As I sit here in my cabin,
The snow outside falls softly to the ground.
It covers the trees and the mountains,
Spreading beauty all around.
                                         
I sit here by the fireplace,
With my head bowed down in prayer.
Reminiscing back to the days of old,
As I sit here in my chair.

Lord I thank you for the family gatherings,
That were held here in this place.
I thank you for my family,
I thank you for your grace.


I thank you for this little cabin,
That I call my home.
I thank you for the little animals,
So I don't have to be alone.

I thank you for the wintry beauty,
That has fallen upon this land.
The beautiful white and fluffy snow,
Created by your hands.

I thank you for the quiet,
And the calmness of the night.
And for the moon and stars,
That provide a lovely light.
