Heavenly
Father I lift up Jim and his wife Nina to you in
prayer. Jim has been diagnosed with Alzhemiers disease.
This disease has caused a lot of stress in Nina's life and
there are times when she has a very hard time dealing with
it. She loves Jim very much and it has not been easy for
her to see the changes in him that have been brought on by
this terrible disease. Lord I ask that you wrap Jim in your
precious arms of love. I ask that you cover him with your
healing power from above. There is nothing that the doctors
can do to restore Jim's mind to function normally,
therefore, I come before your Heavenly Throne on his behalf,
believing that through you all things are possible and I ask
for miraculous healing. I ask that you restore his mind to
function normal. I ask that he be a testimony to the
doctors, medical staff, family and friends of your healing
power and of the power of prayer. I ask that you wrap Nina
in your arms of love. I ask that you draw her close to you.
I ask that you fill her with your peace that surpasses all
understanding. I ask that you give her strength to get
through each day. I ask that you give wisdom and guidance to
the medical researchers as they seek to find a cure for this
disease. I ask that a cure be found soon. I ask in the name
of Jesus. Amen.

Heavenly
Father I lift up these young believers to you in
prayer. This past Saturday, two van loads of young
Christians girls from a church in Ashland, Oregon were in an
accident. Many were injured, a few are in critical
condition, away from their homes and families. They are in
a Sacramento California hospital. They had just spent a
week in Mexico building, helping where ever needed, and of
course, testifying and praying with the local people. Lord
I ask that you wrap each girl in your precious arms of love.
I ask that you comfort each one and draw them close to you .
I ask that you cover them with your healing power from
above. I ask that you remove any pain and discomfort that
they may be having. I come before your Heavenly Throne on
their behalf, believing that through you all things are
possible and I ask that you bring each one safely through
their injuries, free from complications, completely healed.
I ask that they be a testimony to the doctors, medical
staff, family and friends of your healing power and of the
power of prayer. I ask for a speedy recovery so they can
continue serving you Lord. I ask that you give comfort to
their loved ones as they await the outcome. I pray that a
GOOD REPORT will be given for each one injured. I ask for
complete healing. I ask in the name of Jesus Amen.
Update 11/18/03
Two of the girls died. One of the more seriously injured is
still recuperating, the others are all okay now physically.
There has, of course, been much trauma involved around all
of this. Some of the families were un-churched which was
not helpful or conducive to peace. The young youth pastor
driving still may be charged with not enforcing the seat
belt rules and driving too tired for too long a time without
break. There is no punishment man can impose that will
begin to match his anguish about what happened, but man's
laws may have their say anyway. Sorry I could not report
better news. Some of the other youngsters involved, my
grandson being one of them, have come to a new
understanding of how fragile life is, and therefore to a new
understanding of the importance of living each day for the
Lord. So there are always blessings in some way or other,
praise the Lord for that! Thank you, Pat

Heavenly
Father I lift up Sandy and Kathy to you in prayer.
They live daily in severe pain. I don't know the diagnosis
for their illnesses, only that they need prayer. Lord I ask
that you wrap Sandy and Kathy in your arms of love. I ask
that you comfort them and draw each one close to you. I ask
that you cover them with your healing power form above. I
ask that you remove any pain and discomfort that they may be
having. I come before your Heavenly Throne on their behalf,
believing that through you all things are possible and I ask
that you give complete healing where healing is needed. I
ask that they be a testimony to their doctors, family and
friends of your healing power and of the power of prayer. If
they have not accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior, I ask
that you send Christians in their path to share the GOOD
NEWS OF CHRIST with them. I ask that you open their eyes to
see, open their ears to hear and open their hearts to feel
your wonderful love. I pray for salvation. I ask in the name
of Jesus. Amen.
Heavenly Father I lift up my precious daughter Dorothy
up to you in prayer. She is so special to me and I thank you
for her. She was diagnosed with psoriasis about five years
ago. This disease has been terrible over the years, her feet
and hands are broken open with sores that itch and cause a
great deal of pain and loss of sleep at night. She also
suffers from Hyperhidrosis, excessive sweating of the hands
and feet, no known cure for this as well. Along with these
diseases comes a lot of stress. My heart ached for her the
other day when she came home from work and sat by me and
cried. She has suffered so much and there is no known cure
only treatments that help for a short while, some with many
side affects. Lord I ask that you wrap Dorothy in your arms
of love. I ask that you comfort her and draw her close to
you. There is no cure for the disease that she has therefore
I come before your Heavenly Throne on her behalf, believing
that through you all things are possible and I ask for
miraculous healing. I ask that she awaken one day with her
hands and feet smooth and free of sores, sweat and itching.
I ask that she be a testimony to all who have seen her feet
and hands and know the pain and suffering that this disease
has caused in her life. I ask that she be a testimony of
your healing power and of coming together in prayer. If it
is not your will to heal her miraculously but through the
hands of a dermatologist , then I ask that you place one in
her path who will be able to help relieve her pain and
suffering and give healing to her feet and hands through the
use of medications. I ask that you give wisdom and guidance
to the medical researchers as they seek to find a cure for
this terrible disease that has causes so much pain and
suffering to those who have it. I ask that a cure be found
soon. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.
Heavenly
Father I lift up Bruce's niece to you in prayer. She
is in her forties and has two adult children. She has been
diagnosed with a chronic autoimmune disease called
Scleroderma. Scleroderma has no known cure. Lord I ask that
you wrap Bruce's niece in your arms of love. I ask that you
comfort her and draw her close to you. I ask that you cover
her with your healing power from above. I ask that you remove
any pain and discomfort that she may be having. There is no
cure for this disease, therefore, I come before your
Heavenly Throne on her behalf, believing that through you
all things are possible and I ask for miraculous healing. I
ask that she be a testimony to the doctors, medical staff,
family and friends of your healing power and of coming
together in prayer. If she has not accepted Jesus as her
Lord and Savior I ask that you place Christians in her path
to share the GOOD NEWS OF CHRIST with her. I ask that you
open her eyes to see, open her ears to hear and open her
heart to feel your wonderful love. I pray for salvation. I
ask for complete healing. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.
Update 8/14/2003
Dear
Charlotte, Thank you for the prayer for my niece - I forgot
to tell you her name is Annette and she replied to e-mail I
forwarded, the one with the butterflies. She really liked it
and she told me that she is saved, Praise the Lord. I don't
know why I never asked her, I guess I assumed she was saved
because she went to church, Praise God she is.
Unfortunately there are people whom go to church and pray,
even read the Bible, but they have never asked Jesus into
their hearts. Again thank you. Someday I will share my
testimony with you.
In His Holy Name, Bruce

Heavenly Father I lift up a husband and wife to you
in prayer. This couple are Christians and they are taking
four families to court. These families have some very
vicious dogs on the loose and are not following the dog
laws. A pit bull chased after a police woman a few days ago,
thank you Lord, it didn't get to her to harm her. The
families were given a ticket. Lord I ask that you wrap this
couple in your arms of love as they seek to have these dogs
properly restrained so no harm can come to anyone. I ask
that you place a judge before them who knows Jesus as his
Lord and Savior, one that will order the families to keep
their dogs behind fences and keep them properly chained. I
ask that a follow up be done frequently to make sure that
the families are abiding by the judgment. I ask that you
place a hedge of protection around this neighborhood and
keep it safe from being attacked by these dogs. I ask in the
name of Jesus. Amen.
Heavenly Father I lift up Rita to you in prayer. She
has been diagnosed with brain cancer. Lord I ask that you
wrap Rita in your arms of love. I ask that you comfort her
and draw her close to you. I ask that you cover her with

pain and discomfort that she may be having. I come before
your Heavenly Throne on her behalf, believing that through
you all things are possible and ask for miraculous healing.

friends of your healing power and of the power of prayer. If
it is not your will to heal her then I ask for mercy. I ask
that you comfort her husband and loved ones during this
difficult time. I ask that you draw each one close to you.
For those who have not accepted Jesus as their Lord and
Savior, I ask that you place Christians in their path to
share the GOOD NEWS OF CHRIST with them. I ask that you open
their ears to hear, open their eyes to see and open their
hearts to feel your wonderful love. I pray for salvation. I
ask for complete healing. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.
Update
12/01/003
Rita is scheduled to have surgery Wednesday, December 3rd.
to reattach her skull bone. She had it removed when the
blood clot was successfully removed but had to wait to have
the bone reattached. She is doing very well. Please keep her
in prayer.
Praise the Lord. Love Mary Lou

Heavenly Father I lift up Billy's brother to you in
prayer. He called his parents to tell them that he has been
having trouble seeing out of one eye. He was planning to
visit with them in October but has now informed them that he
may move to where they are located and find a doctor there.
He has seen a few doctors where he lives but none have not
been able to help. Lord I ask that you wrap Billy's brother
in your arms of love. I ask that you comfort him and draw
him close to you. I ask that you cover him with your healing
power from above. I ask that you remove any fear that he may
be having and replace it with your peace that surpasses all
understanding. I come before your Heavenly Throne on his
behalf and I ask that you restore his vision to normal. If
healing is to come through the hands of a doctor, I ask that
you place one in his path who can help him. I ask that you
give the doctor wisdom as he seeks to find the cause for his
vision loss. I ask for complete healing. I ask that he be a
testimony to the doctors, family and friends of your healing
power and of the power of prayer. I ask that you use this
illness in his life to draw him close to you. I ask that you
place Christians in his path to share the GOOD NEWS OF
CHRIST with him. I ask that you open his eyes to see, open
his ears to hear and open his heart to feel your wonderful
love. I pray for salvation. I ask for complete restoration
of vision. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.
Update 8/9/2003
Thanks so much for lifting my brother up to the Lord in
prayer. His eye is better, please keep praying for him to be
100% better and above all for him to come to the Lord. Bless
You, Billy

is twenty-eight years old and was diagnosed with cancer in
his shoulder. The cancer has spread to the point that
surgery is no longer an option. Lord I ask that you wrap
Lucas in your arms of love.
I ask that you comfort him and draw him close to you. I ask
that you cover him with your healing power from above. There
is nothing the doctors can do for him, therefore, I come
before your Heavenly Throne on his behalf, believing that
through you all things are possible and I ask for miraculous
healing. I ask that he be a testimony to the doctors,
medical staff, family and friends of your healing power and
of the power of prayer. If it is not your will to heal him
then I ask for mercy. I ask that you comfort his loved ones
during this difficult time and draw each one close to you.
If Lucas hasn't accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior I ask
that you send Christians in his path to share the GOOD NEWS
OF CHRIST with him. I ask that you open his ears to hear,
open his eyes to see and open his heart to feel your
wonderful love. I pray for salvation. I ask for complete
healing. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Heavenly Father I lift up Veronica and her husband
to you in prayer. They are scheduled to leave this Friday,
August 1st for Miami, then on to a seven day cruise to
Jamaica, Grand Cayman Islands etc. Veronica is a little
nervous due to all of the problems with terriosts. Lord I
ask that you wrap this wonderful Christian couple in your
arms of love. I ask that you remove any fear that they may
be having and replace it with your peace that surpasses all
understanding. I ask that you place a hedge of protection
around them and see them safely to and from their travels. I
ask that you place other Christians in their paths to make
their vacation more enjoyable.
I ask that you bless them and I pray that they will be a
blessing to others. I ask these things in the name of Jesus.
Amen.
Heavenly
Father I lift up my sister Dorothy to you in prayer.
She is my only sister and I love her very much. Three years
ago she was diagnosed with cancer, she had a complete
hysterectomy followed by chemo for six months. Last year she
was diagnosed with a Leaky Aortic Valve, paddles had to be
used on her twice. Thank you Lord for leaving her here with
us. She also was diagnosed with a hernia which was scheduled
to be removed before the problem with the heart. No surgical
procedures have been done on the hernia or the leaky valve
as the doctors thought it best to wait for her to get her
strength back. She recently discovered a large mass in her
lower right side and today she is scheduled to have a Cat
Scan to see what the mass is. Lord I ask that you wrap
Dorothy in your arms of love. I ask that you comfort her and
draw her close to you. I ask that you cover her with your
healing power from above. Once again Lord I come before your
Heavenly Throne on her behalf and I ask that the mass be
free of cancer cells. I ask that you give healing to the
Aortic Valve and I ask that you remove the hernia. I ask
that she be a testimony to the doctors, medical staff,
family and friends of your healing power and of the power of
prayer. I ask that you comfort her as she awaits the
results. I ask that a GOOD REPORT be given. I ask for
complete healing. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.
Update 8/12/03
Dorothy had the Cat Scan as scheduled, the lump is another
hernia. The doctor has said nothing thus far about removing
them. Please keep her in prayer. PTL she is still cancer
free. Thank you for your prayers for my sister. In

comfort to his loved ones as they await the
outcome. I ask that you draw each one close to
you. I ask that a GOOD REPORT be given. I ask in
the name of Jesus. Amen.
Update 8/1/03
Dearest Brothers & Sisters in Christ,
Please forgive me that I did not mail this out
last night, but I was so tired and hungry when I
got back home after 9 PM EDT I just didn't have
it in me to type it for you all.
Daddy's surgery began about 11 AM and was
completed about 2:10 PM EDT, 7/31. The doctor
came and talked to us about 3 PM and told us
we'd be able to see Daddy in another 1 to 2
hours, maximum. [The seeing Daddy is another
story altogether.] Dr. Olsen said once they got
Daddy into surgery, what they found WAS NOT what
they had expected. It was not the Non-invasive,
ball type, benign tumor, as it had appeared to
be in all the MRI's they did. Dr. Olsen called
this a LESION [though I am sure it's some type
of tumor]. The lesion had literally grown
through the skull bone. However, none of us can
remember positively whether he said it was from
the inside out or the outside in. Dr. Olsen
said he is sure he got the entire lesion and
that it WAS NOT attached to the brain, but was
pressing on the brain [i.e. the seizures Daddy
had last week]. It was actually attached to the
bone. The lesion/mass/tumor was sent to
pathology and it will be 4 to 5 days [from
yesterday] before we can expect the results
back. Until then we have no idea what it
actually is/was or whether it's malignant or
benign. They did not replace the bone with a
metal plate, but instead put it back [we are
assuming after doing something to it to make
sure that any living lesion cells were killed,
but no one thought to ask that yesterday]. He
appeared/appears to have no impaired function,
all his parts appear to be working fine. He
told his sister, Delores & I that he got
"mule-kicked" and the mule got him good this
time. That's my Daddy, thank God it didn't
affect his sense of humor. Daddy spent the
night in ICU and will be put in a regular room
sometime today. Mama just left the hospital and
says he looks much better today than he did last
night. She'll be going back after work. My
baby sister, Deborah and her husband, Brian were
there about the same time Mama was, and my other
sister, Stephanie will be going to see him later
today, as her daughter is sick this morning.
I'll go tomorrow, after he's settled into his
new room and the onslaught of visitors and such
have come and gone. They are supposed to be
starting his physical therapy today and we
expect he'll remain in the hospital until the
pathologists report is available. Once they
know what it is/was they will proceed as
necessary. We are praying as a family it is
indeed benign and that no treatment will be
necessary. Again we want to thank you all for
your many prayers for Daddy and all of us during
the past 7 months, and for your continued
prayers that we know will be prayed. There's a
reason and a purpose for the fiery trials our
family is going through, and we know that God's
purpose will be accomplished for His glory,
though we know not what that purpose is at this
time and may never know. But, we fail not to
give God the glory for all He's done already and
for what He is doing. We don't have to know
what it is, to glorify God. The extra closeness
in the family and knowing that so far He's
brought Daddy through these valleys scarred but
unscathed are reasons enough to rejoice and
praise God and give God the glory. Again, thank
you all so very much .
Your Sister in Christ,
Rhonda
Update11/28/2003
Daddy has another knot on his head. It's about
as big around as a fifty cent piece and about
1/2 to 2/3 an inch high in the middle. Doesn't
seem to be tender to the touch. It's about
centered in the middle of the operation area
from his surgery on 7/31/03. A Pet Scan, which
was scheduled for the 17th has been moved up to
next Friday, December 5. Also, please remember
that my sister's Deb's baby Kylie is due next
Friday. PLEASE PRAY.
Thank you, Yours
in Christ,
Rhonda

prayer. If it is not your will to heal him then
I ask for mercy and I ask that you give his wife
the strength to accept your will. I ask that you

time. I ask that you draw her close to you. I
ask that you give her your peace that surpasses
all understanding. I ask for complete healing. I

Heavenly Father I lift up Mel's mother to
you in prayer. She is ninety-three years old,
she is alert, oriented and lives on her own. She
has been diagnosed with an Inoperable Thoracic
Aneurysm which she has not been told about due
to the fact that her daughter doesn't want to
cause her worry and concern. Lord I ask that you
wrap this precious mother in your arms of love.
I ask that you cover her with your healing power
from above. I ask that you comfort her and draw
her close to you. She has been diagnosed with an
Inoperable Thoracic Aneurysm, therefore I come

believing that through you all things are
possible and
I ask for miraculous healing. I ask for complete
removal of the Aneurysm. I ask that she be a
testimony to her doctor and daughter of your
healing power and of the power of prayer. I ask
that you wrap Mel in your arms of love and draw
her close to you. I ask that you fill her with
your peace that surpasses all understanding. I
ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Heavenly Father I lift up Joyce's father
to you in prayer. He has been diagnosed with
leukemia and his condition is terminal. Today,
July 22nd is his eighty-fifth birthday, he is
too weak to go out so his family is taking a
special dinner to him and spending the day with
him. Lord I ask that you wrap this precious dad
in your arms of love.
I ask that you comfort him and remove any pain
and discomfort that he may be having. I ask that
his dinner be a wonderful time for the family to
come together and show their love for him and
celebrate the eighty-five years of life that you
have given him. I pray that you will give him
strength to get through this day. Lord there is
nothing more that the doctors can do for Joyce's
father, therefore I come before your Heavenly
Throne on his behalf, believing that through you
all things are possible and I ask for miraculous
healing for only a miracle will save him now. If
it is not your will to heal him then I ask for
mercy. I ask that he not suffer and that you
take him peacefully in his sleep. I ask that you
give comfort and strength to his family during
this difficult time. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
Update 11/18/03
My father went home to Glory August 12, 2003 at
6:00 AM, I have been devastated and my heart is
broken. I miss him terribly, I appreciate all
the prayers that went up on his behalf. We are
critically in debt now, and your prayers would
be much appreciated. God Bless you, Love in
Christ, Sister Joyce

Heavenly Father I lift up Nikki's stepmother
to you in prayer. She had her thyroid gland
removed two weeks ago because cancerous cells
were found and they thought that it may be the
reason for problems with her high blood
pressure. The surgery went well and everything
seemed to be going OK. She had been feeling ill
this morning and vomited several times. Her
husband was concerned and took her to the
hospital,
after being there for about a half an hour she
had a heart attack and a stroke. They were
able to stabilize her, afterward she was flown
by helicopter to St. Luke's Hospital which has a
cardiac unit better equipped to handle her
situation. They don't know what's wrong with her
heart as yet and they can't get her blood
pressure down. It will be roughly forty-eight
hours until the doctors can assess the damage
caused by the stroke. Lord I ask that you
wrap this woman in your arms of love. I ask that
you draw her close to you. I ask that you cover
her with your healing power from above. I ask
that you comfort her and remove any pain and
discomfort that she may be having. I ask that
you give the doctors and medical staff wisdom
and guidance in caring for her. I come before
your Heavenly Throne on her behalf, believing
that through you all things are possible and I
ask that you bring her through, free from
complications, completely healed. I ask that she
be a testimony to the doctors, medical staff,
family and friends of your healing power and of
the power of prayer. I ask that you give comfort
to her husband and children as they await the
outcome. I ask
that a GOOD REPORT be given. I ask for complete
healing. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.
Update 7/23/03
Well, it's time for an update on Robin (my step
mom) . I went to visit her today in the
hospital. Good news first--she's slowly being
weaned off the ventilator which has been placed
in her trachea (she's mostly breathing on her
own), the virus that originally started all of
this is completely gone, she has begun to
respond to different stimuli (hot, cold, and
pain), and under normal circumstances she's
healthy. Bad news--she hasn't come out of her
coma yet. It's really difficult because her
eyes are open, they blink, and she shuts them
when she's tired... when you're there she looks
like she's looking at you and trying to focus on
you and her eye's blink and her lips make
twitching movements and she's swallowing and
doing normal body functions but she's not
"there" at all. Somewhere behind her eyes she's
somewhere else. It's really hard because your
looking at her look at you but she's definitely
not looking at you. She's in a coma but not a
normal coma. I can't explain it. Also, my dad
is now having problems with the insurance
company and with the rehabilitation center she's
being evaluated for. The rehab center is not
sure whether Robin is a candidate yet and they
aren't giving my dad straight answers as to what
the qualifications are to get her in. Also, the
insurance company will only cover 45 days in the
center if and when she goes and she will most
likely need more than that so there may be some
serious financial difficulties within the coming
months for my dad. He also has started the
lawsuit against the original hospital that
caused this situation so that's playing into all
of this. For the first time today I also saw my
little sister (who's 6) break down and cry for a
good 10 minutes.. just cry uncontrollably. She
misses her Mom and it's beginning to really
show... this situation is hard for
everyone. What I can say is this... emotionally
it's confusing because you can't grieve over
someone you haven't lost and you know they are
there but it's as if they are gone anyway. I
can't imagine how families deal with people who
are in a coma for years and I pray that this
isn't the case with mine. This situation has
brought me to my knees because there is nothing
you can do except leave this to God. Each and
every day I've seen the little miracles he's
doing with Robin and have been witness to his
amazing healing power. He's the reason she's
still alive and I truly believe that. My prayer
has been this--that whatever may happen, Robin's
life is a testimony to the glory of God and to
his healing power. Please continue to pray....
specifically that Robin will come out of her
coma, the financial matters as well as the
upcoming lawsuit, the situation with the
insurance company, and that we are able to get
Robin into the proper Rehab center. Also, just
pray for my dad and his health. He hasn't slept
much at all and he's balancing so much right
now. For my little sister and for my family and
their salvation. Me, my dad, and my step mom
are the only Christian's. Thanks so much for
all your continued prayers. I love you all so
much and it's been a blessing not just to me but
to my dad as well knowing that Robin has so many
people who care and who have been praying since
the beginning of this whole situation.
God Bless ~Nikki~
Update 8/7/03
Hello everyone! Well, what a
summer... what's the phrase, "it was the best of
times, it was the worst of times." That seems
to be the ongoing theme of my summers for the
past three years. Here's an update on my step
mom (Robin) Two days ago she had surgery to put
a pacemaker and a defibulator into her. She
came through just fine. However, she still
remains pretty much the same. She is still in a
coma (or that trapped state that I referred to
last email) but I think finally they've decided
on a rehabilitation center for her to go to.
Next week she's going to be transferred to the
for further treatment. Please continue
praying... there is still a long road ahead. So
that's the quick update. ~Nikki~
