I ask that you give her peace that surpasses all understanding. Peace in knowing that she did not say good-bye to mom and Ted but until we meet again in God's eternal home where life shall never end. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Heavenly Father Lift up thirteen year old
Megan and her mother Julie to you in prayer. They are in the same hospital on different floors. They were in a horrible automobile accident. Julie's right leg, from the hip down to the toes, is crushed. She was in surgery yesterday. Megan's seat belt cut into her stomach and she was sitting in the car with her intestines in her hands.  The seat belt went through and severed the spine. Lord I ask that you wrap this precious daughter and mother in your arms of love. I ask that you draw them close to you. I ask that you cover them with your healing power from above. I ask that you comfort them and remove any pain and discomfort that they are feeling. I come before your Heavenly Throne on their behalf, believing that through you all things are possible and I ask that you bring them through all injuries, free from complications, completely healed. I ask that they be a testimony to the doctors, medical staff, family, friends and strangers of your healing power and of the power of prayer. I pray that rejoicing will be heard throughout the hospital for their healing and that all GLORY, PRAISE and HONOR be given unto you. I ask that you comfort Dean the father of Megan, husband of Julie during this difficult time. I ask that you draw him close to you. If this family has not accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior I ask that you place Christians in their path to share the GOOD NEWS OF CHRIST with them. I ask that you open their ears to hear, open their eyes to see and open their hearts to feel your wonderful love.
I pray for salvation. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Heavenly Father I lift up Jerrilynn to you in prayer. She has been having an ongoing problem for quite some time with a couple from her small church. They are her friends, last year they had a falling out due to many circumstances that never got resolved. Whenever she sees them and as time passes, they are still carrying anger which was revealed recently. This is spilling over into the membership of the church. The pastor there has called for a private meeting with her and this couple.  In this meeting she wants to express her love for this couple and to let them know that she has forgotten all things and never wants them raised up for satan to use in further attacks. Lord I ask that your presence be felt by Jerrilynn in the meeting scheduled for Tuesday, April 6th. I ask that you fill her with calmness and peace that surpasses all understanding. I ask that you give her courage, wisdom, forgiveness and humbleness.  I ask that you remove all biases, hatred, bitterness evil and egos from all involved in this dispute. I ask that their words be spoken with gentleness. I ask that you bring them through this ongoing battle filled with love and forgiveness toward one another. I ask that all bitterness be left behind and that this matter never be brought up again. I ask that you open their hearts to remembrance that forgiveness is the key to loving one another. Remind them of the commandment that says Love one another as I have loved you. How can love come through without forgiveness. I ask that love prevail over all circumstances. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Thank you for placing him with my friend Jane for she is truly a wonderful mother to her three children. Jake will only eat pureed foods, therefore the doctor decided to have an X-ray taken to rule out any medical problem. This test will be done on April 21st. Lord I ask that you wrap Jake in your arms of love. I ask that you cover him with your healing power from above. I ask that you remove any fear that he may have during the X-ray and replace it with calmness.  I ask that nothing of a serious nature be found. Update 4/5/04
Your prayers are working!!!  Susan and Gary went to Sloan Kettering today and brought all of Caroline's test results.  They have a Neuroblastoma Team that has a lot of experience in this cancer and said they think they can operate on her. They also think that she only has 10% cancer in her bone marrow, which is very good for recovery.  She may not even need chemo.  They will bring her there on Monday and they will take some more tests (and also retest the bone marrow) and then discuss with them on Thursday how they will treat her. All in all they were given much hope.  Your prayers are working!!!. Thank the Lord!!  We are so thrilled to get some good news. Kathleen is coming again this weekend and they will keep Caroline in Westchester until Monday morning because they have already put in a catheter for her chemo.  Thank you everyone who has kept her in their thoughts and prayers. She's not out of the woods yet, but I don't think Susan and Gary could have handled anymore bad news.  We are all breathing easier.  Thank you again. Angela

Update 3/29/04
Dear Friend, I ask that you would continue to pray for my sister Geney.  Your prayer was so beautiful that I read it every day, sometimes twice a day.  Geney's condition; however, continues to be less than hoped for. Each time she struggles to regain the strength in her legs through rehabilitation exercises, a recurrent problem of an infection in one of her legs reoccurs and of course we both fear the unthinkable and unspeakable with regard to her leg.  I have walked with the Lord for more than fifty years and to this day, I can truly say that He has bought me through many difficult situations and He has never failed me yet, but this time we both are having such a hard time trying to keep the faith.  Thanks for the boost that we received from your prayer.  Please continue to pray for us that we may be strong and resist any thoughts of doubt and unbelief. May God bless you and yours! Geney's sister (Mickey)

Lord again I don't know the situation, but you do and that is all that matters.  I ask that you intervene with the situation between this mother and her son or daughter. Where there is bitterness over anything that may have caused this mother not to love her child I ask that you replace that bitterness with love. If this mother has let her son or daughter go all of these years without showing love I ask that you place a deep guilt upon her heart so strong that she will reach out and ask forgiveness. I ask that after all of these years they be brought together with love and forgiveness in their hearts. Heavenly Father I lift up  Dylan Galvan to you in prayer. He is eleven years old.  February 27th he fell out of a truck while it was moving.  He has been in the hospital in a deep sleep since that day.  Some surgery was done to relieve the pressure on his brain and probes were placed on his head to monitor the brain pressure, normal is 20 and he was spiking 26. This surgery is normally done as a last resort but his injuries were such that they felt it was needed right away. His mother was called yesterday, the doctors informed her that they had decided they need to wake him up.  They discontinued the medication that was keeping him sedated.  More X-rays were done of his head and they found two contusions, a hematoma, and that the brain had shifted. The probes were removed as they now know the readings they were getting were not reliable.  The doctors told his mother that they have done all that they can do for him medically and that his condition is critical. Lord I ask that you wrap this precious child in your arms of love. I ask that you cover him with your healing power from above.  I ask that you remove any pain and discomfort that he may be having. The doctors have done all that can be done for him medically, therefore I come before your Heavenly Throne on his behalf, believing that through you all things are possible and I ask for miraculously healing. I ask in the name of Jesus Amen.

Update 3/20/04
Family, friends, brothers and sisters in Christ, it is with rejoicing in my heart that I write today, praised be the Lord! I talked to Rose, Dylan's mom, last night.  Dylan has made some progress and she feels it's God working through the doctors and in answer to all your prayers.  She turned on the TV in Dylan's room to try to break the monotony of waiting, reading, working crossword puzzles, pacing the floor and what-have-you.  She says she prays a lot too but that doesn't bore her one bit!  Anyway, she stood by Dylan's bed to make sure the sound was not too loud.  Dylan opened his eyes!  She asked him if she knew who she was and to blink once for yes and twice for no; he blinked once!  She asked if she was his mom and he blinked once!  She asked if he wanted to watch TV, again one blink! Then she asked if he wanted to watch cartoons; one blink!  After watching for about seven minutes he fell asleep.  She kept the TV on the cartoon channel and each time he opened his eyes, he watched the TV.  The nurses have been giving him therapy to his legs and he makes faces because he doesn't like it, it's like he's saying, "Why are you doing this?  I can do it myself."  They had started feeding him intravenously as the doctors wanted his body to start functioning on its own.  She said Dylan held onto his dad, Jesse, when they were moving him around during therapy.  He can move his fingers and he can grasp at Jesse's arm.  The medication is being reduced gradually all the time until he is completely weaned from it all.  Then they plan to start giving him baby food as early as sometime next week.  Once his body adjusts to the baby food they will start giving him selected items of regular food. Rose was excited because he was able to stay off the respirator all day yesterday, breathing on his own.  She says Dylan is a very determined little fighter and knows in her heart that he will walk out of that hospital.  The doctors told her and Jesse that it is a miracle that Dylan has come around so much because they really didn't expect him to live.  What an awesome God we serve!  To Him be the glory!  His is the victory! Rose asked me to thank all of you for your faithful prayers and to ask you to keep the prayers going because they are working and Dylan is not out of the woods yet.  He has three doctors and they have all said it will be a slow and long process.  Rose says, "I know my son, and I know God.  Dylan will cut the process because he will be anxious to get out and start being a boy again!" Sorry if this is so long, I just had to share all of it with you.  Thank you and please keep praying.  And whether I have ever met you or not, I love you all and may God
In His Love, Hilda
Update 4/13/04
Family, friends, brothers and sisters in Christ, I am so elated!  It's small news but to me it's BIG! I just talked to my niece, Rose and she tells me that Dylan has finally decided to start responding.  He first started fluttering his eyes; then, when she was looking straight into his eyes, he opened them.  HE OPENED HIS EYES! and looked around the room, then he looked straight at her!  God is hearing us and answering our prayers!  The nurses were clearing his lungs every day and today he started coughing up the stuff on his own.  One of the doctors told her they would insert a tube in his tummy on Monday so they can start feeding him what they call "baby food" because he has had no food whatsoever and is now very skinny.  Needless to say I was thrilled to hear about Dylan.  I was doubly glad to hear Rose sounds like her old self.  She asked me to thank everyone, to let you know that your prayers are being answered and to KEEP PRAYING for Dylan's complete recovery.  She was so excited, she wanted to jump through cyberspace to hug each one individually and say "Thank you and God Bless you" for all your prayers. I'll update when we have MORE good news!  We do serve an awesome God! Loving you all through Him. Hilda
Update 4/1/04
I have a great PRAISE report! I just got off the telephone talking to Rose, Dillan's mom, and she tells me they took the "tube" out of Dillan's throat.  It left him with a very sore throat but he is glad to be rid of it. They did a tracheotomy - Dillan is breathing on his own 90% of the time and 10% with the aid of the ventilator.  The doctors all say he is doing great!  Dillan is frustrated because he is not able to do anything for himself yet.  He resents having his "diaper" changed, after all he is 11 years old!  Rose reassures him he will be able to take care of himself when he is better.  He keeps his eyes closed because of yesterday's sedation for the tracheotomy but is alert and can hear everything.  His Dad opened his eyes for him and pointed him to where Rose was standing and asked him if he knew who that was - Dillan nodded 'yes' and followed her with his eyes as she moved around. Dillan is communicating with nods or by squeezing his Mom's or Dad's hand!  Rose had been spending twelve to fourteen hours at the hospital every day but her doctor told her she needs to go back to a more normal life. So Monday night and Wednesday night she went to her part-time job for a couple of hours each night and will work Friday night for another two hours.  She is even talking about taking a day trip to San Antonio, Texas to see her Mom.  As long as Jesse (Dillan's Dad) stays with Dillan, there's no reason why Rose can't go about her normal life.  The Lord has worked many little miracles in Dillan and the doctors remind Rose every day how very fortunate she is to have family and friends praying for Dillan. Thank God for each one of you wonderful people!  Rose wants to thank you, all of you, for your prayers and asks that you continue praying because she can see what prayer can do.  Dillan's complete recuperation will be a slow process and he will need your continue prayers. For Jill from Canada - THANK YOU for the beautiful dog! Dillan received it at the hospital this morning and did see it when Jesse opened his eyes!  Rose will be writing to you soon herself.  Thank you, you made a little boy very happy!  God Bless! thanks to all of you for being so faithful in prayer for Dillan. KEEP Praying! God Bless each of you.  You will all be in my prayers forever, till we meet in Heaven!
Loving you through Him, Hilda
Update 4/15/05
Family, friends, and brothers and sisters in Christ, It is with joy in my heart that I provide this update.  I just talked to Rose and Dillan has been moved from the Hospital to the Physical Therapy & Rehab Center.  He is doing really well, praise the Lord!  Rose says he is receiving both physical and speech therapy. He sat in a wheel chair yesterday for one hour; today, he sat for an hour and a half.  He wanted to wheel around the hospital but he isn't allowed to do that just yet.  Once he gets a helmet he can be wheeled out to the outdoors so he can visit with his dogs; there are 4 female dogs and one male. He refers to them as "the girls" and he misses them a lot.  They have him on the ventilator several hours a day and they are hoping to do away with it soon.  Dillan is beginning to remember some of what happened but he is having a little bit of difficulty with his short term memory.  The doctors say it is normal for head traumas to have a problem and hopefully, it will right itself.  Dillan was eighty-eight pounds when the accident occurred; he now weights sixty-eight pounds.  He keeps telling everyone that he is hungry and wants to eat.  The food he does get is in a tube and he does not like it.  They are working on this! We know the Lord has been working on Dillan for he has made such great progress!  And he is so eager to go home.  Everyone involved with his treatment and therapy encourage him to do his best so he can feel well enough for the doctors to send him home. Thank you so very much for praying for this little boy.  Rose and Jesse are very appreciative of your prayers for their son and so am I.  So many caring people, all praying for Dillan, WOW!  Praise, honor and glory to Jesus Christ our Savior!  Keep praying for Dillan's complete recovery.  Again, thanks, to all of you.  May the Lord bless you and your loved ones, now and always. Loving you through Him, Hilda

She recently went for more blood work and will meet with the doctor next Monday, March 8th to discuss the results of her test.  She has been unemployed for some time now and her time is running out soon to draw unemployment benefits. She has put in an application for a job but has not heard anything as yet. Lord I ask that you wrap Margie in your arms of love.  I ask that you draw her close to you.  I ask that you cover her with your healing power from above.  I ask that you comfort her and remove any pain and discomfort that she may be having. I ask that the results of her test show nothing of a serious nature. If healing is to come through the doctor I ask that you give wisdom as how to treat her.  I ask that she be free of the pain and discomfort of the rash.  I ask for complete healing.  I ask that you place her with a job where she will be happy and have good medical coverage.  I ask that she be surrounded by other workers who are Christians. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Heavenly Father I lift up Leonard to you in prayer. He has a stroke in September of 1992 and he still has problems as a result. His left side was left paralyzed which left him unable to walk but you changed that Lord, he can walk now with the use of a cane. His body is still weak and he misses the things that he was once able to do but he is grateful to you Lord that he is able to walk again. Lord I ask that you wrap Leonard in your arms of love. I ask that you draw him close to you. I ask that you cover him with your healing power from above. I ask that you remove any pain and discomfort that he may be having. I come before your heavenly throne once more on his behalf, believing that through you all things are possible and I ask that you give strength to his weakened body so much so that the use of a cane will no longer be needed. I ask that he be a testimony to the doctors, family and friends once more of your healing power and of the power of prayer. I ask for complete healing. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.
