Heavenly Father I lift up Joey to you in
prayer. He is sixteen years old. One of his
legs was shorter than the other and he has had
to wear a special shoe to balance the
unevenness. There were times that he was made
fun of by other students in school and I know
that must have been so hurtful to him. He has
been so excited about this surgery and has had a
lot of faith as to the outcome. Today will be
his third surgery to lengthen his leg, last
Wednesday's surgery was successful in aligning
the side bone and he had a great week (pain
wise) last week. The doctor is unhappy with the
result of the lengthening procedure and wants to
try for a little bit more. He is still close
to one inch short and that is still a big
difference. Unfortunately, the existing rods in
his legs are not resisting the procedure and are
"maxed" out so today Joey goes back to the
hospital for operation # 3. The doctor will
insert two more screws into the leg so that it
can be lengthened from a different spot on the
fixator. Lord I ask that you wrap Joey in your
arms of love. I ask that you comfort him and
draw him close to you. I ask that you cover him
with your healing power from above. I come
before your Heavenly Throne on his behalf and I
ask that you bring him safely through surgery,
free from complications with a successful
outcome. I ask that you wrap his mother Kathy in
your arms of love. I ask that you comfort her as
she awaits the outcome of the surgery. I ask
that a GOOD REPORT be given. I ask in the name
of Jesus. Amen.
10/04/07 Update
Hi everyone- I'm happy to report that Joey's
legs are now EVEN! We did it! The first part
of all of this madness is over. We were able to
achieve the full 2 inches in length on his leg
and although he is very sore and uncomfortable,
he is also very grateful that this part is
over. The doctor gave us a bone stimulator that
he has to wear for 10 hours a day (he wears it
while he sleeps) and this is too help enhance
the growth of the bone. Don't forget, he now
has a two inch gap in his bone that has to fill
in. The rule of thumb is one month recovery for
every centimeter of growth and he has 5
centimeters to fill in so the fixator will be on
his leg to the end of February unless the
stimulator hurries things along which we are
praying it will. So once again, I want to thank
everyone for their prayers and ask that you keep
him there until his bones heal. We want them to
mend on their own and not need a bone graph or
marrow which is also a possibility in these
cases, but he is young and strong so we pray his
body heals itself! He is doing well in school
and is even a stage manager for the fall play,
"Rumors". Our schedule lately between school,
after school, doctors and physical therapy has
been very hectic to say the least, but Andy has
been most understanding and hasn't minded that
dinner hasn't been put on the table at 5. Fast
food and sandwiches lately but it's all for a
good cause! Thanks again for all the support
that you all have been showing us, it means so

Heavenly Father I lift
up Garrett to
you in prayer. His parents took him to the
doctor for what they thought was a little
infection in his finger and because they
thought that maybe he had a virus. The
doctors told them they wanted to check his
blood. They mentioned that although he had
no other signs, they'd like for him to be
checked for anemia since he seemed to bruise
easily. The doctors came back to give them
the diagnosis and immediately took Garrett
from the room. They informed them that
Garrett was very highly anemic and that he
appeared to have leukemia. All of his counts
were very low so they called for a CBC to be
taken to the hospital , about twenty minutes
later they came back and told them
that Garrett needed a shot of antibiotics
and they were to head straight to St. Judes.
Terrified and feeling so much pain for their
precious son they did as the doctor told
them. Because of the infection they were
unsure as to when he could go for surgery
but the doctor scheduled him for that day.
The diagnosis was Acute Lymphoblastic
Leukemia (ALL). Chemotherapy was started.
They have a long road ahead of them. Lord I
ask that you wrap this precious child and
his parents in your arms of love. I ask that
you comfort them and draw them close to you.
I ask that you give them strength to get
through each day. I ask that you comfort
Garrett and remove any pain and discomfort
that he may be having. I ask that you cover
him with your healing power from above. I
come befroe your Heavenly Throne on his
behalf, believing that through you all
things are possible and I ask that you
remove this terrible disease from his body.
I ask that he be a testimony to the doctors,
medical staff, family and friends of your
healing power and of the power of prayer. I
pray that he shares his testimony with
others throughout his years of life. I pray
that he will grow to love You and accept
Jesus as his Lord and Savior. I pray that
all Glory, Honor and Praise be given unto
You. I ask for complete healing. I ask in
the name of Jesus. Amen.

Heavenly Father I lift up my nephew
Jackson to you in
prayer. His kidneys aren't functioning properly
and he has been placed on dialysis. He is only
three weeks old. Lord I lift up this precious
child to you, I ask that you wrap him in your
arms of love. I ask that you comfort him and
remove any discomfort and pain that he may be
having. I come before your Heavenly Throne on
his behalf, believing that through you all
things are possible and I ask that you restore
his kidneys to function properly. I ask that he
be a testimony to the doctors, medical staff,
family and friends of your healing power and of
the power of prayer. I pray that all glory,
praise and honor be given unto you. I ask that
you comfort his parents during this difficult
time. I ask that you draw them close to you. I
ask for complete healing . I ask in the name of
Jesus. Amen.

Heavenly Father I lift up Donna
to you in prayer. She is pregnant with twins, a
few weeks ago she had premature labor and was
placed on complete bed rest. Lord I ask that you
wrap Donna in your arms of love. I ask that
comfort her and draw her close to you. I come
before your Heavenly Throne on her behalf and I
ask that you place a hedge of protection around
those precious little babies and keep them safe
until delivery. I ask that Donna have an easy
delivery and the babies be born healthy in
every way. I pray that they will grow up knowing
Jesus as their Lord and Savior. I ask in
the name of Jesus. Amen.
Heavenly Father I lift
up Susan to
you in prayer. Due to the low funding of
Carolina Radio Station, which airs Christian
Ministry, her position has been closed.
Her work is not integral to keeping the
stations on the air, so it makes perfect
financial sense to her that her position be
cut. Lord I ask that you wrap Susan in your
arms of love. I ask that you provide her
with another position that will meet her
financial needs as well as supply her
medical needs through a good insurance plan.
I ask that the position you place her with
will enable her to minister the love of
Jesus. I pray that that the love she has for
Him will shine through the way she lives her
life. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.
Heavenly Father I lift up
Carolina Christian Radio to you
in prayer (which is the corporate name for
all six of the radio stations). The
donations/sponsorships have not kept pace with
the basic monthly needs leaving the ministry
with major shortfalls and threatening the future
of the ministry. With so much going on in this
world Christian Radio ministers to so many
people and through these broadcast many have
come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
Lord I ask that you touch the hearts of the
listeners to send in donations to keep this
broadcast going. I ask that the monthly income
of this ministry be substantial to keep it on
air. I ask in the name of Jesus.
Heavenly Father I lift up my niece
Ann to you in prayer.
Ann has been diagnosed with a heart valve
blockage, she is scheduled for surgery on
Wednesday, August 8th. Lord I thank you for all
that you have brought Ann through over the
years, two kidney transplants and years of
illnesses caused from diabetes. You Lord have
carried her through so much, now once again I
come before your Heavenly Throne on her behalf
and I ask that you guide the surgeons hands and
bring her safely through, free from
complications completely healed. I ask in the
name of Jesus. Amen.
Heavenly Father I lift up my brother
Frank to you in
prayer. He has been in pain for over a month now
due to a Torn Rotator Cuff. This pain as well as
an undiagnosed problem that has also caused him
a great deal of pain has made it very difficult
for him to work. He was recently diagnosed with
a bad sinus infection , he is being treated for
that problem with antibiotics. He has an
undiagnosed problem remaining that has to be
looked into by a Neurologist. He is scheduled
for surgery Wednesday, August 8th for repair of
the rotator cuff. Lord I ask that you wrap Frank
in your arms of love. I ask that you comfort him
and draw him close to you. I ask that you remove
any pain and discomfort that he may be having. I
come before your Heavenly Throne on his behalf
and I ask that you guide the surgeons hands and
bring him through surgery free from
complications, completely healed. I ask that you
give healing to his sinus's and I ask that you
give healing to the undiagnosed problem that he
has been having. I ask for a speedy recovery. I
ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

mother to you in prayer. She has
been having acute back pain for the past week.
She has also had some weight loss. Lord I ask
that you wrap this precious mother in your arms
of love. I ask that you comfort her and draw her
close to you. I ask that you cover her with your
healing power from above. I ask that you remove
any pain and discomfort that she may be having.
I come before your Heavenly Throne on her behalf
and I ask that you give healing to her body and
restore her appetite so she can gain back the
weight that she has lost. I ask that she be a
testimony to Kris of your healing power and of
the power of prayer. I ask that you comfort Kris
during this time , I know that she feels
helpless watching her mother suffer with this
pain, she knows that she can do nothing to help
her but she knows that you can Lord. I ask for
complete healing. I ask in the name of Jesus.

Heavenly Father I lift up my son
Glenn to you in prayer.
He is scheduled for surgery tomorrow, June 12th.
He broke his pinky and the surgeon will have to
place pins in it. Lord I ask that you wrap
Glenn in your arms of love. I ask that you
comfort him and draw him close to you. I ask
that you remove any pain and discomfort that he
may be having. I ask that you cover him
with your healing power from above. I ask that
you guide the surgeons hands and bring him
safely through surgery, free from complications.
I ask for complete healing of his finger.

Update 6/21
Surgery went very well
for my son, didn't have to cut his finger to
get the pins in. Surgery was scheduled for
11 :00, they took him in at 10:00 instead
and we picked him up at 12:00. He saw the
doctor yesterday, everything is healing good
and he will have the pins removed in three
weeks. Thank you to all who prayed for my
son and thank God that all went well. In
