Dear fellow Americans I send this
message to you,
Lay down your banners of protest
 and pray for the red, white and blue.
Pray for our military who are at war
to protect our land,
Rise up and salute them, every
woman and every man.

Pray for our brave heroes one and all,
I know that they stand proud and tall.
Proud to live in a country where they are free,
Proud to protect it for you and for me

They have been placed to bring down
the regime of an evil man,
Who seeks to unleash chemical
and biological warfare upon our land.
Pray that the war will soon come to an end,
And we can be at peace once again.

Lord watch over our military as they
lie down at night,
Give them peaceful slumber until
the morning light.
Give them strength to get through
 each day,
Place a hedge of protection around them
and guide their way.

Lead them to safe haven from the
enemy who seeks to destroy their life,
Help them through these times of troubles
and strife.
Wrap them gently in your arms
 of love,
Send guardian angels to surround them
 from above.

In times when they feel distress and fear,
Let them feel your presence near.
Lord we love them and we lift them up to you,
We ask that you watch over them in
 all that they do.

Dear Lord please comfort the families
of the brave ones who have died
Let them feel your comforting presence
close by their side,
Hold the prisoners of war safe within
your arms,
Please protect them and keep them
from all harm.
