prayer. This precious child is scheduled for surgery in October to correct a problem in
his testis. Lord I ask that you wrap this precious little one in your arms of love. I ask

I called the hospital the day of Michael's surgery, he had had the surgery and was out
of recovery. He was doing very good. Talking and having a bite to eat. Praise The Lord!
He was released the same day and again I called his mother Natalie at home and she
said he was running all over, couldn't keep him down. Said you would have never known that
he had surgery. Praise The Lord! Thank you for lifting this precious child up to the Lord

to you in prayer. Larry left on deployment, he is with the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit
out of North Carolina. Lord I ask that you wrap Larry in your arms of love. I ask
that you draw him close to you. I ask that you place a hedge of protection around the USS
Bataan and keep Larry and his fellow Marines safe. I ask that you give comfort to Larry's
wife Monica and his children during this sad time in their lives. I ask that you draw each

ulcer caused by a bacteria known as H. Pylori. The ulcer is bleeding and her joints are

I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED. MY DOCTOR TOLD ME IT WOULD BE AT LEAST ANOTHER THREE TO FOUR FULL
MONTHS BEFORE MY SPINE HEALS. IT IS A VERY BAD FRACTURE. I CAN'T DO ANYTHING. HE SAID, HE
COULD DO SURGERY, IT WOULD BE LIKE GLUING THE FRACTURE TOGETHER BUT SAID THAT HE WOULD
RATHER FOR IT TO HEAL ON IT'S ON UNLESS HE HAS NO OTHER CHOICE. I AM LISTENING TO HIM. HE
SAID, HE DID NOT WANT TO GET A CALL THAT I WAS IN THE HOSPITAL PARALYZED OR IT COULD BE
WORSE THAN THIS. I KNOW GOD HAS HEARD AND ANSWERED PRAYERS. I DON'T HAVE AS MUCH PAIN NOW
AND I GIVE HIM ALL THE GLORY AND PRAISE FOR THIS. I AM TAKING ONE DAY AT A TIME. PLEASE

Heavenly Father I lift up Patty to
you in prayer. Her husband is among the missing from the World Trade Center. Patty just
gave birth to their baby Wednesday. The baby is in the Critical Care Unit, born with a
hole in his lung. The doctors are not expecting him to live. Lord I ask that you wrap
Patty in your arms of love. I ask that you give comfort to her and draw her close to you.
I ask that you wrap her precious baby in your arms of love. I ask that you remove any pain
or discomfort that he may be having. Lord I come before your Heavenly Throne believing
that through you all things are possible and I ask for miraculous healing. I ask that this
precious little one be a testimony to the doctor's, medical staff, family, friends and
strangers of your healing power and of the power of prayer. I ask that he be placed in his
mother's arms, completely healed, that he may go home to be with his mother and his
sister. Lord so many are still missing from the World Trade Center and the search is still
on for people who may still be alive. I ask that you place a hedge of protection around
the rescue workers and keep them safe. I know that finding anyone alive right now is
looking very grim, but again Lord I believe that with you all things are possible. I ask

Praise The Lord! Patty's baby is home and doing good. Memorial service will be held

you in prayer. She has been diagnosed with breast cancer and will be scheduled for a
mastectomy, probably within a couple of weeks. She will be seeing a plastic surgeon on
Tuesday, Sept. 25th regarding the type of reconstruction, etc., then surgery will be
scheduled. Lord I ask that you wrap Beth's friend in your arms of love. I ask that you
draw her close to you. I ask that you prepare her for the upcoming surgery and remove any
fear that she has and replace it with peace in knowing that you are with her every step of

25th for removal of a tumor growing near his heart on his lung. The doctors have said that

healing power from above. I ask that you remove any pain and discomfort that he may be in.

Update 9/24/01
Praise the Lord! Baby Nicholas is doing fine!
Little Nicholas's surgery went fantastically well today. The tumor which had been
believed to be attached to adrenal glands and lung and impinging on heart was found to be
"free floating." It was plucked out" by the surgeon who could not have been
more pleased with the success of the procedure. No organs had to be touched during its
removal. Nicholas looks wonderful, they gave him and are giving him a mini-epidural so he
is pain free. He should be home by Friday if not sooner. To all of you prayer angels
gratitude of the deepest kind. To Almighty God and all the saints, angels and souls who
guarded and guided Nicholas and his doctors, no words suffice. A special thank you
to Mary the Mother of Jesus, her intercession with her son is unfailing. Once again, thank
you from my entire family. We are here for you when you need prayers. We will

to you in prayer. Shawn is in the hospital as a result of having a seizure during his
birthday party on Sunday. A cat scan and a MRI was done and the result showed a tumor
about the size of a half dollar on the right side of his brain. A surgeon was called
in on Sept. 18th. Lord I ask that you wrap Shawn in your arms of love. I ask that you
comfort him and remove any pain and discomfort that he may be having. I ask that you cover
him with your healing power from above. If surgery is needed I ask that you guide the

Update 1/25/02
Shawn is coming along very well. He isn't completely healed, but he is gaining every
day, and the doctors are hopeful that there will be a complete healing. They still
are not sure just exactly what it was that caused the infection in his little body or how
it spread so fast. God is still on the throne and Shawn will be healed, I feel very
strongly about this. In two weeks I move into my trailer that God made sure I
got. God is so good to us all. When I get up and have aches and pains, I just
thank God that I can get up, and when it is hard to breathe with this Asthma, I just
thank God that he helps me breathe, and I can go on with my life.

support. She has been through a lot of difficulties in her marriage, she and her husband
have decided to divorce. She does not believe in divorce and would like very much to save

Hi, here's the info concerning Tanner Diagnosis: Viral Encephalitis In
Intensive Care Unit Inflammation of the brain Not in a coma, but unconscious - can hear
those around him Medications: Steroids for the inflammation, anti-conversant to keep
seizures from occurring, also medicine to reduce fever. Jackie looked up Viral
Encephalitis in her text books...it said you can get this from a mosquito bite, typically
affects the very young or elderly. Takes 5-15 days for symptoms to show. That's all I know
so far. I'll let you know if we find out anything else. Thanks again!!!!
Update 10/3/01
I just heard from my son in law about his cousin's baby boy Tanner (8 months old) He is
the one I asked prayer for that had the high fever and started having seizures. They still
have him on the ventilator and they did an MRI on him. They seem to think he has a
"spot" in 2 places. One is his short memory spot and one in his motor skills. I
am praying they are just bruising from the seizures. I wanted to update you on this.

I just got word from Tanner's uncle. They feel the spots on his brain MIGHT be due to the
seizures. They still have to run more tests. Also he had a stroke the other day. Not sure
why. He opened his eyes for the first time and reached out his hand and seems to
responding to voices. The think now it might be a genetic (?) thing. Please continue
lifting Tanner up to the Lord in prayer. Love, Barb

I just heard from my son- in -law John about his cousin's baby (Tanner). They told him
only that he is being fed through a tube in his stomach and he has 75% brain damage. My
heart is breaking for this family. The Grandparents and Great Grandparents are moving out
to California to be with Tanner's parents. I just wanted to thank you and update
what little I know. Thanks so much!

Tanner has had a lot
of health problems since he was born two years ago the
beginning of this month. This morning his Mom went to
change him and he gave her a beautiful smile. She noticed
his feet were blue and in moments he was blue and quit
breathing. She gave him CPR and got him to the hospital.
They told the family that he could be on life support
breathing forever but there was no brain function. Tanner
is in the arms of our Savior ....whole and happy.

Heavenly Father lift up Nikki's
cousin Timmy to you in prayer. He was at the World Trade Center when it collapsed
yesterday. He works for the NYPD and was at City Hall on duty when he heard the explosions
and ran down to help. When he arrived there he ran inside to help some victims and that's
when the building collapsed. The NYPD has informed his wife that they know Timmy is buried
underneath all of the rubble, in fact they have an idea of where he is but the problem is
they can't get to him. Lord I ask that you wrap Timmy in your arms of love. I ask
that he be found safe and alive. I ask that you place a hedge of protection around all of
the rescue workers and fireman who are reaching out to help find people among all of the
rubble. I pray Lord that Timmy and many more will be found alive. I ask that you give
comfort to each family that has a missing loved one. I ask that you wrap them in your
precious arms of love. Lord you are our comfort and our strength in time of trouble and
right now Lord strength is needed to keep our fellow Americans going. I ask that you place

operated on August 28th because of brain cancer and a concern that it had spread elsewhere

Charlotte, you put a prayer up for my daughter's mother in law. An update we
sent to you stated that she was doing good. Something happened yesterday and she
died, got up that morning said she was hot, but the house was cold, she started
coughing and that was it. They restarted her heart three times but could not keep
her alive to get her to the hospital. Patricia was only fifty years old. LOVE YOU, GENE

Heavenly Father I lift up Grandma to
you in prayer. I was informed on September 5th that she will never be weaned from the
ventilator and that a tracheotomy will be done. She has to be fully sedated to
tolerate the ventilator. Grandma had blood poisoning from a severe infection of her
bladder, Sepsis invaded her whole body including the organs and they found e-coli
infections as well. Her white blood count reached nearly forty-thousand. She also had a
severe case of double pneumonia. All of these microorganisms gave her ARDS (Adult
Respiratory Depressed Syndrome) Her body is very weak because she is a cardiovascular
patient, having been operated on many times, by-pass surgery twice, plus angioplasty
several times. Lord I ask that you wrap Grandma in your arms of love. I ask that you
comfort her and remove any pain that she may be having. I ask that you cover her with your
healing power from above. I come before your Heavenly Throne on her behalf, believing that
through you all things are possible and I ask for miraculous healing. The doctors may say
that she will never be weaned from the ventilator, but Lord I know that if it is your will
she will be removed from it. I pray that Grandma will be a testimony to the doctors,

Grandma is still in ICU on ventilator. Been there and sedated for 19 days. Not responding
to weaning from ventilator or sedation. We pray only for God's Will and she would and has,

heart attack. The doctor has confirmed her belief and has scheduled her to see a heart
doctor Monday, August 27th. She was given Nitroglycerin to take if this happens again
before her scheduled appointment. The cardiologist is going to put a tube in her leg and
run it up to her heart so he can see what is going on. Lord I ask that you wrap Carol in

having a hard time stabilizing it. She had been having severe migraines for the past

Update 8/25/01
Hi everyone, Just wanted to give you an update on my Mom, Holly Cole. Last night was
kind of a rough one for her, she had a terrible headache and her blood pressure rose to
197/120. They were able to give her something for the pain, but her headache didn't go
away and her blood pressure didn't go down until this afternoon. I actually got to speak
with her this evening. She sounded good. She is staying at the hospital for the night
while the doctor's wait for some test results to come back...her blood pressure is still
high, about 169/95, so they want to keep her in to monitor that. She had an MRI done
today, if the results come back negative, her doctor can only assume that all of this is
due to a medication interaction. Please be praying that her MRI comes back normal or
negative! She sounds in good spirits and was laughing with me on the phone! Thanks

Hi all, Just wanted to let you know that my Mom was released today to come home.
Her blood pressure is down to 42/94 and is being controlled with medication. Her MRI
results came back somewhat unclear, her doctor is looking into it with her. Please

up John to you in prayer. Three years ago he was diagnosed with
Polyneuropathy, which destroys the discs in the spine and also destroys the muscles
in the body. He is in constant pain. He has applied for assistance many
times with many appeals and gets nowhere. About a year ago he found a doctor that
said Prozac would help but not cure his problem, the doctor was giving him samples as his
finances would not cover a prescription. The doctor moved away about six months ago
and so did his access to Prozac. July 4th, he felt he was at the end of his
endurance and wanted to die, his parents got him help and they are working with many
people of influence to get him more help, including the maker of
Prozac, Eli Lily. He
is scheduled to see Eli on Friday to see if he can help him in any way. Lord I ask that
you wrap John in your arms of love. I ask that you cover him with your healing power from
above. I ask that you draw him close to you. I ask that you remove any pain and discomfort
that he may be having. All that can be done for John medically has been done as there is
no cure for this disease, therefore I come before your Heavenly Throne on John's behalf

Heavenly Father I lift up John Parker Luke Robinson to you in
prayer. On May 18th, 2001, he was taken to the hospital because of an earache that he'd
had for about three weeks. He had already been taken to the doctor a total of two other
times, each time he was given a different medication. The earache continued. On May 18th
at the hospital blood work was done, his parents were told that something was wrong and
they needed to get him to Vanderbilt University as soon as possible. John's parents did as
they were instructed. They were told that Luke had a 99% chance of having either leukemia
or a bacterial infection that kills bone marrow. After a few more tests Luke was diagnosed
with leukemia. He is presently at St. Judes Children's Research Hospital going through
chemotherapy treatments everyday. He will be taking chemotherapy over the next three years
if he makes it with nothing else going wrong with him. Lord I ask that you wrap this
precious child in your arms of love. I ask that you remove any pain and discomfort that he
may be having. I ask that you cover him with your healing power from above. I come before

diagnosed with a heart attack last night. He was flown to Conemaugh Hospital so they
could begin working on him right away. The doctors placed three stents in to keep the
heart arteries open. He will be in the hospital a few more days, then he will go to his
daughter's home for two weeks. They want him to get a little stronger, then he will be
scheduled for triple by-pass surgery. Lord I ask that you wrap Bob in your arms of love. I

Update on Bob Gray. He went to see his cardiologist on Sept. 5th. He was told that before
his bypass surgery he will need to undergo surgery to clear the carotid arteries in his
neck. This will take place the first week in Oct. As soon as things are okay from that
surgery they will do the bypass. He has a visiting nurse that will keep an eye on things
until then. He is staying with his daughter Karen, I'll let you know the date of surgery

I just called to check on Doug, the doctors said he had a heart attack. He had
triple bypass surgery in 1979. He is in the Intensive Care Unit, the doctor will be

Amanda Bundy to you in prayer. She is six years old, a few weeks ago her
mother was giving her a hug and felt a lump on her back. An X-ray showed it to be some
sort of growth, and later tests revealed that is a massive malignant tumor that has spread
to all parts of her chest and abdomen. There are no organs that are untouched and she has
more tumors in her body than she has organs. She was hospitalized after the biopsy of
the tumor. Her parents are now waiting for the results of a bone marrow test. If her bone
marrow is clean, then they have a chance to save her with chemotherapy. If they find
cancerous cells in her bone marrow, the only hope to save her life is a miracle. She is in
no pain as yet and appears to be a perfectly healthy, beautiful little red-haired girl.
She doesn't even know she is sick yet. Lord I ask that you wrap this precious child in
your arms of love. So young to have this terrible disease. Lord I come before you Heavenly
Throne on behalf of Amanda, believing that through you all things are possible and I ask
that you give miraculous healing to her. I ask that you completely remove the disease of

I called to check on Anne for the final time tonight at 9:00 PM. Surgery went well, five
hours for surgery and recovery. Anne is doing OK. She has a lot of fluid in her body from
the surgery, they are giving her medication for that, blood pressure is quite high. The
doctor said that she will remain in critical care for the next five days. Please continue

I spoke with Anne over the phone at 7:10 PM tonight. She has been moved to a
private room. She sat up for two hours, walked down the hall and she ate some Jell-O and
bullion soup. She said that the doctor said the kidney was a perfect match. They placed
the new kidney in the front area of her right side. She is PRAISING THE LORD as we
all are. THANK YOU LORD!!!, we give you all GLORY and HONOR
and PRAISE YOU ARE OUR HEALER, OUR ROCK and OUR SALVATION. Her
blood pressure is up, she has thirty pounds of fluid in her body, fluid on her lungs and
her blood sugar is up, but we know that the Lord will take care of her. Please continue in

I called Anne around 1:00 PM. She sounds really good and giving the Lord a lot of Praise.
She is a walking miracle. My sister-in-law kept saying the doctors are astonished at how
well she is doing. She may be released as soon as Friday. Her blood sugar is up mainly due
to the anti-rejection medications, they lower the dose every three days. Once the dosage
can be lowered possibly in a month or so her blood sugar should stabilize. Please pray for
her parents Buck and Ruth and other family members that live near her as Anne is going to
ask them to come to Church and rejoice with her in praise to the Lord. Thank you for
lifting Anne up to the Lord in prayer. Please continue to pray for her and join us in

`Anne was released from the hospital yesterday. So far everything is going well. My
sister-in-law had to clean the house thoroughly as Ann has to be in a dust free
environment. Please keep Ruth (Anne's mother) in prayer as well as she will be the main
caretaker, she just had surgery not long ago for slipped disks. Anne's brother Ryan was
electrocuted a few years back and he has some memory loss, Ruth cares for him as well.
Ruth is a wonderful mother and she loves her family and takes very good care of them.
Please pray also for the donors family. Anne found out while she was in the hospital from
the wife of the man who received the other kidney. The donor was a young man of twenty-six
who lost his life in a car accident. The man who received the other kidney is sixty-four
years old and he is blind. He is not doing as well as Anne, please pray for his healing
and that his body does not reject the kidney. From this young man two people have a chance
to live, please join my family in prayer that God will comfort his family. In time Anne
will be writing a letter to his parents (names not revealed to her) the letter will be

I spoke with Anne last night, she will be having surgery
tomorrow, Thursday, Sept. 27th. Her kidney is leaking into her leg. The surgeon will be
tying off the AV Graph that was placed in her leg and may have to go into the kidney area.

Anne is doing very well, she drove to Florida from Ohio to take her brother Ryan
to see a football game recently. The kidney is functioning good. Praise The Lord!

Update 3/13/03
Anne needs prayer, she was admitted to the
hospital yesterday, she was placed in the ICU Unit, blood
sugar was over 800, today it is stabilized, Praise The
Lord. In the year 2001 she had a much needed kidney
transplant, now they think that her body may be rejecting
it. She will be moved to another hospital tomorrow where a
biopsy will be done to see if this is what is happening.
She is a Christian. Please keep her in prayer. Thank you.

Update 3/15/03
I spoke with Ann today, the results of the biopsy show
that the kidney is being rejected. She is out of the ICU
but placed near the nurses station where she is checked on
frequently. Her blood sugar was up to 600, as a result of
the steroids she has to take to keep the body from
rejecting the kidney. If this fails to work by tomorrow
AM, she will be given some kind of horse medication which
will make her very ill. Her spirits are OK. Please
continue to pray that the steroids will take care of this

Update 3/17/03
My sister-in-law called an hour ago. Ann will be treated
with the horse medication to try and save her kidney.
Three doctors met today and their decision was that this
medication is needed. There are a lot of side effects.
Please pray that she will not go through any serious side
effects and that this medication will save her kidney. I
spoke with her today as she was awaiting the doctor's
decision, she was in good spirits and just wants to get
this over with. Her stay in the hospital could be fourteen
days. Thank you for your prayers and your emails, which I
have forwarded to Ann so she can read them when she gets

Update 3/20/03
I spoke with Ann at 12:00 today she is doing much
better. Her blood sugar is still up, over 400 and her
potassium is 5, I think the normal range is 1-3. Praise
The Lord, she is no longer running a fever or
experiencing really bad side effects. She is in good
spirits. The doctor spoke with her yesterday and told her
she will have to have a total of eleven injections, they
said three at first then six now more is needed. Please
keep her family in prayer as this has been a trying time
for them. Pray for their salvation as well. Thank you for
your prayers.

3/25/03
Praise The Lord, Ann will be going home tomorrow. I
spoke to Ann today as I have every day that she has been
in the hospital other than her time spent in the Intensive
Care Unit, her strength has been amazing as well as her
faith. She stated through it all that God would not give
her any more than she could handle. He has been her
strength! She is still retaining a lot of fluid, she will
be given medication to help her with that. She will be
staying with her parents until she regains her strength.
Ann thanks all of you who lifted her up to the Lord in

Hello everyone, once again I ask that you pray for
my niece Ann. She was admitted to the hospital last night,
diagnosed with three blood clots in the neck. She said she
is very uncomfortable as her face is very swollen. The
kidneys still aren't functioning as they should be. Thank

Update 12/26/03
Ann has been in the Intensive Care Unit for three days
now. She is doing better and will taken out of ICU as soon
as they find a bed for her. The doctor finally talked her
into being placed back on dialysis. She will be having
dialysis three days a week from now on until a kidney is

Update 1/19/05
Ann is in the hospital, the kidney that was
implanted in 2001 is infected. She is scheduled to have
the kidney removed today at 4:00 PM. She will be given
antibiotics before, during and after surgery. They are
prepared in case she needs a blood transfusion. Her mother
Ruth who has always been there for her through everything
passed away in January 2004. I know that Anne misses her
mother deeply and it will be hard not having her there
with her today. Ruth was a very special mother, so caring
and had so much love for her children. My brother (Anne's
dad) and family members will be at the hospital before she
goes in for surgery today and will remain there until they
know that everything is OK. Ann was to be scheduled to
have another kidney transplant in March, her donor is her
Pastor. The transplant will have to be rescheduled. They
are hoping to reschedule it for sometime in June providing
that all goes well with the health evaluations which will
be done in May. Please pray that that the surgery goes
well and pray for a speedy recovery. Also pray for the
upcoming transplant that the evaluations are OK and that
the transplant will be successful. I will keep you updated

Update 1/20/05
My brother Fred called me yesterday around
7:00 PM from the hospital. Anne was still in recovery at
that time. The doctor said that the surgery went better
than he had expected. I called her Dad this morning, he
said the same as Fred told me last night. He said after
she was moved into her room from recovery she had a cup
of broth to drink and talked to one of her friends on
the telephone from her church. Her vital signs were OK
other than her blood sugar and they were working to get
that under control. Praise The Lord for
seeing her through safely as He has always done. Thank
you for your prayers and please continue to pray for a
speedy recovery and pray for the upcoming transplant.

Joey
to you in prayer. He is in his forties and has been diagnosed with throat cancer. He
has a permanent tracheotomy tube in the throat, cannot eat food and must be fed through a
tube in his stomach. He cannot talk unless he covers the tracheotomy tube in the
neck. He is scheduled for surgery again on Tuesday, August 7th. He has recently
accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior. Lord I ask that you wrap Joey in your arms of
love. I ask that you draw him close to you. I ask that you cover him with your healing
power from above. I ask that you guide the surgeons hands and bring him through safely, I
come before your Heavenly Throne on behalf of Joey believing that through you all things
are possible and I ask that you heal him completely. I ask for a speedy recovery. I ask
that he be a testimony to the doctor's, medical staff, family, friends and strangers of

Update 8/8/01
Hi, I was just going to
write you. Joey suddenly got a deep impression that going into surgery the next morning
would not be good. He had had oral surgery a few days before that and the dentist
said it would be OK, but the pain and some infection in the teeth roots was still present.
Joey was afraid the anesthesia may cause him some problems, he was not comfortable
thinking he would be in worse pain. He drove to the Dr's office and postponed the surgery.
God definitely took over. He will have the surgery in two weeks. He is still very
nervous. There is much pain. The problems also are contributed by the fact
that the radiation burned his throat so badly, the skin never healed. He has two openings
... one for the trachea and the other is a hole about a half inch above the trachea, that
will not heal. The skin is burned out and too thin, he must hold both openings just to
help talk. He sounds horrible. Many of us cannot understand him at all. He is
so disillusioned by now, hanging on by a thread. Yet he keeps working. I do believe
God gave us more time, and Himself more time to work with Joey, through this delay!! Thank

Update 9/22/01
Hi Darling Charlotte: Joey is in Ohio with his mother. He is ill. They found an
abscess in his stomach, which is a hard lump. He has a food tube in that same area,
for liquids. He is to go to NYC to speak with a surgeon concerning the holes in his throat
and for the greatest hope, a way to have a throat transplant to remove all the built up
scar tissue, which closes his throat. The plastic surgery will close one damaged area
where the radiation from years back, caused one of the holes. He is very depressed.
There seems to be no way doctors can help him. He wants to be well. He
wants to eat normally and talk normally. With no trachea tube, no feeding tube, no
fevers, no abscesses, no infections, and no pain. When he comes home, he will have to
return to work to help pay for this trip. May God please be merciful to Joey and
cause a healing to take place, if even little by little. Bless you Charlotte for your

Update12/4/01
Charlotte: Joey is not doing well. He now has pneumonia again. He gets it
every few months. He is filled with many pain pills and it has caused him to become
dependent upon them. Yet, he talks about God with great favor. He wants life to
change for him. He wants to eat by mouth and
swallow. He wants to smell food and fragrances. He cannot do this. For now,
while he must be fed thru the stomach, this is the best, because it helps him overcome the
craving for food, when he cannot smell, as long as he breathes thru the trachea tube
in his throat. No one really knows what happens to a person in this condition. One day, in the parking lot at work, his food tube came out and all the fluid in his
stomach came out all over his suit and pants. He was so embarrassed. He had to
turn around, go past all the others coming in, and rush to his car. He had to go
home and back to the dr. to reinsert the tube. Please continue to send prayer
requests for him. He has come a long way, now praying to God almost every day. He
wants to go home for Christmas and I pray he will be well enough to do that. Thank
you my darling friend, for caring and asking about him. He is getting so depressed.

Hi Charlotte:
Joey made an appt to speak with a
pastor (first time) since being a kid. He is better physically, no more lung
congestion. But still on lots of pain pills. The biggest miracle is that this entire
long incident over the Christmas holidays, has been used by God to bring him to God. Joey
wants to quit work. He asks, "Why is it that when I do more praying than I ever have,
and turn my heart to God, more things go wrong than before?" His health, his
supervisor/friend was transferred and now Joey has a "new Pharoah" over him, who
couldn't care less about Joey's health. Then a charge out of the blue came from a creepy
girl accusing him of harassment and the board of review would not even listen to the
circumstances. They just wrote him up without letting him protest. Here, I think, is the
beginning of satan's war on a new believer. We hate to mention it to those coming to
God, for fear they will faint under the news. But it came real fast in Joey's life.
He is still hoping for a throat transplant this year in NY. He wants me to come with
him. But he knows this will be a hit or miss situation. And he might not have
the ability to recuperate after the operation. He just wants to eat like normal
people do, and taste food again. He wants to quit work now and go on soc. sec. disability,
but knows he might just get depressed even more without anything to do. So he plugs
along, no matter how ill he feels. He gets no sleep. Went five days without it. Joey has
to get off the pain pills. He is on those that 60 Min. talked about, (or 20/20)...
the Oxycontin. They were never marketed as being addictive. Joey needs prayers
still. He has a big chapter to face in his life yet. God bless you Charlotte.

Gilbert and Cynette to you in prayer. They are brother and sister and the
choices they are making in their lives at this time are not good ones. Gilbert is dating a
Witch, he was attending Church and was a Youth Leader in the Church and that has came to a
halt. Cynette may have returned to her old life style of drinking and drugs. She will not
talk to her mother Carol on the phone or visit with her, this leaves Carol to believe that
all of the signs are there. Lord I ask that you wrap Gilbert in your arms of love. I
ask that you draw him close to you. I ask that you place a hedge of protection
around him and free them from the schemes of the evil one. It seems that Satan is prowling
around in full force as he has pulled Gilbert away from the Church and placed him with a
witch. I ask that you remove Gilbert from the presence of this woman and I ask that you
place the scripture in his mind that he is to be equally yoked and point out to him that
he is of light and she of darkness. I ask that you open his mind to see that he does not
belong with her. I ask that you place a desire in him to return to Church and to his
ministry as Youth Leader. I ask that you place a desire in his heart to witness the Good
News of Christ to the woman who practices witch craft. I ask that you open her heart to
feel, open her ears to hear and open her eyes to see the wonderful love of Christ. I pray
for her salvation. I ask that you wrap Cynette in your arms of love. I ask that you draw
her close to you. I ask that you remove the desires for drugs and alcohol from her and
replace desire with will power to turn away from them. I ask that you open her eyes to see

little baby is only four weeks old. She is running a high fever and the doctors do not
know why. She is in the hospital tonight awaiting more tests. Her parents are so

Shelby is at home now and doing fine. She had a virus and at her age it was so
scary when the doctors did not know what was causing her fever. I want to say Thank you to
all those who prayed for my sweet little Shelby while she was in the hospital.
Also want to give a great big Thank You to our Heavenly Father above who gave my baby the
healing she needed. Also want to thank Him as Dakota, her brother, age 3, was
running fever last night like he was going to catch the virus she had and now he is all
back to normal. Thank you Father for such a quick healing in my babies, Shelby and

miracle for this young man. They are standing firm in their belief that You can and do

prayer. She is having trouble breathing and has had to sit up all night because when she
lays down she says she stops breathing. Lord I ask that you wrap Sher in your arms of

to come through a doctor I ask that you place her with one who can find out the cause of

Thank you, more than words can say, for your prayer for my healing! My breathing
is better, much better, but I still need prayer for healing, please, please continue
to pray. I do have sleep apnea and heart failure. I have a doctor's appointment
today, he hasn't been much help in the past..I need to change doctor's but don't
know of one who is any better, yet. I do have a by-pap machine but am not able
to use it as it causes further breathing problems. It is so frightening to not

she has bone spurs on her left heal and also a tumor in her left thumb. She is scheduled

cancer count has been done a few times and each time it has risen. She had a cat scan done
on her lung and it showed a very small spot, the doctors aren't sure what it is as yet.
She also had a needle biopsy done on her breast and it showed positive for cancer. She is
scheduled to see a lung specialist this coming Thursday, August 2nd. Lord I ask that you
wrap Pauline in your arms of love. I ask that you draw her close to you. I ask that you
give her comfort in knowing that you are with her each step of the way. I ask that you
cover her with your healing power from above. I ask that she be given a GOOD REPORT
concerning the spot found on her lung, I ask that if another scan is to be done that the
doctor will find that spot completely gone, removed by your healing hand. I ask that the
report given on her breast biopsy prove to be inaccurate for cancer, again done by your

I SPOKE WITH PAULINE TODAY. SHE IS SCHEDULED FOR SURGERY TOMORROW, TUESDAY, AUGUST 14TH.
THE SURGEON WILL REMOVE THE SPOT FROM HER LUNG, IT WILL BE SENT OUT TO PATHOLOGY
IMMEDIATELY AFTER REMOVAL FOR BIOPSY. IF CANCER IS FOUND THE SURGEON WILL PROCEED IN
REMOVING THE DISEASED LUNG. PLEASE CONTINUE IN PRAYER THAT A GOOD REPORT BE GIVEN, NO

8/18/01 Update
Pauline had her surgery as scheduled. The spot was found to be cancerous and the surgeon
removed part of her lung. He feels that he got all of the cancer. She will be scheduled to
have surgery on her breast in a few more weeks. She was released from the hospital

I saw Paulene at church, she looks very good and she is Praising The Lord for a speedy
recovery. She is scheduled tomorrow, Sept.18th as an out patient for breast surgery.

I spoke with Paulene at Church this past Sunday. She had been having some shortness of
breath which prompted her to see her doctor. He ordered a chest x-ray and found a nodule
in the area where she had the lung removed. He feels it's scar tissue but to rule out
anything of a serious nature he has scheduled her to have a cat scan Thursday, February
21st. Please keep in prayer, as she says she is in God's hands. Thank you, In Christ

Heavenly Father I lift up Tracy to you in
prayer. Her husband Jim has left their marriage and she feels as if she is being punished.
She says that she is in so much mental pain that her thoughts are consumed with her
husband. She hates having things like what is he doing, who is he doing it with, is he
thinking about me, is he depressed, does he miss me, etc., racing through her mind
constantly. She expresses that she has no friends to talk with about this problem, only
her sister who tells her that Jim is no good and to let go of him. She is very depressed
and expresses a desire to commit suicide. She states that she can't hold on too much
longer, she says that she is too weak to deal with the mental and physical pain that has
come into her life. She is thirty-eight years old, a diabetic and now another problem with
her health, her heart, she has been having chest pains. Lord I ask that you wrap Tracy in
your arms of love. I ask that you draw her close to you. I ask that you give comfort to
her and remove the physical and mental pain that she is going through. I ask that you
cover her with your healing power from above. I ask that you remove the thought of suicide
from her mind and replace it with a desire to live. I ask that you bring happiness into
her life. I ask that you place a hedge of protection around her and protect her from the
evil one who is filling her mind with thoughts of suicide. I ask that you place a desire
in Jim's heart to do all that he can to save their marriage. I ask that you place
Christians in his path who will share the Good News of Christ with him. Christians who are
equipped with your word, who can point out scriptures that pertain to marriage. If he and
Tracy have not accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior, I pray for salvation. I ask that
you open their ears to hear, open their eyes to see and open their hearts to feel the
wonderful love of Christ. I ask that you see Tracy through this stressful time in her
life. I ask that you walk with her every step of the way and bring healing to her both

TO EVERYONE WHO Has Been Praying For Me, Hello, I am writing everyone that has
taken the time and prayed for me. The responses have been overwhelming, I have gotten way
over 500 e-mails and have been Instant Messaged off the screen WOW. I never expected this
in a million years all I can say is God Bless you all and keep you. You will all be in my
prayers. I still am depressed and all is basically the same. All I can say is Satan is
doing a job on me, if you can pray for the hedge of protection I will be grateful. I have
more Internet friends than I know what to do with now and I will send updates as and if

Update 9/22/01
Thank you for asking about Joe. He is doing better each day it seems. We found a doctor
(after going through nine!) that we feel is really helping him. He feels like his cancer
is really Crohn's disease. Crohn's disease is a kind of carcinoma, but it can be treated
with diet and whole food nutrients (which can only be prescribed by drs). It has been
amazing to watch Joe's life come back into him. We still need much prayer though. I
especially do too as I just left my life for about 2 months and you can imagine the bills,
etc. God knows and is providing though. Mainly we are just praising God every day for
Joe's increased health. Thank you, Lynn

growth. She has to have radiation but is afraid that she might have to have chemotherapy
as well. She is scheduled to see an Oncologist on Wednesday, July 25th. She is feeling

Dolly's nephew to you in prayer. He scratched his hand on a bird feeder,
within three hours he was rushed to the hospital then transferred to another. Immediate
surgery was done opening up his arm on the front and back from the shoulder to the wrist,
also from the shoulder to waist on his chest. The doctors said that he has a rare
bacterial infection. He is in critical condition and may lose his arm. Lord I ask that you
wrap Dolly's nephew in your arms of love. I ask that you cover him with your healing power

that there be no need to amputate his arm. I ask that you remove all infection and bring

Update on Troy. Yesterday he was transported to Peoria so they could put him in a
bubble, since they found that the Bacterial Infection dies when it hits air...
Surprisingly it worked!!! He then will be taken back to Springfield to do skin grafts to
the dead tissue it destroyed... Please keep the prayers coming, as they are indeed

Troy is doing better,
he is fighting depression because of all that he has to do to get better now, he is going
through therapy on his arm and they are hoping he will regain the use of it... it will be
a long process and the scars are pretty bad... We keep telling him that FAITH will make it

Brother-in-law Hampton doing better. His wife's email read, Hampton serious shape
pneumonia, I assumed he was in the hospital but the doctor said he would be better off at
home where his wife could look after him. I called Rose last night she said he was given a
strong injection of an antibiotic. Fever coming down and he is feeling better. Thank you

Krista to you in prayer. She needs open heart surgery to repair two holes in
her heart. Her heart is presently in a state of working overtime and it's burning off all
of the formula that she drinks. She is losing weight and needs to gain at least two pounds
before they can operate. Her weight stands now at just over seven pounds. She has been
admitted to Stony Brook University Hospital to try and bring her weight up. Krista's
grandfather died the day after he heard the baby needed surgery. He was only fifty-eight
years old and recently had triple by pass surgery. The family is going through a very
difficult time. Lord I ask that you wrap Krista in your arms of love. This precious little
child is only two weeks old. I ask that you cover her with your healing power from above.

Update 7/23/01
I want to thank all of you for your prayers the operation was a big success, I came
home Sunday and I am doing fine. I had three blocked arteries, one was blocked 99% and the
other two were blocked 95%. They were very concerned about them being blocked that much of
a percentage, but I knew the Lord was with me in that operating room. When the doctor had
finished and every thing went well, it was like someone had won the lottery. Even the
doctor was tickled as much as me, when he showed me the difference in the pictures he got
of my heart before they took me to my room. Laying there knowing I couldn't moved
and had to lay flat for 8 hours. I took his hands and kissed them because I knew Jesus was
in the operating room and working through him to fix me to use me in his ministry in some
way more than I'm doing now. I'm sending you a poem and a devotion for kindness and
for your prayers, God's Blessings To You all Amen.

Ronald was released from the hospital today. I spoke with him tonight, said he is

I visited
with my brother in Ohio recently, he is not well. During the time we were there paramedics
were called to his home as a result of a very low blood sugar count. He continues to have
complications brought on from forty-four years of having diabetes. Please continue in

has now been placed on blood pressure medication and is not able to deal with the
difficulty in caring for a teenager, she loves Sarah but due to health reasons cannot
allow her to come back to live with her. I ask that you wrap Amelia in your arms of love.
I ask that you bring down her pressure within a normal range. I ask that you keep her free
from any side effects that the medication can sometimes cause. I ask that you relieve her
from the stress that she is burdened down with. I ask that you bring joy and happiness

has been going for Christian counseling. The counselor informed her last night that he is
going to start charging her if she calls him for anything that is over ten minutes. He
also doesn't want to talk with her other than in session, not even to say hello. She
is feeling very unloved and she is contemplating suicide. Lord I ask that you wrap Deborah
in your arms of love. I ask that you draw her close to you. I ask that you place a desire
in her heart to want life and to live life to it's fullest. I ask that you remove all
thoughts of suicide from her mind. I ask that you give comfort to her and fill her with
your joy. I ask that you place Christians in her path who will reach out in love toward
her, Christians who are caring and loving, who will be there for her in times of need. I

Hi, I wanted to let you know that Mom goes into the hospital on Tuesday, July 24th of
this week. She will be having her first back surgery at 9:30 AM that morning. The doctor
is planning to put a steel rod in her back to help straighten out a curve due to
scoliosis. Also, she has osteo-arthritis in her back as well. She will be having the
second surgery on Friday. PLEASE, pray that these will be successful and she will pull
through OK. Please pray for a peaceful healing as well. She still has a lot to do and
needs to build herself back up day by day. Thank you all so very much as it means a lot to

Hi, Things went well
today for Mom. She went in on schedule and came out on schedule. The bottom of her
vertebrae was curved a little and they had to maneuver things so they could get the discs
in her back. They got everything squared away and when I left, she was in recovery. She is
in St. Frances Hospital in the Intensive Care Unit. They are going to put the rod in her
back on Friday. They are looking at her coming home sometime next week. PLEASE continue to
keep her in prayer and I will keep everyone posted as things progress. When I left she was
doing really well. It means a LOT that you are praying for her. Have a good evening.

Hi everyone! I wanted to let you know that Mom had her final surgery today. It took from
8:00 this morning to 6:30 this evening. The rod is in her back and in place. They were
able to get the curve on the spine straight and fit onto the rod. She is in ICU tonight
and hopefully will go to the physical therapy floor tomorrow sometime. I will keep
everyone posted and I appreciate the prayers so very much as it means a lot to myself and
family knowing that we have so many who are praying for her. Thanks again and will talk to

Hi, Mom is still on the 7th floor and has not made it down to the 4th floor which
is the rehab floor. She is getting better, however, she is still in a lot of pain and gets
nauseated. Please continue to pray for her and her healing. Pray for comfort to come to
her. Thank you so much for the prayers earlier. We really do appreciate all of the prayers
that you have brought to us and her. Also, I have a couple of requests for myself. For a
few months now, I have had three desires of the heart and have been praying for them. They
all tie in with GOD'S plan and I feel the prayers being answered. However, I also know
that the final answer will come in his timing. Please stand in agreement with me on these.
I do not ask for much at all. GOD knows that all three will aid in getting his work
accomplished. Please pray for these to come to pass and for me to be patient. Also, please
pray for a reconciliation and peace with a friend who is angry with me and another
involved who is agnostic. If the LORD wishes for us to part company, then that will
happen. However, I just do not want to part on bad terms with anyone. Please pray for

Hi, I went to see Mom today and after two days, she is doing so much better!!!!
She was moved to the rehab floor on Friday and they have her slowly walking with a walker.
Also, she is a lot more mobile than before. She is in pain but it doesn't seem as bad as
it was. The nurse on the floor is wonderful and will be good for Mom during her recovery.
PRAISE GOD! Thank you so much for praying and PLEASE keep praying. She also appreciates
the prayers as well. I still have no idea when she will be released. We will not be
allowed to visit except from 4 to 8 PM ONLY!!! They say this is good for them during their
recovery so they can gain their independence back etc. Thank you all again and will keep

Hi everyone, I just found out at 3:00 AM, that my mother is going back into surgery this
morning. For starters, infection has set in where she had the surgery, also an x-ray,
revealed a mass in the area as well. They have to go in this morning and check this out.
PLEASE!! PLEASE pray that she is OK. Cancer runs in my family and this is scaring me.

Hi, Mom had surgery yesterday and is doing OK. They got the infection out of her back and
the mass they think is a nodule. PRAISE GOD!!!! She still has some pain, however, she
looked 200% better yesterday and said she felt a lot better. Please continue to pray for

Hi, Mom had her final surgery yesterday. They got the rest of the bacteria out for the
most part. She will be taking antibiotics from here on out for this. Also, she walked from
room 733 to 729. She is coming around again!!! PTL!!! Also, pray for a friend in his early
50's. He recently lost his job. His wife is working but they have two daughters in college
at this time. Please pray that this man finds work as he continues to support his family.
He is a good, Christian man and his wife is a good woman. Her income alone cannot carry

Hi, Mom is now home and is improving, however she still has trouble keeping solid foods
down. PRAISE THE LORD that she is improving and thanks for all of the prayers!!! PLEASE
continue to pray for her. Her name is Sandra McKinney. My dad, Jim McKinney, has very
swollen feet, it is painful for him to walk or even stand. He is really scaring me with
this, however, he insist on going to Church which is a good thing in a sense, but at the
same time, he needs to take care of himself. PLEASE pray that he will try to heal as well.
I am just really worried about him. I have talked to them about using alternatives to
medications but neither will listen, so, we have to keep praying. PLEASE keep them in your

Hi, Mom and dad are BOTH getting well!!! Dad's swelling has gone down a great deal and he
is actually walking somewhat normal now. He is on medications to help him, his potassium
was messed up and he was taking in too much salt and not enough water. Mom, is not in as
much pain and is getting up more. She still needs assistance but I see her strength coming
back. My friend who lost his job last week just found another one a couple of days ago!!!
He will be working in the same community doing the same type of work as before. Colleagues
at this job heard of his situation and they needed another man!!! So, he should be
starting soon. The family has asked me to thank you for the prayers in this situation. GOD
IS SO GOOD!!! Finally, please pray for a young man who doesn't know GOD. He is agnostic
and I am trying to help him by talking to him via email. Please pray for his salvation and
for the right words for me to say to him to bring him to CHRIST. Thank you all so much for

Update 9/20/01
Hi, Dad had surgery today and is doing fine. They found a tumor on the adrenal gland
wrapped around his spleen. They had to remove the spleen and part of his pancreas. Also,
they got the tumor. It will take a couple of weeks before they get the results of the
tumor as to whether it is benign or not. However, they do not think it is as there is no
indication of cancer in him. Thanks for the prayers and please continue to pray. Today Mom
was removed from receiving daily antibiotics via intravenously and she is showing
improvement. Thanks so much for the prayers and thoughts etc. Please continue to pray and

Hi, My Dad had a liver biopsy this morning. They had found a couple of places on his liver
in a cat scan. There is no liquid in them. NOW, they are talking possible tumors and chemo
and radiation. This is really scaring me. Please keep us in prayer. The results come back

Hi, Dad got the results back from the liver biopsy today. It was viewed by four
Pathologists who saw a lot of puss and gunk in there. However, they thought they saw some
malignant cells but were not sure. They did not have enough info to go on at this point
and are seeing this as an abscess. They said that if it was cancer, it was treatable but
not curable. He is having another cat scan today to see what they can find out. Please

bleeding and was bleeding in his stomach. He was given two pints of blood and will be

Hi, Well.....they got dad stabilized and found two ulcers on his stomach. The bleeding

Hi, I wanted to let you all know that my father, James McKinney, passed away this morning
at 6:30 AM. He left peacefully and is with the LORD now. He is no longer suffering. As of
now, we are looking at the Memorial service at 2:30 PM on Saturday at Covenant
Presbyterian Church and a visitation afterwards. This is also a "party" as that
is what he requested. PLEASE keep us in thought, prayer etc. Thanks so much for the

done Wednesday, July 18th. I don't know the details of her illness, but then I don't need
to know what her illness is or what test is being done for her. All that is required of me
is just that I come before You and ask that she get a good report. Rose Mary's son Danny
and his wife Joann are Christians but they are not attending Church and Rose Mary is
trying to encourage them to attend. Her daughter Rachelle Ann is also a Christian, but
needs to become more stable in her walk with you. She is a divorced Mom and has children.
Lord I ask that you warp Rose Mary in your arms of love. I ask that you draw her close to
you. I ask that she get a Good Report on the medical test that she is having done on
Wednesday. I ask for complete healing where healing is needed. I ask that you give her

I just spoke with Julia over the phone and prayed with her. She said that eight out of the
ten nodes removed were cancerous. She also had an ovary removed as it was diseased. She

I spoke with Julia she said the chemo treatments are going well, she has good days and bad

according to her doctors, she is in the next to the last stage in her battle with this

the treatment that she currently has. The doctors say she has anywhere from six months to
two years left. There are times when she is in severe pain and breathing is very

Hi! This is Jackie, the person who originally requested the healing for Ida, who is my
cousin in Florida. I live in California and financial and family circumstances of my own
do not permit me to travel to her side to give her aid. All I can do is give her moral
support over the Internet, send letters and small gifts by mail, and occasionally talk to
her long distance by phone. Of course, I also try to help her by praying for her. I have
also contacted many healing ministries and prayer circles over the Internet to ask that
others join me in prayer for Ida and her family. You were one of the sites I contacted for
help. Thank you so much for being so caring and helpful. Ida is entering the third and
final stage of cancer. Her insurance is also expiring soon (January is the last month). I
know God will help her and that he loves her very much, just as I do. Thank you for
being so sweet and asking about her. Sick people need extra encouragement, love and
prayers. I know that was what you were trying to do when you sent the e-mail to me by
mistake. I can tell that you are a kind and loving person. I sense, from reading between
the lines on my communications with her, that Ida's health has been declining even more
lately. She tries so hard not to dwell on her illness or complain, but I have tried to
encourage her to let me be the one she can tell anything to, good or bad, so that I can
try to help and understand and at least offer her a little comfort from a distance. Her
own immediate family is having trouble coping with her impending death, and she does not
want to add to their pain and suffering by letting them know she hurts or that she is
frightened. Lately she has admitted that she has terrible pain that wakes her from her
sleep, and she becomes very frightened because she can't breathe. To make matters worse,
she is constantly worried because she has so many family problems. I know the stress is
probably causing her pain to intensify. She is needed by so many people around her, and
she fights the cancer every day so she can remain with her family. She's a wonderful
person, a regular "earth angel," who cares so much about others that she puts
their well being above her own. Please keep praying for her as I am doing. I know that God

Update 9/23/01
Hello, Ida has been having trouble with the regulation of her pain medication by her
hospice doctor. She had been vomiting a lot in reaction to her stronger pain medications.
The doctor recently changed the combination and dosage of drugs he has been giving her and
we are hopeful that this may help Ida to feel better. She is still in pain and the doctor
has informed Ida's husband that Ida has only two to three months to live. Ida is also
fighting depression and the doctor has begun to give her medication to help her with
this. The situation with Ida's family problems seems to be getting better. The family
no longer seems in such denial of her condition. They appear to be treating Ida with more
consideration and caring than they have done in the past. Ida has also been lucky enough
to receive the help of a neighboring Christian church whose members have decided to come
in and check on Ida and help her with simple household chores. Thank you so much for your
kindness and concern for Ida. I am sorry I have not kept you updated, but I have written
to so many different sources asking for prayers that I have lost contact with some of
them. I have also been going through a very stressful period with my own family. I
would appreciate it if you would continue to remember Ida in your prayers. God bless you.

12/4 Update
Dear Charlotte, Ida is still very ill. In August Ida's doctor told her
husband that she probably wouldn't make it longer than three more months. However, Ida is
still with us and is fighting for life every day. Lately she has been having heart
problems too. Her heart rate is very high and her blood pressure very low. She is now on
medication for these factors along with pain medication. Ida also has developed a
stubborn fever that lingers on and is on antibiotics to try to control it. Ida's
breathing has also grown more labored and she has been put on a nebulizer machine with
albuterol in it to help with the wheezing. She also takes oxygen. One good thing is that
her vomiting has eased up, and she is not as troubled by the terrible nausea that bothered
her so badly over the summer. Please continue to pray for Ida and her family. Her husband
and sons are really having a hard time coming to terms with Ida's illness. There are a lot
of family problems. I really appreciate all of your caring and loving prayers for Ida. You
are one of the few who keep praying for her and show continued interest by asking for

Dear Charlotte, Ida went into a coma and died last night. Thank you for your prayers. I do

as possible for as long as she could. She loved life and was a kind and unselfish person.

family of Karen Fitzpatrick, eighteen years old. She had just completed Forest Service
firefighter training last month. She'd already fought three or four fires for the Naches
Ranger District. Her father, John Fitzpatrick, says she was musical director in their
church and had a beautiful voice. He says he and his daughter became born-again Christians
last year. Devin Weaver, twenty-one years old was native of Yakima. His father, Ken
Weaver, says he was fighting his first fire when he was killed, and loved what he was
doing. Devin used to help his father at their family owned flower shop in Yakima. He
finished two years at Yakima Valley College and was planning to enter the University of
Washington in the fall, hoping for a career in engineering or high tech. Jessica Johnson,
nineteen years old, was a student at Central Washington University in Ellensburg. She had
graduated from West Valley High School in Yakima in 1999. She was a volunteer,
working with the West Valley Fire Department. She finished training with the Forest
Service a couple of weeks ago. Tom Craven of Ellensburg, thirty years old had a wife
Evelyn and two children. He worked as a firefighter for twelve years. He was raised in the
Roslyn area and played football for Central Washington University in Ellensburg. These
brave men and women sacrificed their life to save others. Lord I ask that you wrap the
families of these brave firefighters in your arms of love. I ask that you give comfort to
them and draw each one close to you. I ask that you give them strength to face each day
without their loved one. I ask that you keep forever fresh the memories of their loved one

Father I lift up my son Glenn to you in prayer. He had an accident in work
last week which resulted in losing a cap from his front tooth, as well as leaving two
other teeth loose. The dentist placed the cap back in place but said the other two teeth
may require root canals. Lord I thank you that this is the only injury that he sustained
considering that he fell face first onto a concrete floor. When I ask him what the dentist
said, he stated that when she told him that two root canals may be needed, she told him to
pray about it. That was the best advice that he could have heard. Lord I ask that you wrap
my son in your arms of love. I ask that you draw him close to you. I ask that you heal his
teeth completely and that no root canals will be needed. I ask that you place a desire in
his heart to know you and to accept Jesus as his Lord and Savior. I ask that you place a
hedge of protection around him and keep him safe as he travels to and from work, as he
travels 50 miles one way each day. There are many churches in the area where he and his
fiancée and son live, I ask that you place a desire in them to attend one. I ask that you
lead them to one that will teach them your word. I pray for their salvation. I pray for my

Glenn came by this morning after having a cat scan done on his head. He is scheduled
to see the doctor tomorrow for the results. He had been complaining of dizziness since his
fall and the specialist that his company sent him to thought it best to send him for a

7/30 Update
Glenn's cat scan showed that he has a concussion. The doctor said it will take
about three to four months to heal. Last week he and his fiancée Dot broke up, her
choice. He will be filing for rights to see his son. She only wants to give him every
other weekend and that would hurt Glenn very much as he loves Justin and he is a wonderful
father. Please pray that the Lord will touch Dot's heart and soften her heart as she is a
very controlling person. Pray also that he will be able to find an apartment that will be
affordable for his salary, and that his needs will be met financially to cover child
support, rent, bills and food. Please keep them both in prayer for salvation as they need
to place God in their lives.

lift up the families of the three service men who were killed in a
helicopter accident. They were enlisted in the Marine Corp. stationed in North Carolina.
The pilot and co-pilot got out safely. Lord I ask that you wrap each family in your arms

Heavenly Father lift up
the family of William Gant (Josh to most of those who knew him) to you in
prayer. This young man only twenty-one years old took his life at the local football
field, he inflicted a fatal gunshot wound to his body. Josh was found in the end zone near
a gold post. He was a former football player for the Golden Bears which he loved so much.
His body was found by a young friend and football player who went to the field house to
lift weights. Josh's dad also committed suicide. Lord so much tragedy for a family to have
to endure, the loss of loved ones from suicide. I know of the pain that they feel for
three young lives were taken by suicide in my family as well. Lord I ask that you wrap
Cheryl in your precious arms of love. She now has to endure more pain in her life due to
the loss of her son. I ask that you give comfort to her and draw her close to you. I ask
that you give comfort to the young man who found Josh as I know that he has to be going
through a difficult time as well, as I remember my nephew who found his brother and the
pain and heartache that he too felt. I ask that you give comfort to each friend and family
member and draw them close to you. I pray that as they see the pain that has been brought
upon this family from suicide that they will never consider this as a way out. I pray for
the salvation of those who have not accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior. I pray for
Cheryl Lord that you will give her strength to get through the loss of her son. I ask in

Rev. Johanne Christian to you in prayer. He was in an accident. I don't know
the details of what happened or of the extent of his injuries. Lord I ask that you wrap

Joseph to you in prayer. He is in a bind financially and needs help. He has
a wife and two children that can be hurt terribly for the mistakes that he has made. He
has considered suicide but has realized that would only destroy his family. Lord I don't
know the circumstances that have led up to putting Joseph into a financial bind, but you
who are all knowing, know what has caused so many problems in his life. I ask that you
provide the help that he needs to get himself back on his feet again. I ask that you draw
him close to you. If he has not accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior I ask that you send
Christians in his path who will share the Good News Of Christ with him. I ask that you
place a desire in his heart to seek help for any problem that he may have that has led up
to his loss of finances. I ask that the love that he has for his wife and children stop
him from making the same mistakes in his life once he is straightened out. If help is to
come through getting a second job I ask that one be provided. I ask in the name of Jesus.

received a phone call from my niece, my brother Buck has been admitted to
the hospital diagnosed with double pneumonia. He is feeling very weak and not able to talk
very much right now. Lord I ask that you wrap Buck in your arms of love. I ask that you

having. I ask that you bring him safely through, completely healed. I ask that you place a

Heavenly Father I lift up
Lealon Owens to you in prayer. He is in critical condition with cancer of
the bones and spine. He told his sister last night that he hurts so bad he
thinks he will have a nervous break-down. One or two people sit on his bed and rub
his feet, arms etc to try to bring a little relief for him. A few nights ago he was
screaming in pain so bad that he could be heard throughout his home. His wife Jewel cries
often and feels helpless, she wants so very much to help ease his discomfort and pain.
Lord I ask that you wrap Lealon in your arms of love. I ask that you draw him close to
you. I ask that you remove any pain and discomfort that he may be having. The doctors have
done for him all that they can medically, therefore I come before your Heavenly Throne on
behalf of Lealon believing that through you all things are possible and I ask for
miraculous healing. I ask that he be a testimony to his doctor, family, friends and

Heavenly Father I lift up
Travis to you in prayer. Several weeks ago Travis became unable to keep
anything on his stomach. After several trips to the doctor, he finally went to the
emergency room, he was admitted to the hospital and test were ran. A hole was found in his
bowel and he went into surgery to have it repaired. During surgery, the surgeon
found an aneurysm in the aorta, the main artery going to his heart. They repaired it also.
The day after surgery he began running a high fever, more surgery was done, the surgeon
found that most of his intestines and colon were gangrenous and removed as much as he
could. He was stable for two days, then began having a very rapid heartbeat and his blood
pressure went up. He was rushed back into surgery and they removed his gallbladder, which
was also gangrenous. It had been fine the last time they went in. His doctor finally said
that he didn't know what else to do. He talked to a noted specialist at Emory University
Hospital in Atlanta. Travis was flown there that same evening. The latest development in
his condition is that he has developed blood clots and might lose one leg. His condition
has been listed as critical. Lord I ask that you wrap Travis in your arms of love. I ask
that you draw him close to you. I ask that you remove any pain and discomfort that he may
be having. He has been through so much in just a short time and I thank you for bringing
him through each surgery. I come before your Heavenly Throne on behalf of Travis,
believing that through you all things are possible and I ask that you remove the blood
clots that have formed in his leg and that no more surgery be needed. I ask that you bring
him through completely healed and free of complications. I ask that you give strength to
his weakened body and I ask that he have a speedy recovery. If he has not accepted Jesus

Milly, Juanita and their families to you in prayer. They will be traveling
tomorrow from about 6:00 or 7:00 AM until 2:00 or 3:00 PM, they will be traveling to
Chicago to attend their former church's Super Summer Time annual event. They will be
staying for about eight to ten days. Lord I ask that you wrap them in your arms of love. I
ask that you draw each one close to you and place a hedge of protection around them and
give them safe arrival there and back. I ask that they have a wonderful and joyous time

lift up Tony to you in prayer. This precious child is only eleven months
old. He had to be taken to the hospital due to running a fever of 106 degrees. He was
admitted, blood work was done on him and the family is awaiting the results. Lord I ask
that you wrap this precious child in your arms of love. I ask that you surround him with
your love and let him feel your comforting presence. I ask that you give comfort to him
and remove any pain and discomfort that he may be having. I ask that you restore his
temperature back to the normal range and that nothing of a serious nature be found. I ask

Hi Charlotte, My sister is having some rough times. She had to have a colostomy and
is having a hard time dealing with that. She did have colon cancer. They do think
they caught it in time from spreading. She will be watched very carefully from now
on. I thank everyone for all their prayers. She will do ok just will take sometime

home from work last Saturday she started getting double vision. She pulled her car over to
the side of the road and cell phoned her husband, she was taken to the hospital. She was
diagnosed with a large tumor on her brain. The hospital sent her home due to having no
health insurance. Her next doctor appointment has been scheduled several days from now.
Lord I ask that you wrap Melissa in your arms of love. I ask that you draw her close to
you. I ask that you remove any pain and discomfort that she may be having. I ask
that provisions be made for her financially to have the proper care that she needs
medically. I ask that you cover her with your healing power from above. I ask that you
place her in the care of a doctor who will help her even though she doesn't have medical
