that she may be in. Heavenly Father I lift up Dean to you in prayer. He was on a sledding trip with the boy scouts when he smashed head-on into a tree. He was air-lifted to the University Of Chicago Hospital to the trauma unit. He has multiple facial and head injuries. He has a broken cheek, nose, jaw bones and a broken eye socket. One eye had to be put back into the socket, his lips had to be sewn on and his tongue stitched. His skull is cracked through, the plates separated. He has two blood clots and the potential for meningitis. Lord I ask that you wrap Dean in your arms of love. I ask that you draw him close to you. I know that his injuries are many but I know that all things are possible through you. I ask that you give comfort to him and remove any pain or discomfort that he may be in. I ask that you give the medical staff wisdom as to the proper treatments for Dean. I come before your Heavenly Throne and I ask that you heal Dean completely of all injuries. I ask that you restore each and every part of his body that has been injured. I ask that he suffer no complications and that he will be a testimony to the medical staff, to friends, family and strangers of your healing power and of the power of prayer. My mother is doing much better. Charlotte, thanks for asking about my Mom, she is doing as good as expected. She is weak and has no energy. With the type of cancer that she has the doctors say that she is doing fine. She has lung cancer, and we were advised in the beginning that it is terminal, but she has been hanging in there for the last two years.  She has undergone radiation and chemo. In the beginning she was wearing a size 18W now she is wearing a size 10 or 12. She has lost a lot of weight, and has no energy to do anything.  But by the grace of God, she is still hanging in there. The hardest part is to see her just deteriorate, it's hard for me, because she has always been a very active person. On the 10th of June, she will be 79 years old. Thanks for checking and continue to keep her and my family in your prayers, and I will pray for

Satan has come against them from every side and from within the unsaved family members too. They have physical, emotional, financial and mental turmoil all around them. Amy ( the daughter) and her husband Jerry are both saved, but very newly and not learned in Scripture. This family is being torn apart through devious family members who are not saved. Their financial status is not enough to allow them to move so they are at the mercy of manipulating relatives. Heavenly Father I lift up Anthony to you in pray. This precious child was born into the world on Saturday, February 24. He had a very traumatic birth and contracted a virus. He has been hooked up to IV's and placed on a heart monitor. The doctors have ordered a spinal tap to be done. Lord I ask that you wrap this precious child in your arms of love. I ask that you guide the hands of the doctor who will be doing the spinal tap. I ask that nothing serious been found. I ask that you cover him with your healing power from above. The bills are getting really behind and Sharyn is trying to sell her jewelry to get extra money to help with their finances. Sharyn has been preparing for a new ministry at Trinity Worship, called "Life Support Ministry" which was birthed in her spirit before Jerry lost his job. Life Support Ministry is to begin on March 6th. Lord I ask that you keep Jerry and Sharyn in your loving care. I ask that you provide for their financial needs. I ask that you place Jerry with a good job that has medical benefits and pay that will meet their needs. I ask that you draw both Sharyn and Jerry close to you. Dear prayer partners, I need your prayers. In short the ministry that the Lord has been birthing in me for at least a year is about to begin. The enemy has attempted to come in and destroy it. It is a ministry called "LIFE SUPPORT MINISTRY" a ministry of encouragement to hurting people. Since I talked with my pastor about it beginning next week, I have been struggling alone and need some help interceding. My husband lost his job 3 days after my pastor and I decided to move forward with the ministry. This was in January. He has not found a job yet. We lost all insurance and benefits. I have had multiple attacks on my health and need healing for my body. We are unable to afford doctor visits to figure out why my right side has hurt for 2 years. Since we have no insurance, we are trusting the Lord to provide what we absolutely must have. We are in our fifties, so just finding health insurance at an affordable rate has been difficult.  My father has been ill and is awaiting the tests results he had last week of a biopsy on his lung and brain. My friend I recognize all of this for what it is, but I also know that since I am a prayer warrior the enemy likes to attack those who are actually trying to do something for the Lord too. I know what he is attempting to do and that is to stop this ministry.  I will not let him stop me!!!! Please pray that next week when I talk to the congregation about it that I will have holy boldness and that the Lord will give me the right words to say to bring those who need to be in these support groups there and that he will grant me a double portion anointing for this ministry. Heavenly Father I lift up D. P. to you in prayer. Your word says that the prince of the power of the air roams around like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. He is working overtime in sister D.P.'s life. Your word says to rebuke the devil and he will flee from you. On behalf of this dear sister we stand together in unity and rebuke him to leave her. We ask that you draw her close to you. We ask that you give her strength to overcome the turmoil that he placed in her life. Lord you are her strength, her refuge, her hiding place. Dear Friends, Praise God, my friend Wes Denham has been released from the hospital and is back home now.  He is feeling much better and is able to breathe again.   I am still hoping that God will completely restore his lungs, but we will have to wait to see what God decides to do.  For now the immediate crisis is past and he can begin exercising and rehabbing once again.  I do thank all of you so much for your prayers and I do hope that many of you will continue to pray for his salvation.  I've told him that it's time we have a serious talk about God and he seemed receptive to the idea, so my hope is that God has him prepared to come to that place where he will see how real Jesus is.  Please pass this along to all those you asked for prayer, with my  heartfelt gratitude. Heavenly Father I lift up Katie to you in prayer. She is fifteen years old, handicapped and has been diagnosed with Cushings Syndrome. This is a very serious illness most often caused by a tumor on the brain stem or the pituitary gland. Katie has been through so much to be so young. Katie was born normal and became disabled from brain damage due to a high fever as a young child. Lord I ask that you wrap Katie in your arms of love. I ask that you draw her close to you. I ask that you give comfort to her. I come before your heavenly throne on behalf of this precious child and I ask that you give complete healing to her body. I ask that you comfort her mother Annie and draw her close to you. Annie is falling apart Lord both emotionally and physically. She has not been well herself, she has a cyst on her shoulder which the doctor tried to remove, unsuccessfully. He said that the cyst was to deep. Her main focus is on Katie and she's had to put her medical problems on hold for now. Lord I ask that you keep Annie in your loving care. I ask that you give healing to her body and I ask that you give her strength to get through this difficult time in her life. The cyst on her shoulder is to deep for the doctor to remove but nothing is impossible with you Lord. I ask that you remove the cyst from her shoulder. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

She is twenty-one years old and the main concern that Glenda has is that she and the baby's father are former drug users. Glenda is concerned that this may affect the baby. Lord I ask that you wrap this unborn child in your arms of love. I ask that you keep this baby safe within the mother's womb until the time of birth. I ask that this child be born strong and healthy in every way. I ask that you draw Glenda's daughter and her boyfriend close to you. Heavenly Father I lift up Lisa to you in prayer. Tuesday, February 20, she went to the doctor for a routine check up which included a test for tuberculosis. When she went back for the reading the test was positive! The doctor told her that she had came in contact with someone with the germ. She is scheduled for a chest X-Ray Monday, February 26, at 8:45 A.M. to determine if the TB is active in her lungs. Lord I ask that you wrap Lisa in your arms of love. I ask that the X-Ray Monday show no signs of this disease in her lungs. I ask that you cover her with your healing power from above. I ask for complete healing. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Heavenly Father I lift up Sharon to you in prayer. She and her husband are on the verge of a divorce. They are behind on the mortgage and she can't work because of having three herniated discs which cause her constant pain. She used to be the main bread winner. Instead of helping with the situation her husband spends most of his time going fishing. Lord I ask that you keep Sharon in your loving care. Your word says that you hate divorce, I ask that you intervene and place a desire in their hearts to save their marriage. I ask that you draw her and her husband close to you. I ask that you place a desire in his heart to seek a job that will help meet their financial needs. I ask that you provide a good paying job for him with medical benefits. If they have not accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior I pray for their salvation. I ask in the name of Jesus.

Heavenly Father I lift up Gaige to you in prayer. This precious child is only three years old. He is in critical condition in Salt Lake City University Hospital in the Burn ICU. His skin started to come off in chunks and he was admitted to the hospital. His was in so much pain that even morphine didn't help. By Friday of last week his condition became worse and he was flown out to SLC. His condition was critical when he got there, surgery was performed and they removed all of his skin. They have been doing radical antibiotic treatments since Saturday. He is about three times the size of what he was, he has no hair and his head is about the size of a pumpkin. He is covered with Bio Brain Skin that has been stapled to his torso and wrapped in plastic. He is on complete life support and will have to be in the Intensive Care Unit for a month or more and a long recovery time is expected. His condition is critical but stable. They thought they saw some new skin forming in his groin area and that is very encouraging news. Lord I ask that you wrap this precious little child in your arms of love. I ask that you remove any pain that he may be in. I ask that you give comfort to him. I ask that you restore his skin to normal. I ask that you give guidance to the doctors and all medical staff as to administering treatment for his condition. I ask that you cover him with your healing power from above. I ask for complete healing and restoration of his skin. Lord I pray that this precious child will be a witness of your healing power and to the power of prayer. Lord you are our great physician, the one we turn to ask for healing. Just as you removed the issue of blood from the woman and said to her "woman your faith has healed you" I also come before you in faith that you will heal Gaige. Heavenly Father I lift up Randy to you in prayer. He had to be hospitalized due to having suicidal tendencies. He is very confused and can't let go of the past. Lord I ask that you wrap Randy in your arms of love. I ask that you place a hedge of protection around him and keep him safe from doing any harm to himself. I ask that you remove all thoughts of suicide  and replace those thoughts with a desire to know you. I ask that you draw him close to you. Heavenly Father I lift up Patty to you in prayer. She is in a lot of pain due to problems with her back. She has no medical insurance and does not want to have to undergo surgery or the hardship of finances due to having no medical insurance that surgery would necessitate. I ask that you draw Patty close to you. I ask that you comfort her and remove any pain that she may be in. I ask that you give complete healing to her back. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Heavenly Father I lift up my mother to you in prayer. It's time for the replacement of her pacemaker again. She will be having this procedure done in Ohio, a five hour drive from her home state. The appointment will be scheduled soon. Lord I ask that you give her a safe trip there. I ask that you guide the surgeons hand as he does the replacement and bring her through safely with no complications. Thank you Lord for all that you have brought her through and with blessing her with eighty-nine years of life, ten children and over eighty grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grand children. Thank you for blessing me and my family with this wonderful loving mother. I ask in the precious name of Jesus. Amen.

Mom was released from the hospital this morning. She did very well. Praise the Lord! The doctor replaced her pace maker with a new one. She will be staying in Ohio for a week, please pray for a safe trip for her, my brother and his wife back to their home in W.Va. Thanks to everyone for lifting my Mom up to the Lord in prayer. Heavenly Father I lift up Joann to you in prayer. She has lupus and she is in pain a lot of the time due to this illness. She, her husband and her children used to attend church but haven't been in quite sometime. Her parents sold their home and are now regretting it and her mother has became so depressed that she has stopped attending church as well. They bought another home and she misses the old one terribly. Joann is trying to get her parents to sell and move close to her where she can look after them. They live approximately one and a half hours away from Joann at the present time. Lord I ask that you intervene and bring this family within a closer traveling distance to one another. I ask that you provide a home that they will feel happy in. I ask that you draw each one close to you. Lord I know that they are in the valley at this time, I ask that you bring them back to the mountain. I ask that you ignite the fire in them that once burned so brightly for you. I ask that you bring them together in close distance from one another and place them in a church where they will all attend together. I ask that you place them in a good church one that preaches the true gospel and also provides a Sunday school for Joann's children to learn. I ask that you remove any pain that Joann has caused from Lupus. I ask that you heal her of this disease. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Heavenly Father I lift up Mahesh to you in prayer. He is in need of a job and has been unable to find one as yet. He has applied for jobs he has found from searching the ads placed in the newspapers that meet up to his qualifications. He has also applied through the online job sites. All together he has filled out one hundred and fifty four applications and sent his email address to be notified for the job offerings found online. So far ten days have passed and he has had no response. Here is a man determined and pressing forward to finding a job. Lord I ask that you draw Mahesh close to you. I ask that you provide a good job with medical benefits for him. I ask that this job meet all of his financial needs in life. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Heavenly Father I lift up Becky to you in prayer. She has diabetes and this disease has caused problems with the circulation in her legs. She went to the doctor recently and he advised her on what to do in order for her legs to get better. That advice concerns the newsletter that she sends out to all of us. She will be needing help with getting the BSFC Gospel Newsletter done if it is to continue. She is in need of a mailer due to having so many members to send it out to. The newsletter requires her to sit for ten to twelve hours in order to get the material and put it all together. She also has to mail it out to at least 5,000 members on her list, plus see that prayer request are added as well. If she doesn't get help the newsletter will have to be put on hold due to her health. Lord I ask that you wrap Becky in your arms of love. I ask that you draw her close to you. I ask that you restore the circulation in her legs. I ask that you give complete healing where healing is needed for this and her other health problems as well. I ask that a way be provided for her to continue her newsletter. I ask that you provide for her needs and send faithful volunteers to help her. I ask that you place a hedge of protection around this ministry, that it will withstand the schemes of the evil one who is hard at work against it. The prince of the power of the air who is always lurking to see who he can devour. With so much filth filtrating the Internet our ministries are needed. I ask that you place a desire in her heart to have faith in you when she is going through hard times in her life. Heavenly Father I lift up Joshua to you in prayer. He has Beckers Muscular Dystrophy. This disease affects all of the muscles including the heart. The doctors say that he could end up in a wheel chair or this disease could cause his death. He has many obstacles to overcome, it takes all of his strength just to get up steps! Lord I ask that you wrap Joshua in your arms of love. I ask that you comfort him and remove any pain or discomfort that he may be having. I ask that you draw him close to you. I ask that you strengthen his muscles and keep his heart strong. I ask that you give comfort to his family and draw each one close to you. I ask that you give them strength to help Joshua with whatever need he may have. I ask that you heal Joshua of this debilitating disease that robs his muscles of their strength. I ASK THAT THE CANCER BE CONTAINED AND NOT SPREAD TO OTHER PARTS OF HER BODY. Heavenly Father I lift up Martina to you in prayer. Her mother died in April of 99, her brother in June of 2000 and her husband July of 2000. Her husband Robert suffered from Pancreatic Cancer. She misses her brother and her mother very much but Robert's death seems to be the hardest for her to cope with. When he was diagnosed she was with him. After the diagnosis he spent eight to ten hours in surgery, she was there waiting for him and the news of the outcome. The final outcome the tumor could not be removed because blood vessels were wrapped around it. If they attempted to remove the tumor, he would have died on the table. After surgery she stood by feeling helpless as the cancer progressed. No treatment would help him due to the fact that the tumor had spread everywhere. He just wasted away and became a skeleton due to starvation. He never once complained, the only thing he said to the doctor upon finding out that he had cancer was "WHY ME." Martina misses her husband and she is having a very hard time dealing with the loss. She dreams about him constantly, in the dreams, he is gone, but eventually he comes back, but she can never seem to get near him. When she awakes he is on her mind constantly. She is seeing her family doctor every week. His method of treatment is anti depressants, she is taking two types of this medication. Their son is fifteen years old and she feels as though he has not only lost his father but her as well. She has not been there for him like she used to be, yet he never complains. Her husband was so dear to her and some of the memories that she holds are those in which she remembers the many lives that he touched during his time here. Lord I ask that you wrap Martina in your arms of love. You who are all knowing, know the heavy load that she is carrying around with her everyday, the hurt, the pain that she feels from her husband's death. All that she went through watching him suffer and not being able to help him was devastating for her. Lord I ask that you draw her close to you. I ask that you give comfort to her and that you help her to let go. I ask that her memories of Robert remain fresh within her mind as to place a smile upon her face as she thinks lovingly of him. I ask that the time of his illness be removed from her mind and put to rest. I ask that you help her through this so she can be a mother to her son, to be there for him. I know he must be feeling a lot of emotions inside his heart as well. I ask that you give healing to her heart so she can get on with her life. I leave Martina in your loving care and I ask that you bring her through this difficult time in her life. I ask that you brush away each tear that falls and replace those tears with a smile as she remembers her love for him and his for her. I ask that you give comfort to Martina and her loved ones. Hello Charlotte, I hope that is okay that I call you by your first name, if not please let me know. Thank you so much for remembering and thinking about me. I am doing a lot better than the last time you had heard from me going on and on. I PRAY it is because SO many people are praying for me, including YOU. I am on two different kinds of depression medications B.I.D. which were supposed to take a while to start helping. I believe it is God answering my prayers and so many others, plus  making the medications work in my favor. I have to say I am at least 30% better than before. Hello Charlotte, Thank You for thinking of me, yesterday was the 1yr. anniversary of my husband Robert passing away. I had family to support me all of this past year, no matter how much they try, I ask Our Dear Lord to get us thru this most difficult time. I do Thank God I am blessed with the family I have, plus Robert's son & daughter from his previous marriage came and spent the day with me, that was a blessing in itself. My husband and I have a son together, John, who will be 16 thi coming Sept. and he had Bobby, 26, & Tiffany, 21. For some reason I had thought after their Dad had passed away that they would forget me, but they didn't. They come more now then they ever did, especially his daughter Tiffany, we have become so close, it's a blessing from God! I know that Robert was looking down & smiling yesterday when we were all together comforting one another. I could sure tell that they are their Dad's children because they have so many good qualities in them that my husband so often shared. I am still on depression medicine, which I hope I do not have to depend on it for very long. My heart still aches so much to have Robert with us, but I now know that is not going to happen and I have to start looking towards the future for my sake as well as for my son's sake. He still never talks about his Dad's passing, I bring it up to him and he just doesn't want to talk about it. He just finished his 1st yr. in High School and I have to say he did quite well with what he's had to deal with this past year, he is a lot stronger than I am. I still can't have a regular conversation that has anything to do with Robert, but I am getting there, one day at a time. Again, Thank You so much for thinking of me. Please keep in touch. The quakes are about 35 miles from them, centered in Big Bear which is located right below their location. Lord I ask that you place a hedge of protection around Bobbie, Jude, their grandchild and the other families who reside in California. I ask that you keep them safe. Her mother Ethe is very ill and has been in the Intensive Care Unit for the past two days. Linda is not sure if surgery will be done or not at this time. The family has been there with her around the clock for two days. Linda's brother is dying from lung cancer and her father is very ill also. Linda has lupus and her emotional state is not good at this time. Lord I ask that you wrap this family in your arms of love. I ask that you draw each one close to you. I ask that you heal Ethel. If healing is to come through the hands of a surgeon, I ask that you guide his hands and bring her through safely with no complications and completely healed. I ask that you give comfort to Linda's brother. I ask that you remove any pain that he may be having. I ask that you heal him Lord, that you remove the cancer from his lungs. If it is not your will to heal then I ask for mercy. I ask that you heal Linda's father from whatever is causing his illness. I ask that you give strength to Linda and take away any pain that she may be in. I ask that you remove the disease of lupus from her body completely. Charlotte, Thank you so much for your prayers and your always being there for so many. Mom is doing better they have found where the bleeding is coming from and are working on that now, hoping medication may take care of it, if not the surgery will have to be done. Still no word on my Dad's new test but he is pretty sick and trying to hide it now with Mom being so ill. I guess when he feels he wants to share everything with us he will, and with God's help we can all get through what is going on with him. No news about my Brother he is still fighting a good fight and says its just not his time yet. He has fooled them all this time, he is right when he says its not time or our Lord would have called him home. Thanks to everyone for all your prayers. Love, Linda

Hi my friend, I have been gone for about ten days. I got a call from my brother who asked me to come and see him as he didn't have much time left. I really didn't know what to do with both my parents ill also, but he needed me, so I prayed to our LORD and ask him to help me know what I should do. I then went on the PC and there were air lines with low fares, it wasn't there ten minutes before.  I went to the site and found a plane leaving the next day, this would have been a Thursday. I booked a seat and went to NY. I went to the VA Hospital and there was my brother with his things all together waiting for me. Everyone said he told them I would be there to take him home, (he didn't know I was coming on that day). I took him home and we had to days together before the LORD called him home. Just him and I for two days it was wonderful. He told me what he wanted done after he was gone and on Sunday his pain was unreal, nothing was helping him. I gave him his pain medication, rubbed his back and feet until he told me he wanted to go to sleep now and for me to go back to my hotel and rest. I did as he asked, before he was to be called home he still wanted to be my "HERO" and didn't want me to see him leave this earth. I did as he asked and told him I loved him and he told me he loved me too. When I went back to my room I prayed for the LORD to take him as I didn't want to see him in any more pain and he wanted to go home now. I cried many tears and after two hours I was going to go back over, I called him and there was no answer, I called again and no answer. I knew that he was gone. I called 911 and told them what was going on and asked them to meet me there. When I got there they had found him and he was gone, I wanted to much to be with him when he went home but he didn't want me to see that so that's why he made me go. We think just about the time I made it back to my hotel and prayed for him to go home is when he went. I stayed in a town full of wonderful people who helped me so much, I told them all they were my angels, everyone was wonderful to me, I didn't know a soul in this town so it was great having such nice people around me at this time. I miss my brother Ernie so much, but I know he is in a better place and has no more pain. I just wish he would have let me stay with him that day. Until the end he was still putting me first, what a wonderful man he was. My heart has a void that will never heal, but I know my brother Ernie would want me to go on and that's what I will do in time. I just feel so lost without him, and my heart hurts like it never has before. They says time heals all wounds and this may be true but the void will always be with me and I will miss him until we meet again. I had Ernie for two days until the pain was so bad that he couldn't even talk very well and I did all that he asked of me after he was gone. I had to stay about four more days to take care of what he wanted. My Mom is doing better as far as her health, my Dad is still very ill and this all hasn't help both of them with their illness. But they were so happy I was to be with Ernie and do all that he wanted me to do. I left Ernie's place at 4:30 and we found him at 6:30 and he had been gone for about two hours on March 4, 2001, my HERO went home. Please thank everyone for all of their prayers. Good morning! Charlotte, I'm sorry my friend that I worried you. : ( Sunday was very hard and all the feelings of the last few months came and took over my body. I was a mess, and all I could think of was to ask our Lord to help, and He did! I just needed to take some time and stay busy. It seems the hurt is not getting better, I'm so sad all the time. I try so hard not to be, but it just seems that I can't stop it. Charlotte I have to get myself together and I don't know how or what to do. I'm not the same person to my family and friends and it's starting to cause tension in my home, more so with my daughter and she has been so good to me, coming home to help me after my last surgery. I have to keep asking the Lord to help me, its just so hard. When I close my eyes I see Ernie on that last day, and how much pain he was in, I want to see the good times but I can't yet. I guess seeing my Mom and Dad and the pain they have also isn't helping, and I don't feel that I'm helping them as I should be right now. Well, my friend I better get some work done. Heavenly Father I lift up Shirley Martin to you in prayer. She has been diagnosed with colon cancer. The doctors are trying to decide the best treatment for her and they feel that chemotherapy treatments will be used. Shirley is sixty eight years old and she is very scared. Lord I ask that you wrap Shirley in your arms of love. I ask that you draw her close to you. I ask that you guide the doctors as to finding the best treatment for her. I ask that you give her comfort and remove any pain that she may be having. I ask that you remove her fear and replace it with peace. I ask that you remove all cancer from her colon. I ask for complete healing. If Shirley hasn't accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior I pray for her salvation. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Heavenly Father I lift up Eric and his sons to you in prayer. They were in a fire in which Eric's wife, their son, and a newborn daughter died. Eric and his two sons are in very bad shape in the local burn unit. Everyone had just gathered together and rejoiced the birth of their precious baby girl eight days ago. Her birth and death notice were placed in the newspaper on the same day. Lord I sit here before you so saddened by this tragedy. Dear Lord  I ask that you wrap Eric and his sons in your arms of love. The pain from their burns probably does not compare to the pain they are feeling in their hearts at this time. I ask that you comfort them and draw them close to you. I ask that you remove all pain from their bodies. I ask that you cover them with your healing power from above and  bring them through completely healed. Lord we as Christians know that Eric's wife, son and daughter are now with you where they live eternal. We know that Eric and his sons know this also but still they mourn. Lord I ask that you give them comfort and I ask that the memories of each one be forever fresh in their minds. One day they will all be together again with you where life will never end. Heavenly Father I lift up Dara to you in prayer. She is either thirteen or fourteen years old.  She was in an auto accident a while back. The injuries have caused a nerve disorder as a result from the damage done to her body.  She convulses continually, every thirty seconds or so. The Drs. say it is not epilepsy. The diagnosis is R.S.D.S. Dara screams in pain, her limbs have atrophied except for the areas that flail during series of seizures. When the seizures move, the atrophy moves to other parts of her body. It is hard to feed her, brush her teeth, dress her or for her to be without pain.  She cannot stand or sit alone.  A specialist in RSDS is located in Seattle. They are scheduled to meet with him Saturday, February 10. Her parents are suffering financially now, and there is no more sick leave left for them to take care of Dara. Lord I ask that you wrap Dara in your arms of love. I ask that you give comfort to her and draw her close to you.  I ask that you guide and direct the specialist caring for her. I come before your throne and ask that you cover her with your healing power from above. I pray that her healing will be a testimony to all who know of her illness of your healing power and the power of love and prayer. I ask that you give comfort to her parents and loved ones and draw each one close to you. I ask that provisions be made for help financially for her parents. I ask in the precious name of Jesus.

Heavenly Father I lift up Tina to you in prayer. After suffering from six months of pain in her abdomen she is finally able to see a doctor. She had no medical insurance and therefore was not able to seek medical attention. Dear Lord what a shame that we live in a country where we cannot get medical help because of no insurance. Your word says that we are to care for the sick and the poor. Lord I ask that you wrap Tina in your arms of love. I ask that you place her in the care of a good medical doctor, one who cares for the person more than for the money he will be paid for services. I ask that nothing serious be found. I ask that you draw her close to you. I ask that you keep her two small children in your loving care. I ask that you make provisions for this family financially. I ask for complete healing. Heavenly Father I lift up Joe to you in prayer. He has a lot of health problems that have slowed him down to the point of spending his days in the bed at rest. He has congestive heart failure and lung problems. His daughter said that he has a lot of swelling lately probably due to congestive heart failure. Lord I ask that you wrap Joe in your arms of love. I shall always remember his kindness to me when I was little. I shall always hold a special place for his family in my heart. Even though we are miles apart his daughter Joann and I still keep in touch. I ask that you give comfort to Joe and I ask that you remove the swelling from his body. Heavenly Father I lift up Ellen's husband to you in prayer. He is scheduled for gallbladder and hernia surgery Wednesday, February 7 at 8: AM. This past Tuesday he had to have surgery because he fell and cut his finger open. The nerves were severed and he has no feeling in it. Lord I ask that you wrap Ellen's husband in your arms of love. I ask that you guide the surgeons hands and bring him trough surgery with no complications and completely healed. I ask that you restore the feeling in his finger. I ask that you draw him close to you. I ask that you give comfort to his wife and draw her close to you. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Heavenly Father I lift up Josh to you in prayer. This precious little boy is only ten years old. About a year ago his mother took him to the doctor due to having pains in his legs. The doctor told her they were growing pains. Recently he got a lump in his throat, a second lump followed. After the second lump appeared his doctor sent him to Children's Hospital. There they ran a series of test and found tumors throughout the inside of his little body (legs, throat, lungs, stomach, etc.). The tumors are cancerous. Not only are they cancerous, but there are two different types of cancer which require two different types of treatment. Both treatments cannot be done at one time as the result would be death. The cancer is his leg will be treated first because it is already at stage four. Chemotherapy treatments will be done for twenty-one weeks to keep the cancer from spreading. After the twenty-one weeks they will proceed with chemotherapy on the other cancer and rotate back & forth. Josh is highly prone to infection so everyone around him must wear masks & scrubs. His mother is a single Mom (his dad died when he was a baby). He will be in Children's Hospital for therapy for the next year. He weighs less than 80 pounds. Lord I come before your throne in tears for this precious child. I cannot imagine having one chemo treatment let along having to have two types for one year. My sister an adult went through six months and the effects left her so weak and so nauseated. She had enough weight to sustain her, this precious child only weighs eighty pounds. I ask that you wrap Josh in your arms of love. I ask that you protect him from infection. I ask that you cover him with your healing power from above. I come before your heavenly throne and I ask for a miracle Lord, I ask that you remove all cancer from within his little body. I ask that Josh be a testimony for everyone to see the power of coming together in prayer and in love for this little child. I ask that you give comfort to his mother. I ask that you wrap her in your arms of love and draw her close to you. I leave Josh in your loving care. Lord your will, will be done in this child. If it is not your will to heal him I ask for mercy. I ask in the precious name of Jesus. Amen

Heavenly Father I lift up Stuart to you in prayer. This precious child is only four months old. He has fluid on the brain and had to have a tube inserted from ear to ear to relieve the pressure so the brain will grow. Lord I ask that you wrap this precious child in your arms of love. I come before your throne dear Lord and I ask that you cover baby Stuart with your healing power from above. I ask that you remove the fluid from his brain and heal him completely. I ask that you keep his loved ones in your loving care as they go through this difficult time. I ask that you draw each one close to you. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.  

Heavenly Father I lift up Stephen and his family to you in prayer. The parents were in a terrible car accident in which the stepfather was killed upon impact. The mother has been placed in the Intensive Care Unit. Lord I ask that you wrap Stephen and his family in your arms of love. I ask that you comfort them and give them strength to get through this terrible tragedy in their lives. I ask that you draw each one close to you. I ask that wrap the mother in your arms of love. I ask that you cover her with your healing power from above. I ask that you bring her through her injuries with no complications and completely healed. I ask that you comfort her as she mourns the death of her husband. I ask that you draw her close to you. I ask that you keep this family in your loving care as they give comfort to one another. I pray for salvation for whoever in this family has not accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Heavenly Father I lift up Darla to you in prayer.  Her heart is troubled from betrayal.  Her husband has been verbally and physically abusive to her for several years. She has left him and will be visiting family to try to get her thoughts together to decide what she should do. He is having an affair with someone who is very close to her. This is the same person who has helped her through so many hard times in her abusive relationship. This affair is hurting a lot of people in her family and the damage will be devastating. Lord I ask that you intervene with your help from above. I ask that you convict the heart of the person who is seeing her husband. I ask that you show this person the wrong of what she is doing. I ask you to show her the devastation that will be caused in this family if this affair continues. I ask that you open her eyes to see this man for what he is and the hurt that he has caused Darla. I ask that you break up this relationship before it causes hate. I ask that you draw Darla close to you. I ask that you walk beside her and help her through this. I ask that you comfort her and hold her in your arms of love. I ask that after this affair ends Darla will be able to forgive and move on with her life. I pray for the salvation of all involved who have not accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Heavenly Father I lift up Barbara to you in prayer. Lord I ask that you wrap her in your arms of love. I come before your throne never giving up on a miracle. You Lord who have given sight to the blind, voice to the mute, healed the lepers, opened the ears of the deaf to hear, drove demons out, and raised the dead, you Lord are our great physician. You Lord can give healing to our bodies even when death is near your healing power can revive us. I ask that you cover Barbara with your healing power from above. I ask that you heal her completely, I ask that you revive her. If it is not your will to heal her Lord then I ask for mercy. I ask that you wrap her parents in your arms of love and give comfort to them during this difficult time. I ask that you draw them close to you and surround them with your love. I pray that complete healing will come to Barbara's body and that she will be a testimony for all to see of your love and of the power of prayer. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Barbara is worse, hospice told us today she could go at any time. She knows what is going on but can't talk. we have called all our family in, they came today. They can't get over how strong I am holding up. but it is the Lord is giving me so much strength. Please keep on praying for me, Barbara and the family. God bless you Love, Yvonne
My Dear Friends In Christ, Barbara passed away Sunday, February 11, at 2:45 P.M. She went peaceful, she is in Heaven now with all of my family. I whispered in her ear yesterday that she was going to meet Jesus and he was waiting for her at the pearly gates, and he would be there to open the gates of Heaven to carry her through. I know she is already having a glad reunion day. Praise The Lord! Keep on praying for me, the Lord has given me a lot of strength, I'm holding up real good. Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ: Dear Christian Friends: I want to thank each and every one of you that prayed for my daughter Barbara that had brain cancer. I would like to call everyone by name, but there were so many of you that prayed. My beautiful daughter passed away Feb, 11th at 2:45 P.M., I was holding her hand and telling her that God was waiting for her at the pearly gates to greet her. I told her he will open the gates to take her through to meet all  of the angels  and all her family that was waiting for her. Praise The Lord! It has been a hard time for me as she was my only child, and I miss her terribly, we had such a good time together. If I had any problems with my computer, she would always come and fix it, and we would kid around a lot and laugh together on up to the end. I am having a hard time off and on, some days I would cry and scream myself to sleep. I went to my doctor yesterday and he wants me to see a doctor that helps when you have lost a loved one. He said if I don't I will have a nervous break down. I will probably go next month to give it a try. I have lost everyone in my family Mom, dad, sister, brother, and a sister two years ago (we were very close). I still haven't gotten over her yet, and now my only child. It is hard to lose anyone in your family, but when it comes to your only child, it is different. I am praying for the Lord to give me strength. All I can say now is that I have a broken heart but God is going to deliver me. God bless each and everyone for your love  and all your prayers. Heavenly Father I lift up June to you in prayer. She had to have carotid artery surgery recently due to having a 90% blockage. It has been three weeks since she had the surgery and she thought she would be feeling much better by now. Nothing keeps her down for long but this has really gotten her down both physically and mentally. Last week she had to have a clot which had formed removed and that set her back, as the doctor had to make another incision in order to get the clot out. She has no appetite and her energy level is very low. Lord I ask that you wrap June in your arms of love. I ask that you cover her with your healing power from above. I ask that you give strength to her body and restore her energy level. I ask that you draw her close to you. I ask for complete healing. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Heavenly Father I lift up Hilda to you in prayer. Praise to you Lord when she broke her hip at the age of 84 she miraculously healed faster than anyone the doctors had seen. She ended up going home and doing everything she did before breaking her hip. Now Lord I come before you again on behalf of Hilda. About two weeks ago she came down with a bronchial infection and seems to be just giving up. She doesn't like going to the doctor because she has no medical or prescription coverage. For her to be able to go she has to take from her grocery or utility money. I ask that you give comfort to Hilda and draw her close to you. Lord you are the great physician and no payment is required for your services. We live in a world where everything is about money, if you don't have money you can't get medical care or drugs that are needed for treatment when you are ill. In your word you say that we are to care for the sick and the needy of this world but I find that doesn't apply as it should. Doctors will turn you away if you don't have the money for their services. I ask that you cover Hilda with your healing power from above. I ask that you give strength to her and heal her completely. I ask that you make provisions for her to receive the medical care that she needs in times of illness. I ask that you wrap her in your arms of love. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

God is so good. Hilda has gone home and is doing fine now. She thinks she almost died, and so do I. I know the power of prayer, and I know that you folks are good Prayer Warriors. Heavenly Father I lift up Savannah to you in prayer. This precious child was born last fall with only one leg. She also has a tumor that has proven to be cancerous. She has been going through chemotherapy treatments for months. Her doctors have referred her to Duke University. The doctors there have determined that they can perform surgery and remove the tumor. Her parents as well as other family members will be going to the University this weekend. Surgery is scheduled for Monday, February 5 to remove the tumor. The last test results at the University showed that the tumor had not grown since she stopped chemotherapy which was about six weeks ago. Test also showed that the cancer wasn't found anywhere else. Right now her weight stands at thirteen pounds which is good. Lord I ask that you wrap this precious child in your arms of love. I ask that you give wisdom to all the doctors and medical staff caring for Savannah. I ask that you guide the surgeons hands and bring Savannah through with no complications and completely healed. I ask that you give her strength and a speedy recovery. I ask that you give comfort to her parents and loved ones during this difficult time. (: Thank You Lord Jesus!!! And thank you "all" who have faithfully petitioned with prayer for this beautiful child . .Donna. Trudy just called. Got the tumor out in one surgery. Able to save her leg. Did not have to do anything to ovaries or pelvic area. Had to take a little tip of spine, but not big deal. Temporary colostomy. All her other organs are fine. She looks great. Praising God.

Savannah is at Duke University and had her colostomy removed yesterday. They will probably be there until Sunday. Pray for a quick recovery for our baby and for comfort for her during the healing process. Also for strength, love and patience for Wendy and Scott in dealing with the staff at Duke and just the situation in general. God has been so very faithful to them and our entire family. We are humbled and grateful to all who have taken time to pray for us all during this time and how we've seen first hand God's mighty work in our precious Savannah! Update 8/19/01
Hello once again prayer warriors. This is a very special prayer request. (Although all requests are special) Just about a year ago, we sent a prayer request out all over the world for SAVANNAH DUKE. She was around a couple of months old. Savannah was born with only a right leg. She lost the left leg due to a large tumor that stopped the leg from developing. After she was borne, the doctors told the family that the tumor was malignant. To sum it up, Savannah went to surgery and they took the tumor out and it wasn't malignant. A MIRACLE FROM GOD!  Most of you had a BIG PART in that miracle. Prayers went out all over the world. God honored those prayers. She ended up called "The Little Angel" all over the world. That she is. Now, I've said all of that to say this. Savannah NEEDS your prayers again. The letter below is from her dad. He & Wendy are seeking your prayers.  This is Savannah's grand parents. When Savannah goes for the MRI, I will ask them to give her parents all of the replies for them to read. WOW! What a blessing and a comfort. that will be. Thank you so much Ralph4God   Dear Friends,  Savannah is doing great, growing like a weed, and running us ragged.  This is why the news we received tonight is especially discouraging. We went to Duke a month ago for an MRI and for a visit with her doctors. They did not have time to read the MRI, which we had done here in Greenville, but said she looked great, and at first glance, the scans did too.  A week later, the head
surgeon called us back with news that there was some of the tumor left. This news alone was not too terribly surprising as he had said after the surgery there was a possibility that they were unable to get it all.  The difficulty lies in its location.  It is deep inside of her pelvis, but as tests would show, benign at the present time.  It is still the same tumor she was born with, so its growth eventually to turn to malignancy is almost a given.  The residual damage that was miraculously avoided during the first surgery (bowel/bladder damage, hysterectomy, etc.) would be of much greater concern with the second surgery. Doctor Rice told us he would talk with his colleagues and other specialists around the country and give us a call in a week or so. His nurse called Wendy yesterday and told her we had an appointment for another MRI and visit September 17th and 18th, two months sooner than originally planned.  Wendy asked why, but the nurse didn't know.  Doctor Rice then called us tonight, he said that as a collective decision, they were probably going to have to gone in and take the rest of the tumor out.  In doing so, they will probably have to do a hemi-pelvectomy, which means removing the left side of her pelvis, and also remove what they were able to save of her left leg during the first surgery. Once we find out after the 2nd MRI, if the tumor is growing, we will know how quickly they will need to perform the surgery.  Doctor Rice has offered, even recommended that we get a second opinion.  He mentioned Cincinnati, Philadelphia, and New York.  This will not take place until after our visit to Duke next month. Until then, there probably won't be any news, and it will be business as usual, if that's possible.  We simply must not take any time for granted. Much has been said about our "strength" during this whole ordeal.  Many have told me they admired Wendy and me for the way we have handled things.  Let me be honest with you. We've done nothing of our own accord.  I take that back.  On the days when I felt like all hope was lost, I realized I was also trying to do everything myself.  Our "strength" has not been our own but of God.  Neither Wendy nor I have what it takes to have gone through what we have the last year. I give God the credit for us simply being able to get by day to day, much less us overcoming what we have faced. Now, as we begin what is sure to be a bumpy ride for the next little while, we ask for your help.  It was your prayer and support that helped us the first time, and we will require even more now.  When we went to Duke last month, they had to take blood, and the nurse had difficulty finding a vein.  She dug around in her arm for a minute and a half or so. I was holding Savannah, and she was screaming with tears rolling down her face. She was looking at me as if to say, "Daddy, please help me."  My love for her grows daily, so it's not out of line to say I love her more now than I did in February. This time around is going to be much more difficult than the first one.  We will let you know more as we find out more.  Until then, just look at this beautiful baby girl (of course, I'm not biased), and please

Heavenly Father I lift up Sharyn and her husband to you in prayer. Her husband lost his job this week. They are both fifty years old and now they are left with no medical insurance benefits. Today was his last day of work. Sharyn doesn't work so they have no income. As soon as her husband is eligible he will apply for unemployment benefits. Lord I ask that you keep Sharyn and her husband in your loving care. I ask that you make provisions for them to receive benefits soon. I ask that you place a good paying job in the path of her husband with good medical benefits. I ask that you draw them both close to you during this difficult time. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Heavenly Father I lift up Mattie's husband to you in prayer. He is seventy-eight years old. He just got out of the hospital recently after six days there. He has been having pancreas problems for the past three years. It flares up at least once a year. There was a doctor on duty during his hospital stay who ran a lot of test on him, some spots were found on his liver. He is scheduled to have an MRI on Monday, February 5. Lord I ask that you wrap Mattie and her husband in your arms of love. This is a difficult time for both of them. I ask that you give them comfort and remove any fear that they may have and replace it with peace and faith. I ask that nothing serious be found on the MRI. I ask that you give Mattie strength to care for her husband, at her age and with her medical problems I know that it is not easy for her. I ask that you remove the disease of arthritis from her body so she can move freely with no joint pain. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Heavenly Father I lift up Dolores and her husband to you in prayer. They have 
taken upon themselves a major project of renovating Dolores's mother's rental  which by her love and your grace she is allowing them to live in rent free. They had no idea just how costly this would become. Their funds are getting  low and there is still more work that needs to be done. Lord I ask you  intervene and get their investment check sent to them as soon as possible so they can pay their insurance and help out Dolores's mother financially where  needed. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Heavenly Father I lift up Sharon to you in prayer. She was arrested last week  for protecting her child. She is not in jail now, but may have to serve as much as six months jail time if the courts see it the way of the accusers. Lord I don't know the circumstances in this case but you know Lord. I ask  that you keep Sharon in your loving care. I ask that when her court case  comes up that truth will prevail. I ask that you draw Sharon close to you. I  ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Heavenly Father I lift up the mother-in-law and father-en-law of Dolores to  you in prayer. Marsha has rheumatoid arthritis which causes her a lot of  pain. Jimly has lupus and is having major complications. Lord I ask that you  wrap Marsha and Jimly in your arms of love. I ask that you remove the pain  that Marsha is having a s a result of the arthritis she has. I ask that you  remove this disease from her and heal her completely. I ask that you wrap  Jimly in your arms of love. I ask that you remove any pain that he is having  due to lupus. I ask that you remove this disease from his body and heal him  completely. GREETINGS FROM EARTH QUAKE INDIA.
We are in fear and worry that what will happen to us in future. The earth  quake belt is extended up to our place. Today's quake swallowed so many  thousands in Gujarath, Pooji. This is a natural disaster. Even if one fears  quakes, one has to face it. We are a rescue team with students and youth  rushing to Gujarath tomorrow. We are planning to distribute food and water  to children and aged people for a few days. We have been monitoring  earthquakes for a long time. Actually last week Khavda a border town of Kutch, experienced tremors that measured 3.0 and 4.0 on the Richter Scale. We were aware of the movements beneath the fault zone of the  Kutch. These activities continue under the surface of earth. But we can't say  anything before it jolts us with tremors of higher magnitude. This is a  natural phenomenon and unpredictable. This time according to our estimates,  it was 7.0 on the Richter scale and rocked the total area of western India.  Electricity and phone lines have collapsed. The Rapid Action Force has been  called out in Ahmedabad, even as Friday morning's earthquake claimed 194  lives in the city. Elsewhere in the state too, the body count has been  mounting steadily. In Bhuj, near the quake's epicenter, 150 people have been  killed in the earthquake, and official sources fear that this toll could  shoot up. Other parts of Gujarat that have reported loss of lives are  Surendranagar, Surat Patan and Navsari. In Ahmedabad City the Shardaben hospital has  reported 520 deaths, the civil hospital has reported 51 deaths, LG hospital  27, VS hospital 47, and Jivraj Mehta, 10 deaths. Many high-rises have  collapsed in Ahmedabad City, the worst of them being the ten story Shikhar  building. The worst damage is feared in Ranip area of the city. At least 30  buildings are feared to have collapsed. In fact, so bad is the situation in  the city, that Lakshmi hospital has run out of space and has taken to  treating patients on the road outside. The Morbi engineering college has  crashed, and many students are feared trapped in the debris. It is feared  some 100 students of the Swami Narayan school at Mani Nagar in Ahmedabad are  trapped under the debris of the school-building. Dispatches from Gujarat: 'We  saw death. According to Sheth, some 80 PC of the buildings in his village, which has a  population of 4000 have collapsed and at least 250 people have been severely  injured. They have been taken to hospital in Morbi, some 35 km away, a talk  headquarters." Our village is a small one. Most of us are farmers, simple  people, and unfailingly we attend the Republic Day function. That was what  saved our lives today, all our children are safe because they were in the  open meridian for the flag-hoisting ceremony." Sheth himself was at home in  the morning when he felt the earth move beneath his feet. "I was shocked. I rushed to the road. When I looked back,  my home was still shaking. Out of sheer fright I fell down, and couldn't  understand what was wrong with me. Like a child I crawled on to the road.  After five minutes I got up and ran out of the village. On the road there  were many others like him. I saw all my neighbors running away. We were not  just nervous, we were frightened. Ame to Mrityu Joyu (we saw death). My  brother saw some three, four persons dead on the way. We are still scared. We have called from far away but the government is  not around to ask about our welfare. People are hiring tempos to ferry the  injured. In my village alone five people have died. Falguni Sheth, Our  village has been reduced to dust (dhulman mali gayu).I was having breakfast  when I got up to drink water, and I felt the tremors. I don't know how to  convince you about what we went through. Everywhere around me the destruction is total. "When the earthquake started I  took my grandmother out of the house. We could not see a thing because the  air was full of dust. Houses were collapsing, and at one time it was so dark.  I looked I could not see my ba (mother) and grandmother for a few minutes, it  was so scary. At present we are sitting in this compound, with just a  telephone instrument, since our relatives are calling us up from Bombay. We  returned here to talk to them. All the buildings around us are broken,  demolished or damaged beyond repair." SO KINDLY HELP IN THIS TIME OF TRAGEDY. PAUL & FLORA.

Heavenly Father I lift up the people of India to you in prayer. The recent  earthquake there has caused many deaths and injuries. I ask that you hold each one who has lost loved one in your arms of love. I ask that you comfort  them Lord and draw each one close to you. I ask that you wrap each child or  adult in your arms of love who have been injured. I ask that you heal them  Lord and bring them through this. Where healing is not your will I ask for  mercy. I ask that you give comfort to the people I ask that you send  Christians to share the good news of Christ with the people there. I ask for  an outpouring of your Holy Spirit to fill the land of India. I pray that many will come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. I ask that help be provided  there. Heavenly Father I lift up Jim to you in prayer. He is in the hospital on life support. He suffers terrible side affects of diabetes He is a young man with young children. Lord I ask that you wrap Jim in your arms of love. I come before your throne in faith trusting in miracles. I never give up on asking that you heal. I ask Lord that you cover Jim with your healing power from above. I ask that you bring him through completely healed. If it is not your will to heal him I ask for mercy. Heavenly Father I lift up my niece Ann to you in prayer. She is scheduled for surgery tomorrow to have the tubes for dialysis removed from her chest to her groin area. They have to be removed due to infection. I thank you that her blood pressure is now stabilized. Lord I ask that you wrap Ann in your arms of love. I ask that you guide the surgeons hands and bring her through safely with no complications. I ask that a kidney be found as she is in need of a transplant. I ask that you draw her close to you. I ask that you comfort her. I ask in name of Jesus. Amen.

Ann had surgery the Lord brought her safely through. They could only replace the tube that came out of her chest. The infection is to bad to move them to the groin area at this time. She is on antibiotics and will remain on them until the infection clears completely. After the infection has cleared they will proceed with surgery to place tubes in the groin area. Ann is not doing very well. Her arm is swollen and red, the doctor suspects that she has a blood clot. They will be running test on her today. Please continue in prayer for her. Ann is thirty-three years old and developed diabetes at a very young age. The past few years she has been in and out of the hospital, one problem after the other. God has always seen her through. Anne has been in the hospital for a month now. They finally placed the stint in her legs for dialysis. She was running a fever yesterday and they feel that infection has set in. Her blood sugar was over 500 and they had to administer treatment to bring it down. The doctor said the reason it got so high was due to infection and stress. Please keep Anne in prayer. Heavenly Father I lift up Lyle to you in prayer. A lump was found in his left breast and will have to be checked out. He is scheduled to see the surgeon on February 14. Lyle is the husband of my cousin Vista. Lord I ask that you keep him in your loving care. I ask that nothing serious be found. If healing is to come through a surgeon I ask that you guide his hands and bring Lyle through with no complications and completely healed. Heavenly Father I lift up my cousin Jennifer to you in prayer. She had a bad pap smear and recently got a letter in the mail about her mammogram. They want to do a cone compression on her left breast and see her again in six weeks for her right breast. Lord I ask that you wrap Jennifer in your arms of love. Right now she is very scared. Breast cancer runs in our family and her mother had a long bout with it before she left this world to be with you. I ask that no cancer be found in her breast or her female organs. If surgery is needed for healing I ask that you guide the surgeons hands and bring her through with no complications and completely healed. I ask that you draw Jennifer close to you. Update on Jennifer, they called her in for more pictures of the area they wanted to do a biopsy on, and guess what?   No surprise thank God they did not find anything. Heavenly Father I lift up Jesse to you in prayer. He is ten years old and he is having a hard time dealing with his parents divorce. He has became a very angry young man with a short fuse. He is getting in trouble in school for displaying bouts of anger. He is holding a lot of hurt inside. Lord I ask that you wrap Jesse in your arms of love. I ask that you give him comfort. I ask that you remove the anger that he has inside and replace that anger with love. I ask that you place him with a counselor who will be able to help him. Heavenly Father I lift up Linda, her brother and her dad to you in prayer. They are really going through hard time right now. Linda has been very ill for the past few weeks due to lupus. She is not sleeping well at night due to all of the stress and the pain from lupus. She is having a hard time dealing with her brother's illness, he has lung cancer. Seeing him suffer has been very stressful for her. Linda's dad is bleeding somewhere inside and they are waiting for test to come back to find out the cause. Lord I ask that you keep Linda and her family in your loving care. I ask that you wrap each one in your arms of love. I ask that you give comfort to Linda. I ask that you draw her close to you. I ask that you remove any pain that she may be having. I ask that you give her rest at night from all the problems that are surrounding her. I ask that you give comfort to her brother. I ask that you draw him close to you. I ask that you remove any pain and discomfort that he is in. I ask that you open his lungs so he can breathe freely. I ask that you heal him Lord and if it is not your will to heal him then I ask for mercy. I ask that the results of Linda's dad's test show where the bleeding is coming from. Heavenly Father I lift up Leslie to you in prayer. Leslie is in the Critical Care Unit. He had surgery and an aneurysm the size of a cantaloupe was found. They also found that both of his legs have  blocked arteries. Lord I ask that you wrap Leslie in your arms of love. I ask that you give him comfort from any pain that he may be having. I ask that you draw him close to you. I ask that you heal the arteries in his legs. I ask that you bring him through completely healed. I ask for a speedy recovery. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Charlotte, Its amazing what praising and prayer can do. If you recall Linda had her Dr. appointment today January 26 regarding her foot. She made out extremely well! The doctor said the foot has healed beyond the point where she expected it to be. In addition she stated that she may even be able to start wearing a shoe again in a couple of weeks if the healing continues at this pace. Thanks you and the prayer group for all the intercession. Charlotte, Just a quick note to say THANK YOU and PRAISE THE LORD!! Linda got the OK from the Dr. today to finally wear her shoe on the right foot. She said "Boy does it feel funny. It's almost like learning to walk again." The Dr. wants to see her again in 2 weeks but I am to monitor her entire foot daily to see if there are any signs of a new developing ulcer. If there are none at the time of the next visit Linda will be on her own. I needed to share this answered prayer with you since you and the group have been excellent in upholding us in prayer over the past several months. We really appreciate it. In addition, you will never know the problems a caregiver faces unless you are one. The knowledge that your prayers were behind me also helped keep me going. In short, she passed from this earth into eternity this morning about 9:00. Her complications due to sugar was not the problem. Linda passed away from a pulmonary embolism (blood clot that settled in the lungs). Her passing was quick and with no pain. I was there and CPR did not work. Charlotte, Just a quick note as I have so busy I don't quite know which way I am going.  I am back to work full time now even though my concentration and attention levels are not the same. I have tried to send out the "Thank You" notes and pay bills and have made some headway. The hard part is cooking. While the Sunday School group of our church has me covered 2-3 times a week with meals thru Easter I still need to figure out how to bake and cook on the inside oven/stove. The outdoor grill is easy to master in comparison with this stove. To admit it I'm still scared!! The Lord has been great however, and I am making it through each day since Linda's passing. While He has closed a number of ministry doors on me recently for doing His work He is opening numerous other ones. Since her passing I find I am much more bolder in presenting His gospel and asking the question" Are you ready to go home?" If not why not? I have also been able to share a number of different things that I put down on paper the night after the funeral. I shared these items with a group of men at a recent men's retreat from our local church and from this I have received a number of requests to share this testimony to other classes and possibly even on a local television program. Please pray for me here as the Lord can really use this for His honor. When I have the chance in the next few days I will share these same things with you and Ginny and even Chick. Perhaps it can be used on the Internet. As you can see, God is using me more than before but I need to listen to His voice in the silence of my empty home. I rejoice in knowing I will see Linda again but the human pain and agony at times is only relieved by the faith I have in the Lord. As I said I will write more later but continue to pray for me since I am in need of it. I can feel its power in getting me through each day. Also I am sorry for not writing sooner but I was down. Charlotte, Things are going relatively good. By that I mean spiritually and mentally. Physically, I am having a hard time sleeping lately because I am too tired I think. As you know, I have the tendency to push myself to the extreme limit and then think about sleep. I believe this is my problem right now and I am trying to slow down. I am even trying to quit working on a project when I start feeling tired rather than completing it all in a days time. As you know, either that project or another one will be there tomorrow. Also I am a firm believer in what you said as far as God revealing himself and his desires soon. Why? because as you know I prayed the Prayer of Jabez and God has definitely enlarged my territory. In the fall I will be launching new ministry at Calvary regarding the grieving process from a Christian perspective. The only problem with this is that I can only provide the male perspective. So I have prayed that God would lead me to a Godly woman who has also lost a spouse and whom also may be able to contribute to this program. I believe He will do this for me in His time. Then who knows where He will lead. In addition to this ministry I have also talked to several groups and Sunday School classes regarding Death and Marriage. In this talk I let my guard down a little and share my life testimony and the things I miss about my wife. This is so that these couples can appreciate each other more. In the end, I have received several Thank You notes regarding the new focus I have given them regarding their marriages. If you know of a group that needs a speaker and if God leads----I would be more than willing to address them regarding something of this nature. I have also appeared last week and this week with Terry Faulk and Jerry DePoy (local pastors) and "the Voice of Fundamentalism". The local TV program on channel 40. The topic evolved again around death and marriage and the appreciation of your mate. Several good comments were also made. This weeks segment will air at 8.30 on Channel 7 cable tonight and again at 12.30 on Sunday.  Tonight I have a team meeting regarding  a DeColores (Cursillo) week end that I will be working. Please be with me in prayer for this week end since the person in charge  has asked me to not only give the Piety talk (the main talk of the week end) but also to do the chapel visit following. A great and awesome responsibility!! I remember Paul saying in Philippians---He who began a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. So be with me that His will be done in this talk. As you can see Charlotte, I have no problem keeping busy ------ physically or spiritually. GOD is Working!!!! God Bless!!

    Thanks for the message. I am up and around for short times. Still have lots of drainage from the wound and it is a messy business. I see the doctor again on Monday and will know more then. For some reason, the incision is not closing up all the way . most of the way . . . but not all of it. At least the fever is down and the blood clot is no longer a worry. Heavenly Father I lift up Rachel to you in prayer. Rachel is in the hospital. I do not know the full details of her situation. Pus pockets are forming in different areas of her body. Her fever and blood pressure are stabilized. Her heart rate remains too high. Lord I ask that you keep Rachel in your loving care. 1/26 Update
Rachel's dad updated me on her condition. He told me there are a few little steps forward and no steps backward at this time. They may take her off the ventilator today if all goes well. They have taken her off some medication and are allowing her to wake up a little. She's frightened and has no idea how long she's been out of it. Removal of some of the medication allows her to be alert sometimes and they are trying to get her to breathe deeper so they can remove the ventilator. They have also put in a feeding tube, probably the first step in giving her some real food. She still has a fever and they are culturing the various "sites" (don't know what he meant by that unless it's the sites where they have drainage tubes and various other invasions). They have drained 2 more pus pockets and it seems that according to a scan they did, her body must have taken care of 2 other pockets. Absorbed them maybe? The scan did show another 2" pocket and they have to determine what to do about that one. The steps are very slow, but it's something positive. Loraine got a blessing report. She went to the doctor Monday, February 5. The cardiologist found nothing wrong with her heart. Praise God! God answered all our prayers going up for her. The doctors don't know what effects this will have on the baby. They cannot safely take the baby for at least three more weeks. The largest tumor, the size of a grapefruit is located at the top of the baby's head.  Lord I ask that you wrap Paula and her unborn child in your arms of love. I ask that there be no complications to either Paula or her child as a result of chemotherapy. I ask that you place a hedge of protection around both mother and child. Charlotte, Paula is home. They tried to start the chemotherapy treatments on her. They gave her two treatments and had to quit. She's not doing well at all but we are all still praying and believing God for a miracle. Paula is really in bad condition and the unborn baby will not grow and develop well if she doesn't get better.   The doctors don't know what to do at the present time.Thank you........Please continue to pray for Paula & her baby girl.   Peggy

Subject: Paula & Baby They took Paula's baby today, February 13. A little girl and she weighed 3 lb. 9 ozs.  She may be in the hospital for another three weeks, so far no complications. They are sending the placenta on to Memphis to the Children's hospital for testing to see if  any of the cancer could be in the little one. They also found three more places the cancer had spead to in Paula.. the colon, the spleen, and the upper uterus. They seem to think the cancers are shrinking but are going to give her stronger chemo now that she is not carrying the baby. Please continue in prayer for both Paula and little Kayla Lee (baby's name).  Keep Paula's mother Alice in prayer  Of course it has shaken her knowing the cancer has spread but she is believing God to take care and heal Paula.   Peg

Paula has had so much pain that they put her back in the hospital last week. They did another scan and found she had eight more large knots on the spine. 
She is in terrible pain..they operated and took two of them out. They were going to fly her to California to a Melanoma specialist but she has gotten so bad they cannot move her.  Please pray for mercy for this child....... Peg

5/9 Update
Paula was sent home about two weeks back from California. I lose track since I am dealing with my husband having cancer also. They found two more lesions on the brain and had to stop the Chemo. They said it would cause her brain to swell and it would killed her. She is now going to Birmingham, Alabama to take radiation in hopes that it will stop the cancer from spreading in the brain. She is in a brace due to the back surgery and it's very uncomfortable but they did put a lighter one on her this week.  Her baby had to have a hernia repair this week. So far the little one is doing just fine.  If the Radiation does not get hold of the cancer there is nothing man can do.  It's totally in God's hands.  Take care, Peg

Heavenly father I lift up Haley to you in prayer. She saw a doctor on Monday and blood tests revealed a condition called "Preclampsia." It means that the baby is poisoning Haley, which may result in the shutting down of Haley's kidneys and other organs. Haley is in the hospital and where she is being monitored and medicated, the situation is under control. She is 24 weeks into this, they want to give the baby as much time as they can before it is necessary to deliver surgically. Lord I ask that you wrap Haley and her baby in your arms of love. I ask that you remove the poison that is entering into Haley's body as a result of Preclampsia. I ask that you place a hedge of protection around both mother and child. I ask that the baby be born healthy with no complications. I ask that Haley be healed completely. I ask that you draw her close to you. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Hi Charlotte! Sorry I haven't written you sooner. Haley is doing so good. She is gaining weight and growing like crazy. We are so thankful. Heavenly Father I lift up Brittany and her dad Mike to you in prayer. Both were burned as a result of a house fire. Brittany is only eleven years old and she has burns on over seventy percent of her body. She has been transferred to a children's burn unit in Texas. Both of her legs have been amputated. She has been on a ventilator since she was admitted. The doctors have estimated that Brittany will be in the hospital at least 15-18 months. Mike was also burned badly and is not expected to live. His wife is staying in Galveston with Brittany. Lord I ask that you wrap Brittany and Mike in your arms of love. I ask that you bring them through this. I ask that you remove any pain that they are having. I ask that you heal them completely. I ask that you give comfort to Brittany's Mom during this difficult time. My heart goes out to Mike and Brittany, I cannot imagine all the pain that they have endured through this. I cannot imagine all the pain that this loving wife and mother has in her heart in seeing her husband and her precious little girl in this state. Lord I ask that you keep them in your loving care, I leave them with you. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Heavenly Father I lift up Kathy's dad to you in prayer. One entire side of his heart is dead. The cardiologist told his wife that he could have a major heart attack at any time. He is seventy-one years old. Two years ago they said that he would only live for about six more weeks, Thank You Lord he is still here. Lord I ask that you wrap Kathy's dad in your arms of love. I ask that you draw him close to you. I ask that you give him comfort and strength. I ask that you keep his heart strong Lord. I ask for complete healing. I ask that you give comfort to Kathy and his loved ones and draw each one close to you. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Heavenly Father I lift up Ron to you in prayer. He has to go for a court hearing today. I don't know the charges but Lord you know all that Ron has done in his life. Lord I ask that you walk beside Ron today. I ask that you decide the outcome of his situation. Whatever he has done I pray that he has learned from his mistakes and that he will grow close to you. I ask that you place a desire in his heart to learn your word and to walk in your ways. I ask that you give comfort to his mother Ginny as this situation has caused a lot of hurt for her. She is a mother who loves her son and when he does wrong her heart aches and feels convicted for the wrong that he has done. Lord I pray that this loving mother will see a change in her son. Good morning Charlotte, Ron has to spend thirty days in house arrest and pay a fine. He has been working, his parents pick him up every day for work and they pick him up after work and take him to the house that he has to stay at overnight. It's really put a hardship on them but with God's help they will be OK. We pray every night that God will keep Ron from harm and that he has learned to call on God for what he needs. It's so nice of you to keep him in your thoughts and I appreciate all of the prayers and I know my sister does too. I thank you and everyone who prayed for Ron, my sister and her husband. Heavenly Father I lift up Beth and her husband to you in prayer. They have a desire to reach out to the homeless people in this world. The desire of their heart would be a real blessing as the homeless need to be fed and cared for. Lord I ask that you make provisions for this to happen. Heavenly Father I lift up my sister Dorothy to you in prayer. The past six months have not been easy for her. Due to having cervical cancer she has had to endure the side effects of chemotherapy. Through it all her faith has remained strong. Soon she will be having her last treatment and a cat scan will follow. The cat scan will tell if any cancer is left. I thank you for giving me her for a sister, I love her so much. Lord I ask that you wrap Dorothy in your arms of love. I ask that you draw her close to you. I spoke with my sister Dorothy the other day, she is feeling very weak. I am assuming the cause to be from the effects of the chemotherapy. Dorothy went to see her doctor Saturday. She had six tubes of blood taken. A chest x-ray was taken and the doctor found some abnormality in the pelvic area. She has to wait until the test results are in before he can determine if more chemo is needed or not. She is feeling weak and tired. Please continue in prayer for her. Her faith remains strong. Heavenly Father I lift up Dickie Bowles to you in prayer. Due to having cancer he had to have his lung removed. The cancer has spread to his brain. I thank you for his salvation. I spoke with Dickie's wife Bonnie the other day and she said that he is not doing well. He has been seeing the doctors at Duke University. He has gotten three different opinions one of which the doctor said that he has maybe three more months. Bonnie has not told this to Dickie only she and her sons know. They are taking this news very hard. She said that Dickie has told her if and when it's his time he is ready. Bonnie shared with me that she has manic-depressive disorder and when Dickie had his lung removed last year she suffered a nervous breakdown. she also said that Debbie, Dickie's sister is not speaking with him even in knowing that he is very ill. This stems from a result of a family dispute. Please keep Dickie and the family in prayer. Please pray that the Lord will open Debbie's heart and place a desire there to see her brother and that they come together in love and forgiveness. Dicky went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, June 11, 2002, he was  fifty-seven year old. He was a member of the Worldwide Church of God. He was a US Army veteran and served in the Berlin airlift. Survivors include his wife, Bonnie, two sons, five grandchildren, five brothers and sister Debra. Funeral services were held on Friday. Please keep the family in prayer and pray for salvation for those who have not accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Dicky was a very dear friend of mine. He was in a nursing home the past few months of his life. Thank you to all who lifted him up to the Lord in prayer. He is now free from suffering and pain.

Heavenly Father I lift up Glenda Harness to you in prayer. Her precious child Austin Glenn was born November 30, 2000 . He was only thirteen days old when you took him to be with you. Her middle son has been battling leukemia since he was seventeen years old. It has been five years and just recently he had a bone marrow transplant. Lord I ask that you wrap Glenda in your arms of love. I ask that you comfort her. I ask that you gently brush away each tear that falls from her eyes as she grieves the loss of her precious child. I ask that the memories of him be forever fresh in her mind until they meet again in your eternal home. Heavenly Father I lift up Benny to you in prayer. Benny was in surgery for thirteen and a half hours on Thursday.  They removed three fourths of his tongue and reconstructed it with some muscles  from under his arm.  They also removed all the lymph nodes in his neck. They did not find any cancer in his facial bones. He had a really bad day Saturday. They were not sure he was going to make it.  Thank you Lord for pulling him through.  They told him  that the cancer had spread to his lungs. He has to have radiation for seven weeks from the first surgery. Benny is a retired air force sergeant. He and his wife have two boys and three grandchildren. Lord I ask that you wrap Benny in your arms of love. I thank you for bringing him through the surgery. I ask that you remove any side effects that the chemotherapy treatments may have.  I ask that you give comfort to Benny and draw him close to you. I ask that you remove all cancer from his body. I ask for complete healing. I ask that you give comfort to his wife and his family and draw each one close to you. I leave Benny in your loving care Lord. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

 He is home now and recuperating. My parents called the hospital on Saturday to check on him and he answered the phone.  Praise God! He was talking,  not very plain but they could understand him quite well. We are waiting to hear about his lung cancer. They were gonna run more tests but we have not heard anything yet. Heavenly Father I lift up Adam to you in prayer. Adam was in a car accident May 2000, he is only fourteen years old.  He lost a classmate in the same accident. Adam is now a paraplegia because of a complete spinal cord injury. He is going to have to have more surgery this spring due to the fact that he has difficultly sitting in his wheelchair. Adam was a very active child, with lots of dream that have been taken away from him. He is adjusting very well with his disability. This has been a very hard time for Adam's family. Lord I ask that you wrap Adam in your arms of love. I ask that you draw him close to you. I ask that you free him from discomfort and pain so that he can sit in his wheel chair. I come before your throne and I ask for a miracle. I ask that you heal his spinal cord completely. He was given medication and the pain did not ease up so they placed him in the intensive care unit. Lord I ask that you keep Norman in your loving care. I ask that you draw him close to you. I ask that you remove any pain that he may be having. I ask that you direct the cardiologist as to treating him. BLOOD CLOTS ARE FORMING IN HIS FEET AND LEGS.  WATER BLISTERS HAVE BEGUN TO FORM ON HIS FEET. THE PERSON WHO HAS BEEN APPOINTED POWER OF ATTORNEY WANTS HIM MOVED TO ANOTHER HOSPITAL AND FEELS THAT THE ATTENDING DR. DOESN'T WANT HIM MOVED FOR SELFISH REASONS. LORD I ASK THAT YOU WRAP NORMAN IN YOUR ARMS OF LOVE. I ASK THAT YOU PLACE HIM THE HANDS OF A GOOD CARDIOLOGIST. EVEN THOUGH THE SITUATION DOESN'T LOOK GOOD LORD I KNOW THAT YOU CAN CHANGE IT ALL. The doctors are trying to decide the best treatment for her and they feel that chemotherapy treatments will be used. Shirley is sixty eight years old and she is very scared. Brittany is only fifteen years old and very smart. She started college at fourteen but ended up in trouble with drugs. Lord I ask that you keep Brittany in your loving care. Heavenly Father I lift up Ryan Skeen to you in prayer. He is fourteen years old and he jumped off a float in the Lexington Christmas parade after his foot went to sleep. It broke in the knee region backwards. It severed all of the main artery, nerves etc. One hospital mis-diagnosed him and he was without blood flow through the leg for twenty four hours. He was in surgery for approximately seven hours He was placed in the pediatric intensive care hospital. The doctor said that he had a bypass on this limb and a pin was placed pin running down into his groin all the way down the leg. The leg is not closed up and they have mesh on both sides hoping for the infection to run out. He is facing possible amputation, kidney failure, or heart problems. Lord I ask that you wrap Ryan in your arms of love. I ask that you bring him through this completely healed and free of any complications. I ask that you draw him close to you. I ask that you comfort his loved ones as they go through this difficult time. I ask that you draw each one close to you. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Heavenly Father I lift up the step sister of  Rosemary Lindsey to you in prayer. When she was leaving work last week she was hit by a car while walking to her car. She broke her left leg and right arm both above and below the elbow. As soon as her condition is stable she will need surgery. She is a very kind hearted person and loves to take care and do for others. She will be laid up for some time before she will be able to get back to the things that she enjoys. Lord I ask that you keep Rosemary in your loving care. I ask that you remove any pain and discomfort that she may be having. When time comes for her to have surgery I ask that you guide the surgeons hands and bring her safely through with no complications. I ask that you draw her close to you. Heavenly Father I lift up John and Anne to you in prayer. Anne has been diagnosed with throat cancer. This past summer she has been having chemotherapy treatments. She has a feeding tube in her stomach, she can't talk, takes morphine and doesn't even know her husband. She's resides at her home and John takes care of her. John cries because of his wife's condition. Lord  I ask that you wrap Anne in your arms of love. I ask that you give comfort to her and remove any pain that she may be in. I ask that she will be able to recognize John and speak his name. I ask that she be healed completely from all cancer within her throat. Heavenly Father I lift up Dave Howe to you in prayer. He recently saw a doctor about his leg and found out that he will need surgery. First they will be removing an old pin which was placed below the hip joint. The pin has been there for over thirty years. A new hip joint will be put in. While doing this procedure the leg is stretched which brings the risk of nerve damage. If this happens Dave will be in pain all the time even with the new hip. This is a big operation and he may be in hospital for some time. Lord I ask that you keep Dave in your loving care. I ask that you wrap him in your arms of love. I ask that you guide the surgeons hands and bring him through this operation free from complications. I ask that you give him a speedy recovery. I ask that you draw him close to you. Dear friends - update on my leg. Had my appointment at the hospital today. The doctor said that there is no more medication that will work with me. They can take the old pin out of my leg - but it is so old it will take a lot to get it out - It has been in my leg for over 30 years - Then I will have to recover from that before they can do anything else - That next thing is to put a new hip in. This will be high risk for me for It could restart the old disease that caused the leg trouble in the first place - Also there would be a high risk of a blood clot and a high risk of nerve damage. He told me that he could not do that operation - He would have send me to London to a big specialist hospital. He said that the new hip would only last for ten to fifteen because I am still young and active. Then it would have to be done again which would be even more high risk for me than the first time. The doctor is making an appointment for me to see the hip specialist in London . Afterwards he would like to see me again here in Margate before anything is done. I felt very sad at what I was being told - More long months or years of pain I thought - At the time  - I will not be able to go to America next year. I said to myself "I need a miracle" And I will still go to America come what ever happens. So that's all for now - Time for a miracle.

Heavenly Father I lift up Christian to you in prayer. He is only three years old. A shunt has been placed into his brain to drain the fluid build up. He has an inoperable brain tumor. He has lost his motor skills and sight. The doctors in Augusta contacted some Doctors at St. Jude and were told that the course of treatment that Augusta was offering to Christian was all that could be done for a tumor of that type and magnitude. Christian's family will be driving everyday, five hours round trip for him to receive radiation treatments for six weeks. Even if the radiation shrinks the tumor, it will grow back. Lord I ask that you wrap this precious little child in your arms of love. So young Lord and he has suffered so much. I ask that you cover Christian with your healing power from above. Lord only a miracle from you will save him. I come before your throne and I ask that you give complete healing to his little body. Lord if it is not your will to heal him then I ask for mercy. I ask that you give comfort to his loved ones and draw each one close to you. Christian's Father is not working at present because of an injury. I lift him up to you Lord. I ask that you heal him and strengthen his body and restore him completely healed of his injury. Christian's brother is bound to a wheel chair and is not in good health. Lord I ask that you wrap him in your arms of love. I ask that you give healing to his body wherever healing is needed. I ask that you remove any pain that he may be in. Lord I ask that you keep this family in your loving care. They are truly carrying a full load. I ask that you hold them in your arms of love. I received word tonight that little Christian was in Church, this very night! PRAISE GOD! My Uncle had printed out all of the prayer requests that I have been sending to him and they all went up to the alter at church and each person there read aloud the prayers that were sent. They laid hands on Christian as they prayed and upon his brother and Father. My Uncle said that it was such a powerful presence of GOD that was felt all around them tonight. She is going through withdrawal. Lord I ask that you wrap this precious little child in your arms of love. I ask that you remove the addition to crack from her little body. I ask that you cover her with your healing power from above. I ask for complete healing. I ask that you draw her mother close to you. I ask that you place a strong feeling of sorrow in her heart when she sees what her addiction has done to her little child. Sorrow so strong that she will fall to her knees in repentance. I ask that you place Christians in her path who will reach out to help her. I ask that the addiction for crack be removed from her. I ask that you heal her both spiritually as well as physically.  Hello Every One, I went and visited with Madison.  She is back in the hospital. She is so tiny. Madison was having problems with eating.  She was only eating 1 1/2 - 2 oz every three hours.  Then what she was eating was coming right back up, and then she started having problems with breathing again.  They admitted her to the hospital and they have been running a lot of different test on her.  I called the hospital this morning they told me that she is now eating 3 - 5 oz and keeping it down. She is up to 5 lbs.  Please keep her in your prayers.  I thank you all for the prayers for this little angel.  I spoke with her Mom and she has asked that I have my Pastor dedicate her to the LORD once I get her.  I am rejoicing in my heart for what God is doing in this little baby.  Rejoice with me, in His Holy Name.  God is Awesome!!! Heavenly Father I lift up Kevin to you on prayer. He was assaulted two nights ago while picking up a prescription for his sick daughter. He was beaten severely and he is presently in a coma and on life support. His prognosis is very poor. Lord I ask that you wrap Kevin in your arms of love. I ask that you bring him out of coma. I ask that you heal his body and see him through this. I ask for complete healing. I ask that you give comfort to his wife and children during this difficult time. Heavenly Father I lift up Mary Jean to you in prayer. Her mother passed away last February 17, 2000. Mary has a very high IQ, however she is totally incapable when it comes to making decisions. She has no working furnace in her home and will not accept help from her neighbor. The temperature has been as cold as-48 chill factor. The police have been after her to put her into a shelter, but because of her mental illness she is so afraid of the police that she runs whenever she sees them.  Her family which consist of one uncaring uncle and a couple of cousins only come around when there is trouble. The neighbors have not been able to reach them to let them know what is going on. Before Mary Jeans mother died this neighbor promised to look after Mary Jean and now feels she has fallen back on that promise. Lord I ask that you keep Mary Jean in your loving care. I ask that you draw her close to you. I ask that you place a hedge of protection around her and shelter her from the cold. I ask that you place a desire in her heart to accept help. I ask that provisions be made to place a new furnace in her home. I ask that you remove the guilt from her neighbor for she has tried to help in this situation. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

      Mary Jean now has heat, food and clothes. She finally asked for help last Mon. night at 11 PM. By the end of the next business day, we had heat restored and the furnace fixed. This Monday, she allowed me to take her to the SVDP food pantry to get her some food and after my surgery recovery, I will take her to the warehouse for more clothing. God bless you for continuing to pray for us. As for me, I am having major surgery tomorrow. Please keep me and the surgeon in your prayers. Amber Rose

Heavenly Father I lift up Carol's daughter Cynette and grandson Cy to you in prayer. Cynette has been diagnosed as a By Poller Manic-Depression and she is also an Alcoholic. Her Mom is very concerned about her. Carol has thought that Cynette has been clean and sober for eleven months but the last few months has noticed that she has not been acting right. It seems as though her fears have came to be true. Cynette is really making a mess of her life. Her grandson Cy was living with his father but ran away and is now living with his Aunt, he has been there for a few weeks. Carol feels that this is not a good place for her Grandson to be living. Lord I ask that you wrap Cynette in your arms of love. I ask that you draw her close to you. I ask that you place a hedge of protection around her and keep her from harms way. I ask that you remove the desire for alcohol from her. I ask that you place conviction for the wrong that she is doing so strong that she will fall to her knees in repentance. I ask that she be turned completed away from her sinful ways. You Lord are the only one who can help her and I come before your throne and ask that you intervene. I ask that you place a hedge of protection around Cy. I ask that you draw him close to you. I ask that you place a desire in his heart to return home to his father. I ask that you bring them together and bind their relationship with love. I ask that you give comfort to Carol and keep her in your loving care. I ask that you remove the anger and the hurt from her heart. I ask that you see her through this difficult time. I ask that you gently brush the tears from her eyes.
