Heavenly Father I lift up the Bikers in Elaine Marie's group to you in prayer. They are scheduling a day for witnessing in a school located in their area. They are trying for May 25. Lord I ask that the date chosen by them be open for them to go. I ask that a hedge of protection be placed around them as I know the devil prowls around like a roaring lion and rest assured he will be working hard to place obstacles in their way to stop this from happening. I ask that you intervene Lord and help them through anything that may deter them. I ask that the auditorium be the gathering place for the unsaved. I ask that you lead many to come into that room. I ask that you prepare the hearts of those who will be sharing THE GOOD NEWS OF CHRIST with the unsaved. I ask that you give them strength to fight any obstacle that may be placed in their path. Heavenly Father I lift up Matthew to you in prayer. Matthew is not doing well mentally, he has stopped taking the prescribed medication for his condition and he is not in a good state of mind. His parents have had to take away his car, which also involved the help of the police because they did not feel that he was stable to drive. They will be taking him for evaluation as soon as they can get an appointment, meanwhile they are under a great deal of stress due to the problems that Matt's instability has caused. Lord I ask that you wrap Matthew in your arms of love. I ask that you draw him close to you. I ask that you cover him with your healing power from above. I come before your Heavenly Throne on Matthew's behalf believing that through you all things are possible and I ask that you restore his mental sate to normal. I ask that you give complete healing to his mind and remove any illness that causes his unstableness. If he has not accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior, I ask that you place Christians in his path to share the GOOD NEWS OF CHRIST with him. Heavenly Father I lift up Megan's Mom to you in prayer.  November of last year, she was hospitalized for what the doctors believe was bipolar depression. She had no friends or family to leave Megan with, so she was placed in foster care. She is still depressed and grieves for her precious daughter who is only six years old. She stated in her prayer request that her only hope is that she will have no more relapses of this illness, and that her daughter will be able to spend the rest of her childhood with her. A hearing is scheduled for June 20, to decide whether Megan can be returned to the care of her mother. Lord I ask that you wrap this woman in your arms of love, she is a mother who cares deeply for her child. I ask that you draw her close to you. I ask that you cover her with your healing power from above. I ask that you remove any fear that she may be having and replace it with peace that surpasses all understanding. I come before your Heavenly Throne on her behalf, believing that through you all things are possible and I ask that you bring Megan's mother through this illness, free from depression, completely healed. I ask that she be reunited with her daughter soon. I ask that you comfort her as she awaits the outcome of the upcoming hearing. I ask that mother and daughter be reunited on that day never to be separated again. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Heavenly Father I lift up Laura Dunaway to you in prayer. She is twenty-nine years old and was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma Large Cell Cancer. It is quite advanced and time is critical. This is a very fast growing type of cancer. There are tumors in both lungs, in the rib area and near the aorta of her heart. It is very rare for someone so young to have this type of cancer. Lord I ask that you wrap Laura in your arms of love. I ask that you draw her close to you. I ask that you cover her with your healing power from above. I ask that you remove any pain and discomfort that she may be having. I ask that you remove any fear that she has and replace it with peace and calmness in knowing that you are with her. I come before your Heavenly Throne on behalf of Laura believing that through you all things are possible and I ask for a miracle. If healing is to come through the hands of a surgeon, I ask that you guide his hands and bring her safely through, free from complications, completely healed. Status Of Salvation
Sunday evening I received a call from my sister and her husband in Ohio who are also good friends of Laura's parents. They were so thrilled.  Brian (Laura's husband) was saved tonight at church in Ohio.  I have three sisters and their families that go there and also Laura's parents.  Laura is a Christian but her husband wasn't.  He had never been raised in church like Laura.  He is such a very sweet person...just wasn't saved until all this happened.  He is so dedicated to her.  He told her he wanted to go to church tonight and ask if she felt like going.  She told him that she had to lay down for a little while and then she would get up and try to make it. My sister said she just about fell over when she looked up and saw Brian and Laura sitting across from them in church.  The Minister of Music had been witnessing to Brian while Laura was in the hospital.  It was a time of rejoicing and we are hoping this is just the beginning of things we can rejoice about.  God is so awesome. Bob was working last night so he didn't get to be there when Brian was saved.  I know Phyllis wished he could have been there.  When Laura and Bryan went forward, Brother Betts told about Bob and Phyllis coming to know Christ.  He told about the Sunday they came forward and how faithful they had been throughout the years.  What a happy time. Wednesday (April 17, 2002)
Laura got her first treatment today. It took about three hours. They didn't have all the info they needed. The treatment itself only took about 1 1/2 hrs. We talked to her this evening and she is fine. They gave her a shot to help with the sickness plus some pills. We want everyone to keep praying that God will put this chemo in the right places that it will kill this cancer. We found out Monday that the type of cancer (Ana plastic large cell lymphoma, null cell type) is not found very often. Only about 1% of what they see is this type and is found in older people. They have decided to use a treatment called CHOP which is short for something. Its a standard treatment for lymphoma. I don't know what else to say about it at this time. From what I heard the doctors say they are not sure what will work. Wilma I want to think you for all the work you have put into the prayer chain. I really believe it is getting Gods attention. All we can do now is hold Laura's hand for now. The best thing out of this so far is Bryan has accepted the Lord as his Savior.  We will be helping him to grow now.  Bob & Phyllis

Below is an update on Laura written by her Father.  
Laura and Bryan came over after her treatment about noon. I think that is why the sun came out. She is doing real good. I was over to their house Tuesday evening for a while and got to rub her on her head. She laughed and I could have cried. Her hair started to come out and it hurt so bad that she cut it off to about 1/4 inch. It looks good though. They had lunch and then a nap before going home. Laura hasn't lost any weight and still looks good. It takes about six days after the treatment before she gets really tired. She goes back tomorrow for a shot for the white blood count. I really thank the LORD for her not getting sick after the treatments. She is still able to keep up with her work at home. I don't think they are giving her that much. She went in to the office one day to work with one of the salesmen from Italy on interpreting some literature. That's about it for now. Bob

Howdy Folks:
Good news I want tell you is about Laura. She went for an x-ray last week and then for her third treatment yesterday as well as the results of her x-ray. The Dr. was really surprised the tumors have started to shrink as well as the air ways are opening up. All this after only two treatments. All of our prayers are getting to God and He is showing us what he can do. We are so happy! The second opinion we are waiting on from M.D. Anderson in Houston, TX will take another three weeks I reckon. Laura found out today that they didn't get all the info they needed.  She had to call the Dr. today to get the other test results sent in. She was able to go into work today for a while. This afternoon she went for her $4000 shot that she gets after each treatment. They help keep the white blood count up. Its a good thing they have insurance. Love Bob and Phyllis

Hi All: I hate to write everyone at once but I just wanted to let all of you know how I'm doing. I went to the Dr. Wednesday to get the results of my latest X-ray which was taken the night before my third chemo treatment. The tumor in my lung has shrank dramatically, and my Dr. was very pleased! Everything else is going great!  I haven't been sick from the treatments, except for being a little more tired. But last weekend I rode my bike.     Update on Laura
I talked with Phyllis (Laura's Mother) this morning.  Laura is still doing good.  She had a treatment a week ago Friday.  She had a few days where she had a hard time concentrating.  She said that was the first time she had experienced anything like that.  She's been getting tired more recently, but that is to be expected with the dosage of chemo and all that she had taken.  She had her fifth treatment and they did a CAT scan. Phyllis said she has an appointment with her doctor in two weeks and that is when she will show Laura the results and tell her how many more treatments will be given.  She will know the results of the scan when she visits her doctor in two weeks. We will pray that the cancer will be gone and especially that the radiation they discussed in the beginning will not have to be given. She is still in good spirits and says God will see her through and heal her from this.  Amen to that! Rosa

Please pray for Laura as she talks with the doctors about the Stem Cell transplant. She doesn't want it, and says they must give her a really good reason for having it done. I told Phyllis (Laura's Mother) we would pray the PET Scan shows all is gone!!!!!  Laura will have a heart scan and shot tomorrow. Love, Rosa
Update 9/11/02
Just got back form seeing the cancer doctor with Laura. She gave us the results from the Pet Scan. It was not what we wanted to hear. We were praying for a clear scan but it didn't happen. There is still a 1" x 1.5" tumor left from the original tumor. After Laura's 4th treatment they did a Cat Scan, and it showed the tumors had responded to the Chop Chemotherapy and shrank considerably. They told us that what they were seeing on the Cat Scan might be scar tissue. Now the Pet Scan shows very little change therefore the Chop treatment is no longer working. It has shrunk as far as it will with this type of treatment. I guess the cancer builds up an immunity to the treatment pretty quick. We thought that radiation treatments would finish everything off. But it's not the way it is going to end. The next step is another biopsy of what they are seeing from the pet Scan. There is always a very slight chance that it will be scar tissue but not likely. The radiation in the Pet Scan only goes to cancer cells and that is why it showed up. After the biopsy our only option is a stem cell transplant. Stem cell transplants are very hard on your body. Laura will probably go to Cleveland Clinic for this. There isn't anyplace in Dayton that does it. It could take up to five or six weeks to go through this treatment. Well, that it for now. Don't give up on the prayers. We will let you know when we know anything else. Bob & Phyllis PS Laura & Bryan decided to go away for the weekend. This will be good for them.

Hello Prayer Partners:  Laura (Lewis) Dunaway's parents recently came from Ohio to spend the weekend with us here in Tennessee.  We enjoyed a great weekend together.  Laura finished all her chemo treatments.  After the chemo, a PET scan showed that there was still some of the cancer left in her lung.  She then had to decide between radiation or a stem cell transplant.  She decided to try the radiation and if it doesn't completely do the job she will go ahead with the stem cell transplant. She has had several radiation treatments and is doing quite well as far as feeling OK.  She goes about her regular everyday activities and has a great attitude.  I will give you another update when they do a test that shows whether or not the radiation is working. Heavenly Father I lift up Ozzy Osbourne and his family to you in prayer. As I watched a few segments of their show I found this family to be in a great need of prayer. I do not claim to be perfect nor do I stand in judgment of them, as I too had many sins in my life and I still fall short. So many people are watching their television show especially the young ones and that alone worries me. Lord I ask that you touch the hearts of the Osbourne family and draw each one close to you. I ask that you place conviction upon their hearts as they view their lives that have been made public on national television. I ask that you change them Lord just as you changed me and other sinners. I ask that you place Christians in their paths to share the GOOD NEWS OF CHRIST with them. I ask that you draw each one close to you. I ask that you open their ears to hear, their eyes to see and their hearts to feel your wonderful love. Lord what a great witness they could be to proclaim the love that Jesus has for us, to proclaim the changes that he makes in our lives when we accept Him as our Lord and our Savior. Heavenly Father I lift up Danny to you in prayer. He had about a foot of his colon removed and sixteen lymph nodes, five were cancerous but they were closest to the growth.  He had his first chemotherapy treatment last Friday and will continue having them for six months. The oncologist said with the chemo treatments there is a seventy-five percent cure rate. Lord I ask that you wrap Danny in your arms of love. I ask that you draw him close to you. I ask that you cover him with your healing power from above. I ask that you remove any pain and discomfort that he may be having. I come before your Heavenly Throne on behalf of Danny, believing that through you all things are possible and I ask that you give complete healing to his body. If healing is to come through the use of chemo treatments, I ask that you keep him free of the devastating side effects that this treatment has been known to cause. I ask that he be a testimony to the doctors, family, friends and strangers of your healing power and of the power of prayer. I ask that you give comfort to him and his loved ones as they await the outcome. I ask that a GOOD REPORT be given. Heavenly Father I lift up Glenda to you in prayer. She has a lot of burdens to carry in her life and I certainly know how that feels. Your word says that you will not give us any more than we can handle. Heavenly Father I lift up Jake to you in prayer. Last night he was taken to the Emergency Room, diagnosis, A Typical Migraine. He is thirteen years old and has always suffered from allergies, he takes shots, medications, etc. for them.  He has migraines that are caused from the allergies, this migraine was different from any that he has ever had, he was stumbling, his speech was impaired, he experienced numbness on his right side, he was vomiting, he was confused, he was blind in his right eye for a few minutes and he couldn't remember the name of the doctor that he has gone to for most of his life.  A Cat Scan was done and the results were fine, his sugar was checked as well and it was OK. His doctor will be seeing him this morning and he will be scheduled to have an MRI. He will also be scheduled to see a neurologist. Lord I ask that you wrap Jake in your arms of love. I ask that you draw him close to you. I ask that you cover him with your healing power from above. I ask that you remove any pain and discomfort that he may be having. I ask that you remove any fear that he may have and replace it with calmness and peace in knowing that you are with him each step of the way. I ask that you give wisdom and guidance to the doctors and medical staff caring for him. I come before your Heavenly Throne on behalf of Jake and I ask that you see him through this illness, free from complications, completely healed. Update 4/14/02
Thank you so much Charlotte for your prayers for my son Jake.  We took him to the doctor Thursday and he still thinks it's a type of migraine that caused a small stroke.  I will feel much better after we see the specialist next week.  Jake hasn't had any more problems but I have been keeping him close to me and now he doesn't want to leave the house.  He is afraid it will happen again.  I have tried to reassure him the best I can that we have to believe it won't happen again and we have to get back to normal living.  This has been really hard on him.  He is so worried he has the same condition my daughter had last year when she had to have brain surgery.  We very much appreciate all those who are praying for him. Hi Charlotte.  Jake seems to be getting back to a normal life and hasn't had any more problems.  We're still waiting to see the specialist.  Will keep you updated as we find things out.  My daughter has her hands full right now.  There is another spot on her brain the drs. are keeping an eye on, she had a biopsy 3 weeks ago for cervical cancer that showed a pre-cancerous condition. She is pregnant, the meds she's been on for the last year to prevent seizures in known to cause birth defects, mainly spina bifida. She and her non-working husband had to file bankruptcy because she was out of work for a while because of the surgery, they lost their trailer and she just moved into an apartment 2 weeks ago.....just her and her 1 yr. old. She is still working a full time job and taking care of the baby and everything else by herself.  She needs your prayers too hon. We really appreciate them. God bless, Love, Vicki

Jake saw the neurologist yesterday.  The C Scan that was done at the hospital when I took him to ER last month was not normal.  ER had said it was and said he had suffered a Typical migraine.  The neurologist thinks Jake has the same condition Leslie does.....AVM.....Artery Vein Malformation in the brain.  Tests are being done and we go back to see him in three weeks to know for sure.  Leslie had surgery last May and there is another spot on her brain the doctor is watching.  She goes to the doctor next Thursday. The spot they took out last year on her affected nothing of importance in the brain so we were very lucky.  The place on the C Scan that looks suspicious on Jake is in the back of the brain on the left side that controls almost everything.  Please keep Jake  and Leslie in your prayers.  I will let you know what we find out.  Thank you so much for your prayers, love and concern.  God bless, Vicki

Hello Charlotte,  Jake went to the specialist last week and he told us that the C Scan the ER took and said was normal, was in fact abnormal.  Jake has been doing well though, PTL!  Jake has tests scheduled for June 4th and June 6th.  We see the neurologist again on June 18th for the tests results.  Thank you so much for your prayers and concern and please keep praying for him.  Thanks again and God bless, Vicki and family.

Thanks for all your prayers for my son, Jacob.  We got his tests results from the doctor today. Jacob has been doing very well.  He doesn't have the same hereditary condition as his sister, he has migraines from allergies. The stroke/seizure episode he had was what they call A Typical Migraine.  His dosage of periactin was increased and the doctor wants him to take one baby aspirin a day as a blood thinner in case he has another one of these episodes it shouldn't get as bad.  I know that your prayers for him were heard by the Lord and I can't thank you enough. Good morning my friends:)  Please forgive the generic e mail but it is so much easier this way to tell you my news.  You have all been with me and my family for nearly two years now and have prayed for my family so much that I can't tell you how much we appreciate it.  We love you all:)  God works miracles everyday as we can testify to.  You remember that my youngest daughter, Leslie, has a little boy 1 1/2 yrs. old, Jayden Dakota, and that Les had brain surgery last year.  Friday she had another little boy.  His name is Jordan Dayne.  They are both fine.  Leslie had another MRI done and the doctor said it looks really good.  She is still having some small seizures from time to time but all in all she is doing very well.  The doctors were concerned that possibly the baby would have some birth defects from her meds but PTL he is just perfect!  I know that your prayers have pulled them thru all th! is, and me too:)  And my son Jake is doing better than ever.  He hardly ever has any more headaches and no more migraines!!  My Mom is still the same, holding her own. Heavenly Father I lift up Kathy's mother-in-law to you in prayer. She is seventy-four years old and was recently released from the Intensive Care Unit diagnosed with Mid Spinal Cord Stenosis. There is no cure for this disease, it has already affected her legs and she can't walk. Someone has to be with her twenty-four hours a day. The doctor also thinks that she has cancer in her nose and it is eating the inside of her nose out. She is scheduled to see a nose specialist soon. Lord I ask that you wrap this precious woman in your arms of love. I ask that you draw her close to you. I ask that you cover her with your healing power from above. I ask that you remove any pain and discomfort that she may be having.  Lord just as you gave sight to the blind, speech to the mute, hearing to the deaf, movement to the lame, healed leprosy, raised the dead, healed the woman who bled for twelve years, I know that you are able to do all that is ask of you. There is no cure for the disease that she has therefore I come before your Heavenly Throne on her behalf, believing that through you all things are possible and I ask for miraculous healing. I pray that she will be a testimony to the doctors, family, friends and strangers of your healing power and of the power of prayer. If it is not your will to heal her then  I ask that you give her the strength to accept your will. I ask that you give comfort to this woman and her family as they await the results to see if she has cancer of the nose. I ask that you draw each one close to you. Heavenly Father I lift up a young lady of seventeen to you in prayer. She was coming home from work the other night, she got off the bus and had to walk only four houses away to reach her home. A man grabbed her from behind, dragged her behind a house and raped her. He knocked her out before raping her. There have been a lot of rapes reported happening the same way around the area. Lord I ask that you wrap this young lady in your arms of love. I ask that you draw her close to you. I ask that you cover her with your healing power form above. I ask that you comfort her and give her strength to overcome this terrible assault upon her body. I ask that disease or pregnancy not become a result of the evil that has taken place. I ask that you give comfort to each victim and keep them in your loving care. I ask that you place a hedge of protection around the young and older women in the areas where this man may strike next. I ask that you give wisdom and direction to the police in apprehending this animal who preys upon the innocent. I ask that he be brought before a judge and that he will receive just penalty for the crime that he has committed. I ask that he remember each and every victim that he has violated, that he see them in his mind every day of his life until he is brought to his knees in repentance. I ask that no one else suffer at the hands of this man before he is caught. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Heavenly Father I lift up Linda's grand-daughter to you in prayer. She is four years old. Over the years she has had so many health problems that her parents almost lost her many times. She has a high tolerance to pain and that makes it difficult to know when she has ear pain. She has had tubes put in her ears a few times. Most antibiotics won't help her anymore. Her last ear infection went to the bone and almost to the brain. She was in the hospital the last time she got this infection for five days. She has been going in every two days to get a shot, these shots are very painful and she may still end up in the hospital. Her ear drum almost burst and still hasn't healed completely. Lord I ask that you wrap this precious child in your arms of love. I ask that you cover her with your healing power from above. I come before your Heavenly Throne on behalf of this little one believing that through you all things are possible and I ask for miraculous healing. I ask that she be a testimony to the doctors, family, friends and strangers of your healing power and of the power of prayer. I ask that you give comfort to her parents as they await the outcome. Heavenly Father I lift up Grace King to you in prayer.  She was taken to the emergency room and is now on the heart floor of the hospital. They are going to do a coronary angiography tomorrow. She is 78 years old. Lord I ask that you wrap Grace in your arms of love. I ask that you draw her close to you. I ask that you cover her with your healing power from above. I ask that you remove any pain and discomfort that she may be having. I ask that you give the doctors and medical staff wisdom and guidance as they care for her. I ask that nothing serious be found. Thought I'd send you this I received from my Mom for you. She is home. They found some blockages but are trying a new medicine for it. Mom's heart is racing and they can't do much for it. If it slowed down the pace maker would help, when it's too fast there seems to be nothing that can be done. Hi there, Hope all is well with you. My Mom got pretty sick with a cough and chills. She ended up in the hospital three days later (had seen the doctor the day after it started). She had an infection and bronchitis. While receiving medications through a breathing treatment she had a heart attack (found out after she was home and seen her doctor). Mom has only 45% use of her heart now. They feel she will only have 50% use at the most. She is weak (she never stops and this has really slowed her down) and she has lost nine pounds in a week, she has a small frame and she is a thin person (unlike her daughters). Mom is a Christian lady who loves the Lord. She is in His hands and that is the BEST!  So if you don't get emails from me as much (not cheering gals) I am trying to be with her and help her as much as I can. Hope all is well with you! She went to the doctor all excited because she was going to hear her babies heart beat for the first time, but after the examination the doctor told her that the baby was dead. She is scheduled to go to the hospital at 6:00 A.M. for them to do what they have to do. She has been through so much already, having to deal with her mother and daddy's separation and divorce and then the bout she had with cancer last year and now this. Lord I ask that you wrap Alicia in your arms of love. I ask that you draw her close to you. I ask that you comfort her and help her through this difficult time in her life. Thanks so much for your prayers, Bonita is doing much better, tomorrow she will be leaving the hospital, she will be in a rehabilitation center until her legs gets stronger where she can walk, and hopefully she will be home soon and be as well as new. I am taking care of her fourteen year old son, he has lung problems. He is such a good young man, he is in a Christian school and really loves the Lord, I am so thankful for him, his dad left his Mom and him when he was just a yr. old, no one knows where he is, and this child has never gotten any child support. I lost my husband will be two years this June and I have done my best to keep him in a Christian school, his grandpa was so close to him, his name is Vince. He had a heart attack Saturday, and was life flighted to o Rapid City, SD.  He had surgery yesterday morning, they opened up one valve with the balloon, but had to put a stint in to hold the other one open. His daughter thinks he might even be released late tomorrow.  Lord I thank you for seeing Bobby safely through surgery. I ask that you continue giving strength and healing to his heart. Heavenly Father I lift up Marla to you in prayer. She had a mammogram last week because of something she and her doctor were concerned about. Her doctor called her with the results, he said something showed up. but he is unable to be completely sure of what it is at this point. She will have another mammogram in three months to see if whatever was there has developed or gone away. She is very nervous even though the doctor said to try not to worry. Lord I ask that you wrap Marla in your arms of love. I ask that you draw her close to you. I ask that you cover her with your healing power from above. I ask that you remove the fear that she is feeling and replace it with peace and calmness in knowing that you are with her each step of the way. Heavenly Father lift up River to you in prayer. He was born a healthy little boy on June 28. 2000. On October 22, 2001, he had a brain bleed for no apparent reason, he recovered enough to come home and in January of 2002 he was back in the hospital for a few day's. His parents thought everything was getting better and then came the blow of a life time! Every parents worse nightmare, The doctor had found a tumor in the brain stem during an MRI. River had to undergo eighteen hours of surgery on March 5. 2002. The parents were then given more bad news, he has a rare form of brain cancer that has spread to his spine. The doctors are not sure at this point if anything can be done for him. Lord I ask that you wrap this precious child in your arms of love. I ask that you remove any pain and discomfort that he may be having. Dear Lord, he is so young and yet he has went through so much, my heart aches for this child and his parents. The doctors are not sure if there is anything more they can do for him, therefore I come before your Heavenly Throne believing that through you all things are possible and I ask for miraculous healing. Lord you are our great physician, the one we turn to when all else fails, you healed the blind, the deaf, the lame, the mute, the woman who bled for twelve years, those ill with leprosy, the demon possessed, you raised people from the dead and I know that you are able to heal this child as well. Lord I place him before you and I ask that you cover him with your healing power from above. I pray that he will be a testimony to the doctors, medical staff, family, friends and strangers of your healing power and of the power of prayer. Hello Everyone,  I wanted to let everyone know that River came home from the hospital today. He is doing good right now. He is eating well and very happy to be home! He will be going to St. Judes Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee to be put into a clinical trial by April 9. We are very hopeful and are praying he does not end up back in the hospital before it is time to go there. He will be there for approximately forty weeks. They are going to put him through a series of chemotherapy and radiation. This is going to be a rough road for him as well as all of his family. We are very thankful for all of your prayers. Hello Everyone, We just wanted to let you know that River is at St. Judes hospital. He has had a lot of tests done on him and he also had surgery on Monday again. During a cat scan they found two more new tumors, one in the front of his head and one in the back. They removed them and the surgery was only six hours long. He is doing as well as can be expected at this time. We are waiting for his spinal tap to be done so we know if the cancer has spread into the spinal fluid. The Doctors will do this test as soon as River is well enough again. If the cancer has went into the spinal fluid River will be taken out of this clinical trial and there is nothing else they can do for him. Please find it in your HEARTS to continue to Pray for River and his family.

On April 1, she will be going to the heart doctor to see if it is OK to have the large tumor on her knee removed as well. That will require an anesthetic, and after having a heart attack last December, she feels they might make her wait, but because of special circumstances, she needs to get it done before the end of April. She has had problems with her heart in the past. Her husband Darrell has had heart problems for many years now which has left him very weak. He also had one of his legs amputated. He has been in and out of the hospital a lot, there is not much the doctors can do for him.  Lord I ask that you wrap Arlita in your arms of love. I ask that you draw her close to you. I ask that you cover her with your healing power from above. I ask that nothing of a serious nature be found when the cardiologist checks the heart monitor. To let you all know that doctors were pleased that surgery went well....Norman had five damaged arteries...But were amazed and pleased to see that his heart was in much better condition than first thought :-) of course we all know who did that :-) ...  He is now in the Intensive Care Unit and still needs your prayer support...He was still having some blood coming from his stomach, so please pray concerning that ...  Our deepest gratitude to you all... Norman has been moved to a room of his own !!!! :-) Sounded really good today. Walking some, mostly on a liquid diet..Tubes were removed from his stomach this morning Thank you "JESUS" He had a little bit of drainage from his leg from where they took the veins....  If all goes well, he will come home probably by the week-end.. :-)  He was running a slight fever so please be in prayer concerning this if you would... Just to let you all know that Norman went to his other heart Dr. yesterday the 29th. for a check up, there is a portion of his heart that is still not working and one valve is leaking.... All in all the Drs. are amazed at the fast healing he has experienced because of the damage the massive heart attack first caused.....Damage was done to the front and back of his heart when he had the massive heart attack... What are we going to do? Well, what we are going to do is walk by faith and know that GOD is in complete control and HE will supernaturally correct this problem...  Norman's' strength is returning daily....We are reaping the harvest of blessings' :-)  We are truly grateful for your prayers they did reach the throne of God......May the LORD bless you abundantly Brenda and Norman

 Hello to all,  Just wanted you all to know what a miracle God has truly performed..... Thank you all for your prayers, even when I seemed to have ran out of words you all hung in there for us when we so desperately need you warriors.... My excitement is all about my husband Norman, as you all know what a severe shape his heart was in after the massive heart attack that he had..As you all know he has been doing follow check ups.... I am so thankful to say that his Dr. told him today that he is in great condition for all that he has been through His heart looks great!!!! Hallelujah...   They may not have to implant the defibulator as once thought....GLORY !!!!!! He needs to start his exercise prog..so maybe this will encourage him to do so..... God is so good !!! Heavenly Father I lift up Beth's mother to you in prayer. She was getting out of the tub last night and somehow, her left knee gave out and she twisted it. They put some medicine on her knee and she took some pain pills. However, she would not call a doctor as Beth suggested, now, she is having trouble walking again. She had surgery in July of last year, a steel rod was placed in her back to help straighten out a curve due to scoliosis. She also has osteo-arthritis in her back as well. She was recovering very well and Beth is praying that this accident doesn't set her back. Lord I ask that you wrap Beth's mother in your arms of love. I ask that you draw her close to you. I ask that you cover her with your healing power from above. I ask that you remove any pain and discomfort that she may be having. I come before your Heavenly Throne, believing that through you all things are possible and I ask that you bring her through her injury and that nothing of a serious nature be found. Hi, I received many notes today from  you plus people I did not know. Thank you so much for praying for my Mom and myself. We went to the Dr. and he said that the cartilage had shriveled upward on her knee causing the pain and all. He gave her more pain meds and we are going to see an orthopedic Dr on Tuesday, we are looking at outpatient surgery. However, once she has this, she should be back to normal according to the Dr. He said it would be an immediate thing. So, I will keep everyone posted once we hear further. Thanks for praying for me also. I am just wiped out, bottom line. Also, please pray that Satan will leave me alone, he is doing nothing but reeking havoc on me and fighting him is taking a LOT of energy. Also, please pray that I will have more patience with Mom as this is taking a toll overall. Thanks also for passing this on to others and on to other prayer lists. That really means a lot. Several people have sent me what others have written etc. Please pass this on to them to let them know I really do appreciate these prayers. They mean a lot and I am grateful to have so many reaching out and praying for us. I will keep everyone updated but for now, I am going to try to get some rest. Mom has gone to bed. Good evening! I took Mom to the orthopedic Dr. today. Well, she is not going to have to have surgery......YEA!!  He had her fitted for a leg brace to wear during the day which helps her to walk much better. Anyway, she is getting around a lot better and even drove herself some today!! She will start back with her regular therapy next week. The Dr. said that it was fluid that built up in the area where arthritis was and had an effect on some cartilage that was there (??? I am not good at this as I am not a Dr.). The bottom line is that she is going to be OK, no surgery and I will pick back up where I left off in getting my life back next week!!!!! YEA!!!! GOD IS SOOOOOO GOOD!!!! As for me, thanks for passing these prayers around to others. I DO appreciate this. PLEASE circulate this email again as I have heard from so many and have not been able to write back to them. I want them to know how much I appreciated this. It really meant a LOT to me. I have received many prayer requests from several of you as well. Just wanted to ask for your prayers for my family! Dad (Charles Duncil) is still sick from having chemotherapy.  However, results from his blood work shows his blood is normal.  No carcinogens were found. His oncologist was pleased with this.  Dad is doing well, but just can't eat because of nausea. Dillon my son had his tonsils removed and he is recovering well from his surgery.  He acts like a different little boy.  I took him to the Shrine Circus Saturday and we also stopped by the park, he loved the fountain at the park.  He told me this weekend that everyone needed a daddy like me and that he loved me. I miss him so much! Kara told me Friday night on the phone that she was coming to talk to my preacher/counselor and that she would come and see me.  She hasn't called William yet or come to see me.  I'll wait and see.  I believe that God is working in her and that when He is ready, He will restore our marriage and family. I truly believe that God brought me to it and He will bring me through it. I am letting go and letting God work. Please continue to pray for us all.  It looks as if God has taken care of my Dad and Dillon.  I am praying and believing that He is also working on Kara and me and that our reconciliation is fast approaching.  Thank you for your prayers, they really do lift up my spirits!  Brent

Hi, My family and myself wish to thank you and everyone for their prayers. Praise The Lord ! he is home. He is still weak from the seizures but he is OK. His blood level had to be above 15 before he could go home. At one point it was well below 8. He has no insurance and would not stay at the hospital. Thank you...Roy (my nephew) is doing OK. He has good days and bad. With the seizures he loses brain cells and has some memory loss. He has to make sure he eats properly and takes his meds. Thanks so much for your prayers.

Heavenly Father I lift up Blake to you in prayer. He is 6 years old and has been diagnosed with Junior Rheumatoid Arthritis. He has had this very painful ailment since he was about a year and a half old. He is scheduled to go to Duke University on Wednesday, March 20. They will be putting him to sleep and giving him steroid injections in the joints that he is having trouble with. This will be very painful for him, but, the results can be incredible. He had this done last April and was virtually pain free for almost a year. Lord I ask that you wrap Blake in your arms of love. I ask that you give him and his family safe travel to the University on the 20th. I ask that you cover Blake with your healing power from above. I ask that you remove any pain and discomfort that he may be having. I come before your Heavenly Throne on his behalf, believing that through you all things are possible, and I ask that you bring him safely through, free from complications, completely healed. I ask that this treatment place him in remission. I ask that he be a testimony to the doctors, family, friends and strangers of your healing power and the power of prayer. I ask that you give comfort to his parents Lisa and Hubbard and to his sister Blair as they await the final outcome. I ask that you draw each one close to you. I ask that a GOOD REPORT be given. Dear Rejoicenhm,  Blake came through the surgery and is resting at home with his parents by his side.  He is such a trooper.  He was able to get the injections in his wrist and his knee.  Please continue to pray for the use of his wrist.  It was so full of fluid, when they were injecting the steroid, the fluid on his wrist was coming out.  He had little mobility (before the surgery) in his wrist, so that is a big concern to us.  He was in terrible pain when he first woke up and is unable to use his hand now from the pain and swelling. Please continue to lift Blake and his family up to the Lord in prayer.  We do know that God is the great Physician and that everything is done in His timing.  Already, this child is known for his great faith and is a testament to others.  Lisa also is able to speak to others about what God is doing in their lives through this.  People are seeking her out, that she would never had a chance to witness to, whose children have just been diagnosed with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis. Please continue to pray for them.  Mostly, for healing. You will never know how much everyone's prayers have meant to me.

Dear Prayer Warriors,  I am coming to you again with a prayer request.  As you know my nephew Blake went to Duke this week.  We knew before he left that his wrist was a major concern.  Lisa has been speaking with his doctor this week by e-mail and she too is concerned about Blake's wrist. The doctor said his wrist worries him because it shows progression of disease with areas of erosion.  He said if there is continued inflammation of the wrist it can affect growth locally.  Which means stunting the growth at the wrist (he's 6 years old). The only way to prevent further damage is to add a second line agent such as Methotrexate, which is used for cancer patients.  They have tried this before and Lisa thinks that it was not effective.  It can damage your body to a point of having to have blood work done every 30 days, which is very traumatic to Blake.  Please pray for Blake that he will be healed.  Pray that they will find something that will give him mobility in his wrist.  I saw him yesterday, and he held his hand straight out, unable to bend his wrist at all and said, "I used to be able to bend it more than this."  Our biggest prayer right now is that a way can be found to stop this disease.  Please be much in prayer.  I will keep you posted.  In Christ, Susie

Charlotte, you have been so gracious to lift our son, Blake Johnson, up in prayer.  He is now eight years old.  He continues to have Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis.
We continue to pray that the Lord will heal his body completely so that he doesn't have to take his medication.  He is much better, and is not in chronic pain, although he does still have arthritis in his right thumb, left hip and left ankle.  I ask that you will continue to pray for total healing for him and that his new medication will not effect his vision.  We give God all the glory for the progress that he has made.  Blake has recently developed kidney stones, please pray that we can figure out what causing them and that he won't have any more.. The doctor did a needle biopsy last week and discovered that the cancer is back. She will be meeting with him on Wednesday, March 20th for consultation. Lord I ask that you wrap Claire in your arms of love. I ask that you draw her close to you. I ask that you remove any fear that she may have and replace it with peace and calmness in knowing that you are with her every step of the way. I ask that you cover her with your healing power from above.  Once again Lord, Claire needs a healing touch. I spoke with Claire over the phone last night, she is in good spirits. As she says she is in Gods hands. Surgery is scheduled for 10:00 AM, Friday April 12. Please keep her daughter Sharon, husband Doug and loved ones in your prayers as they await the outcome. Please pray that the cancer is contained in one area and has not spread and that it will be removed completely never to appear again. Claire's daughter called me Saturday, April 13, the day after Claire's surgery. Praise The Lord !!!, she did great, all of the cancer was removed and she was released on the 13th. Dear Friends ... I just received this update on Deb's dad shortly after my p/requests went out for the day ... but wanted to send it out to you; thanking you once again for holding them up in prayer ... "Jack Wynkoop" Update: Daddy I talked with the doctor last night and April was at the hospital too. I also called this morning. Daddy had a rupture of the main artery in his belly. They give him a 50/50 chance. He made it fine through the night and he is been waking up. They hope to take the breathing tube out today. They said that sometimes people who have this happen come through it O.K. only to get worse after three to four days because of the heart and kidneys. They had to cut into his groin and fix the flow of blood to his left leg because the doctor noticed that the rupture had affected the flow to the leg. They said that this may be hereditary. The doctor said that he was a very sick man but he is a very strong man so that may be in his favor. Hope so. I am on my way up to Pittsburgh right now but just wanted to let you all know how he was doing. Deb

Please would you graciously continue your prayers for Uncle "Jack" for his continued strength and a complete healing from his aneurysm surgery. He is in "Critical" but stable condition at this time. His heart is strong and his vitals are good except he is still on the Ventilator to breathe for him. They (Doctors) seem to think that its because of all the drugs, pain killers, and the anesthesia is affecting his ability to breathe on his own. But otherwise he is strong as an ox. How do we ever begin to thank you "all" for being there for this precious loved one of ours with the powerful blanket of prayer; God Bless you one and all from the bottom of our hearts ...  "Jack Wynkoop" ... from his daughter Chris, Deb's sister. Thank you all so much for your continued prayer and support for Uncle Jack, we appreciate them and you ... so much ... Deb ... Pam ... Donna I just wanted to update you on dad. George and I have been going down to UPMC regularly and Deb has been staying in Pittsburgh. He is off the ventilator and will be moved to a regular floor. George and I talked to Dr. Gamble, who is one of his surgeons on Wednesday night. He said that Dad is not out of the woods yet. Dr. Gamble said that even when he is sent upstairs he can still have a heart attack or a stroke. He said that this happens many times to patients who have had this type of surgery. The hospital actually saved his life by not doing the usual x-rays but life flighting him down to Pittsburgh. Chris

Judy and I went down to see Uncle Jack and Deb yesterday. It is worse than I could ever have imagined. He can't talk with that ventilator down his throat, but wants to so badly. We got him to write a little bit. It was difficult to decipher, but we figured it out. He just wants to go home & be with God.  The kids have all agreed that if his heart stops, there will be no resuscitation. They have to decide in a day or two whether or not to do a tracheotomy for his breathing. Jack doesn't want it. We asked him yesterday & he said no!  He looks horrible. His color is bright gold. His liver is fighting so hard to filter the 16 units of blood he was given. I just hope God gives him some peace soon. Deb needs our support. She spends every waking moment with her "Daddy and is very weary. Pam ...
Please continue to pray ...I spoke with Deb's husband Larry tonight, they have removed the ventilator on Uncle Jack at 6:00 P.M. (this evening, Monday) He is now in I.C.U. and in God's hands and care. He is being sedated with morphine for pain. He has spoken with his Lord and Savior and is restful and at peace, wanting to go home. Please continue to pray for God's mercy and comfort for him, and for Deb, Chris, April and Jerry ... for the rest of his family who loves him and feels the pain and for our friend and sweet p/partner Deb, who has been at her Dad's side; as she is very tired and weary. Dear Friends, Family, and P/Partners ... It is with a very sad and heavy heart that I come to you to tell you that Uncle Jack passed  at the hospital in Pittsburgh; yet with the inner peace and joy of knowing he is now waking up, to that unbroken calm ... and finding "Heaven" home ... I just spoke with Deb, and she said her Dad was moved from ICU to a private room so she and Larry could stay with him without any interruptions, where she and he laid at his side while he peacefully was led home by his sweet Lord. The memorial arrangements are pending as of tomorrow, (today) he will be taken home to Clarion; where he will be laid to rest with his Mom and Dad, sister, (my precious mother) and brothers awaiting his arrival for that heavenly reunion. Thank You Lord Jesus, death where is your sting? ... Thank You for our heavenly eternal home! Tonight Uncle Jack is ... "Home"... Please continue to remember Debbie in prayer, she is very tired and weary, but in God's strength and light. Praise His name! Please remember her husband Larry who knew and loved Jack as "Dad" ... not a father-in-law, and the other children, Chris, April and Jerry, and all their children, his beautiful grandchildren. PRAISE GOD! Wow.. satan is doing his best to create havoc in every area of our lives!  Lila, send me the following verse, "~~"FOR WE KNOW WHOM WE HAVE BELIEVED AND ARE PERSUADED, THAT HE IS ABLE, TO KEEP THAT WHICH WE'VE COMMITTED UNTO HIM AGAINST THAT DAY."  Hallelujah what comfort and hope that offers! Thousands of warriors committed my friend Ann's well being to God and as always He proved His faithfulness and His glory shone all over Mercy Hospital this week end!  All the surgeons found was a mass of what the doctors -- termed "what we are pretty certain is normal brain tissue.. although we cannot say for certain until the complete biopsy comes back!"  Well, they can throw in their hesitancy of pronouncing Ann cured.. but we all know better.  We prayed for it.. We claimed it.. and God has performed another love miracle!  Praise His HOLY NAME! Saturday she was taken back to a regular room and starting on physical therapy.  The prognosis is great, and I am told she is doing better each day.  Want you all to know how thrilled Ann was.. and her family with the booklet of prayers and words of encouragement. I will be taking up what I have received over the weekend tomorrow.  I am eager to see God's miracle in action!  From the bottom of my heart.. thank all of you who prayed and those who send messages, you were a real blessing to Anne and her children.  Even Don has perked up!  PRAISE GOD!!!

Ann fell and hit her head on the cement after coming home from the hospital.  Two days later she was air lifted to University Hospitals where they did the second brain surgery and removed a large blood clot.  She came out of the coma, two days later she had to have the third brain surgery to remove another clot.  She was in a coma for over two weeks, in fact they were discussing the possibility of taking her off life supports when God heard our prayers and she had a miracle comeback with very little damage from all the surgeries.  We were all ecstatic and giving God praise for His awesome love and mercy.  The family had her to love and be with another week. Last Wednesday I received a call that emergency prayers was needed for Anne had another massive stroke.  She went to heaven that afternoon.  Her memorial service was held this morning.  I was asked to speak at her service which was so hard, for this precious lady was like a second mom to me and everyone around her.  Praise God He helped me.  The world lost part of its beauty last Wednesday, but heaven sure gained a beautiful angel.  Please keep Anne's family in prayer.  They were a very close knit family with Anne the glue that kept them together.  Pray especially for her husband Don.  He is very ill himself and steps will have to be taken for his care as he can not be left alone.  Anne's testimony was the family she raised that is so loving and have been such a source of comfort to their father and each other.  Pray God gives them wisdom to make the right decisions. I would like to share a special story with you about Ann. Three years ago, I was the activities director for 3 manufactured home communities.  One of the projects started was a craft and card group for seniors.  One of the first things I noticed was a lot of our seniors needed a place to go where they would not be alone, make friends, and enjoy themselves. The craft circle all looked to Ann as "our motherly leader." She was so talented and so very patient.  There was never a boo boo that was so bad, Ann couldn't fix, and she encouraged many who thought they couldn't do much to finding out they had a lot of hidden talents.   Arthritic fingers came to life under Ann's gentle guidance and I praised God many times for this awesome woman.  Her life was anything but easy.  She had a husband who had been seriously ill for several years, and housebound.  But she always had a beautiful smile and was upbeat and positive about everything. One of our members was taking a bible study course called Alpha. It was a nine week course and I went and oh it was awesome.  When it came time for the next session there were five of us, including Ann who went.  I watched this beautiful woman come alive with the thirst to understand and learn the word of God.  I am not amazed that this course happened  just before Ann got sick.  She missed the last lesson and the retreat, but you could tell while her body may be sick, her soul was completely healed. We needed a name for our craft group.  We chose the Dorcas Crafters.. after the lady from Joppa in the bible who sewed for the poor.  Her name was Tabitha, but the Greek name was Dorcas.  Acts 9:36-41.  She did many kind deeds for others and was loved by many.  There is a story about Dorcas where she said if she had her choice when she got to heaven, she did not want a harp.. she would much rather busy her hands with sewing patches on the little angel's britches. So like Ann..the only difference, Peter raised Dorcas from the dead and she went on fulfilling her wish to do for others.  Christ chose to take Ann home and praise God her suffering and pain is gone.   I can see in my mind's eye Ann busy .. not playing a harp, but sewing the patches on the little angel's britches.   Isn't God amazing in how He molds our lives around His word with people and events.  Praise God He allowed me to share in the sunshine from Ann's life.  How I miss her. Ann went home to Jesus.  She seemed to be rebounding from her third brain operation, then another clot formed and she didn't make it. I was asked to speak at her funeral and it was so hard.  She was a beautiful woman, and heaven is definitely a brighter place with her there.  Thank you for your concern

Heavenly Father with each prayer request I get for the disease of cancer my heart aches for the families. So many death from this terrible disease which does not discriminate, it takes the young as well as the old. It has left families in great distress as they sit and watch their loved ones suffer through this terrible disease. The mental strain and stress has been very hard on loved ones as well as the ones who are afflicted with cancer. So much has been given toward cancer research, some promising treatments but still no cure. Lord I ask that you give wisdom and guidance to the medical reaches as they seek to find a cure for cancer. I ask that a cure be found soon to stop this disease which has taken the lives of so many. For the precious children as well as the older ones Lord I ask that you provide a cure. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Hi Kala went back to school for three days, then due to running a high fever she has been out a couple days. The doctor ran more test, the lungs seem to be clear don't know where the fever is coming, as high as 103 degrees.  He is going to give her a complete physical, try to find what is causing the fever, we know God is in control and everything is going to be OK!  I have been praying for the lady that her child was killed by the car. I can't think of anything that could be worse than that. I found this going through Prayer pages. I don't think my heart could have stood that, it would hard to even try to imagine how she feels.  I am praying that God will be with her!   love you,

Hello this is Kala Jennings, pops little grand baby I'm doing much better. I'm out of school now, pop took me to the beach and I had a wreck in a little race car and I had to go to the hospital. I hurt my back, I pulled the lower part of my back and then I have this major bruise on the back of my leg where they tell me I pinched it somehow, I'm really not sure but other than all that I'm fine. My back still has it's days where it hurts real bad so keep me in your prayer's please!

She was going to adopt the baby that her sister is carrying, however, her sister changed her mind and has decided to keep her baby. Tandi is very saddened over the loss of her baby as well as the disappointing news that she will not be able to adopt her sister's baby.  Lord I ask that you wrap Tandi in your arms of love. I ask that you draw her close to you. I ask that you comfort her during this sad time in her life. I ask that you place peace in her heart toward her sister and that there be no conflict between them. I ask that you place a hedge of protection around the baby that her sister is carrying and bring this precious child safely into the word, healthy in every way. Heavenly Father I lift up Jim to you in prayer. Jim has been diagnosed with cancer and the doctor says that he is terminal. Lord I ask that you wrap Jim in your arms of love. The doctors have done all that can be done for Jim medically, therefore I come before your Heavenly Throne on his behalf, believing that through you all things are possible and I ask for miraculous healing. Heavenly Father I lift up Rachel to you in prayer. Rachel is sixteen years old and she disappeared on March 4th. She is officially reported as missing and a nation wide alert is on. She left a note for her parents saying that she would be back, she had something she needed to do. There had been no trouble at home or at school, she does not do drugs or alcohol and did not run with any crowd. She was supposed to be at her job at Bob Evan's but did not show up. Lord I ask that you wrap Rachel in your arms of love. I ask that you place a hedge of protection around this precious child and keep her safe from harm. I ask that she return safely home to her parents. If she has fallen into the hands of someone with evil intent, I ask that you place a heavy conviction on the persons heart to let her go. Please Lord I ask that you keep this child safe. I ask that you give comfort to her family and draw each one close to you. I pray Lord that the outcome of this will be a time of rejoicing that Rachel is safely home with her family. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

We thank God for all the prayers going up for Rachel.  We know he hears every pray, through those prayers we believe that a protective hedge will be placed around Rachel.  Pray with us that she will listen as God speaks to her and come home or call.  This is day 4 and no news and not a clue to where she may be. Update 6:30 AM March 12th
Son called, told us that Rachel left a message on Tommy's (friend she worked with @ Bob Evan's) answering machine last evening said to tell her folks she was all right. We are praising God for that bit of information. It gives us new hope. Pray the detective will be able to trace the call. Harold and I returned from MO yesterday, after three days of endless searching and handing out flyers and talking to as many people as we could.  Our son and wife are exhausted as you can imagine. Keep them in your prayers as well. You would not believe how kind and generous we have found strangers to be.  Many prayed with us on the spot. Praise God Rachel was found this evening in Oregon.  She went to see a boy she liked when they lived in Idaho 2 years ago.  But just as were rejoicing, we got a call that the sheriff went to pick her up and she and the boy escaped out the back door.  They are on the run (I believe on foot) as I send you this message. We are trusting God that the sheriff will have them by tomorrow.  It is remote where they are, it is just over the line about 30 miles from where they lived in ID. I am Rachel's grandmother. From the time Rachel was born we have had a major role in her and her sisters life. I had just talk to her about ten days before she ran away.  She was just bubbling over, talking about her dress for the prom her new job and she wants to be an EMT so we were talking about college, scholarships and so forth. Her Dad, step-Mom and all of us are totally baffled what led to this.  We are trusting that God will bring her safely home so we can love her through what ever is troubling her.  We are asking for prayers for these people she is with that they will realize that they should not aid her. She had known them two years ago before they moved to MO, and we truly believe that they will not harm her physically.

Dear Heavenly Father, We lift Rachel up to you this day. Place a hedge of protection around her that the enemy cannot break through. We praise Your Holy Name, Father that in our sorrow You touched Rachel's heart and she phoned her Dad to let him know she was safe and approximately where she was.  Lord, we are believing that soon she will be back with her family.  Lord, we pray for other runaways and their families.  We pray that these trouble young people will come home or call their families.  We pray for the Dad's. Rachel returned to Illinois on Thursday 3/21.  She will be spending some time with her Mother.  We are praising God that she has returned safe.  We truly believe it was from all the prayers being said for her that allowed this happy homecoming.  Thank you and all those who prayed for her and for our family.  There is no way we can tell you have much it meant to us all. "We can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God." 1 Corinthians 1:4 NIV. We all have friends and family who stick by us no matter what happens.  God cares for us, too, by lovingly sending us someone to lean on.  We are blessed with people we can turn to in our struggles who will welcome us and our problems.  And later on we can return God's loving care by helping someone else who needs support.  God's comfort flows to us when needed and through us when others need it. (that was what she was going to do she said as soon as she turned 17).  She will be 17 on Friday (14).  We are traveling to see her on Wednesday. Charlotte, Praise God, He has heard our prayers and answered them!  Rachel has decided not to go to Oregon and in fact has broke off with this young man. We were able to be with her and her sister on Wednesday to celebrate her birthday.  She seemed more like her old self, laughing and joking. We know that Satan will keep trying to tempt her but we are praying that God will keep her strong and she will pray and search for His will in her life. Yes, today is her birthday.  Seventeen years ago today her Dad and Mom brought her home.  She of course was the most beautiful baby since our Son was born. :) I told her Wednesday that she had grown in our hearts from the time we knew she existed and she has given us so much joy as she has grown into this gentle, caring young woman.  Nothing she could ever do could alter our love for her. Yes, her Dad and Mom and Step mom have had a rough time.  There is still much healing to do between her Dad and her.  Stubbornness on both their parts.  Thank you again for your prayers.  I love your poetry, keep up the talent God has given you. How nice of you to inquire about Rachel. She is still living with her mother.  In school, has a job and seems to be doing well. So good to hear from you again.  Jasmine Marie was born May 19th and  she is a happy, chubby little angel.  Rachel is doing very well.  A good mother and works hard to provide for her and her new daughter.  Thank you and your friends again for all the prayers for Rachel.  She is learning lives hard lessons but the Lord is there to help and protect her and Jasmine.

Hi, Thank you for your prayers.  Steve is doing better than expected.  He is out of the hospital and was told he can go back to work.  He is scheduled to have surgery to try and remove the brain tumor later this month.  Please continue to pray for healing and strength for Steve, and pray for his wife, Cyndy and their two daughters. Heavenly Father I lift up Caleb to you in prayer. Caleb has been diagnosed with Leukemia, he is five years old. He is now in remission, his counts are slowly improving, but are still too low to continue chemotherapy treatments. Antibiotics had to be stopped for a week because they can suppress his counts. He had to be on antibiotics throughout treatment due to his increased risk of pneumonia. He is feeling pretty well and his appetite is improving and he is getting around a little better now. Thank you Lord!  Lord I ask that you wrap this precious child in your arms of love. I ask that you comfort him and remove any pain and discomfort that he may be having. I ask that you cover him with your healing power from above. He is so young to have to suffer through this terrible disease.  I went back for more pictures for my mammogram, and they put dye in and took a look. The x-rays shows several abnormalities, I will be going into the hospital for biopsies on both of my breast. I am trusting in the Lord, I know that He will help me through this trial as he has done all of my life.  I can't say it does not concern me, I know that He understands that too, so please just keep me and my family in your prayers. They will come from the veins in her legs. The femoral artery is the chief artery of the thigh that lies in the anterior part of the thigh, the renal artery is located on either of two branches of the abdominal aorta of which each supplies one of the kidneys and gives off smaller branches to the urethra, adrenal gland, and adjoining structures. If all goes well she expects to be in the hospital for seven to ten days. Lord I ask that you wrap Jackie in your arms of love. I ask that you give comfort to her and draw her close to you. I ask that you cover her with your healing power from above. I ask that you guide the surgeons hands and bring her safely through, free from complications, completely healed.
